They offered a coupon for a furnace tune up for $99. Only to find out that was for a water heater. The ad said nothing about water heaters only furnace tune up, yet once they had me on the call it jumped to $199 for my heater furnace. All other ads clearly stated water heater , it felt like this ad was a bait and switch ad to get customers to call in. Be careful
Chris the plumber was professional, personable, and efficient on clearing my slow flushing toilet. He offered me two different methods on how he would unclog my toilet which I thought was great, and cleaned up his work space after he finished. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend Sugar Bear Plumbing.

Ian provided excellent service. I had my toilet and sink replaced. They were hard to install as my floor is not 100% leveled and he also had to carry them a flight up. He installed them professionally, the new sink is stable now and not wobbling like before. Both the toilet and sink are beautifully installed and functioning wonderfully. Ian was also very resourceful, I got the connecting parts for the sink facet was not long enough and he replaced them with the correct new ones. I needed a plumber fast as both my toilets were backed up. I called Sugar Bear and they immediately dispatched a plumber the same day!!! He was at my house exactly as scheduled. Gerber was very nice and polite and knew exactly what to do as soon as I told him what was going on. Our basement sump pump went out in the middle of a crazy storm. There were no sump pumps available at any store around. I called Sugar Bear and they had a sump pump in stock and came out within a couple of hours and replaced the pump. We were thrilled that they responded so quickly as it minimized the damages we had. The scheduler and the plumber were both responsive and professional. We would highly recommend them.

The estimate for the work was hundreds less than other quotes received. Truly thankful for finding this black owned business! This company has to be the worst set of professionals I have dealt with. They had a tech come out to do a diagnosis and did not finished the full diagnostic. Very blunt and had a secret agenda and will give you marked up prices. You will more than certainly find a better HVAC company than this one. Manager was very insensitive to their mess up and will try anyway to put the blame on you, so if it saves you anytime or money do not waste your money with them. More in depth below:
The tech Zach was cool at first seem like he could get the job done, was very charismatic, and when I called to notify him of the missed diagnosis he became defensive and then placed blame on me the client and then try to support the blame with misinformation that he later had to recant. I called Sugarbear plumbing on Tuesday and they offered me service on Wednesday, but due to a conflict I had to put them off until Thursday. They were on time, clean, very well dressed and extremely polite. They repaired a faucet that I tried to repair myself and failed, and they also installed a new garbage disposal, which I believe was also leaking. There was no pressure to buy anything, and I was given an option of several replacement disposals. Ian was very polite and knowledgeable, and had everything fixed and out the door in less than two hours. I highly recommend both the company and their technician Ian, a definite 5 star company.

Our AC required disconnection, being moved and subsequent reconnection during backyard landscaping renovation. the technician’s were courteous and professional.
I was surprised to not receive calls to confirm the appointments though Zach did call while en route for the first appointment. The second appointment, I called to confirm they were coming and found out it had to be pushed back several hours.
Despite this we are quite satisfied with the work.
I also appreciated Zach’s honesty about the newly laid cement being damaged during the AC being bolted down. This allowed for me to have the landscaper fix that area with new cement.

Oddly I had called my regular go-to plumbing company but Lawrence from Sugar Bear showed up and I’m so glad he did! Professional, on time, thoroughly explained what was needed and why, polite, efficient and just plain nice. My drain was horribly clogged and very old, and pipes had been previously welded together. He cleared the clogs, replaced pipes, left me with a clean working bathroom sink!
I highly recommend Sugar Bear and Lawrence!

Great as always. Used Sugar Bear twice. The plumber was friendly and did a great job.
There was a misunderstanding between me and the service guys who came out the first time to do the job. When I called back to complain Lawrence was quick to get somebody out and they took care of the work at no additional charge. There are a lot of trades people out there who wouldn't do that, but the Sugar Bear crew are stand up guys who set things right. I really appreciate and respect that.

Aaron was amazing. Very professional and on time to dot. I had my P-Trap exploded from snaking via unit next door. I called up Sugarbear at like 1:00am and someone picked up. They got all my info and said Aaron would be here the same day at 9:00am to 11:00am the same day. It was great because Aaron called me at 9:00am exactly to let me know he was on his way followed by him getting here at exactly 15 minutes. Aaron with 9 years in the business was very nice and professional and offered me two costs for a complete replacement of all the piping or a just the P-Trap. A great experience to a worrying day. 10/10 would call again.

Sugar Bear has done all of our major and minor repairs in our small apartment complex and we could not be happier with them. They are always professional and do amazing work. Ian fixed our shower and also replaced our water filter system. He was very professional throughout, very clear on what he was going to do and what he was going to do as a follow up. I was very happy with the overall service, from making the initial appointment over the phone with Mia who was very accommodating (I had to change for a later time) to Ian, who not only fixed our shower and filter system, but also made suggestions on what to with our water heater which was 11 years old and has to be replaced. Would definitely use Sugar Bear Plumbing again. Ask for Ian Dela-Cruz!

Sugar Bear plumbing came by yesterday due to a plumbing emergency. The plumber (Chris Smith) was terrific. Extremely courteous, knowledgeable and competent. He diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes, secured a replacement for my hot water heater and installed as necessary. Sugar Bear will be my plumbing go to company.

Our heater went out and it was cold. Turns out two parts failed so it took several days to get everything up and running but Lawrence was very responsive and easy to work with. He was very professional. I would use them again.

Tankless water heater repair, Ian is very professional and knowledgeable, showed up on time and completed with no problems. Fees for waiting for a technician to help with diagnosis were high, over $500, but I was told before any work was preformed.
