Expansion tank on my water heater began to leak one evening through a small pin hole - Midtown Plumbing had a technician at my home the next morning as promised. Emergency after-hours service was available, but I decided to wait until the next day as the leak was not a major issue. The technician swapped out the tank, refilled and tested the system to be sure there were no leaks and the system was performing properly. Quick, easy and an inexpensive repair! I don't recommend peaches plumbing. They give a good estimate but leave the work undone and don't return your calls after receiving the payment in full.
I had a list of plumbing issues including replacing a toilet, changing a sink faucet, cleaning the garbage disposal, fixing the drains of two sinks, and installing an expansion tank and its draining pipe.
The plumber I worked with, Josh, came and inspected the issues and gave me a quote.
Once he started, he found a new leaky pvc pipe above the expansion tank he was going to install and fixed it for free, which I appreciate, but my major issues where sealing (reinstalling) a toilet, fixing a faucet, and cleaning the garbage disposal, which he never delivered!
He charged me in full and disagreed when I asked him to pay half halfway and the rest when all is delivered. Also I agreed to pay extra for installing the toilet, which he broke during sealing it due to a rusty bolt as he said, and the new faucet (he said the washer is off and better buy a new one). Once he received the PayPal payment, he never responded my calls and texts to install the toilet and the fauset he asked me to purchase.
I eventually had to get someone to fix my toilet and faucet separately, which of course cost me a lot of money and time.

I DON'T recommend peaches plumbing if you want to get your job done!

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

I got a couple of estimates for installing a tankless gas water heater and Poole's was the least expensive and felt most knowledgable during the estimation process. The technicians who actually came out to do the installation were great, very professional, did good work and didn't mind me asking a lot of questions. The job turned out to be a little more complicated than expected but they stuck to the estimate. Also, when it came time for it to be inspected, Poole's made this process go very smooth as well. I would definitely recommend them for any tankless water heater installation.

We had a sump pump burn out early in the am. I called Roto-Rooter around 7 and they were here by 9 a.m. It was New Year's Eve and I was really stressed about the possibility of flooding without the sump pump.John came, diagnosed the problem and dealt with it in a timely fashion and with a good attitude. I REALLY appreciated being able to call Roto-Rooter in our time of need. Curtis Snipes and his assistant who just serviced the two HVAC systems in my house are both excellent technicians.

Newcomb came out today for our annual maintenance visit on our a/c. We signed up for a service contract for the first time ever this year. Jonathan did a great job and was very polite and professional. He had booties for his shoes to protect our flooring and carpet, didn't walk through the house with his bucket even though it would have been easier, and even took the initiative to clean off my siding from the grass the landscapers blew on it this morning when he saw it!
P.S. Would love to always have him come out and do the service if possible.

The pump in my septic tank went out. It was a disaster. I texted this company yesterday. They responded to me the same day. They gave me time ranges and a 30-minute window for when they would arrive. They texted me promptly this morning with their arrival time and arrived when they said they would. They talked to me and explained everything that they were doing and made sure I understood. Their pricing was fair and they were very kind and professional. I highly recommend them and would definitely do business with this company again.
