I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

It is with great disappointment that I share my experience with Michael & Sons of Raleigh, urging others to exercise extreme caution when considering their services. This company's staggering incompetence and lack of accountability during the installation of a natural gas water heater, despite clear instructions for a propane unit, has caused significant distress and financial loss for my family.To begin, I engaged Michael & Sons to install a propane water heater in my home. However, they astonishingly installed a natural gas water heater, completely disregarding the explicit written instructions. As a result, they had to perform a second installation to replace the incorrect unit with the proper propane water heater. Unfortunately, this series of errors was only the tip of the iceberg. Shockingly, they left the newly installed propane water heater with a leak, despite being notified about it twice. I cannot stress enough the gravity of this situation, as it posed a severe safety risk to my family. Regrettably, we suffered a loss of over $1000 worth of propane due to this leak, which could have been avoided if Michael & Sons had taken their responsibilities seriously.Adding insult to injury, a water leak emerged in my garage shortly after the water heater installation. This leak was non-existent prior to their intervention, making it evident that their improper installation was the root cause. To make matters worse, when confronted about the issue, the technician, caught on camera, admitted that the water heater installation had been mishandled. How crazy is this, the company really messed up, technicians admitted to it, and still won't own what they did.I let the loss of propane go, mentioned it to the company, still nothing in response. But the water leak too? This was the worst experience I've ever had with an installation and repair company I've ever had.Despite the glaring evidence of their mistakes and negligence, Michael & Sons of Raleigh adamantly refuses to take any responsibility. They not only ignore the harm caused by their actions but also shirk their obligation to rectify the damages. It is utterly unacceptable for a company to abandon its customers in such a distressing situation, failing to provide support or resolution.When the rehabilitation people came (Michael & Sons) they said for me to file with my insurance, which again is another $1000 deductible because they won't own what they did. Sad, miserable people.I implore anyone seeking services from Michael & Sons of Raleigh to proceed with extreme caution. My personal experience with this company has not only resulted in substantial financial losses but has also posed a significant risk to my family's safety. It is crucial to select a service provider that values accountability, professionalism, and customer well-being—qualities that Michael & Sons of Raleigh clearly lacks. You guys are horrible. I was all about working through this but at this point I do not care. I'm so fed up with this company of uneducated fools. I don't need to reach out to Maurice, you guys need to find better techs and own that you guys DO IN FACT MESS UP A LOT.

I've had Westover Plumbing come out for various plumbing issues around my house. I have an upstairs bathroom sink that has never drained well. I have even had another company try to fix it but the fix was temporary. Now it has been several months and it is still draining well! On the same trip I asked them to look at my water heater in my crawl space. It takes forever to get hot water. Glen the owner called me back and said that due to the age of my water heater, he did not recommend doing anything about it now. It would be like making a software upgrade to an iphone 2. I really appreciate the honesty.

I contacted Ck's Plumbing to install a new garbage disposal. The receptionist delivered great customer service and was able to give me a quote over the phone. They called to say they were on their way. They completed the job in no time and were polite. I will definitely recommend their services.
