Pete was the professional I worked with. Great work! From scheduling to the actual appointment the end to end customer experience was excellent! I appreciate him explaining the issue with my shower which was not working properly and also thankful for the explanation of the different options how to repair. We were first-time users of Anchor Plumbing – a shocking water bill indicated that we had a significant leak somewhere, but we couldn’t find anything in the house or yard that pointed us to the problem. We found the Anchor Plumbing website and liked what we saw regarding scope of services, family-owned business, and positive reviews, and we made a phone call. The service we received was 100% professional and efficient from start to finish, from office to technical staff. The source of the leak was found quickly, and we decided to add on a number of plumbing replacements/upgrades throughout the house that we had wanted to do for a long time. The cost proposal was straightforward and itemized, making it easy to make decisions. They called in a crew of four – big shout out to Dakota, Alex, Dakota (yes, there were two of them), and Sam for all their hard work and expertise. We watched, asked questions, and noted that they use professional-grade parts and appliances. We were so pleased with how the scope of work was tackled, and everything was done quickly and skillfully. Talk about money well-spent! We just want to say thank you for helping us protect our home. While we hope we won’t need their services for a while, Anchor Plumbing will be our first call for any future plumbing needs.
Very happy with my Anchor Plumbing experience. Needed help getting a leaky shower cartridge replaced after struggling to complete the job myself. Tech (Dakota) was here within a couple hours of my calling Anchor, he performed a thorough review of our entire home's plumbing situation and potential needs, presented me with several options for service and pros/cons of each. Ultimately we only went with the shower cartridge replacement due to budget and priority needs. Dakota knocked that out super fast, price was reasonable and now I'll know who to call the next time I've got a plumbing issue. Would highly recommend Anchor for your plumbing needs.
Joseph and Jerson were awesome! They were professional, respectful and thorough. They answered all of my questions (I had a lot!) and gave me recommendations through out the appointment. I was appreciative that they respected my quirky 1950 home and cast iron water main! As the previous Executive Director of the Remodeling Association in San Antonio, i can say with total confirmation, these are your guys for plumbing, and certainly Anchor Plumbing is doing something right in hiring the best plumbers. Had a wonderful experience with Anchor Plumbing today! Their communication was great, with text update and a call when the technician was on the way. They were able to get me in for a same day appointment and the technician, Brandon, was on time, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He fixed my issue (a leaking kitchen sink!) and took a look at some other plumbing items in the house just to check everything out while here. We recently bought the house, so he was able to educate me on several general plumbing items that are good to know as a new home owner and explained what are good items to address now vs later. I asked a lot of questions and he gave detailed explanations about what to look out for in older homes like mine. He was able to fix my issue quickly and for a great price. I also learned a lot in the time he was here! I will be calling them for all of my future plumbing needs!

I thought I had a shower leak because of a water stain on the wall next to the shower enclosure. I called to get an estimate on work needed. A technician, Joseph Gutierrez, came out the same day I called. He was prompt, professional and courteous. He took his time and was very thorough in assessing my issue. He determined the stain was not from a leaky pipe and told me how the problem could be corrected with a trip to a home improvement store and very little cost. I was so pleased. I will definitely use Anchor Plumbing for any future plumbing needs and will ask for Joseph if he is available. I am very satisfied with the outcome of this service and Joseph.

I appreciated everything about this plumbing service while in the middle of a hot water heater crisis. After having no luck calling a few other businesses, the receptionist at Anchor said they could be there in the next four hours and Brandon arrived two hours later. I received both a confirmation text of the appointment and a text describing Brandon with a photo of him. This is amazing. More businesses need to do this. Brandon called to say he was on his way, about forty mins out. Brandon listened empathetically to my concerns and got straight to fixing the problem after explaining the cost and explaining what he would do to fix the leak. Brandon advised me on the next steps (after care, essentially) and helpfully answered all questions. Brandon was professional yet friendly, and effective at his job. Brandon referred me to a business that came out two days later to check for water damage. I appreciate the care and time that Anchor gave during a very stressful day.
I called Anchor 10 am on a Saturday morning after another company I'd scheduled the day before called to cancel. I had a bad leak from the pipe feeding the exterior faucet. I had a small waterfall down the slab of the house and a personal river system in my front yard. Getting a plumber was urgent! Adam, from Anchor, was at my house by 2 pm. He was straightforward with possible issues and prices. Very professional and personable. He did quality work and Anchor will definitely be my first choice the next time I need a plumber.

Adam and his brother texted to let me know they were on the way and arrived within the agreed on time frame. They reviewed the work that would be done (replacement of water pressure reducing valve) as well as potential issues that they might encounter. What I most appreciated was that they took the time to explain things thoroughly and provide education as to the pros and cons of not doing certain repairs. Adam pointed out potential issues with my pressure expansion tank as well as why it is important to the overall function and extended life span of a hot water heater. Both gentlemen were courteous, efficient and professional. The repairs took a bit over 3 hours and they kept me up to date as to their process. They reviewed their company policy of one year parts and labor on their work. I was very satisfied with the job Anchor Plumbing did and will not hesitate to use them again.
I’ve been using Anchor Plumbing for quite a while love them. They’re on site quickly, fix things fast and for a good price. I trust them implicitly and being out of town I need somebody that’s reliable. Anchor plumbing has done a great job for me. I highly recommend them!

I'd like to thank Anchor Plumbing Services for coming out to verify and replace a faulty, builder's grade, Water Pressure Reducing Valve with a better quality valve. Joseph Gutierrez and his apprentice Sam were prompt, patient, and eager to get started. I appreciate their professionalism and expertise. I will not hesitate to recommend Anchor to anyone else in need of plumbing services.
Called in early afternoon to report leaking water heater. Very professional and helpful office personnel. Less than 3 hours later licensed plumber Brandon Adkins & a newly hired licensed plumber arrived on time and began removing old water heater, having already arranged for a new one to be delivered while they were there. Whole service call, to include the new install, from beginning to end was about less than 3 hours. Plumbers very professional, worked diligently, answered my questions. Probably our best plumbing experience ever. Would recommend Anchor without hesitation.
Found a leak under our 2009 water heater. Called and they had a service visit available just an hour later. Around 3 hours later we had a new 50 gallon gas water heater installed and warming up just in time for Thanksgiving. Very professional and easy going bunch. Service wasn't free and I have no idea if they are the most affordable but I don't feel like I got a bad deal whatsoever, especially considering how quickly they were able to help fix my issue!
Mason our plumber was very thorough and knowledgeable. He communicated with us well on what the problem was and what was needed to fix it. We felt we were treated well, were happy with the job and felt it was a good value. We will definitely call Anchor plumbing again when needed, and would recommend them.
Ralph and Pablo came out to help us with some plumbing issues we were having. They were very friendly and took their time in explaining to us the results of their diagnostic tests. They gave us their recommendations on how to move forward with repairs and did an excellent job is replacing our water softener and installing a reverse osmosis system! I highly recommend this company!
The technicians are friendly. However the technicians are more sales persons than plumbers: (1) The $289 diagnosis fee is totally a rip off. The whole diagnosis simply involved opening a tiny hole on dry wall, and poking in a LED camera for some inconclusive images. Anchor Plumbing will refund 50% of this $289 diagnosis fee if they are haired for the project. Apparently, the company uses this $289 fee as bait, so that customers will spend more money with them. (2) the technicians are well trained to take advantage of customer's insufficient knowledge in plumbing and eagerness to have the issues fixed. The technicians saved no effort guiding customers to believe blooming a couple hundred-dollar small repair into thousands of dollars large repair is a better option. Anchor Plumbing has no interest to work on a small project, unless customers accept their inflated proposal. It is clear Anchor Plumbing prioritizes their interest over customer's. Please have a second thought before reaching out to Anchor Plumbing.

Joseph and Gerson did a phenomenal job replacing our water softener. They were efficient and thorough. They both made sure the water tested great and that everything was perfect. They walked me through how to work the softener and how to maintenance it. Really appreciate the time they took to answer all my questions and make sure I was comfortable with the system! It was Plumber Joseph Gutierrez that was assigned to do the home service for us. I was impressed that his knowledgeable in his craft and most especially considerate just doing small this thing without taking advantages to the client (This are hard times). Professional, fast, reliable, and people of good character. We shopped around and receive 4 quotes for our whole house repipe. Only Anchor's (Paul) quote included innovative and less invasive strategies that made the whole project better for our old 1950's home (less internal demolition, though still some). Brandon and Mason were as polite and accommodating as one could ask for, in addition to being highly skilled problem solvers. The huge project that involved replacing the main water line, all pipes in the house, adding a water softener and adding a reverse osmosis filter, happened exactly on the budget and timeline proposed. This despite it being a tricky old house in several ways. I would do it again and recommend them completely.

