Fixed the problem, but does not work well with insurance company. Also does not return calls timely, if at all.

It is not easy to find home services that are trustworthy, skilled, dependable and friendly, but we sure hit the jackpot with Sutherland Plumbing!

We have called on Sutherland Plumbing several times, the first was years ago, meeting Ty himself. A true professional, we made sure to keep their contact information for future needs. We've since had friends who have used their services and agree, they are the best!

Most recently, I needed to find the source of a leak. Cameron arrived as scheduled, and was honest and sincere in his estimations about what our issue was. I also had him look at the fixtures and toilet in one of our bathrooms, and again he was honest with what we needed. Cameron clearly communicated exactly what he would do, and followed this up with an estimate that landed in my email before I got back home!

When Cameron and Jack returned to do the work, it was completed in a timely manner, and they cleaned everything up and took away the old materials. They had to cut into the drywall, and did such a great job with that, it will be an easy fix.

Highly recommend Vitaliy for your plumbing needs! He responded quickly to an emergency callout and saved our house from a potential water disaster. We've had him out several times for various projects and he always does an amazing job at a reasonable price.

Pex to the rescue! I'd been quoted a truly huge number by another local plumbing service and I was so worried about how I was going to pay for the repipe and my mortgage. Greg came over right away, he was even a little early. He was really thorough and my dogs both liked him.

He told me how the repipe would go, when his team would arrive, what I should keep an eye on and even which plants would probably die as a result of the new water system install (it's fine, I didn't like that one anyway). He showed me pictures of the new hardware they would install and talked me through everything that would happen after they were done from the inspection to the drywall fix, which was included in the price of the repipe (the other company I'd gotten a quote from did not include repipe or guarantee against any damage to the house).

I appreciated that he gave me a discount for paying with check, and that he didn't pressure me to make a choice right away. Even though my problem was slightly urgent, he trusted me to know when I was going to be making my housing decisions. Also, his price-point was almost too good to be true after what the other company quoted me. I looked up average prices for a repipe in Portland and it was the other company who was way off base price-wise. They most have thought I didn't have another option.

The day of, Enrique, Gaven and Jason arrived when we expected them to, they did what they said they would do and even wiped down and re-arranged the cleaning products under the sink when they were done. My kitchen sink has always been backwards but they fixed it while they were piping, they also did a new toilet install the same day because I'd mentioned that I always hated my toilet and it turns out it was really affordable to add it on.

While they were working they used drop cloths to protect our floors and other furniture and they left things clean and tidy. The repipe itself took one day and the only spots where you could even tell someone did major work is where the drywall had to be cut. Also, they were patient with our dogs who were barking a lot at all the noise.

I'm so relieved to have this done and taken care of, Deanne in the office was quick to respond to my questions and pleasant to talk to every time.

I was referred to Nichols Plumbing to replace a water valve for my refrigerator to be installed. Bob was able to come out the next day and checked it. He also discovered the valve was working and didn't need to be replaced after all, so he only charged me for coming out. He is honest and friendly. I highly recommend hiring Nichols Plumbing!

Super professional and clean. He wore a mask and gloves the whole time, I felt safe having their service person, Aaron, in my home.

Quick response time, easy to work with, friendly -- I was very happy with the service.

Things started out great. But ended in the worst experience I have ever had with someone doing work in my home, and left me feeling unsafe.

My husband set up the appointment and I was there alone with my two toddler-age kids when the two employees arrived. They were kind and congenial. In fact, one offered to show me how he installed something so I could do it myself on a different tub if desired. Great service. When the employee was finished, my husband called the employee with some questions about the bill. If you care, they were rate-related questions detailed below. If not, skip to next paragraph:

One question was about the rate we were charged being different than the rate agreed upon by phone beforehand (Which Paul, the boss, confirmed when he finally listened.) The second question was about how much time he was logging. He was charging us for time filling out the invoice, for example. (A previous plumber we used had the invoice and payment ready within sixty seconds. This plumber took 15 minutes out in the car after he finished the work. Seems nitpicky... but really adds up at $160 an hr. When you consider we are being charged for transportation time to the site, that means we are paying a total of $75 for time they are not doing plumbing work).

At the end of the conversation my husband asked to talk to Paul to verify the rate. Meanwhile, I had no idea what is going on, but within about sixty seconds into the phone conversation, I hear the employee downstairs yelling on the phone to my husband. I was upstairs in my bedroom with my two young children. The employee then called his boss and was ranting loudly about my husband as the employee walked up the stairs to my bedroom. At that point, this large male who was speaking loudly and aggressively was standing in my bedroom between me and the door, about five feet away from me and my children, both of whom were wide-eyed staring at the man yelling about my husband. I motioned and quietly asked him to please finish the conversation downstairs. He did not stop or move and instead said loudly into the phone Now they're both suddenly unsatisfied.

Honestly this is a major safety issue. The employee was so congenial and appropriate up until that point, and escalated so quickly that I wondered if he has an anger management issue. Here are a few rules that I should not have to tell you: Do not walk up the stairs to my bedroom while you're yelling on the phone. Do not stand in my bedroom, between me and the doorway while yelling on the phone. If a female with young children in tow, politely asks you (a stranger acting aggressively and unpredictably) to leave her bedroom, you say Oh my goodness, of course. You do not argue with her.

I probably wouldn't even be writing this review, if I had gotten a response from Paul (the boss and owner) that indicated he understood the gravity of the problem. Instead, Paul was defensive. His first response to me when I told him what was happening was settle down and then well yeah, he was upset because your husband wasn't paying the bill (This is not at all true. The employee told my husband he'd have to talk to Paul to verify what rate was quoted and then he hung up on my husband. There was no threat whatsoever of not paying, and Paul jumped to this conclusion before even talking to my husband.). Once I told Paul it would be really wise to just listen well and recognize that this is an important safety issue and that the employee needs to take responsibility for his actions regardless of whoever is making him mad on the phone, he finally said okay, okay, he understood and would reprimand the employee.

Frankly, it seemed pretty clear to me that Paul didn't see it as a serious issue. That is concerning. He was apparently more apologetic to my husband and said they have all be working really hard and are tired. I hope indeed this was an anomaly, but we won't be using them again and wouldn't recommend them.

Great plumbing company

Simpson has been great to work with, from scheduling to estimating and final work being done. Couldn't be happier!

I hired Einstein to fix my leaking dishwasher. They did a great job. Fast, efficient, and polite. I would hire them again!

I called Beaverton Plumbing in the morning and they were there in an hour. Our hot water heater didn't work. It turned out that we needed to replace it. But the replacement water heater was in stock and it was replaced within an hour and a half. The plumber was efficient, friendly and good at his job. We were charged a fair price and the plumber left the area clean and took the old heater.
I will definately use these guys again.

Tony was great! Like Sherlock , he used both tools and deduction to identify the problem and suggested ways to resolve and prevent recurrence. On time , the rarest of qualities!

Great technician, did excellent work. Disappointed with pricing ie. Charging 3/4 hour extra for travel time when we are 10 min from shop.

I have used Mick's Plumbing a number of times. Honest, reliable. I wouldn't consider anyone else.
