I had to have an emergency repair of a blocked major drain on my property.
Jorge came out to give me an estimate, and the job was done the next morning. The work was swift and clean and completely to my satisfaction. I live on a steeply sloped property, and getting this job done was important to prevent a catastrophe.

I had a sewer problem. Called Works Plumbing. they came on time & cleared my drain. Im a happy customer & i would hire them again if i need a Plumbing service done.

Angel Mar fixed a garbage disposal and bathroom sink in a rental unit I own. Works Plumbing could not have made it easier for me. Unlike other plumbers, they were open to meeting with my tenant and doing the work without me present. They called me to confirm that the repair and price were okay, did the work quickly (including going to the hardware store to pick up the replacement parts), and billed me immediately. Their price was fair and their payment site could not be easier to use. The site gave me the option to pay by credit card or debit any account at any major bank account directly. Other plumbers would have insisted I meet them at the rental unit, buy the hardware myself, and restricted my payment options. I am very happy with the service I received.

Kyle was very personable, professional and took time to explain our plumbing options. Kyle explained each step of the process with us, and we will ask for Kyle when we use Works Plumbing again.

Angel is just that an Angel! He provided me a few options with our bathroom toilet that needed replacing. He went to get the toilet. He came back and a half hour later the old toilet was gone and the new toilet was in! There's a reason why I chose Works Plumbing & Rooter and it was Angel's 5 Star ratings and reviews. You won't go wrong with this company!!

at first they seemed professional but as they were working they broke things and then threw it in the garbage without telling me they broke anything. they flooded my kitchen which went down into my gargage onto my work out equipment and pictures i had on the floor. they did not mention this to me either. they agreed to clean out a pipe and replace some part of the plywood that got wet in the garage but left without doing any of that or telling me why they didnt complete the job. i was told by the owner and manager that i would be compensated for .and that this type of behavior is unacceptable. i was not compensated. i have left 5 messages to the owner and manager and they have not returned any of my calls!. i was told to buy a rewards card and i would get discounts on future service but why would i ever use them again . they dont even return my calls. the could have at least returned my $300 for the rewards card. i am so disappointed, i was so nervous calling a plumber to begin with and i really wanted to believe they would have integrity.

The job was to clear a clog in a tenant's kitchen sink. Javier the plumber sent out to do the job was on time, very professional, personable and thorough. Therefore I would rate his performance as a solid 5.
I was however not happy at all with the company's business practices. Their quote was 40 - 50% higher than other services I've used before.- Not the first sink I've had fixed. They count on the client accepting their quote since the plumber is already on site and the hassle of getting another plumber to come out may not be worth the trouble. It would be nice to have a reliable company that you can call as needed, one you can trust to do the job right without wondering how badly they are trying to rip you off. These are not the guys. They are more interested in making a quick buck than in building a customer base. Didn't Works for me. Sorry

Travis worked on my drain w bathroom sink cleared the pipe w heavy duty drain tool and the pipe was cleared of debre thanks it saved me a lot of time

I don't have a problem with their plumbers work the plumbers are really nice. The customer service department though really sucks. My experience with Cust service was not a great experience it was horrible. They wouldn't even listen to you. They just assumed what you were going to say and never listened. I am a paying customer. My advice to works plumbing is get more polite staff. I used to di customer service and I always lise no EDD versus being on autopilot. I've even listened even if they were rude or having a bad day I listened. You never threaten to hang up you never disconnect a call. You listen so I'm only giving two stars.

Set up two appointments with Works Plumbing. Spoke with Ray to set up the initial meeting to inspect our problem with two sinks. Angel arrived on time and after reviewing the issues, he made a prompt 2nd appointment (to fit our schedule) to replace some old fixtures. Mario and Heron showed up on time and got straight to work. We had a leak dripping into a very difficult to access part of our utility room, behind a bunch of ducts and pipes. Heron somehow managed to contort himself past all of it without damaging anything, so that he could find the source of the leak. I almost could not believe it. They then quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it!

Nat and Javier did a great job replacing my cracked toilet.

They are a rip off. They charged $4000 for a 40 gallon easy basic install of a water heater. They tried to take advantage of a woman with kids. No thanks stay in Pacifica.