The gentleman who came were professional, clean, and very respectful. They have a new customer for life. Had Anchor come out to assess a faulty valve. They were the first plumbing company to get back to me and were at my house within 2 hours. They gave me options and I chose to replace the entire box behind the washer. Overall I’m very happy with the work. They left the area clean and even connected my washer and dryer and moved them back for me.
WOW! $65 dollars to quote a job, but the amount will be discounted when you use their service (No problem; I understand this). What I don’t understand is a circa $2,000 (YES, $2,000) quote to uninstall and reinstall three on/off valves and facets! ! Other quotes were $400-$500! It’s reportedly a three hour job! ? $666/hr makes me want to reconsider my profession!We are getting our marble countertops refinished, and removal of hardware was advised, but when the removal of the hardware costs as much as the refinishing that is asinine! Find an alternate provider folks. At minimum, get a couple quotes.Stay well San Antonio!

I had a leak at my home and called Anchor. They diagnosed that I needed a replacement water heater.They gave me 3 estimates. I picked what fit my budget. They accept numerous forms of payment and also have a payment plan available. They began the repair and gave updates on their progress and estimated time they'd finish. I was also impressed that they clean up afterwards!

Great communication with dispatch and technicians. All 3 different service technicians/employees. That came to work on the heater. We’re very professional and knowledgeable and gave great feedback on the new installation. Cleaned after the work was done and disposed of the old water heater. I highly recommend Anchor Plumbing and would definitely give them a call back for my next emergency repair.

I received prompt same-day appointment scheduling for a leaky bathroom faucet. They even bumped my service time earlier on my request when my availability changed. Dakota was very professional in diagnosing my plumbing issue and offered me multiple options to meet my family's needs. I will definitely call them back for any other issues that may arise.

Fast response to initial online request, easy to schedule appointment.But, the phone tech misrepresented the cost of a visit for a diagnostic test. He said the test would be paid for by a standard visit fee of $65, but the test actually cost $300. I ended up paying for it when put on the spot, but wish I was told the real cost of the test in advance as the phone tech knew it was the reason for the appointment. If I had more time to think about it I probably would have declined the test.Also, they originally scheduled me for a Friday afternoon but had to reschedule me due to my plumber not being available. This led to a day without my water on.

We were having issues with our PRV, some drain issues and an issue with our water softener. On the initial visit with Pablo and Jerson, I was informed about all the options to fix the issues I brought to them. I discussed things with my wife, had a couple other companies come out for estimates and ultimately was just a lot more confident with Pablo and Jerson than anyone else we talked to. We were really treated well and with great respect. They did an amazing job, not only fixing everything, but also with educating us on the new products and what was being done in the process. We had an issue with our water pressure and Mason and (I didn’t get the other guy’s name, I’m sorry!) did a great job helping us. They called ahead, arrived on time, were professional, and friendly. It didn’t take much time at all and overall we felt like they made the experience effortless for us. Would highly recommend.
Pros: prompt service. I was able to call and have someone service the leak in the same day. Staff was courteous.Cons: pricing felt like borderline highway robbery. I had a leak just off the water meter. I exposed and discovered the leak, a pvc 90 degree even calling Anchor. I was quoted 65 dollar service fee and 668 dollars... Around 730 total to fix this l the leak. The only reason I agreed to the estimate was I didn't wish to wait another week for someone else to make it out.TLDR: I won't be using these folks again

Installed sink, new faucet and reset toilet. Fixed water hammer in the wall and there were 3 problems causing it…so required some investigation and multiple solutions. Professional, conscientious and diligent. Pleased with Anchor Plumbing and whole heartedly recommend!

Replaced master bath toilet after eighteen years. Joseph Gutierrez and asst are excellent. Three or four years ago they changed out the water heater. Already have plans for other two toilets and disposal after first of year. Big shout out also to the young lady answering the phone and starting the whole process. We had an issue with air and gurgling noise from the bathroom sink drain. Brendan and Mason came to check it out and determined it was the A/C drip pan line that needed to be looked at, and that it was not a plumbing problem. They actually talked to our A/C tech to make sure our A/C guy was aware and could address the specific issue. Both Brendan and Mason were professional and courteous, and took the time to make sure the problem was addressed. We greatly appreciate the time and effort they put into this service call.

We called Anchor Plumbing for an estimate and they called us back an hour after stating that Henry would be at our house within 1 hour. Henry and a coworker arrived on time and gave us estimates for several jobs we needed to get fixed. We thought their estimates were reasonable and fair. We asked when they would be available to start the work and Henry responded right now if you would like, we were surprised and pleased and we agreed. They installed and hauled away a new water softener. They supplied and installed a new garbage disposal and new backyard hose bit. They attempted to install an ice maker “in line” but due to an issue with our refrigerator this was not possible. We were also pleased that they had all of their supplies and equipment with them. They were efficient, knowledgeable and we would definitely use them again.

My kitchen sink was clogged and there's only so much we can do, before we needed to call in the pros. The kitchen sink drain was cleared quickly and the entire drain/pipe was inspected using a video inspection camera.We also needed a new water heater, he gave us a fast estimate and explanation of work. Ralph helped us get a new water heater installed the same day! When our water heater developed a leak, we took the opportunity to change out the water softener and get soft water in both hot and cold water in the house. We called several companies, got two bids and on the basis of those bids and the Yelp reviews of Anchor, decided to go with them. We could not be more pleased with the service and the outcome. I decided to get a second opinion on some plumbing work that I was quoted earlier this week from another company. Not only did Anchor offer a better price, but also did much of the service the same day. Their team is knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating and explains the issues clearly to have me, the customer (who doesn't know much about plumbing but plenty about pricing) understand the true cost, both dollar value and to my plumbing system and each fix. I greatly appreciate the service I received and will be using their services again.

Pete and his assistant (I didn’t catch his name) came to my home to fix a leak in the yard caused by another contractor (not a plumber). They were both professional and knowledgeable. My issues were repaired promptly and correctly. I appreciate their speedy service, same day even though they weren’t called out until approximately 11 am
I rarely write up a review on any social platform; however, this was an exception. I recently experienced a dreaded homeowners issue that originated outside my water meter over this past weekend and did not help when the city is in stage 1 water restrictions. I did (not) have a good plumber contact. After doing a few search web browsing inquiries, and I stumbled across 'Anchor Plumbing Services'. Based on historical reviews from satisfied customers, I figure I would give it a try. I contacted Anchor Plumbing Services number and Liz received my call. She scheduled me after explaining my dilemma and would receive a text and would receive a courtesy call from the technician.Henry and Taylor the Dream Team arrived on time. I explained the situation where the leak near the water meter was originating. Both technicians knew how to administer this issue. These two went out their way to complete an additional assessment by verifying other major components requiring attention (i.e. Pressure Regulator Valve, customer shutoff valve replacement and corroded pipe near the water softener). I really appreciate this very much! Anchor Plumbing Services personnel demonstrates are always looking out for homeowners best interest by (not) having homeowner go through an unfortunate circumstances. These two are experts in this field. These two are willing to provide education to customers and are open to answer any questions a homeowner may have. After the repairs were completed, there were no more leaks and the pressure to the house was better than ever.In terms the overall estimate of the repairs, it was really reasonable. I am willing to ask for their services again in the foreseeable future. There’s always some uncertainty about choosing a plumber but I need not have worried. The Anchor Plumbing Services team quickly eliminated any concerns. From the initial contact to the end of the job, the team was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Anchor Plumbing was great! I really appreciated the same day service and how clean they left our house after the work was finished. The technician, Joseph, was very knowledgeable, polite, professional, and took care of our kitchen drain pipe that was clogged from years of grease buildup. Dakota & Clayton were incredibly professional & knowledgeable!! They found me after my house that I just moved into <5 days ago started leaking water through the floor when I walked on it. Called at 1020 and lucked into a 12-4 service window same day. Got a call at 1120 they were on the way. Brandon and his partner were polite, professional and ready to get the job done. I had a leak in my water service line as it came into the house (that was repaired about 18 years ago). Price was reasonable and I authorized the work. Within 10 minutes they find the last repair was not done as described and was the cause of this leak. By 1pm they were done and I was back in business.It's hard to trust a lot of businesses now days and plumbing is even harder but now I know who will be my first and only call in the future!

