Our W/H went offline Friday morning. Confronted with a weekend and not knowing when we would have hot water, we took to some searches to see if we could find help. WHO immediately took the call, said they could get it done over the weekend (we had a standard tank) and quoted over the phone. The tech Matt H was on time and did a great job to make sure we got the right tank for the house and got it all done in three hours (including one trip to the warehouse). While I hope we get a long life from this one, if ever we need another, WHO will be the first phone call!

After 22 years of meritorious service, our old water heater finally gave out. My husband found Water Heaters Only through a web search and we called on a Saturday morning to set up an appointment to replace the previous unit. Brandon came out two days later on March 25, 2019, (I would say super promptly, since he arrived 45 minutes early) and finished the work in about 2 hours. The work done was great. There were no surprises on the price. Brandon explained everything to our satisfaction and we are extremely happy to have hot water again! We will recommend Water Heaters Only to everyone who needs a new unit.

We have used Water Heaters Only twice now. This time out water heater was 18 years old. They are always quick to respond and our water heater headaches are cured literally within hours of our call. The technician, Steve Burlison, gave me the quote and told me the quote was free and he could come back if I wanted to discuss with my husband. I chose to get it done then. Fast and courteous and Steve explained the updated code requirements. A neighbor saw the truck and came to discuss their hot water issues and Steve was able to schedule them right after he was done with ours. I like the fact that a selection of water heaters is carried in their vans for prompt installation! Kudos to the dispatcher, Valerie, also. Valerie got the information she needed from me and gave me a general idea of cost something which other companies were unwilling to do.

I have been in the property management industry for 7 years and have been working with Water Heater's Only for quite some time. When my hot water heater at my own home went out this past weekend (on a Sunday), naturally I called Water Heater's Only. I woke up to a leaking water heater on a Sunday morning 3 days before our Christmas gathering at my house. Brad was dispatched to take care of the problem within hours and not only was the water heater replaced, but a pan was in place so that future leaks would stay in the garage rather than flooding my laundry room. My water heater flipped out on Sunday, July 29th and I called Water Heaters Only. The Lady on the phone gave me a rough estimate and said a Technician would call me shortly. 'Matt' called me within 10 minutes and said he was stuck in traffic but should arrive within 1/2 hour which he did. He gave me the estimate and said it would take about 2 hours. I was so relieved to get this taken care of in such a professional and courteous manner - especially on a Sunday. I will recommend this company to anyone who needs their water heater replaced.

Compared to other places that give you large time windows that they don't meet, John showed up right on time on 5/6/15 and worked diligently to install my new water heater in the previous location which looked to be quite the challenge. This is my second time using Water Heaters Only as they installed my previous one some 20 years ago. The water heater was still working when replaced but I had some concerns and wanted a solid replacement before new efficiency laws take effect decreasing my water tank capacity.

We are very pleased with the service that Water Heaters Only provided. Our water heater actually went out on Christmas Day 2017. Amazingly, I got someone on the phone that day, and we were able to schedule them to come out quickly (Dec.27th). I checked around the internet, and found that the price they quoted me was very competitive. Ron the installer did a great job. We haven't had any problems since. We would definitely recommend this company to others, and will use them in the future.

The company had a call center that was very responsive. I appreciated that they emailed me the range that the water heater replacement would cost. They require a 65 dollar fee to come out and give a full quote for the job. This is waived if you agree to the work. The technician, Matt, was punctual and communicated very well. He was a straight shooter and gave very thorough details of why we needed to do what he was requesting. I found that to be helpful too. The work was completed on time and done very well. I am very pleased with my experience and would recommend this business, especially Matt, again.

Excellent customer service from my initial phone call. Spoke to Paul, he gave me the run down in regards to estimate of a 40 gallon tank, if I decided to replaced my old one and set me up with a tech to check my water heater within the same day. After 20 years my water heater gave up and started leaking bad. Tech Dillon, came in at around 1:00pm and checked the situation and gave me the full estimate and I went ahead and decided to replaced the my old water heater. Dillion, was the man. Great attitude, very nice personality, easy to talk to and he gave me the full round down of my new water heater after it was fully installed. Very professional. Dillon, did an exceptional job and may I say the job was clean. I'm one happy customer. I highly recommend Water Heaters Only.

