I had a lot of trepidation about replacing galvanized network of service pipes (some leaking) in a mostly finished basement in a 96 year old house. From Eric’s initial assessment to the discovery and installation work done by Lars and Ameila, the work was done by consummate professionals. I appreciated Lars’ approach to problem solving since a few unexpected situations came up that he was able to address. The team kept things clean and talked through each stage of the project clearly. I would recommend 3 Mountains to anyone looking for a reliable plumbing firm.

Wow! What an amazing team they have! Everyone I interacted with via email, text, or phone was professional, courteous, and concise.

In particular, Kamryn was outstanding! He oversaw the entire process of helping us solve a complicated repair of a party sewer line (shared with neighbor) that ran about 100' out to the public sewer main below our home on vacant land owned by the city.

Kamryn did a great job of explaining our options and being the go between with our neighbor's since we live in another state. He went above and beyond to explain all of the price breakdown and the process.

We opted to go with their recommended CIPP process which allows them to repair the existing pipes by inserting a liner/sleeve into the pipes to seal any joint separations or cracks in the pipes and making them better than new!

I can't recommend them highly enough for any sewer work you need done!

Mario was awesome. We were having gutters put in and needed an outside drain cap cut off in a hurry for a new downspout. We could not find a soul to do that. This was a dinky job but he did it anyway and quickly. He also gave us advice that saved us a huge headache and a ton of money had we listened to another company. Plus, he was just so pleasant and professional. We would hire him for any larger job in a heartbeat. Thanks Mario simply for being blunt and honest!

It was time to replace my water heater, which was located in a small cubby hole under a kitchen counter - very difficult to get into. I had one plumber over who tried to tell me I would need to remodel my bathroom to get the old tank out. Another plumber pretty much laughed in my face and said good luck with that. It was so discouraging.
When Pipeline Plumbing took a look, the gentleman was unphased by the location, and said yeah we can do this. They were scheduling about a month out, but they were worth the wait. The cost of the install was very fair.
On the day of, the same guy and another guy from Pipeline arrived earlier than scheduled. After many curse words, and I don't know how we're gonna do this overheard, and lots of shimmying, they got the old tank out! They put in a new one in a better spot so it can be accessed more easily.
The guys were friendly, answered all my questions, and kindly cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Pipeline and will definitely contact them for plumbing needs in the future.

Abe came for an estimate about a bad smell coming from a closet which I thought was sewage. He didn't find any leaks but the smell could be coming from an old furnace in the crawl space. He was very kind and tried his best to help me figure out my next steps, including making a phone call to provide me with recommendations. Oh, and there was no charge for any of this!

Alan is a Portland treasure. Twice he’s come out on short notice when no one else could. Such a humble, unassuming person who knows his craft and takes pride in the work. Reasonable and fair pricing. Forget about all the big fancy plumbing companies with hundreds of reviews. You’ll be calling Alan to fix their mistakes.

We called on a Monday evening at about 530pm and got a call same day about 2 hours later and they were able to come out the next morning. They were very professional, courteous, informative and were done in about 45 minutes. Nothing but good things to say about this company I would use them again and refer them to anyone that needed this type of service.

I called looking for help with a very clogged tub - the water wasn't draining at all - and it had been several days. The fact that they did not charge to come out and look/give me an estimate offered me a sigh of relief. Others whom I had called charged a substantial fee just to show up - and while I understand why they do that, it was just too unnerving - because I already knew it was going to cost a lot - plumbing is just expensive - no matter how you look at it; I didn't want to commit to anything before I saw the bottom line.

Anyway, Patrick was in the neighborhood and was able to show up the same day. He was polite, considerate, and to the point. Gave me my options and did the work. I especially appreciate that (as he says) his company wants to help educate their clients - which benefits the client AND the relationship with CCP&D. He gave me simple suggestions for maintenance, which I really appreciate. And I will NEVER AGAIN use Drano.

The best plumber in Portland! They do exactly what they say they will. Good guys give them a call.

A couple nights ago, my bathroom sink started flooding and I had to called Best Portland Plumbers. They were at my house in surprisingly short order & effectively fixed the flood. Will use again as needed in the future!

Green Box was very helpful in locating and creating a repair plan for a difficult to access leak in one of our sewage pipes.

Chad came to my site, was very willing to help and offered additional help in contacting and speaking to the City of Portland for information to obtain the necessary permit. Thank you Chad/Apollo!

We had a water hammer issue and also had a water heater issue at a different time. A call to Sarkinen resolved both issues in short order. Speedy service is always at the top of the list. With very knowligable
Service people ,who had the parts in hand, the repairs were done with a single service call on both repairs.

I had a clogged kitchen drain that I had try to snake myself. After unsuccessfully doing it, I reached out to multiple places and Jack Howk was the only one able to make it out over the weekend. They came out the next day and took care of it quickly and professionally! I definitely recommend using them!

Left this on Yelp, too, but just want to get the word out on a great plumber: Had a great experience with Steve Ackerman (the son)! Called with a leak issue (from the ceiling), and while they couldn't work me in for a couple of days initially, they called back shortly after the same day when they had a cancellation. Steve arrived when he said he would, was polite, personable, and thorough. He tried to minimize the damage he had to do to the drywall to find the cause of the leak, and he explained every step of the way. It required another trip out to the house to get everything resolved (to allow time for drying of wet wood), but he was efficient, thorough, and left my house even a bit cleaner than when he arrived. Nice guy, obviously very knowledgeable about what he does, and he gave great advice. I will DEFINITELY use him if I ever need a plumber again.

On-time, did a fast job, fixed the problem and the rates were reasonable. The technician was also a family man and appreciated our toddler situation. Would definitely recommend!

I have had terrible water pressure since I bought my house 5 years ago. It took forever for the water to run warm anywhere-we just got used to that. After my house was re-piped, the difference is incredible! I am so thrilled to have had this project completed and I will refer My Plumbing to anyone for their plumbing needs.
The crew that worked on my house were professional, thorough and most important to me: ON TIME!
Additionally, they found a ring behind my bathroom vanity that is very special to my mom and she is beyond excited to have it recovered. ☺

I hate to give a company 1 star really and I will leave it up to the company to improve their reputation if they simply follow through. I got off work early to meet the plumbers. The two plumbers were on time and both were nice guys we are having issues with water pressure and and had a few other small improvements and fixes we needed done. All I wanted was a quote and if all seemed well we would proceed. Wednesday right before they left the plumber said ok I write up a quote and I'll have it to you in a couple days He implied he would email it. I gave him the benefit of the doubt when nothing showed up on Friday. Even Monday. I just assume he had the wrong email and called on Tuesday. The woman who answered the phone was cordial and seemed not to concerned and said she would remind the guys to send me a quote.

All week nothing. I am getting upset at this point as my wife is asking me about the progress. I call again next Tuesday and this time I sound frustrated because I am, I am not mean but I expect a company to simply do what they say and I expressed this to her. She was very apologetic this time and said I will call so and so right now and make sure he gets that to you. It has now been 3 weeks since that phone call and frankly I moved on the evening after that call when their quote by email or phone never showed up.

I wouldn't want to be in any sort of business transaction with a company that isn't able to follow through with such a seemingly simply thing. I am sure their work is good and they are perfectly capable but as a potential customer reading this these are things I would want to know ahead of time.