My water pressure, quality is beyond outstanding and the work physically is clean and not sloppy, the quality of materials and workmanship genuinely show. Fast service! Technician removed and replaced my garage disposal but did not provide the hex wrench used to free the garbage disposal if it jams. Also, did not explain about the reset button. I called about the wrench and was told to just use Allen wrench so I guess I will have to pay extra to get this wrench when my disposal jams.

Brandon Adkins was dispatched to our house within the given scheduling time frame. He came up with a plan within 10 min and gave options on how to approach the repair. We discussed it and I approved the installation of a new water heater. The repair was done very professionally and quicker than I had expected. The longest time it took was to go get the heater. Worked was perform in a timely matter and tech was very courteous and professional. Not the cheapest, but I have used twice with good results. However, the water meter / shutoff box lids were not put back on.

I called Anchor for a leaking water tank. To my surprise, we received same-day service, which is rare these days. Dakota came to the house as scheduled and provided several estimates. Paul joined Dakota and replaced both 50-gallon tanks, bringing them up to code. Paul also fixed a leak in the sprinkler system as he was adjusting the water pressure, with nothing additional out-of-pocket. Called Anchor at 8. Had someone at the house to check it out at 8:30 and had a brand new water heater fully installed 2 hours later. Extremely impressed with the professionalism and response of this team.
The original appointment we had was pushed back a day because our technician was on a job that became larger than anticipated. No sweat, I get that things like that happen. The next day our technician showed up first thing in the morning and got to work. Nice guy, explained everything, quoted me the price before repairing anything so I knew what to expect. He found the clog and cleared it. He also recommended a product we can use to help minimize clogging in the future. We had another plumber quote us several weeks ago for the same service and this was less expensive so that is also good. I’ll use Anchor again in the future.

Watch out for these guys. They put on the high pressure sales tactics and charge very high prices for their products. I wish I had done more research before going with their quote. We're moving into a new home and have so much work to get done. In hindsight, I felt pressured to do the job today and make a decision on the spot. Now I feel like I got taken. Nothing wrong with the work itself from what I can see, but you can definitely find a better value somewhere else. I'll be looking for a company that doesn't make me feel like I'm being pressured into a purchase next time.

Wow! We are throughly impressed with Anchor Plumbing! As soon as we called in for a sink drain backup we were quickly scheduled. We were texted a photo of the technician assigned to our job, along with a brief bio on the technician and his contact information. Our technician, Pete, called us along the way with exact arrival times. From fantastic communication, orderly and clean working environment, and most importantly taking the time to thoroughly explain not only the problem, but also how to avoid it from happening in the future. After the work was completed we were sent a detailed email with the summary of the work, along with plenty of photos. I had a problem with the recirculating pump for my tankless water heater. Spoke to Liz at Anchor and she scheduled me for the same day. I was appreciative that she asked if I wanted the technicians to wear masks during the visit. Henry and Clayton showed up during the scheduled time, listened to my explanation, and then took a look at the issue. I was impressed that they used a team approach with other plumbers using video to discuss back and forth what the issue was and the best way to resolve it. Henry explained the issue to me and then provided several options to fix it, along with the cost. Once I selected the option, Henry and Clayton got right to work and finished the job in good time. After completion, they walked me through what they had done and recommended several actions to keep things working for as long as possible. A solid job by all at Anchor from start to finish!

I initially called last night and it went to a voicemail but I did not leave a message. I received a call back so I was pleasantly surprised. I got service the next morning! My disposal got replaced by a guy I found on thumbtack... HUGE MISTAKE! I had water all over the place and I called him but he never called me back. I'm telling you all from experience... do NOT use this app to hire individuals that are not licensed or insured! Thanks to Anchor Plumbing, not only did they correct the issue I had, but they also connected the dishwasher tube that was never connected by that guy. Thank God I didn't use the dishwasher! I had a non-working toilet in my home office and called Anchor with the hopes that I could get the toilet either repaired or replaced. Joseph was sent out to give me an estimate, and then the very next morning he performed the job. (Yay!) I am very pleased to have had this gentleman as my technician. He was timely, professional, and patient. He explained all of my options and answered all of my questions. He was even very patient when I had sticker shock (the initial quote changed significantly because the flange issue was not discovered until the old toilet was removed). Joseph once again explained my options. Overall, I do believe that Anchor treated me fairly in the pricing. Ultimately, I ended up having the toilet, water cut-off, and flange replaced. Joseph and his co-worker brought the toilet, removed the old toilet (and even disposed of the old toilet), and left everything clean (all in a very reasonable time frame)! I truly appreciate it when technicians come to my home or place of business and treats the environment with care, and Joseph did exactly that.Based on my experience, I highly recommend Anchor plumbing.

I called this morning for a toilet leak and technicians Pete and Clayton arrived this afternoon. They were informative, courteous and professional. We moved into a home that had crazy water pressure, which caused a lot of other problems. Initially, we tried to fix the issue ourselves, but after about a month, we found a small leak and figured it would be best to go with a professional. I put out a message on Yelp, and Anchor responded right away. I arranged a time for someone to come out THAT morning, and within a couple hours, they fixed the leak and replaced the extension tank on our water heater (faulty, thanks to the pressure issue and lack of maintenance by the previous homeowners).What I really appreciated was how knowledgeable both gentleman were, and how they took the time to really explain things. These guys are AWESOME!!! Noticed my yard was saturated in water around my water meter, so I called SAWS, who informed me that I had to call my own plumber...WHO HAS THEIR OWN PLUMBER?? I called Anchor, and CLAY & ADAM showed up (quickly and ON TIME!). These guys were GREAT! VERY PROFESSIONAL, they showed me exactly what was wrong, and took the time to CLEARLY explain what caused my leak and the best options available for me. Not only did they fix my problem, they installed a much better and more durable solution than what my home builder had utilized, and even helped me obtain 0% financing to help me out on the billing!!! We had an unusually large water bill and needed to find out if we had a leak. Dakota arrived as scheduled and did a thorough inspection of our plumbing and detected a minor leak in a toilet and also that our water softener was no longer working and a few other problems. He offered several options for service and did not pressure me to choose any specific one. He and his team (Joseph and Alex) went right to work and completed everything that day. They walked me through everything that was being done and when they were complete walked me through again to show me what was done. I was highly satisfied with everything and will call Anchor Plumbing again should the need arise.

I had a small leak for years inside my wall attaching to my softener that I discovered. Matthew and Joseph were great. Came within 2 hrs of my call. They were both very professional and explained what was needed and gave me an upfront quote. They had to leave to get a part. Came back, completed the job and were done within 2 hours. Cleaned up the area and referred me to a company to fix the rotted wood and drywall. I will definitely use this company again. I didn’t get another quote to compare. I think they may have been on the high side but you pay for what you get. I’ve learned that the hard way!
The service techs who came out to the house were very professional and were able to solve our 'under-the-kitchen-sink' issue quickly. Plus, they were open on a Saturday. I emailed or texted the company early Saturday morning and they came out that same day. The team came out again to do a faucet install; all has worked great ever since. I highly recommend Anchor!
I submitted a request by contact form late at night and received a phone call early the next morning. The plumber was dispatched for a timeslot within a couple hours of the phone call. I had them do diagnostic work based on info I had been given by another company that I had some doubts about. I felt the Anchor plumber knew what he was doing and provided better information at a better price than the previous company.