We had a leak coming for our water heater, and we looked around for the best deal. Many people quoted us much higher than what WHO had including a bunch of fees we weren't sure what they were for. As renters, our homeowner had tried to have people come out, but we had nothing but trouble including them trying to charge us (the renters) for extra work that the homeowners were promised they needed to pay more fees. We found WHO, and everyone had great things to say about them online, so we thought we'd give them a call. They not only gave us a range of pricing and didn't try to pull the wool over our eyes, but they were able to do it the following morning. Dave was prompt and did not try to sell us unnecessary parts that many of the companies had quoted as required. He was friendly, and even took it in stride when my dogs ran into the garage and jumped on him (not while he was working of course, but still.) I came home to a leaking water heater; I called them after hours and they answered; set up an appointment for the following morning and John Fantham showed up on time, called me while on his way, and my water heater was a nightmare of very strange hoses. My new water heater was installed on October 2, 2018 by Ron B. He was very efficient and provided an excellent water heater with which I am very pleased. Ron was very patient in informing me of the details about water heaters in general and what I specifically needed to know about my new appliance. I especially appreciated his patience and competence in cleaning out the very messy closet which houses the water heater. It is outside the house. The old water heater had been in place since 1988, was leaking, and there were numerous rat droppings which he had to deal with.

Had a leaky water heater at a rental property of mine in Roseville. Original unit circa 1990! That's amazing it lasted so long. Called WHO and they responded rather quickly. They did have an issue with a truck down and an employee out sick, but they did make it out the following day. (anybody that owns a business knows this can happen) Ron was on time and provided a quality install and was very polite and respectful to my tenant. I would recommend them for any rental property water heater replacement needs.

After arriving he said he would have the job completed in about 2 hours, he did so almost on the dot. It is hard to believe that I detected a leak on my 26 year old water heater this morning and found the website and phone number for the Sacramento area. I called at 11:30 am and after a short wait was told that Brandon will come to see what the problem was and give me a bid. At 1:30 pm Brandon was in front of my house and after looking at the mess he proposed to replace the water heater with a new and better model in two hours time. Indeed that's exactly what he did and I watched him do a very professional work and by 4 pm he left with a well done job. Discovering a flooded garage is how our morning began. In less than four hours from my call to Water Heaters Only, we had a brand new water heater and our day was back to normal.
Brandon arrived with all the equipment and parts required for a complete installation. New plumbing and gas fittings were provided along with all hardware and misc. materials to ensure the new tank meets all local Building Codes. Brandon was very personable and was obviously very qualified and professional. He happily answered my questions and made sure I was familiar with the various temp settings and function codes before he left.
Cost for our new 50gal. tank was very reasonable.

I called Water Heaters Only on a Sunday afternoon due to a leak on a very old water heater. Brandon Nelson from Water Heaters Only came out the next day right on time to replace it with a new 50 gallon water heater.

He also needed to replace a leaking inlet water valve, install new exhaust ducting and a copper overflow piping to meet County code.

He completed the job in a couple of hours and we had hot water again about an hour after that. Brandon was very professional and was great at answering all my questions. When he was done, he walked me thru some of the basics operational steps of the water heater which could come in handy down the road.

The price seemed fair in today's world. Actually, my neighbor just had her water heater replaced a month ago by another company and paid about 30% more than I paid. It's very possible that my neighbor had to have some additional work done and that's why there was such a difference in cost, but I can't confirm that one way or another.

I would recommend Water Heaters Only, Inc to anyone who needs to replace or repair a water heater.

I obtained three bids from other well known plumbing companies that were SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER than Water Heaters Only. I really did not like the incentive to join the other company's twice a year HVAC/plumbing inspection ($15 per month) in order to get the discounted price that was still VERY SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER ($600+)! Water Heaters Only quoted a price, excellent install today by Beni (on a Saturday!) and I could not be more please! Water Heaters Only is the ONLY WAY TO GO! There were upgrades to meet code and even though they were extra because it was a 14 yr old water heater, they were reasonable and explained by Brandon. My 90 yr old mom was happy as they cleaned up, checked that the house had hot water, and took the old one. Thanks!

