The schedule window they force you to wait is 4 hours and the plumber never contacts me before he comes.

Pricing:
Requested a plumber to come to install a pressure release pipe to my water heater which is $69 for the on-site fee and $125 for the material and installation fee. After the guy came out, looked for 3 mins, and told me the pipe needed to go outside of the house (even though I told him what I need and want), afterward, I received a bill for a $69 on-site fee, $75 diagnostic fee (for 3 mins that he looks), and $289 installation + material fee.

Conclusion:
Expect to wait at least 3+ hours for someone to show up without notice and expect you will be paying at least twice much when you receive your bill no matter what your quote is

Excellent. PDX Sewer Solutions solved my broken sewer line promptly at a reasonable price. They have been doing this work for 30 years and care about Portland. They also have a good relationship with the city to get permits and inspections completed as needed quickly. You won't find a better team to get the job done right and fast.

We had an issue with our gutter drain field. Even though gutters had been cleaned, they were not draining. Smitty's workers came over and dug up the area. Found the pipe connected, a new drain pipe and a pop-up. This looks like it will take care of the problem. They did good work and were reasonably priced. They put things back as they found them. I would recommend using them for your drain & sewer needs. Kyla

Our plumber Abe was amazing! If I owned a plumbing business I’d hire this guy in a hot minute. He was professional, fast, and taught me how to prevent future drain clogs. I’ll be sure to request Abe for any repairs in the future.

I called for help. They came when they said they would. The estimate was a bit higher than expected . But the service was really great. They not only cleaned out the sewer drain but showed me where my problem was ( a dip in the drain line) and gave suggestions on correction. I followed through with their suggestion. Steve is the first and only rooter person you need to call. He was referred by another plumber and that says a lot right there. He is professional, hard working, and has very reasonable pricing. Unlike other plumbers I've used in the past that'll charge you just to show up.
He also cleared a drain for my wife's practice and was more than half the costs of the last plumber who spent less time and couldn't clear the same drain.
I would give him 6 Stars if possible.

I have used These guys on 3 plumbing projects, both for myself and aging parents. Each time, they did great work, on time, and with no drama.

Mike and his guys were knowledgeable about products (water heaters) and gave great advice about a tankless heater that fit the bill perfectly. All of the crew was nice to deal with, showed up on time, and left the job site clean and neat.

There was one problem-the computer gizmo that controls the new water heater went out shortly after the install. The board was replaced within a day of calling, no drama, no questions, no charge and even an apology-even though it wasn’t their fault.

Are they the cheapest? No idea, but the work was certainly priced within my expectations. They will be my first call for all future plumbing projects.

We had a leak in our main water line. It turned into a massive job because the leak detection company had difficulty locating the leak. Sarkinen plumbing had to do a great deal of work for me over a number of weeks. Derek and Daniel were both co-leading the job. Both are extremely professional, genuine and responsive. I was in a pretty desperate situation, and was afraid that they would try to take advantage of me. They didn't at all. They were honest, direct, and clear with their communication, and very reasonable and fair with their charges. I HIGHLY recommend Sarkinen. I feel strongly you can trust them to be reasonable, and deliver responsive, high quality work that they'll stand behind.

The plumber, Adam was fantastic as usual, diagnosing the issue quick and discussing the solution with me for confirmation and approval of potential cost. Adam has performed admiral work on our property each time, he ends up solving what we worried was an unsolvable long time mystery. It has helped us to prioritize our property and our budget. He is pleasant, on time and professional. And he always cleans up very well from his work. My residents love that. Apollo is terrific at customer service and discussing my needs and their ability so that I am able to make an informed decision.

As relatively new home owners, the thought of calling a plumber was one filled with nervousness. Rowe plumbing took away much of that nervousness by giving us a good quote over the phone and explaining what the problem most likely was. He came, fixed the problem and stuck to the quote, which was very fair. I recommend using Rowe as it is as hassle free as a plumbing call can be.