Anchor was able to send a plumber within a window that worked for my schedule and they were communicative and punctual showing up on time. Water filter unit installed. New one purchased through Anchor Plumbing. Henry Saucedo did a fantastic job and answered all my questions and took his time to do the installation and check for any possible leaks. Adam was amazing! He and Chris responded quickly and were very professional and courteous. It was an older house but they were able to get the new water heater and pressure regulation valve installed and our house back up and running. When the new heater came with a broken part, Adam went back to the office and came back THAT night (it was a Friday) to make sure we had hot water again. I can’t say enough great things about the professionalism and quality of work they provided and the ability to finance the repairs can’t be overstated. Our water heater started leaking and we called another Plumbing Company who was referred to us and they were very unprofessional. They stated that is they cause water damage to our loft trying to remove our old water heater that they would not be responsible for it and that we would need to take care of it ourselves. They also overcharged us according to their package deals. Feeling uneasy about the situation, the next morning when they were supposed to come over, I cancelled the installation. I then found Anchor Plumbing and they came out right away!! It was night and day with their costumer service, knowledge, and care for cleanliness within our home. I would highly recommend asking for Dakota and Clayton. They were fast, respectful of our home, and very knowledgeable. And the best part of it all is that we saved $700!!! My repairman, Joseph Gutierrez, arrived sooner than I had expected and was I ever grateful. I had had a pipe leak for at least a week or more in a pipe that I didn’t know existed. We have lived in our home since the mid ‘80s. Joseph asked me some questions about said leak and then gave me an estimate. It was much higher than I had expected. He explained that his company follows all government codes and is licensed. Joseph alleviated any concerns by showing pictures of the parts he would use and explaining the procedure like a plumbing doctor or should I say Master Plumber. He worked outside in the sun with 90 plus degrees. Neither the sun nor the heat affected his jovial demeanor nor his expertise. Joseph had my smiles and my trust. He even helped me install my Flume at no cost. Plumber arrives on time in sweltering heat and exhibits a pleasant expression with aplomb and still professional. What a godsend! I recommend Anchor Plumbing and especially, especially Joseph Gutierrez.

We discovered a leak over the weekend and called Anchor based on previous customer's reviews. I'm really glad we did. Anchor was responsive, received a call within 10min for an appointment. They were very accommodating and worked to get us an early time. I received a text with our journeyman licensed plumbers name, Brandon A. and that he was on his way. Brandon called letting us know he was en route. He was at our door within the 2hr window given by Anchor. Responsive and follow through on what they say. Brandon was friendly, professional, thorough in locating the leak, explained all his actions and asked for our permission to proceed with repairs. We are very pleased with his work and knowledge, grateful for guys like him who take pride in their work and enjoy what they do. Our bathroom tub handle broke and the water wouldn’t not turn off. Looked on YELP for a plumber, contacted Anchor at 9am, Brandon and Mason were at my house by 10am. Called Anchor plumping to help with a leak by our water meter and our low water pressure issue. We previously had a different company come out and they scammed us out of 700 dollars and there was no change in our water pressure, so we were cautious about calling another plumber. But, Khameron Joseph came out and immediately identified the leak and the source of our poor water pressure. He fixed everything in 2 hours and we could not be happier with the experience. Unfortunately I can’t remember the names of the crew who repaired our pressure valve regulator but they were fast and professional. I have used Anchor twice now for a tank flush and basic plumbing inspection. I also needed two faucets serviced today that were not flowing any water. Dakota and Alex came by today, and were super courteous and knowledgeable and they worked quickly and quietly. They were kind enough to love on my dog for a few minutes on their way in and out too. ? ?Anchor has an efficient scheduling system with online functionality and text reminders/updates. Before our visit, we received a text and a phone call with a picture and the name of our Technician. 15 minutes before an appointment, Henry S. called to verify that someone was going to be at the address and inform me he was on the way. Anchor plumbing has been a fantastic find for me. A few years ago, I was having trouble in my new house discovering the source of an offensive odor in my bathroom. The home builders plumbing service came out several times and couldn't locate the problem. They came out so much they eventually told me any additional calls for the problem would not be covered under my home warranty. I found Paul with Anchor Plumbing when searching for a master plumber to come and diagnose the issue. He found what was going on in about 10 minutes and was able to provide me with video proof of his finding which I used to force the builder to pay for Paul's services as well as finally get the repairs I needed. I even had the builder pay for Paul to come out as an independent plumber after the repairs to ensure it was completed properly. Recently Anchor plumbing replaced my pressure reducing valve on the home. I put in a request at about 5 PM to come out and check on low water pressure in my home and they were out at 9 AM the next morning to diagnose and address the issue. They have wonderful professionalism and take the time to ensure you understand what's happening for those of us with low plumbing IQs. I will always use and recommend Paul and Anchor Plumbing in the future.

I called Anchor Plumbing for a second opinion on a previous company’s work. The whole experience was professional and put me at ease from the beginning with scheduling! They arrived in a timely manner and were able to detect the issue within 10 minutes of arriving. I did not have a broken pipe, the previous company’s snake was protruding out of the vent on my roof. The two gentlemen that came to my home were very professional. They changed out four bathroom sink faucets and cleaned out a slow draining bathtub. The price to change out each faucet was higher than I had anticipated at $275 per faucet. I would suggest shopping around for lower prices on the faucets being replaced. But overall, I am very satisfied with the end result. The faucets look very nice. They cleaned as they did their work so I didn't have a mess left behind.

Clear stoppage with pull and reset and auger. First time customer and won’t go elsewhere anymore! Texted them late in a panic and by 7am the next day, Jared was calling to ask what we needed and say that he could send someone out within 2 hours! He sent out someone from 9-11 and Pete Katauskas showed up at 9am sharp! They sent us his pic beforehand, so we knew who to expect. I called at 7:45 and they were here by 9:00 on the same day even though this was a NON-emergency job. The were very professional and respectful. They listened to our description of the issue and the steps we had taken to attempt to resolve the problem. They immediately diagnosed the problem and presented a couple of options. They explained my options and answered all my questions regarding repair, installations and warranties. The install was guick, they were respectful of my home and left the work area clean. Should the need arise, I will definitely be calling on them again.Update: Jan 4, 2022, Had the pros from Anchor come out to replace the pressure reduction valve. Recommend the use of BioClean monthly to help prevent the build-up of grease in the drain lines.

2021-10: Used them today for additional services, I needed an outdoor faucet replaced and Adam P was great at explaining to me everything he was going to do and performed the job wonderfully. Our appointment was set quickly after the winter storm. Dakota and Alex were our technicians and they were both so friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I have had a doozie of a time with plumbing issues at my residing home and rental. These guys have been so awesome and professional when it comes to timing, explaining and pricing. I've had the pleasure of Henry And Brandon working at my properties. These guys know there work and dont mind getting dirty. Brandon fixed a busted main water valve outside my rental and was already at it when I met him at the home. Had a GREAT experience with Anchor Plumbing today in my new house! Dakota and Mike took care of everything on our list for a reasonable price for all that work! (Replaced 4 toilets, installed a new shower head & fancy kitchen faucet, as well as installed a brand new water softener!Their team was prompt, professional & hard working. First thing this morning, they called to let me know when they would arrive (helped a lot because we were meeting at the property we don’t live in yet). And I really appreciated the way they were able to answer all my questions about the softener, but it basically will run itself! We discovered a nasty clog in our hall bathroom that traditional plunging was not able to remedy. We called Anchor and they were able to get us on the schedule for the next morning. Dakota and Mason arrived on time that morning and starting assessing the issue. They presented us with a few options on how to handle the problem. They got the problem resolved quickly and made sure we understood what they did to fix it once they were done. They even took the time to rescue a lost dog in our neighborhood that they found next to their truck (not even kidding)! I definitely recommend them!

They continue to show up for us time after time, taking care of problems from small to large, always with excellent customer service. If we have a plumbing problem, we always know who to call!
Pete and Taylor were very professional and did a very nice job diagnosing our leak, working out an effective plan and executed it in a satisfying way. And they were always on time and went out of and beyond their way to clean up after the job was done. Pete also responded very thoroughly with lots of patience whenever we had any questions on site or even off site by text messages. They will be the first one to call if we ever have any plumbing issue again in the future.
My husband was leaving early this morning for a doctor appointment and when he opened the garage door!! broken water heater was flooding the floor and all the cardboard boxes sitting on it! He had to leave me to it so I immediately called Anchor Plumbing and talked to Paul who said he would send some guys out asap and he did!!!! This was my first plumbing service since I moved to San Antonio and I’m glad I found Anchor because I had an excellent experience. My garbage disposal cracked and needed to be replaced. I was able to get a same day appointment and immediately received a text confirmation for my appointment.Adam was my plumber for the service which I received a text notification with his picture and a background on Adam’s work experience and interests along with a confirmation that he was on his way to my property.Adam was excellent and quickly assessed the damage and kindly talked through what happened and educated us on what often causes that kind of issue and how to prevent it in the future.We were presented with a few options for replacement with clear descriptions and straight forward pricing along with each option. Adam gave great examples and use cases for the different options, which took a lot of the guess work out of the decision.Beyond replacing our garbage disposal, Adam gave us an estimate on toilet replacements and took a look at our water softener without hesitation when we requested.With the quality work and service I received along with the clear and frequent communication with Anchor , I would absolutely trust them with any future plumbing issues that I hopefully don’t have.