Had a propane 50 gal. tank water heater installed. John arrived within the appt. window we were given. Quoted us a fair price, which we agreed to. Installed it in under 3 hours. The final price was slightly higher than the phone quote ($285 more). However the service was EXCEPTIONAL! John knew city code and pulled a permit. He went above and beyond by patching a hole that he was not required to do. He explained what was necessary and why while caring for my home and cleaning up after himself. It was time to replace our water heater. After researching price ranges and making calls I made a list of contractors to obtain quotes. I started with Water Heaters Only. They have the ability to provide an estimate and start work right away if desired. They add no extra charge for weekends and use the highest quality water heater. Due to an opening in my busy schedule I set-up a visit for a quote on a Saturday morning. John arrived as promised after receiving a call to give me his ETA. He was friendly and professional. I asked him about the option to increase the tank size. He said that would be possible for my application. The price was very competitive, he had the larger tank size in his van and I couldn't pass up the convenience of starting work right then and there. He completed the job in the few hours estimated. Woke up to cold water and a terminally leaking water heater. Called my plumber first but they could not fit me in until the next day. He suggested I call Water Heaters Only. So that is what I did at about 7:30 AM. The dispatcher was great. He scheduled John to come out early in the afternoon. The whole process was fantastic. I was called within an hour from when I made the claim. The technician arrived the next morning by 9:00 did a superb job and I had a new water heater working by noon. Dillon answered all my questions and instructed me on how to light the pilot and flush the system. After 20 years in our home, two water heaters were long overdue for replacement and both were in tight spaces. We got recommendations from friends and a couple of bids for the first one last spring. WH Only had the best bid and the least complicated way to replace an 80-gallon dinosaur tank that could no longer get past lukewarm and made threatening noises in the middle of the night. Their estimator and installer Brandon was on time for both visits and did an outstanding job of removing and replacing the old heater with a safer and more efficient model, although the job took three hours longer than anticipated. Thoroughly professional and courteous throughout and great cleanup. Second replacement was today, following a recent service call by WH Only to relight the remaining heater. Dillon arrived on-time and completed the job ahead of schedule. We'd highly recommend this company and its staff for anyone in need of water heater service or replacement in our region.

Our 25-year-old water heater finally bit the bullet, and started leaking this past weekend. We called Water Heaters Only, they came out the next day and gave us a quote lower than any others. We called them right back, and scheduled for them to install a new water heater for today, 9/3/15 at 1 p.m.

Our old water heater had done its duty: 13 years of service. But the last year was a little iffy, with hot water available only for one of us to shower each day. I now showered three days a week at the club, after workouts. But we had guests coming - my daughter's family of five - tomorrow! So, we started our search, asking first of all the company that installed the former one for a price. My wife couldn't believe it: $7,800. My husband & I were very pleased with WHO we had them replace a water heater back in 2002 and in 2005 we had no pilot and John replaced the T-couple. So when our water heater went this time, I called WHO. John called ahead and was on time, very professional even remember the tech who installed it back in 2002 Earl. It's rainy, windy, cold and a Sunday and our water heater bit the dust, leaking water all over our garage. Today I had Brandon Nelson from Water Heaters Only replace my 75 gallon water heater. He was able to answer all of my questions and was very polite. The installation looks great and he picked up the work area and left it clean. We called the company that made the tank and they sent us new parts for free and told us who to go to and have them installed for free. Having out water heater blow-out on a Saturday was the worst thing that could happen because most places are closed. Water Heaters Only was contacted and they sent out one of their technicians who was on his day off to come out and replace out water heater. Brandon Nelson was the technician they sent and he spent 3hrs plus replacing the water heater including doing the plumbing for hot water recirculation pump that is installed in the house. He did an excellent job and quickly considering the amount of work was needed to complete the job, he was at our house until after 7pm and kept a great attitude during the job. A definite recommend for water heater work.

I need my hot water heater serviced so I called Water Heaters only. When I called i talk with the owner he stated that they could fix the water heater for $350.00 and hey could have service person out in about a hour. When the service person showed up at the house he noticed that the cover was off the water heater and company policy was the if the water heater was tamper with they could not do the repairs. I understood and said ok. The biggest problem for me was that they still charge me 89 bucks to tell me that they could not do the repairs. The owner never stated to me that there would be a charge if they could not do the repairs. So i am out 89 bucks and no repair and no hot water!!

Yesterday was my first contact with Water Heaters Only, and I was impressed with the office staff - Valerie and Nancy- who gave me a rough estimate and set up an appointment for a no-obligation inspection. Brandon came out within 2 hours and showed and explained to us the problem with our old Whirlpool water heater, which we had tried to fix ourselves (thank you youtube videos). We were really strapped for finances, but fortunately they allow the total price to be paid in thirds over 3 months. They also offered a senior discount. By the way, Water Heaters Only was 1/2 the price of the Home Depot's estimate for the job. We needed to think about it for a few hours, but called back late in the afternoon to schedule the job. Brandon was back at 12:30 the next day with everything needed to do the job. He made the code upgrades and installed the new unit efficiently. 20-year-old tank started leaking the morning of Mothers' Day. Called and in less than two hours, a well-trained technician showed up with a new unit on the truck and two and one-half hours later the installation was completed, including new plumbing and gas connection, and then they hauled away the old unit. No additional fee for coming out on a Sunday or a holiday. Technician was very good and very polite. I have already recommended this company to a couple of neighbors who have water heaters about the same age as my old one.