Plumber came out to replace a bathroom since faucet and one shutoff valve under the sink. Quoted 650 for labor! Twice more than anyone else. Way over priced, got another licensed contractor to do it for 325.

We called around and Works Plumbing was the only one that could come out immediately. Our technician was Taani T., who was super professional, diagnosed the problem right away. He was very thorough in the resolution. He also explained things very clearly, so I could understand what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. I have to say that Taani inspired a lot of confidence and I would absolutely hire Works Plumbing again.

We called a plumber previously on a water line issue and paid over 70 just for them to come out and the issue wasn't fixed so we called them. Kyle came to my house to clear a sewer line and encountered a nightmare problem that would have caused most plumbers to give up. The hose got caught on some obstruction and would not pull out. No amount of pulling, twisting, and yanking would budge it. He climbed into the manhole out in the street but the problem was too far away. I'm sure most plumbers would have just left, saying they would be back when they could (and maybe never come back) or more likely, offer some wildly expensive solution. But Kyle never gave up. Over and over, the hose wouldn't budge an inch. But after almost two hours of yanking, pulling, twisting, and running .water, he finally somehow got it out, put in a camera, and removed the blockage. Through it all, he never complained. He just worked the problem. If most workers were as conscientious and persistent as Kyle, we would all live less stressful lives.

Leaky faucet in bathtub getting worse and worse. Called Works Plumbing very early in the morning and they came to the rescue. Christian V showed up in time and assess the issues right away. Unfortunately we know the house is old and needs new pipes and fixtures and did not want to spend too much when we are about to start a remodel within a few months. Christian did what he could within his work limits and told us what to expect if we don't take care of it soon. We have used this company before for other issues in the kitchen and are very happy with them.

I had no hot water for over 2 months and the helper couldnot solve the problem. I then found Works Plumbing that deals with Navien Waterless tank. Kyle, the plumber did a complete maintenance diagnostic overview.
I was delighted to have access to hot water and did not have to figure out the message ERROR/Restart over many times with no access to hot water. Kyle was very confident and professional. So far it has been 24 hours and everything is functioning.
I did pay for a year's maintnance plus his work which totaled quite costly to me. If needed, I would ask for Kyle again.

I've had a Grohe temperture control valve problem for the last year. I stripped the handle screw and couldn't get to the control valve. I had Works Plumbing replace my water heater and had them look at my shower control valve. Ray took photos and researched the Grohe replacement part. I received a fair priced quote on the installation. Travis came today to replace the control valve. He carefully drilled the stripped screw out without damaging the handle, then massaged the stubborn handle off. He set the control valve properly and completed the install. My temperture control now works perfectly!

Great company they are honest, professional, quick they are good in communicating. I totally recommend them they are awesome 🥰🥰

This was my first time with Works Plumbing. They answered the phone and were prompt showing up for the appointment the day after the initial phone call. Shamir did an Awesome job installing an earthquake shut-off valve on our gas lines, and changing out some corroded pipe. Very knowledgeable Master Plumber. Very friendly and easy to talk to. He wore his mask even after I told him Covid is a scam and masks are not necessary. Very professional! Ask for Shamir and he will take care of business !

We needed major replacement work done due to a gas leak. Their crew was here for several days and were easy to work with. It was expensive, so I don't know if it was good value. But we are happy with the work.
We just had them out to fix our dishwasher. They were prompt and we've had no problems since,

I am so happy SLWA sent us Works Plumbing for our plumbing issue. Angel came and patiently worked on the problem, but he needed a high powered equipment to complete the fix. He said he would probably be back around 4pm, but about an hour later, his collegues came with the equipment, set it up for Angel, and when Angel came, the 3 of them made sure our issue was 100% fixed. These guys are very nice, seem really trustworthy and professional. Won't hesitate to contact them again!

They have replaced/updated for all the angle stops with the quarter turns. Not only they got the jobs done timely, they even stayed behind to make sure there's no leak after the water turns back on. They also cleaned up after they worked on the areas.

We needed to replace the main water shutoff valve and a malfunctioning pressure reducer valve to the house, as water pressure in home was too high and could not be properly adjusted. Mario showed up right on schedule to look at the situation, and explained that the system had not been installed correctly when the house was built, which verified my earlier impression. This required more work to fix problem properly than I had initially expected. Mario is extremely nice to deal with and knowledgeable about what was needed to be done to rectify the situation. He was able to do the job the same day, and the replaced plumbing looks great and works properly. I am very pleased with my first experience with Works Plumbing.