I had a great first experience with Anchor Plumbing today. Pete and Khameron were both very professional and informative while installing a PRV for me and never made me feel like I was asking a stupid question. I will definitely be asking for their help again next time were having any issues with our plumbing.
I really enjoy working with this company for several reasons. My wife and I are full time houses buyers. As I'm sure you can imagine, We buy any situation often times we have foundation lifts and there is always a plumbing issue. Anchor sent me Chris Metzger, we clicked, unfortunately for me our property had to get lifted and all the plumbing broke. We've had other issues at rentals as well. All gets handled by these guys. We've now worked with Alec, Pete, and today Daniel. Sometimes we don't like that plumbing cost money, however, it's always worth the money when you have professionals like Chris, Alec, Daniel, and Pete. Our garbage disposal stopped working, and water was building up in the sink when we ran our dishwasher. Called Anchor Plumbing because they were close and highly-rated. The technician (Pete) was here within an hour. He clearly explained the issue and quickly replaced the broken unit. The price for everything was right in the range of what I was expecting to have to spend. It took about 2 hours total from when I called them to when Pete left. Very happy with Anchor Plumbing, and though I hope I don't need to use them again any time soon, they will be my go-to for future plumbing issues!

The technician repaired a recurring valve problem in visitor toilet. He also tested water pressure and I was told that the pressure valve was allowing higher than normal pressure into the house and needed replacing. The tech worked hard and did a good job of digging up the valve and replacing the the soil so the area was well repaired. He showed me the old and replacement valve. The job was well done. One less item to blow out on a weekend. Well done Henry S.
My garbage disposal completely stopped working after about a few weeks after moving in, and Dakota came out right on schedule and replaced it for me. Anchor Plumbing functions very quickly and efficiently, and Dakota’s customer service is very welcoming. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
Anyone who's had to order plumbing services knows what a crapshoot it can be. I can say with 100% honesty that Anchor - specifically, Brandon and Adam - delivered one of the best experiences I've ever had. I was able to get work scheduled same day, they were very prompt, VERY professional, were able to fix the issue at an affordable rate, and on top of all that, went out of their way to give me several tips on how to keep things running well with my plumbing, even without asking. I called to have a outdoor hose bib repaired, but in diagnosing the problem they found a much bigger problem with the water pressure. I knew from another plumber that the valve may be going out, but they didn’t diagnose it like Anchor did. It was more money than I wanted to have to pay right now but it wasn’t Anchor’s fault. The price was fair for what I had to get done. The plumber Adam and his assistant (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch his name) were very nice and patient with a non-handyman. I would totally recommend them to family and friends. I have a new plumber if I need one. Thank you Anchor Plumbing!

Anchor Plumbing did a stand up job replacing our water softener after the old one broke down. We called at 7:30am and Dakota and team came out by 11am. Seriously impressed by how effortless it was and everyone was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Anchor plumbing and will definitely use them again for any future needs.
Adam was very professional and knowledgeable when it came to anything plumbing related, he was able to diagnosis my issue and have a repair plan almost right away. He even gave so advice to prevent issues in the future. My window to for them to arrive was between 12-4pm and they were able to move me up to a closer time and took care of the repair quickly so I could return to work and have water in my house.
Liz at Customer Service was courteous and fortunately able to schedule me quickly for a leaky water heater problem. Dakota & Taylor were diligent, knowledgeable, & did their work thoroughly. Our Pressure regulator stopped functioning; I had used Anchor Plumbing back in 2018 for a small repair. I remembered being pleased with their work and decided to call them again. Since COVID , I wasn't sure how plumbing service companies were fairing when it came to customer service and reliability.Within minutes of contacting Anchor Plumbing through their website I received a call and was scheduled for the same day. I was impressed with Adam and his professionalism. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient . Not only did we have the pressure regulator replaced; but added the pressure expansion tank and a Water Softening System. All the equipment installed was of professional grade and quality. The old system had (stopped working in 2017), was hauled away and the new equipment installed in a very timely manner.There were no pressure pitches; or salesy gimmicks. Adam answered my numerous questions honestly and educated me in the process. I was able to get a system that met the needs of our home; and have the option to add on later on as our funds allow.Finally, I can say we found a neighborhood plumber we can rely on and trust.
I want to be clear about my review: of Adam vs the Company.I called on Sat Jan 22nd. Lady answering phone was very professional and courteous. Called around 1030 and Adam was assigned the jobAdam was very professional and knowledgeable and seemed very trustworthy. Showed up around 1200, assessed the situation, found the leak and ultimately fixed the issue.What I did not like was that Adam had to go outside to his truck numerous times during the repair to check in with the shop. Those were his instructions from the company. It seemed very shady and almost like used car sales tactics of I have to talk to my manager. There should be no reason that Adam had to go outside to talk to the company. Why couldn't he talk to them in front of me? What's so secretive? That is not transparent. It's shady. Customers are already skeptical of the repair industry tactics whether it's car repair, appliance repair or roof repair and getting gouged for unnecessary repairs. If you really want to establish trust with customers, have the technician call the company in front of us and put it on speaker so we can hear everything. It seems as if Adam could had said we have problem A and was told to charge for problem A and B (which I don't think he did but still). I told all of this directly to Adam's face, so this is not anything new to him, and he understood what I was saying and told me that his instructions are to check in with the company to let them know what he found, how long he is going to be, how much he could charge me, etc... I could see if he did it once but he did it multiple times. I would say maybe 4-5 times over the course of 3 hours. Again, just seemed shady on behalf of the company to tell the workers to constantly check in.I was split on this rating which is why I gave them a 3.

I called Anchor Plumbing to come out and fix an issue with my water softener. They were able to get me in within a day and sent out Brandon. Brandon was not only punctual, but he explained everything very well and went above and beyond to make sure the installation was done correctly. He left it better than when it was first installed!

Thank God that there are honest hard-working people who know what they’re doing. Dakota and Matt were awesome, came out on time, and finished the job on time and most importantly they exceeded my expectations.Paul, I told your son to tell you that he did a damn good job and that you should be proud of him. The initial work performed was done by a one-man shop who was way in over his head. After a week of struggling these boys came out and fixed it in less than three hours.

We recently had to call for plumbing issues due to low water pressure, knocking pipes in the walls and our sprinkler system would not work after having a sprinkler system specialist fix a leaking underground water pipe. We called Anchor Plumbing and on the same day Dakota came out and replaced the pressure regulator within a very short time! Dakota was very professional, friendly and courteous. He set our expectations so as to have no surprises. Our water pressure is now high; we don’t have any more knocking in the walls from the pipes and our sprinkler system is now back up and running again! Thank you Dakota! So I've used Anchor Plumbing at least 4 times over the past 2 years for various plumbing issues, and they're consistently on time and helpful. I tried other plumbing services before this and they just don't compare, in terms if professionalism or actual solutions.This time around I had Dakota and Alex come in to diagnose a arrange smell and they did a phenomenal job helping me figure it out without having to bust out expensive tests. I'm a fan of conservative treatment if it will get the job done. I recommend them fully with all the power that a Google review can possibly wield.
I can't recommend Anchor Plumbing enough! Henry and Taylor are absolutely wonderful. They're friendly, professional, and incredibly competent! Each time they come out I feel like they've gone above and beyond to fix our issues. They've been able to figure out some weird faucets we have in our house, replaced a hot water heater, installed a water softener, repaired several other faucets, unclogged several weird drains and installed a toilet. Most recently, they came to repair some pipes that burst during the freeze. My neighbor actually had an appointment the week after the freeze with another plumbing company that she didn't end up needing and offered to send the plumbers over to our house instead of cancelling her appointment. I declined this very kind offer because I would rather have waited to get Henry and Taylor out than go with someone else. That's how much we love Anchor Plumbing!!

