Powers Plumbing has completed several projects on our home and all of them done to a high standard and most very cost effectively. They charge by the hour and work efficiently whereas many plumbers charge by the overall job regardless of how quickly they’re finished. We have been very happy with them not only because of the good work but because if there has ever been an issue after they leave, they come back promptly and address it. If they can fix rather than replace, that’s the first thing they try to do. If it’s something that should have been done differently the first time, they work cheerfully and don’t charge. In short, they act like a neighborhood business - one which understands that their long-term reputation is more important than today’s profit. I will use them anytime - as long as the ownership and business practices stays the same. Ive found them to be solid and trustworthy people.

Sergio did an amazing job with my leak issue at my home. He tested everything and was very thorough and knowledgeable about what needed to be done and explained everything to me. Being a Master plumber it was evident he knows what he’s doing.He was very thorough with everything. He even fixed my water heater connection that was done wrong and also made a nice box for my refrigerator water and ice line. He’s super neat and cleaned up great. This company is impossible to work with. They did show up as promised but that is where things started going wrong. They refused to give any price estimates on the job. Just beginning charge of 300$ to open the wall to tell what the rest would cost. I wanted to have them change the fireplace shutoff valve due to suspected leak. because the technician didn't have more than soapy water to test for leaks and the price for the job could not be estimated. I tried asking the technician to estimate the cost of changing the valve. He refused/ his supervisor refused to give pricing to that either. Then I asked the technician to explain how he plans to change the valve.Just for me to get again an idea of the cost. He refused to explain the process. Then he took off.Do not hire this company at least for anything gas related.UPDATE: Next company shows up the next day with proper tools to verify first the leak. Once verified fixed the issue. Wall was not opened this time. Cost was 180$ and on top of that this guy explained how the shutoff valve can be changed without tearing apart the whole house. Much appreciated knowledge for future. Estimate for the fix for the problem before showing up was around 300$.This is how things should work. Understanding of what parts cost and what labor cost per hour. That way if things escalate customer has a way to understand how the cost will scale.This is just to respond to the response below. I hope you will think about the process you have I think open checkbook policy from customer perspective is scam. With those prices and random estimates I would at least expect that company invests to the right tools.

We had broken pipe in kitchen and not any company responded our calls. Then I called EZ Plumbing USA and they came in time and gave the best service. They repaired our pipe immediately and also at affordable rates.

I first used this company to find a water leak and the technician Sal was very thorough and professional. On a different occasion, I called him again and he replied promptly letting me know he could come by the next day. I reached out on that day in the afternoon and got no reply or explanation for not showing up. Was disappointed since I had great service the first time. A call or message would have been appreciated.

So glad the Reviews were legitimate. Had bathroom sink hose burst and flood bathroom and tiled living room about 4 in the morning. Was going to diy until I attempted to remove the hose and the hose broke off the threads on the wall connection. Called community plumbing from the detailed reviews. They arrived when agreed upon and fixed more than I expected since the other wall connection and hose were both looking like they were ready to go also. 5 stars +. Will be sure to call them for any future plumbing issues. Also used higher quality hoses and connectors. So will be returning the inferior parts I bought in the morning for diy.

Had the water main replaced due to a leak.