The technician was fantastic. This company is CRAZY EXPENSIVE. LOOK FOR ANOTHER COMPANY. I did not allow Work's Plumbing to finish the job since they wanted nearly $500 (Maybe 600?) to use their snake to unclog. I stopped the technician (who was wonderful!) and called another company saving me over $200. TOO EXPENSIVE. Shame on you, Works, this is Pacifica, not Pacific Heights!!!! HIRE ANOTHER COMPANY.

Had the hot water heater go out and need it replaced immediately. I originally called discount plumber who gave me a quote of $4000 to replace the water heater , home depot gave me a quote for $2200 but couldn't replace it for 2 day , a local plumber quoted me $1900 but couldn't replaced it for 3 day and wouldn't remove the old heater. I finally called works plumbing they sent someone out to give me a quote and originally quoted me $3200 but when I told them about the other cheaper quotes they worked with me on the price and were able to almost meet home depot price and they had the water heater replaced same day. Workers were super friendly and got the job done quickly. Highly recommended

The guys came on over did a thorough assessment of our issue, and then sat down with my wife mother-in-law, and I, and gave us their findings and options. They didn’t push for a sale, but really communicated care for our well-being and solutions for our home.
We look forward to seeing them all tomorrow when they come to clean out our drains.

I’ve used Works Plumbing several times over the last five years to fix various plumbing problems in my mid-century home. They’ve replaced faucets, replaced washing machine hookups and installed a tankless water heater for my home. Jorge, Ray, and Angel do excellent work, and I‘m always pleased with the final results. I will continue to use their services, because they are reliable, friendly, and charge reasonable fees for their work. Seriously, who could ask for more?

These guys do more talking than fixing. Did not prioritize our no water situation. Offered a very expensive solution to a issue another plumber fixed in two hours and minimal cost. Go in another direction

One of the best plumbing services that the Bay Area has to offer, we dealt with Angel just a phenomenal individual very attentive and punctual. The staff as well called late night and received a call back made the whole family feel in shock in the time of hardship not having hot water is a big downer. I want to describe an excellent plumbing experience thanks to Ryan Agoncillo and the team at Works Plumbing. The water inlet line to my house had to be replaced. This is a major repair. The line was under various sprinkler lines and went under the driveway, so I was dreading the prospect of the repair.

From the start, Ryan gave me confidence that he would take care of the situation. That absolutely proved to be the case.

• Ryan is a great communicator. He described his plan of attack and made me comfortable with his knowledge and experience.
• Ryan proved to be highly skilled and experienced. He dealt with the inevitable challenges and surprises with confidence and ultimate success.
• Ryan proved to be a true craftsman. He had excellent attention to detail and made sure that the repair was not only functionally adequate but also attractive. His joints were carefully soldered, the driveway was carefully repaired, the sod was carefully replaced. The replumbing of the main cutoff valve was positioned for easy access.
• Ryan’s helpers were also very skilled and the whole team was well coordinated and efficient.
• At the end of the repair, I was unable to be at the site, so Ryan sent me 10 pictures of all aspects of the job. That was an excellent way to end the interaction and gave me a very comfortable feeling.
Ryan’s 20 years of experience, his skill and his excellent communication skills made this a good experience for me. I complimented Ryan and I would appreciate it if you could pass on my compliments again.

This is my fourth time using Works Plumbing. My previous experiences with them were nothing short of excellent.
This time around, my kitchen faucet was giving me problems. Mario evaluated and diagnosed the problem. He recommended replacing the faucet (the most cost efficient solution).

Mario arrived the next day on time and completed the job in a timely fashion. He even cleaned up after himself. I was really happy with his work.

Works sent out George to handle my outdoor sewer trouble. He diagnosed my problem quickly, and immediately began rooting out the problem. I thought there was an associated issue, but George gave me some advice on it too. Professional, personable, and knew his stuff. Great job.