This is the second time I have used Water Heaters only in a year and a half at different locations. John is very knowledgeable, explains everything and competitive prices. After giving the go ahead to install the new water heater he had everything including the water heater to start the insulation. The installation was completed in about 3 1/2 hours. I highly recommend Water Heaters Only.

I was on my way home from from a business trip and was informed by my wife that our water heater was leaking. I did a little research online and called a few places, and decided to work with Water Heaters Only, Inc. In speaking with representatives over the phone (Laurie and Christian), I felt that they were knowledgeable and aware of the various issues related to water heater installation (for different types of systems). Other companies seemed to over simplify the process, which gave me a feeling that there would be surprises along the way.

Brandon Nelson came out the next morning to replace my water heater with a new one. He faced challenges as a result of the new unit being a bit larger than the existing one, but he handled the challenges very effectively and got the job done. I am very pleased with the work that he did, and would gladly recommend him and Water Heaters Only, Inc. to anyone needing some work done related to their water heating system.

Friday morning we found out we had no hot water. Friday at 3pm we called around and nobody would come out till Monday. Water Heaters Only were able to come out Saturday morning and by noon we had a new water heater and John did a very good clean job! Thank you Water Heaters Only!!!

Professional and responsive. We called in the early am to have water heater replaced as local retailers couldn’t promise same day service. Installer came and realized that our unit wasn’t very old and he reset it...and voila we have saved $2k! In a heartbeat we will be recommending them, and we will call when ours finally fails!

On Monday we noticed our water heater was leaking. On Tuesday my
husband made several calls inquiring about a replacement. He said
the most professional person he spoke to was at Water Heaters Only
and their price was competitive. On Wednesday our new water heater
arrived. Ron, the technician, was very knowledgeable and efficient.
The installation went very smoothly and we are very pleased to have
the job completed in such a short time.

Went to take a shower. No hot water. Tried to light the dang pilot on my 7 year old water heater tank. Tank wasn't playing nice. Cussing is beginning to occur..

I go on-line and look for a repair company with a 5 star rating. Called Water Heaters Only at 8:15 a.m. because their ad said they're open 24 hours.

Expected an answering machine with instructions to leave a call back number. Nope. Alex answers the phone on the second ring. Cheerful, VERY helpful, and provided some real good information on repair vs. replacement. At least now I can make an INFORMED decision.

About 90 minutes later, Dillon shows up. Dillon is a Level 5 Water Heater Wizard.

Dillon runs through some tests (explaining what and why he's doing what he's doing) and offers up a diagnosis and plan to remedy the issue. He surgically removes the ailing part, (some sort of corroded thing-a-ma-bob with wires hanging off it) does a surgical transplant with a new part, then teaches both my wife and I how to check and verify pilot light issues in the future.

Dillon then rides off into the morning to make the day better for another family seeking the comforts of warm H2O.

Trust me, after talking to Alex, IF I had needed to replace the unit I felt confident I wasn't being taken advantage of. So imagine how much more confident I felt with a repair at about a quarter of the cost for a new one.

Amazing company, totally professional, respectful, HONEST, and did what they said they could do at a cost I could afford. Their name is Water Heaters Only Inc.

Too bad, I have some other things around here I could use some help with.

From start to finish - a first class experience for me. It all started with the customer service call with Seth and continued through final install with the tech, Steve. Out of the three quotes I requested, this or was the only one who actually sent the tech that would be doing the repair/replacement. The others send a sales person who just quotes you from a laminated sheet and would schedule your actual repair for a later date. The tech was punctual, arriving at the beginning of the scheduled widow and explained everything in detail as I asked questions. The finished install looks excellent.

We needed a new water heater and was referred to Water Heaters Only, Inc! I called and they were out SAME DAY (FAST too) and in the window of time I was told!! The gentleman was very educated on water heaters and my needs. Very presentable and polite and a great job installing! We couldn't have been happier with the service! We refer them all the time! They even gave us a sticker to put on our water heater so if this happens again I know where I purchased and how to reach them in a pinch!!! A+ SERVICE from the call to the install!!! Because of the values and follow through of this company, the mini-disaster we thought we had when our water heater sprung a gushing leak late on a Sunday evening turned into something very manageable and easily dealt with. The entire process was wrapped up in far less than 24 hours and we have every confidence that we received top notch service and a quality water heater. I am very glad that I chose Water Heaters Only to install a new water heater at my mother's home. They exceeded my expectations because they were going to do the installation the next day (which was already great), but they arranged to come the same day I called them and completely installed a nice new quality water heater. Cannot speak highly enough about Water Heaters Only. Their representative came out on Christmas Eve to give me a bid. The bid was hundreds under what others had quoted. On top of that, they had a unit on hand and offered to install it right on the spot. Now I don’t have to go through the holidays without hot water!