Im happy to write the following about my recent experience with Anchor Plumbing. My father In-law has recently used Anchor plumbing, Brandon Adkins was dispatched to his residents and showed how attentive and professional he was to my in-Laws. 12hrs from this post we had a possible leak at our residence. My father In-law told me to contact Brandon and right away he answered my call and started to organize his schedule to fit me in. He arrived promptly at the appointment time the following morning and proceeded to find and cap our leak. His goal was for us to have running water before leaving. He was even able to dispatch help and Alex arrived within a short amount of time. We are happy that our plumbing issues are being taken care of by ANCHOR PLUMBING SERVICES.

Our plumber was Pete and he was fantastic. Thoroughly explained everything and provided options. Answered all of my questions fully, honestly, and candidly. Offered (but never pressured) other services they provide. Will be thinking it over and most likely going to be calling for their service again.
Brandon and Pete exceeded our expectations and set a new bar for excellent service and professionalism. They showed up time, with masks, and were super friendly and respectful. We had a water softener installed and they went above and beyond adding a shut off valve that wasn’t there before and making a much improved custom drain line so as to avoid problems in the future that can occur with the cheesy drain line that comes with softener unit. They did a great job cleaning up and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

I had a leak in my water heater. From the time I called to when the the job was complete the service was excellent. I called on a Thursday afternoon and the unit was replaced by noon the next day. We called Anchor Plumbing Services because of a problem we ran into when replacing a toilet with the toilet flange. Adam arrived at our house and only performed work that we needed done versus additional work others might have charged me for. Anchor Plumbing sent us appointment reminders. They also sent information that included who would be coming over to perform the repair and experience,licenses held, etc. He communicated the reason for the work he was performing and also gave us so much more information on preventative maintenance to avoid future plumbing issues. Dakota and Alex did a great job and kept everything clean. Everything looks better and works better than original equipment. I called Anchor to provide a second opinion and estimate for a water heater replacement that was necessary for the sale of my house to proceed. Not only were they courteous and on time, they were honest about the work that needed to be completed. Anchor was clearly more professional than the outfit sent by my home warranty company, so I opted to pay out of pocket 100% for Anchor’s service and be reimbursed partially by the home warranty company. Worth every penny! Over the course of about 3 hours, these guys were able to come give me an in-person estimate and totally replace the water heater. They even helped out with a couple of other things that I know they could have charged me for, but didn’t. 100% will recommend and use in the future. Special thanks to Paul and Dakota!

base on the service i received from Anchor.guys smelled like cigarette smoke pretty bad but i have an indoor dog so the smell was tolerable.the price was a bit high in my opinion. i understand this pandemic is raising the prices for certain services, so i just paid. 2 hours or work cost me about 650.00 but the job pays out 6? at 100hr.idk, i needed the leak fixed.the quality of work..soldering the flux to weld the copper into the threaded valve on a simple 3 port valve. as long as it doesn't leak. I'm fine.overall the guys were on-time. got the part conveniently nearby. installed the valve. and fixtures around 2hrs. had i known that the installation was going to be pretty quick and easy, i would have not switched my schedule. overall clean up was ok. i vacuumed a bit but not upset because I had to.would i call Anchor again in the future. yes. only because i won't do the work myself and chance springing a leak and insurance would be costly. that's why they are licensed. would be nice if these guys can tape n float afterwards. but i am pleased with the results and glad i don't have to share my bathroom with the kids. thanks again Anchor PS. i will be calling if something else is needed.
We have used Anchor twice. Scheduling is great! Brandon and Adam worked great together fixing a broken sewer line. They were very polite and most of all very professional. Another time Brandon fixed our clogged bathroom drain and broken drain line under our home. Him and Alex worked very well together, and again very professional, courteous, and efficient! Our garbage disposal started to leak about 36 hours before we were scheduled to go on vacation. I was in a panic that I'd have a leaky mess or that I'd have to cut off the water (not ideal because I had a pet sitter scheduled to care for our pets while we were away). Anchor totally saved me!We filled out an online inquiry at 6pm on a Wednesday and got an instant reply and an invitation to call. They answered and got us all set for a Thursday afternoon appointment with Pete.Pete arrived well within the scheduled window on Thursday and took care of our disposal easily. He let us know what was going on, explained our options for replacement clearly, and then went to work. We let him do his thing and by the time he let us know he was finished, everything had already been tidied up and returned to his truck. The disposal and sink looked great and have been working well since then.As a side note, our cats hate most strangers but they all gathered around to watch Pete work - I think that says a lot about Pete!

He replaced it in the pouring rain even restoring the water pressure back to our home. I called Anchor and they were able to come within just a couple hours. Brandon and Pete showed up, all I can say is WOW! I am so pleased with them. They fixed a silly problem I had been having with our new shower heads for the last 6 months, in 10 minutes. And fixed one of the toilets. Anchor plumbing is the best! We brought them a crazy project idea and they brought it to life. They were kind, creative, hard working, and extremely professional. We will 100% use them in the future.
Initially called because I thought I had a leak in my guest bathroom wall. Dakota and Alex determined, after doing a thorough inspection, there wasn't a leak, what I was hearing was normal drainage. While I had them here I asked them to fix my broken disposal and take a look at my rocking toilet. Come to find out the builder (new build house - 2 years old) screwed up installing my toilet initially. The flange was installed too high and not at floor level. It would have never sat steady no matter how much it was bolted to the ground. They fixed the problem and installed it how it should have been done in the first place. They took several photos and documented everything so that I could provide a report to the warranty department. If I could give 10 stars I would. They were absolutely wonderful and so professional. I will be using them again should a need arise and I will be recommending them to everyone I know.
It's not often you can say that was an excellent experience when you have to have a water heater replaced. Paul was so quick to return my request for a very informal quote and process for an appointment. We set a time and the team was early. They were very professional and knew right away what the issue was. I definitely needed a new water heater and they got it done. I was able to get a better brand than I had as well. I feel the price was very fair considering all that was involved. They were efficient and cleaned up everything when they left. I am very pleased and I will for sure be calling them for any future plumbing issues. Call them! You will not regret it!

Brandon and Pete responded quickly when I called today and took care of our sewer back-up issue quickly, and described the issue in detail to us and how to avoid future issues. They also enthusiastically agreed to do a last-minute hose bib fix we asked about while they were here. They were very knowledgeable, professional, polite, and did a great job. This is our second time using Anchor services. We will most definitely use them again in the future for any plumbing issues!
Anchor Plumbing has done several jobs for us in the past year, including installing a LeakBreaker water heater safety alarm. When the alarm went off a few nights ago, the system worked as it was supposed to and shut down our water heater to prevent damage. I called Anchor Plumbing the next morning, and they sent a team out that same day. Brandon and Adam were fantastic - they worked efficiently to find and fix the problem that day, all while being extra quiet out of respect for my small children's nap time. They were tiptoeing around my attic and whispering to avoid waking the kids up. How awesome is that?! Their thoughtfulness and expertise made it such a great experience. Anchor Plumbing Services responded to my request for service in less than an hour. Dakota was very friendly, knowledgeable, and thoroughly went through all my options for a new water heater. Henry and Alex arrived on schedule and ready to work. Henry located the problem and made a plan A, B and C. The estimate was realistic and they completed the work in one visit, keeping me informed of any changes as they arose. Professional, quick and they worked as quietly as possible, being considerate of two remote-working business people. Minimal Sheetrock cutting left me with and easy patch job and running water, and that’s what I needed. Great work.
Needed a new pressure regulator valve installed because of the noticeable increase in water pressure inside the house and they came out to install one for us. Gave us two options with different price points and did not pressure us to go with the most expensive one. Also gave suggestions about our water heater but didn’t pressure us to replace the whole thing like another company. Did advise that it will have to be something we change sooner rather than later (we have an older home we are renovating little by little). Also asked about an old spigot in the backyard that doesn’t run and they gracious investigated to give feedback on the best way to fix it. Appreciated the honesty and expertise from both Dakota and Alex. Would definitely use this company again.