Mario and Javier provided the service (replacing a stuck main water valve) which was excellent! I won’t go into all the sordid details, but we had had no water at all in the house for two days. We first contacted other plumbers, who either couldn’t come or sent out someone who wouldn’t do the work (because he arrived late and there was inadequate time he claimed!—but that other company still charged more than $250 for a Sunday service call!). In contrast, Works plumbing, arrived promptly, assessed the problem, got the necessary part, kept me apprised of what was happening, and efficiently fixed the problem! They were polite, businesslike, competent, communicative, and professional. By the way, they charged less than half of what the first company would have charged. We feel lucky we found them!

Shamir came out to Access our problem. He went above and beyond to explain what was needed to be done and how to resolve our problem. Took time to explain the situation. Very Professional, Would defiantly use their services again and recommend to anyone. Also they have superfast response time. A+ Rating.

The sewer was clogged from the house to the outside pipe and from the outside pipe to the sewer. David cleared both ends and used a camera to alert us to potential future problems with the pipe. The man from the last company failed to clear from the house to the outside pipe but David carefully spent all the time he needed to make sure it was completely clear so we have no more problems!

My drain was backing up in my 74-year-old house we thought it was the disposal was not working properly. I was pretty stressed out because naturally always happens at night time. I called and left a message and Ray called me back in the morning he was very cheerful and understanding they worked with me on the hours that the service technician would come out. Great news they came out same day I called which was wonderful. David the technician Plummer was very professional he arrived on time he knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it. I am very happy with Ray and David from Works plumbing will definitely use them again when I have a plumbing issue.

My husband and I used Works Plumbing to fix the plumbing attached to our washing machine, which was leaking. Our technician Kyle came a couple hours later than expected because he was working on other calls, but he was really communicative the whole time and we appreciated that. When he did come, he was the nicest, most chill guy, and we both really liked him. He assessed the situation and gave us a few quotes based on the different things we could do. We ended up rescheduling for the next day because it was already late, which I was bummed about, but it turned out to be worth the wait. Kyle convinced us to do a sort of premium fix, which seemed really expensive to me but it was SO worth it. Our new washing machine setup doesn't leak, and it looks so sleek with the new plumbing and also no longer will build up gross water waste in a sink. We liked everything so much that we bought a membership with Works Plumbing and are excited to have Kyle back to fix all the things!

This company is a life saver! Our kitchen sink's pipe broke last night and they were able to send someone to our house today. David fixed and replaced our pipe in a jiffy. David was very friendly and very professional. He was able to come up with an idea on how to fix the pipe without costing us an arm and a leg. David was able to fix the pipe in less than half an hour. Just ran the dishwasher tonight and viola! no more fear of flooding under the kitchen sink. Thank you!

Works Plumbing Technician David is truly a professional employee of the company and really deserved to be recognized for his ”works” done in our washer’s drain system.
After further and careful inspections of the system, David rooted the clogged drain pipe and while doing so he discovered cracked galvanized piping where leak is coming from. When he obtained approval from the insurance carrier to cut and remove damaged pipes, He immediately went to purchase all necessary materials and begun the complicated task. With his knowledge and skills he successfully completed the job. My wife and I are so happy. Kitchen and laundry converging drains clogged about 25 ft down-gradient from the kitchen sink. Works Plumbing (through Home Serve) was able to fit me within a day of my repair call. Mario and Lazaro inspected the problem and immediately went to work on the repair. Main drain was unclogged and it’s great to have use of our kitchen, laundry and toilet facilities again. I liked the fact that Kyle went over all the options there were, and took his time going over them. He did clean work and showed his experience by running everything efficiently and clean. The only thing I did not like was having a defined quote when discussing price, amost felt like a negotiation. However, it was defined prior to the start of work, and seemed fair especially for the quality of work. The speed at which he did a whole change out, including removal, and code requirement changes was less than 3 hours. Again, I would recommend them and Kyle to anyone, and I will use them for any plumbing needs!

So the first day of the Shelter In Place order, my water heater decided to bit the dust! So I went online to find a local small business to support. I found Works Plumbing, and I am so glad I did! They came over, and they said they wanted to support a local small business in their community as well, my dog walking company. They gave me a great deal! I was so shocked to see other businesses taking care of another!! David arrived quickly, and they had the water heater picked up, removed the old one and new one installed with in a couple hours! Ray, the manager delivered the new one while David disconnected the old. And then George, the owner came over to introduce himself as a neighbor, as he lives around the corner from me!! What service! My faith in humanity has been restored!! They have me a customer for life!! Thank you!