Found out our water heater was about this morning. Called and set appointment for a new one to be installed. Brandon Nelson got to the house at 12. We talked and went over options for about 15 minutes. He was done installing the new heater at 1:30. Actual work time was about 1 hour 15 minutes. He was professional and informed us of warranty and everything. Suggest using them.

By the time I discovered that I had a problem with my hot water heater and that it needed to be replaced plus make a service call it was 3:00 p.m.. The person answering the call said that he had someone just finishing up on another job and could be at my home and that the service representative would call me when en route. The service rep John called and was here at 5:00 p.m. John explained in detail the work that needed to be accomplished including what needed to be done to bring up to code and fully answered all my questions. He estimated that it would take approximately two and a half hours for the installation and that's exactly how long it took. Four hours and thirty minutes after placing my initial call the job was complete. John did a superb job on the installation including cleanup. Everything needed to accomplish the task was in his truck. He was professional, courteous and it was easy to tell he knew exactly what he was doing. I highly recommend Water Heaters Only for anyone needing work on their water heater and thank you for the quick and outstanding service.

My water heater leaked out yesterday Sunday Aug 8th, 2018. I called them and told them what happened and the receptionist gave me a very good price quote and asked me if I wanted them to come out that same day. But since I was having a party, I said Monday was better. So came they came out Monday morning.

Ron B (technician) called me Monday morning and said he would be here within an hour and he was. He was very courteous and polite. He explained everything he was going to do. I am very please with the work that he did. I recommend water heaters only to anyone that needs a water heater !!!!!

The water heater we had was repaired a few years ago by Water Heaters Only, and finally it was time to replace it. The mechanic that came out was John, and he took the time to set things up and make sure everything was good to go. The order number is 1063794 from Jan 24, 2015. Great job! Steve

My service technician Matt from Sacramento was exceptional. From the phone call to let me know he was on his way until the clean up at the end of the job he was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Totally an all around great experience. As this being my first time having to deal with a broken water heater I didn’t know what to expect but Matt alleviated all my concerns and I would undoubtably recommend WHO as a company anyone would feel comfortable using. John came on time as he scheduled on 5-13-15. Once he arrived he assessed the existing water heater which was leaking. He gave me an estimate and told me what needed to be replaced in addition to the water heater, i.e., valve, flex pipes. flue vent. In addition to providing a cost estimate, he provide an estimate to how long the job would take. Comparing to the big box store, he provided a competitive price and would have the job done in a few hours. He completed the work as stated and left the job site in a clean condition. Would recommend Water Heaters Only to someone needing a water heater replacement.

We woke up to a leaking water heater, called at 7:30 am. Had a technician out to our house at noon. Window for service was 12-3 pm. Dillion the technician did an awesome job, removed and replaced water heater by 2 pm. Our house is sale pending, house inspection is scheduled for Thursday. 😳 . I called WHO for a quote on 7/23/16 and arranged for an installation the next day, 7/24/16. Ron B. called ahead to let us know when he would be at our home. Because of a obstinate vent pipe, the installation took longer than planned, but Ron persevered and finished the job that evening. Installation was professional, and everything was cleaned up. The new water heater works great.

Very professional and honest. Tech came and gave honest estimate both over phone and onsite (estimate changed very little). Was not up-sold once tech came to the house to give estimate (like Home Deport, Lowes, and Bonny Plumbing). Install was on 3/1/2018 in Elk Grove for Ray M. and installer was John I believe. Would recommend.

I received same day service for a water heater replacement from Water Heaters Only. Dillon showed up on time and gave me a quote to replace my 15 year old water heater. The price coated quote was competitive and Dillon had everything he needed in his truck to start the job immediately. Two hours later, I had a brand-new American made water heater that was installed using high quality components. Dillon explained to me why my old water heater rusted and leaked. The materials he used were chosen to be compatible with the water heater and the pipes in my wall, so I know I don’t need to worry about the new unit rusting. He lit the pilot for me and showed me how to do it myself. I now have a water heater system that is better than what was originally installed in my house. I highly recommend Dillon and Water Heaters Only.

Our old water heater finally gave out. Called Water Heaters Only, and they sent Brandon out to install a new one.
Brandon was very professional and did a great job!
