Best Plumbing Solution in San Antonio TX

I would recommend getting a second opinion after a quote from this company if the price seems high for the service being proposed, and make sure to ask questions about the work involved to fix your issue. My shower head became almost impossible to turn, so we called Blue Frog Plumbing. The technician told us he knew what needed to be done and it’d be $600. I asked what the part cost and he said about $40, so the rest was labor. Okay, so this must take a while for $520 of Labor right? Wrong. He said it would take as little as 20 minutes but up to two hours if there were problems. So I asked if we could start with a lower price and pay more IF there were problems? He said no and that the price was so high IN CASE problems arose, which does not make sense to me because what if problems didn’t arise? Too bad still $600. We told him we needed to do more research and ended up buying the part ourselves. My boyfriend bought the part and the tool. $60. He has absolutely no plumbing experience and fixed the problem in 25 minutes. I think quoting $600 for a job like this is taking advantage of people. I seriously could not believe they wanted to charge us $600 for a job that could potentially take them 20 minutes. Please get a second opinion before saying yes. Also at Home Depot they said these only need to be fixed every 20 years when the plumber told us we would need to do this every 2-3 years. Be careful and don’t be preyed on.

This company was a first for me and I’m so glad I called them! Karl and his daughter were so kind and he explained everything to me before he did it. I had a toilet issue and he fixed it! The price was so awesome for what he did. I expected it to be so much more than it was. I will always call them first in the future! Thank you for being out there.

The absolute best. BG has helped us change out the inner workings of our toilet, cut into our wall to change out the value for our upstairs bath (to accept a new fixture), and last but not least change out our water heater. Communicating is a breeze and he has always been able to set up an appointment within days of when I request his services. I trust him completely and know that I am not going to get taken advantage of, so I never question what he quotes (versus the price gouging we experienced from Bullfrog one time, right after the recent winter storm).

My only complaint is your are held hostage not knowing the fees and costs until the arrive. Well you do know there is a $30 service fee. I find this unacceptable and overpriced.

Great service. Had two water heaters replaced on a scorching hot day, above the second floor in the attic. Very efficient professional service, can't even tell they were ever in the house, except for the hot water that I now have. Santiago and his crew were extremely professional. I don't hire big plumbing companies very often, because I'm afraid of the price. However I took a chance on these guys, and was very pleasantly surprised!! Our technician's name was Chris Metzger. This guy was very professional and also very down to earth and made me feel comfortable with all the work he did. I needed a hot water heater and a garbage disposal installed in one of my properties. We bought a platinum maintenance checkup program (this covers weekend calls)with Comfort Air. We even bought our current unit with them just in 2010. We had been loyal customers since 2006. We called them Friday afternoon because our AC was not working at all. The tech showed up at my house at 9:30 pm and didn't leave until 11:45 pm just to tell me that he couldn't do anything because Comfort Air needed to order a new compressor for our unit our unit is only 3 years old. The service manager for Comfort Air called me the next day (Saturday) just to tell me that he agreed with the tech that checked our unita NEW COMPRESSOR is needed and will be ordered Monday morning. The compressor was going to be under warranty, however, labor and Freon was at our cost. We decided that we've had enough with Comfort Air techssince every time that they came to do the bi-annual check up a few weeks later something happened with our unit. We decided to call another ac business to get a 2nd opinion (on a sunday). The 2nd opinion was to our surprise a much better responsethe unit only needed Freon. The honest and accurate gentlemen added the Freon and checked for leaks. Once all was repaired the a/c is now working perfectlyNO NEED FOR A NEW COMPRESSOR and added labor expense....Overall--MisleadingQuality--DisappointedService--DisappointedValue--Disappointed

Tito came out this Monday morning to fix my shower cartridge and did a great job. He was better than on time, he was early and got right to work. He knew what the issue was and got it done in a timely manner. Tito also provided education and information on the type of plumbing issues my house has and what I can do to help or fix the situation. 5 stars ⭐️
