Best Gas Tank Water Heaters in Sacramento CA

This company is a Navien water heater specialist as I was having issues with mine after 10 months of installation. They did not install my water heater but I needed a Navien specialist to diagnose it.
I paid them 160 for them to come out for 20 minutes to tell me it was my condensate line, which seemed kinda weird to me as there was no signs of it backed up.

But the machine decided to work when he disconnected the condensate line and didn't even bother getting on Navien tech support.

The heater goes out again 2 days later and I needed them to come back. Once again he tells me it's the condensate line and tells navien I didn't have any fall on the neutralizer.

None if this made sense to me since I delivered 90 new homes with the same set up with no issues.(I'm a construction manager)

Long story short, I had to call Navien tech myself to ask 2 series of questions to figure out I had a internal leak on the heat exchanger and newwrx told me since they didn't install it they did not want to touch it, unless I buy a new one from them.

I ended up going with Clark and rush as their tech knew the issue and got the part warranty.

If you want a navien tankless or need a specialist stay away from this company their tech probably needs more training.

Only thing good about them is their scheduling on showing up at the time alloted.

I called VanGo to have a part replaced in my commercial water heart. The technician showed up and started cutting/ taking things apart. The workmanship was rough on the water heater, and he was having a hard time removing a small crew even. 20 minute into the work he said it cannot be done and I will need a new water heater then left. My water heater was left more broken than it was before. His manager called later and said he would stop by to take a look. But never showed up or returned my calls.

Great service and reliable. Service appointment was quick. A plumber came out and fixed the problem but then later after he left there was a very minor problem. I called Ken, the owner, and he came out and fixed it himself. I gave them 5 stars because the job got done in a timely manner. This company is reasonable and does not overcharge.

Showed up on time, the technician that came was Jesse and he was professional and respectful. The price was reasonable. We've had a few other technicians in the past, but no one was better than Jesse.

Good service and kind of expensive

The work I need does was to replace a failed water heater. The process took a full day and we found and repaired a leaky drain pipe behind the water heater. The workman was capable, courteous and completed the job with updates on the process through out. I was very pleased with the service I got.

20-year-old tank started leaking the morning of Mothers' Day. Called and in less than two hours, a well-trained technician showed up with a new unit on the truck and two and one-half hours later the installation was completed, including new plumbing and gas connection, and then they hauled away the old unit. No additional fee for coming out on a Sunday or a holiday. Technician was very good and very polite. I have already recommended this company to a couple of neighbors who have water heaters about the same age as my old one.

I have had a very positive experience with Shields Plumbing! Scott came to address several plumbing issues in the house I recently bought. He is very knowledgeable about plumbing issues and is efficient, professional, and skilled at what he does. He was able to locate and identify the problems and repair them quickly. He insulated pipes, repaired a whole house water filtration system and reverse osmosis system, repaired an outdoor water leak, installed bathroom sink and tub/shower faucets, and hooked up the ice maker in my new refrigerator. He did all of this while also being very pleasant to be around. I was very comfortable with him working in and around my home. In addition to all of this he was VERY reasonably priced! He also communicated very well and showed up when he said he would and assured me that I could call him if there were any issues with any of his work! I HIGHLY recommend Shields plumbing!

My wife and I have lived with our 18 year old GE water heater and figured it was probably due for replacement. I went to a reputable company in Sacramento and was quoted about $2400 to replace it. I looked around the internet and immediately came across Water Heater Pros. Their reviews were mostly 5 stars and their prices were quoted right on their website. I called, spoke to Steve and he helped me set up a date and he explained the entire warranty, job details and made me feel comfortable.

A few days later, the tech (Andrew I think) arrived on time and began work on replacing our old water heater. I checked on him from time to time and he took the time while working about the details of our new Bradford While 40 gallon water heater. He finished up in just over two hours and left my garage as he found it. Super job and we are very satisfied with the professionalism and courtesy. I would highly recommend Water Heaters Pro. Their pricing is straight forward and I like that. No hidden fees and they even take care of obtaining the work permit. Well done guys!

Our sewer line collapsed. Our neighbor, who had used Jeff's Plumbing several times, contacted them. They came the same day for an estimate and began work the next day. The workers were friendly, conscientious, came when they said they would (every day of the 4 days the job took), managed to save all the small trees that were near the sewer line, cleaned the site every day, especially our neighbor's driveway. Jeff's does open replacement, not trenchless. We feel the open replacement has better results in the long run. It was necessary to tunnel under a large tree and Jeff's had to call another company to do that, which resulted in a one day delay. We were billed the bid price, despite the need to call the other company. We are very satisfied in every respect with the work Jeff's Plumbing did. I notice that the poor reviews had poor interactions with the owner and our friend confirmed that he is gruff to deal with. While we didn't deal with him ourselves I feel it is worth putting up with his gruffness because of the excellent work the company does.

I would not recommend this company for tankless water heater service. They botched a diagnosis and repair of my tankless water heater, taking 8 service calls to figure out what was wrong with my heater, at one point they told me I had to replace the heater. Turns out the electrical control box was faulty and needed to be replaced.After almost $1,000 in parts and labor, they finally figured out what was wrong. One star since they were mostly pleasant despite the frustrating experience.