I searched the internet for a plumbing company and was immediately drawn to all the positive reviews for Anchor Plumbing and also liked the fact that it was close to my home so I decided to try them. The reviews are all very accurate! I spoke to the owner, Paul and he was very courteous and immediately made an appointment with me for the next day. I thought I had a water heater issue which in fact he verified it was actually a condensation pump issue and offered me a great option. When he came out to my home, I told him about a few more issues and he was very patient in checking them out and explaining what needed to be done. His staff, Henry and Dakota came out the next day and replaced two toilets. They were prompt, courteous and efficient. I made a change in the middle of the job and they very graciously adhered to my wishes. I will definitely be calling Anchor Plumbing for all my future plumbing issues! Following the 2021 freeze in San Antonio, Anchor came out to inspect the pipes in my home since I noticed water pooling near the city connection. Henry the technician was very professional, explaining everything that they had found in the inspection, the work they would be performing, and providing photos for the insurance claim I was filing. The work they performed ended up being cheaper than they originally quoted, so Henry was very up front and adjusted the invoice accordingly. When I had some issues getting the insurance claim approved, Henry and Jeremiah at Anchor obliged me and took the time to provide some addition detail in the statement of work to help me get the claim approved. From scheduling the appointment, to the repairs, to the follow ups on the invoice, the team at Anchor has been a pleasure to work with. I will absolutely call them the next time there is a need, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a plumbing services.

I have used Anchor Plumbing about 10 times now and am beyond happy with their service. Henry, their lead plumber, came out the first time and was clearly an expert on all things plumbing related. We asked for him to come back every time because of this. Henry has completed a various amount of jobs from easy to very complex: unclogging a toilet, installing a new water heater, fixing a main line blockage, fixing old broken pipes, moving gas lines, fixing a broken water heater and more. Our projects have had their fair share of surprises and complexities and Henry has always had the right answer and has a wealth of knowledge about how each plumbing fixture ties into the whole house. Henry is always on time, professional, kind, and incredibly efficient. We even had a major leak inside the house on Friday at 6pm and Henry personally made sure someone was there within 30 minutes to fix the issue. When my water heater failed, I reached out to five different companies. Paul, the owner of Anchor, returned my message within 30 minutes. As promised, he called me an hour later and set up an appointment for that same day. He told me that his crew would call me before arrival. They did. They arrived on time. Brandon and his partner were prompt and thorough. I’ve used Brandon multiple times and even contacted him outside of business hours with questions. He is always gracious enough to provide answers. He recently fixed a pressure reduce valve which aided our water flow. Digging was necessary to complete the project, which he took on by saying “we’re not leaving here until we find it.” Although the job was cumbersome, he and his partner completed it with a smile on their faces. We hired Anchor Plumbing to replace a water heater and install a water softener system. They arrived on time, did the work and were done ahead of schedule, leaving a very clean work site. There was minimal interruption in the water service to the house (I had filled extra buckets to use but they weren't needed.) The installers were very professional and courteous, we were very pleased with it all, including the price! Would highly recommend them and plan on using them for another project in the near future.
Anchor Plumming Services will now be my go to plumming company. I called for repairs to be made and within 2 hours I had Adam at my door. They send you a text message with a short description about your technician which makes the experience much more personable. I chose Anchor Plumbing based on great reviews. Arrived at 11:15 (window 10:00-12:00). Alec was upfront about charge for visit, approximated the service to unclog toilet. I had already drained the toilet. He started with manual snake, upgraded to removing toilet. Pulled 3' roots at a tear in lead connector. Used camera sighting no further issues in line. He gave $1100 estimate for future work. I provided the new wax ring, and had to ask that the area around the ring be cleaned before he replaced the toilet. The invoice was over $400. Left before 12:30. Not bad for doing as little as possible in a short amount of time.
This company is wicked fast at responding to requests! My tub on the 2nd floor had been dripping for a bit, and I found out the hard way that it could eventually leak to the 1st floor ?. Luckily our plumber Adam Purvis was more than ready to solve the issue! He was timely, efficient, and made sure that I was aware of everything that was going on. Now, I'm happy to say that my bathtub is back to normal, and it was all done in one day! I highly recommend Anchor Plumbing for friendly and superb service!

The serviceman seemed knowledgeable and gave a price on the spot for the part to be replaced. He ran to the shop to pick up the part and had everything ready to go shortly after. From the time he got here to when he left all took about an hour (including the time he left to pick the part up). We'll be calling them in the future for other plumbing problems. I have been burned by contractors for a good part of my life. It's seriously so challenging being a women in construction and having to defend myself constantly has made me a bit of a bitter person. But Anchor has been one of the few companies that just gets customer service and on top of it, they are honest and treat me professionally so I can actually enjoy working with them. So much of my work goes through them simply because I know I can throw them my keys and they will get it done. They have great communication and if at any point they don't because of work load or in general mistakes, they always call me and reassure that it wasn't on purpose. They do good work, it doesn't fail, and its neat. They don't leave me a huge mess like other contractors do. Paul really runs a tight ship and I feel like they are family. Its something I do not see often without ego ruining the business for its customers. I really appreciate them. All of them. Shout out to Brandon and Pete. :P

During the freeze that happened in San Antonio my water line had a leak. I called many places that told me I had a month wait I found this company in my search and the informed me that they could be there in two days! Since then I always recommend Anchor Plumbing Service to everyone. I just recently developed a different leak inside the house and called them first. I like how they give you a personal bio of the technician that is coming to your house. That makes it seem more personal. Overall I'm so grateful for these guys and the amazing work that they do!

Had a plugged drain from washing machine, which is in the garage, which flooded with water due to said plug. The obstruction was down too far to fix myself. Saw all the great reviews and called this company. They came out the same day, problem solved. Henry explained what was done and I found him to be very professional and very polite. I have been dealing with a low water pressure issue for 3 years. Called independent plumbers twice and both told me it was likely a water pressure valve issue. But because they couldn’t tell me with confidence I was hesitant to spend so much. Called Anchor. They immediately scheduled a service. He was prompt and called me 30 mins prior to arrival. He tested and immediately said with confidence the issue was my water pressure valve and explained why that was the issue. Price was very reasonable. We have had a great experience with Anchor plumbing. Consistently we have received prompt and excellent service, and I personally have enjoyed working with Alec, one of the plumbers. He has installed a new garbage disposal for us, an R/O system, placed two new toilets, and came to our rescue when we discovered broken water heater hoses, on a Saturday. When I called the office I've spoken with Paul and he is professional and has done his best to always schedule according to our needs. And last but also equally important; their prices are great! I highly recommend this company, and I'm so thankful I know I have this company to call upon when ever I have a plumbing issue.
I had frozen and then burst pipes due to the winter storm. I called Anchor on the day I realized that my pipes were burst. Khameron showed up at my house in less than 2 hours. He was extremely professional, and he fixed 6 different pieces of burst pipes and had me up and running in under 2 hours. Great service! I won't be calling any other plumbing service except Anchor in the future. Many thanks!!!
Pete and (I'm assuming) his apprentice were on time, clean, professional, wore a mask inside the house at all times, and completed the job. they faced a challenge of needing to work around the clumsy builder placement of the shower studding. they had to cut and replace the piping from the water lines to the shower in half the normal allotted space because of the location of the bump out. 10/10 would recommend this team again.

More than satisfied!My home’s water main broke at 1:30pm. I called and they had a team there within an hour. The main was repaired less than an hour later.On top of that, I had a toilet mount issue that another company had quoted us nearly $1,000 for not a week earlier.Anchor’s quote for the main repair AND the toilet repair was just less than the prior toilet quote.Of course I let them fix both.I also love the text message they send when the tech is on the way. Not only does it have a name, but a pic and a brief bio to boot. Nice touch.
After having no hot water since Feb 15 (due to the 2021 Texas freeze and power outages) and contacting 4 other plumbing businesses, I talked to Paul at Anchor on Saturday, March 13. He said he would be at our house Monday morning, March 15 and assured us he could get hot water back in our home before the end of the day. True to his word, Paul diagnosed the issues, and told us he had a tankless water heater in his shop....which happened to be the very same water heater we tried ordering from Lowe's but were informed it was on back order and not available until May 26! Paul (and Jarod) returned to our home with the water heater within a couple of hours, and installed it efficiently and quickly, making sure all our faucets were running hot water before they left. Good, reliable, friendly service and we didn't feel that we had been price-gauged. In addition, they unclogged another fixture while they were here. I don't take the time to write many reviews, but I am not only satisfied but thoroughly impressed with Anchor Plumbing. The professionalism from start to finish was impeccable. Immediate response when making an online appointment. Accommodated my schedule preferences. Followed up with an appointment reminder 24 hours prior. On the day of, texted me confirmation of dispatched unit along with a brief bio and photo of the plumber, Dakota. Dakota and Kham then called me 15 minutes before arriving to ensure I was ready for them.Upon arriving, keeping a social distance and wearing masks, they addressed my low water pressure concern immediately. While I had an idea as to the culprit and I tend to be very DIY minded, Dakota's thorough explanation of the concern and additional recommendations to improve my situation led to me not only having him replace my faulty PRV, but also replacing my water heater. While they are both tasks I could have managed myself, the added value of a professional installation, with fair pricing, and saving me from having to dig a hole for the PRV, work in my attic on the water heater, and then lug that monstrosity all the way downstairs was well worth it, and comes with peace of mind. He even changed the stock valve to a 3/4 ball valve drain extension, at my request, to facilitate future maintenance on the unit.Water pressure went from 28 to 70psi, and Dakota and Kham were done and out of my house in less than 5 hours, while I was at work. I will be using them again to install a water softener in the very near future. My neighbor even came by and took pictures to use their services too.THANKS GUYS!Anchor...if you're keeping track...these guys are All-Stars!