We were disappointed with the first person that the company sent. The work requires installation of new garbage disposal and sink. He started the job, he found out later the p-trap is short. He told us he can’t finish the job, it was only around 3 pm, he said he has another job waiting in SF, he will come back another day, earliest is tuesday (and it’s only Friday, that means we will not have a working sink until Tuesday. Worst is he said we need to pay the whole amount (1,500) so we were forced to pay. We called the company, reported the incident, the dispatch sent another person (name is HERON), he said Heron is one of their best. Heron is polite and confident. He stayed late to finish the job, he saved our day! He did a great job! We highly recommend HERON!

Javier was excellent, and so was his colleague (Jeron?); great work.

They charged me $69 to come out an give a quote which turned out to be $419 for a simple job - to install a J-Bend pipe under the kitchen sink. I had already remove the broken pipe (took about 3 minutes), but didn't have time to get the replacement pipe (a $27 part). The plumber who came out was very nice and said he felt helpless because he couldn't change the quote. He said he just started working for them and had been getting the same complaint from other customers all day. He also said at other companies he's worked for it would have been a $70-$80 job. THEIR PRICING IS OUTRAGEOUSLY INFLATED. I will never call them again.

Excellent service...

Arrived quickly and did a good job clearing out the clog in my sink, but wow $400 for a 10-minute drain snake job?? Ridiculous! They also won't tell you their prices over the phone! Not recommended except in an absolute emergency.

My water heater went kaput on a Friday evening, on Saturday Mario at Works Plumbing arrived to save the day. The entire process was smooth, professional, and without incident. (And of course, Mario wore a mandated mask.)

What I really liked:

- Received three text msgs. informing me WHEN Mario would be arriving. Even included his face pic so I would know it was him.

- He looked at the water heater, quickly detected the problem areas (it was one of three possibilities), then provided on his tablet the line item description of the part/procedure/cost to do each of each repair.

- Mario recommended starting first with the lowest cost repair ($360). If that was not the fix, then ONLY with my approval he would perform the next repair ($1,200). If that didn't work, I would have to consider a water heater replacement ($2,500+). Note: If the first two repairs did not work I would NOT be charged for those. Truth be told, however, because these guys are pros, they can tell ahead of time what most likely is the problem.

- I liked that Works Plumbing documents all interactions with the customer. Mario presented each digital document on his tablet, each I would then sign with a fingernail.

- Also liked that because Works Plumbing are staffed with professionals, its employees go on jobs prepared, i.e., Mario went inside the Works' van and two minutes later exited with the part needed for my brand water heater (State).

- As it turned out, the lowest cost repair ($360) fixed the problem, specifically: the pilot light mechanism that creates a spark was not working. (I had seen on YouTube that what fails in the lighting mechanism is the small pilot light gas feed tube. Or it may be the mechanism that creates the spark to light the gas pilot light is malfunctioning.)

Trivia: A gas water heater works the same as your stove top burner. The pilot light (a small gas flame) is always burning. When you turn on your stove the pilot light ignites gas on your stove top burner. A water heater burner looks similar to a gas stove mechanism.

WARNING: While a water heater pilot light can go out for any number of reasons, NEVER attempt to MANUALLY relight a modern-day water heater pilot light (as it is OK to do on a gas stove top burner's pilot light). By manually I mean removing your water heater's safeguards (metal shields and covers) and sticking in a flame source such as a barbecue lighter stick.

Conclusion: After Mario was done he provided an electronic invoice, received payment, and was on his way. Five days later I am happy to report I continue to have hot water.

Kyle did an excellent job. Was on time and a pleasure to have do my plumbing. If you want the WORKS call and ask for Kyle!

I called Works Plumbing to help fix a clogged sewage line to the house. While other plumbers were quoting me a couple days of lead time, Mario from Works was able to come out the same day and take care of my issue in a matter of hours. They laid out different options on how to tackle the problem along with offering price plans. They made everything easy, and Mario was incredibly nice, and I would absolutely call them again!

