Gabriel came this afternoon and gave me an estimate for a pipe repair. He was on time, very courteous and professional. I set up an appointment with Jill for Gabriel to return for the actual repairs next week. I only just called Advanced Plumbing this morning and Jill was fantastic setting everything up for me! Wonderful customer care! I'm sure the repairs will be done with great care and expertise!

My water heater sprung a major leak late in the afternoon, right before the normal close of business. I called a few services that advertised after-hour services; Advanced Plumbing & Drain was the only service that was able to assess and if needed, replace the water heater the following day. Gabriel showed up at 7:00 the following morning, recommended I replace the water heater; since I'm in a 2-unit building and decided to replace the other water heater as well. Gabriel ordered the 2 (special sized) water heaters and scheduled a time early afternoon to install. All-in-all, I had 2 new water heaters working before 5:00 that day. Customer service was FABULOUS every step of the way -- and Gabriel was fantastic - knowledgeable, explained things in an understandable non-techie way.

In researching earthquake readiness, I learned that you can retrofit your house’s gas supply with an automatic shut-off valve that detects seismic shaking greater than 5.0. This means if there’s an earthquake emergency you don’t have to think about shutting off the gas. I contacted Advanced Plumbing & Drain for an appointment. The team arrived on time, assessed the situation and completed the retrofit within the hour. Prompt and professional. Good communication. I highly recommend them.

I have used Advanced Plumbing for several services over the years - toilet repair, faucet installation and repairs, and biggest was an emergency replacement of the water heater. Shout out to Gabriel and Nick for being so responsive and found excellent work including clean-up after the job is done

They showed up quickly and offered to do the replacement right then. I had to leave, but we scheduled for the next day and they showed up on time and quickly replaced the water heater with updated equipment.

On a Friday night over a holiday weekend our toilet overflowed. I called Advance Plumbing and was able to secure an appointment on Saturday morning. Alex was super professional, called when he was on his way and arrived during the agreed upon window. He clearly explained the issue, solution and cost. Alex performed the work quickly and efficiently and with such a pleasant demeanor. We plan on calling Advanced Plumbing, and specifically Alex to replace our current toilet.

Great customer service! I had a leak pop up at a rental property and couldn't get anyone out until the next day. I called Nick, the owner, and even though they were booked he had me send him a pic and video of the leak. Then was able to tell me how I could slow it down without having to turn off the water completely, until he came out and replaced the valve the next day. Very reasonable pricing. We'll definitely use Advanced Plumbing for future needs.

Jeremy came out within a few hours of our call, diagnosed the problem, and came back the next day to install a new hot water heater. Our old one wouldn’t fit down the side of the building so he came back in two days, with another guy, and they spent 2 hours cutting the old heater apart to be transported away. Thank you for being so efficient, Jeremy!

Toilet was plugged and leaking at floor. Ron removed the toilet and showed me that part of the the wax ring was missing. He also showed me that there was standing water near the top of waste pipe which he said indicated that the waste pipe was blocked. He ran a snake down the waste pipe and found roots were blocking the pipe. He cleared the pipe, replaced the wax ring and reset the toilet and flushed several times and everything flushed good with no more leaks. Ron cleaned up the area really good before he left. Ron was very friendly and professional and would highly reccomend his service again.

Not sure what the negative reviews here are about. It was totally different from my experience:

Called around to address a clogged sink drain. I’d done some legwork first (removed trap, ran manual snake through line) to make sure I really needed a pro before having to wade through all the suspect 5-star reviews to find someone capable and trustworthy. Other plumbers (including two I’d used before) either refused to provide any ballpark estimate, even if assuming a simple rooting with an electric snake was all that was needed, or provided crazy high estimates for simple rooting. Advanced didn’t play these pricing games, provided fair prices (keep in mind, it’s still SF), and provided an appointment for the next morning (1-hour time window, not 4!).

When Gabriel arrived, he was on time, very courteous, cleaned up the inevitable post-rooting mess, and super friendly to boot. Oh, and he fixed my problem quickly and efficiently! He noted things to do to avoid reclogging, pointed out a dent in the pipe that was a problem spot, quoted a very fair price for replacing the pipe, along with a couple other minor plumbing fixes I had him look at. Advanced will definitely be my first call for any future plumbing needs!

Our instant hot water dispenser went out, and the shutoff valve was old and could not turn off the water. Gabriel did a great job of replacing the valve first, and discovered that the hot water dispenser only needed a minor adjustment to work again. They were in and out quickly and did a great job. They are now at the top of our list for plumbing help.

We had a water heater leak and it was very late in the day. We tried several plumbing companies before contacting Nick with Advanced Plumbing and Drain. They came out, determined the problem, explained our options, and the water heater was replaced within a couple of hours. They were very professional, knowledgeable and reasonable. I would definitely call them in the future, and have already recommended them to friends and family.

My toilet was overflowing with storm/ sewer water, almost faster than I could bail it and Nick was able to get Gabriel to my house within 45 mins of my call for help. He creatively and effectively fixed my problem within an hour and was so knowledgeable and helpful, could not recommend them enough!!!!

Installers that came from the store I bought my Verona gas range at were useless, had them just cancel their install and called Advanced Plumbing & Drain and Gabriel came out the next day and unpacked and set up the new gas range perfectly. It was a good number of steps setting it up and I am glad I didn't just use the original installer folks who couldn't figure out even the gas feed line!

We just found our new plumber. Nick from Advanced Plumbing and Drain was fantastic. We just installed a new 100 gallon, Bradford White commercial water heater in an apartment building and could not get it to work, it kept shutting off within the first couple of minutes. Nick was prompt with both phone calls and actual appointment and was able to resolve the problem we had in about 45 minutes. If my brother, who really knows his stuff and is a tough critic, can say that Nick is legit and great, you better believe he is. Thank you, thank you, thank you Nick! Great to work with - professional and friendly with high quality work. Gabriel has done an excellent job multiple times over. For example, they installed a new smart shower valve for me that everyone else had trouble figuring out, and coordinated with other subs on the project rlly well. Out of all the different subcontractors I worked with on my bathroom remodel (for which I didn’t have a GC), this company was BY FAR the best to work with. They come in, work hard, and get it done, with transparent pricing. I’ve hired other plumbers before but wouldn’t again after finding this company.

I have used Advance Plumbing a few times as of late and they have responded promptly and efficiently. I needed a faucet repair and then a toilet repair in the course of one month. I find them to be prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. As a property owner in San Francisco it can be challenging to find services and it is always refreshing when you find a service you’re in need of and they don’t charge you an arm and a leg because it’s the city.

They are great! I had a funky bathroom basin issue. They were on time. Took care of it. Cleaned up when they were done. Highly recommend Gabriel and his crew. Mack was excellent!

Courteous, prompt and professional! We had a leak in our backyard, just before the irrigation system. Due to the location of the leak we had to turn off the water to the whole house. The receptionist said she would have him call Monday after the weekend it is Thursday. Still no call back. Will have to get another plumber.

Had to have a garbage disposal installed and to leverage the visit, also a water valve replacement. Installer was professional, helpful (did some troubleshooting to try to avoid other costs) and provided fair estimates. My mom has used these folks before and always fair, honest, clean up after work and I feel we are treated respectfully.

Jeremy did an awesome job replacing our old disposal. He explained the issue (it was old and had rusted through) and provided us with a few different options for replacements. He luckily had all of the parts with him and was able to complete the job in about an hour, and showed us that everything was working well.