We only use one plumbing company and that is Anchor Plumbing. We own several properties and Henry and Taylor have always solved our plumbing issues. They have installed additional plumbing to convert one sick to dual sinks in our bathroom vanities on several houses. They have repaired numerous leaks in the yards on several properties. One leak was particularly difficult to find and they continued digging until it was found which was approximately 3 ft. deep. They have installed hot water heaters, installed several pressure relief valves and changed shower and tub cartridges as well. I can always rely on their punctual and very thorough service and have always been completely satisfied. They are very professional, friendly and quick to respond to my calls. I trust them 100% and will continue to use them and only them. I HIGHLY recommend them for any of your plumbing needs. They are #1 to us.

Why just yesterday Paul and his fabulous crew installed a new water softener in our 1950s home. We are new to SA, so like many, I hopped on Yelp and Google to find plumbers in the area with credibility and solid work ethic. Well, needless to say, Anchor Plumbing was looking quite stellar and once Paul came out to give me a free estimate, he more than lived up to those reviews. He was very clear in explaining the process of installation, the cost, the materials needed, model/warranty info and timing to complete the project. I had 3 other estimates from plumbers, and Paul came in below his competitors and by not trying to upsell me on additional products, I knew he was our guy.The day of the install couldn't have gone smoother. Seems like I am a valued customer as this is my 4th time in the past 2 years for them to come out. All for different reasons. PRV, water heater and 2 leaks but they have always done a great job and never had issues on those parts fixed again

These folks provided installation of our water softener, flushed our water heater, and installed a pressure valve. They were really responsive and quick in their work. Would hire again.
I installed a water heater, unfortunately, when i went to plug it into the outlet the power went out. So I left it alone and told my wife to call a plumber for the following day. The plumbers (1st Call plumbinh) she called told her a new water heater would be needed because the one i installed would not work. My wife said the plumbers did not look at the heater and quoted her $3200 for installment of a new water heater and some other repairs. We felt they were trying to take advantage of the situation.So i contacted Anchor Plumbing via FB and immediately responded. They went the following day and said the wiring was not tight enough and caused the power outage. They fixed the wiring and installed a thermal expansiontank and pressure valve st a readonable price. Felt like they were honest and they did a great job. Thank you.

Their prices are fair and seem to be less than other plumbers I've gotten estimates from in the past. The owner seems to have a lot of integrity, which shows in the people he hires.
Henry Sauceda and his coworker were responsive and prompt. They took care of everything we asked and we're diligent and patient in explaining our options throughout the process. The level of professionalism they showed was unparalleled. Hands down would recommend them to anyone and will certainly be calling Anchor again when the need arises.

Had a broken toilet that needed to be replaced. I had purchased the toilet and installation hardware from a big-chain hardware store (rhymes with Mowe's). However, their installation team (3rd party contract) was going to take at least a week to get to our installation. Clearly wasn't going to work. So one of our neighbors recommended Anchor--they couldn't have been more on target! They arrived the same day, replaced and hauled away the broken toilet, and were roughly the same price I was going to pay the other store for installation a week later! Anchor was helpful from the first call all the way through the end of my appointment. The technicians were punctual, knowledgeable, and got the job done quickly.
I was an unlucky homeowner that had NIBCO piping installed in the mid home. After the 4th leak, I decided to repipe my entire house. Henry and Taylor fixed the 4th leak and I asked for an estimate for the repipe. After receiving the estimate, it was well under what I was expecting to pay so I jumped on the calendar. For those of you wondering, every water outlet (sinks, washer, dishwasher, toilet, shower, etc.) had to be touched, and replaced. I was okay with the estimated 3 days to complete, but then was surprised when they finished in 2 days. They kept me in the loop every step of the way. In addition, they replaced my water heater and water softener as also installed a new hose bib outside, all within 2 days. I’m not much for writing reviews but these guys deserve every bit of acknowledgement for the outstanding job they did. And when then work was done, they weren’t. They cleaned up every bit of the house to make sure it was in the same shape as when they arrived (except for the sheetrock holes of course). With the professionalism and quality provided on a job like mine, I would recommend them for any plumbing issue that may arise.
Kham shows up in the window allowed and provided great customer service. He addressed what was needing to be repaired and worked hard to keep the work area clean. Would use this company again and would ask for Kham to do the work. Will be recommending to other family members as they followed through and showed up as scheduled.
Thank you Kham and Taylor for fixing our leak quickly. Everything was explained upfront and there were no surprises in the bill. Anchor Plumbing is a great company that you can trust.

After attempting to install a water softener system for my house, by myself, I realized I was kidding myself in thinking I could install it alone. Being new to the area, I wasn't sure who to call to help install. After seeing the Better Business Bureau showing Anchor Plumbing as a reputable and well liked business, I decided to call and have them come out to finish my feeble attempt to hook up the water softener system.Two days later, I had two individuals come to the house to hook up the system for me. They were extremely professional and took the time to explain to me how the system worked. They had it done fairly quickly, cleaned up after themselves and even offered to pour the salt into the softener system. To make the whole process even better, I was charged less than what I was originally quoted, due to having all the parts and most of the work done on the system itself. Thanks to the company and kudos to the professional team who came out to assist me.

Dakota and Kham came to fix a toilet at my home. I have used anchor plumbing several times and they are always professional. The technician always takes time to explain everything. I always feel comfortable with them in my home.
Henry and Taylor came over to work on our house for two days of doing an almost overhaul. All new pipes throughout the home, new water softener and filter, new water heater, another heater flush, pressure valve install, and a bunch of other, and sometimes unexpected, smaller jobs. This was their second time out, the first time fixing a leaking pipe in the crawl space as well as capping a number of gas sources. They were very trustworthy in their assessment of our needs, not pushy at all, very professional. They were very thorough in making sure the work was completed carefully. And when circumstances in our old house showed problems (don’t they always? The old worry of opening up the walls and finding a new problem), they came up with a very clean solution to fixing it. Turns out in an old reno, the owners laid pipes between the foundation and the subfloor. What could have required ripping up floor or shower tile was fixed by simply removing a couple tiles from our tub. These guys were working hard at it on a very hot day and only broke for lunch. We were really impressed and will definitely be calling them again when we have any more plumbing needs! Thank you both so much!

I had a sudden, complex water pressure emergency. My water pressure went to near zero after turning on a shower or flushing a toilet at the same time. I checked everything: PRV, softener, whole-house filter, line blockages, could find nothing. Paul came over same day, making changes in his schedule, to help solve our emergency. He immediately identified the problem, and made recommendations for several options to fix, all at reasonable prices. His work was professional, his approach customer friendly, and pricing very reasonable. And... we had water back to the house before my wife got home from work (happy wife, happy life!)
Didn't fully troubleshoot the problem I called them for. So ended up costing me more money in the long run.

they're more seller than plumbers. I have then come to adjust my water pressure and instead of check the valve and inspected they where quoting me 1000 dollar for replace it with out seeing the valve. Other company came and did it for less than their service fee

They came and did some much needed remolding on our two bathrooms. Struggled with leaks for years and had many poor DIY jobs, finally caved and went to with professionals and was not disappointed. Great job

I tried to fix the clogged sewer line myself but my snake auger couldn't reach it. It was well worth the $228 to snake out the sewer line and end my worry and frustration. They were prompt and courteous and would highly recommend this company.

Anchor plumbing did an excellent job installing my new water heater in a small space! When my CPS home manager fried my relay and blew out my new water heater, anchor plumbing came out on a Saturday evening to trouble shoot the system for us