I call at after 5 pm, the day before spoke with lady, she was very nice, she explained the what charges, and made the scheduke for first thong in the morning, she explaine thatb i was going to get a text with tech name and arrivall time which i did, it has his name and picture, Angel was on time and very professional, and he looked under the house, provided suggestion for the next step.

Angel and his partner (Guillermo?) did a great job fixing our broken sewer pipe during the Covid-19 crisis. Very much appreciate their hard work!

If you have an emergency, then you will need to pay very high labor costs for their services. I was suspicious of the lack of any tangible information from the person who sets up the appointments as to rates and whether the plumber sent has basic parts in their van. Since they charge $49 if you don't except their quote, I took a chance on a simple job. When given the quote of $1178 to install customer supplied single-handle garage utility faucet with supply lines, customer supplied hot/cold shut-off values, and customer supplied sink drain assembly fitting into new already installed sink, I asked if he was kidding. Basic parts to connect the sink drain assembly to the wall was minimal that he would need to supply. Estimated time to do the job was overly generous when he quoted two hours. Shop elsewhere if you have time as I'll wait for our local plumbers to be available for $166 an hour instead of close to $600/hr.

Works Plumbing & Rooter is a very professional company! They were punctual and finished the job in a timely manner but most importantly they clean up after themselves and took the garbage with them!

What a great experience. From start to finish. My call for a toilet backing up into my tub was answered quickly. Work was scheduled within a few hours. Guys showed up did what needed to be done in a quick and timely fashion. They were very neat and clean. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Would definitely use them again!

Mario and Jaran did an outstanding job installing our new tankless water heater. Our old one was making a very loud & disturbing vibrating noise, and unfortunately had reached the end of it's useful life. They were extremely friendly & professional, and worked very hard to finish the big job in a single day. The water did not quite get as hot as we wanted, and when I called Works Plumbing about it Mario came right out the very next day to adjust the temperature up for us. Great company with great customer service!!

My water heater burst, and these guys cleared it out and had a new one installed the next day.

We had a blockage issue with our sewage pipes that was causing sewage water to come back up in the tub, a pretty nasty scene to say the least. The plumber came over, assessed it and proceeded to do his thing. He was amazing with his service after assessing the problem couldn’t be fixed with a snake and had to bring in a high power hydraulic spray. It did the trick. Very attentive and great at explaining everything. I would highly recommend these folks for your issues. He also understood the issue that uniquely affected our street.

What a fantastic service. We are in HMB and called various plumbers and not one of them even answered our calls. I called WP&R at 8am and Ryan was here at within a couple of hours. We received an entire team to come fix our plumbing issue. George, Ray and David all came to our home to fix a clogged shower drain. All three were courteous and professional and fixed our clogged drain very fast. We will definitely be calling them back for any future needs.

Woke up in the morning to a clogged kitchen sink. Worked for a couple hours to fix it but the clog was too far down the main line. Called Works Plumbing around 930 and they offered a same day eval and work between 3-5. About 245 I got a text the tech was on his way. The plumber, Angel arrived at 315 and walked me through everything he saw and recommended. After fixing the problem and testing he then proceeded to give me some recommendations for future work that could be done to reduce chance for clogs. Excellent, professional, quick service. Will be calling Works and asking for Angel if we need future help!

THE MOST DISHONEST/MISLEADING COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I called and asked if they could give me an estimate on what it would cost to do a trench less sewer line from my foundation to the city line. The women that answered the phone said yes. But it would cost 49.00. I said ok no problem. I set it uproar today and took off work to be there. When he got to my house he asked some question about what I needed. Then he told me he would need to use a camera on it and that it would cost 300.00. He couldn't do it right now but he could come back later today or I could schedule it for another day. He said I would still need to pay the 49.00 for today. Which he basically he did absolutely nothing. But that the 49.00 would be applied to the camera job if I use them. TOTAL SCAM. This is what gives plumbers a bad name. Just be honest.

Mario installed two toilets. It was a big job. He stayed many hours to make sure it was done right.

Guy they sent out was great. We had a broken garbage disposal and water was backing up. Technician did a good job. Little on the pricey side if you ask me. But they responded on a Saturday morning, located a new disposal unit and installed it all before noon.
