We contacted Nick at Pacific Crest Plumbing because we wanted to replace our 20-year-old water heater before it failed. Nick was really great at providing information via text about the water heater replacement and several other plumbing questions I had asked. We were impressed that he clearly took time to research my questions and provide answers, including helpful links and diagrams.

We got three bids for the water heater replacement, and the other two were very similar to Nick's. But we knew we wanted to go with Nick, even if his bid had been higher than the others. He was excellent at communicating with us, and he always did what he said he would do - in the timeframe he said he would do it. He walked us through the process every step of the way and made us feel very relaxed and secure about our decisions.

Nick was very courteous once he was at our home. He was conscious of the possibility of tracking in mud, and he told us ahead of time when he would be shutting off the gas and water supplies. He was neat and tidy with his work area. He brought all the supplies he needed with him, and he cleaned up everything before he left. We really can't think of a way that the service could have been better. We will definitely call Nick and Pacific Crest again if we have other plumbing needs!

I returned from vacation late last week to a bum hot water heater. I called Pacific Crest Plumbing, and despite a busy schedule during the holidays, Anna was sympathetic and helpful, fitting me in so that I didn't have to live without hot water any longer.

Nick installed the new tank (it's a beaut, too!) himself, and then took the time to ensure I understood everything he did and how to work the controls. He also repaired my toilet, a problem that I sprung on him when he arrived, and offered advice on some additional work I need done.

This was, hands down, the best experience I've ever had with a plumbing company. They are kind, helpful, professional, and, best of all, honest. They've definitely made a new friend and loyal customer. I no longer fear plumbing problems!

Nick is great. He has handled a few things for us at our house and my mother-in-law's house. He is super-timely, efficient, and gets things done. Just today he juggled his schedule to fix a shower that had blown a seal and was leaking into our basement, in time for a guest that would need to use that shower. Nick is extremely responsive and a problem solver.

I had a water issue in my basement and contacted Nick regarding leak detection. He advised me over the phone how to save money by performing my own leak detection. After I was unable to determine the source of the leak, he later came out to my home on short notice to perform leak detection at no cost. I am very happy with Nick's service would recommend his company for any plumbing issue.

My first job with them was when my water main broke and started leaking into our finished basement. They came out to diagnose it the same day I called, helped me mitigate it, and were out the next morning to replace it. They coordinated the contractors and permitting necessary to get the job done, and have showed up on time, with notice, whenever they are coming over.

Today was easy: What I thought was a leaking hose bib they determined to be my dryer vent leaking into the gap above the ceiling and condensing on the cold water input. Nick left me with a plan for confirming it and an easy fix I can manage on my own.

Having had a lot of troubles with this house over the years (how many different ways can a finished basement leak?!), the folks at Pacific Crest Plumbing have been refreshingly reliable and easy to work with.

Nick came out to my house today as my bath was leaking water and I couldn't get it to stop. He presented me with very detailed and straight forward options for repairing the issue. Once he started on the washer replacement and determined this would not fix the problem, we needed to go with option #2. Nick did not charge me for #1 or the visit itself! We're setting up an appointment to go with option #2. I look forward to giving them my business for both this repair and my future plumbing needs!

When my water pipes burst and the crawl space space was flooded, Nick and his aprentice came as soon as possible and fix it expediently--I felt so fortunate to have their expertise and care. Recommended highly.

They found 2nd floor tub drain leak that made plaster fall off 1st floor ceiling. Replaced tub drain and piping. Replaced sheetrock that had been cut away to find the leak. Replastered ceiling area of original leak.

It couldn't have gone better. We got an appt much sooner than other plumbers. They were thorough, expert and professional in every way. We didn't expect the replastering but they did a beautiful job and included it in the quoted price. Sheetrocking was perfect too. We will certainly use Nick and his team for all future plumbing needs.

Pacific Crest Plumbing has helped me out in several awful emergency situations--sewage backing up into the basement, clogged (really clogged) kitchen sink and have also installed a new toilet for me in a non-emergent situation. Each time I call, they are extremely accessible answering late night messages in a timely fashion and generally always answering the phone during normal business hours. Nick and his employees are always professional and the work performed is always well done--three years later and all is well with the toilet! Prices are always reasonable too.

Nick fixed my kitchen sink today for a very reasonable price especially considering he had to work me into his busy day (sink clogged up last night). At 8 pm tonight, it was draining a bit slow so I called and left a message hoping to speak with them in the morning. Was I surprised when Nick called me right back! He stayed on the phone while we did some trouble shooting and then made a plan going forward. I was stressed about the darned sink but now will sleep comfortably knowing Pacific Crest has it under control.

One of the larger and highly rated plumbers told us that we had to replace our water main at a cost of close to $4,000. Nick came out to take a look and his experience told him that the way the water meter was moving wasn’t consistent with a water main leak. He fixed a small leak in our shower which fully resolved the issue. We came close to spending $4,000 on the wrong repair and Nick saved us. Nick did a great job tearing out some old DIY plumbing and getting our utility room up to snuff! Was more than willing to give helpful advice on a few other pluming questions we had for him and even took a look at our sink for us.

My initial reason for calling a plumber was a faucet replacement, but Treven had no problem with my laundry list of additional issues while he was here. He was patient answering all my questions about our aging plumbing. I had to decide how extensively he should address the older plumbing lines connecting to the sink and he gave me enough info that I felt comfortable leaving that part until a future repipe of the house. In short, he didn't insist I replace something now that will be replaced when we repipe the house in the near future. I also didn't anticipate that I could get a discount on the faucet I wanted through s specific provider until I spoke with the gal in the office to set up the appointment. Perhaps that's something most plumbers offer, but I didn't expect it and it really saved money!

Long overdue review. Had a serious leak in an aux. shut off valve awhile back, late on a Sunday night. After doing a quick online search for area plumbers, I decided to call PCP and left a message, not expecting a call until the next morning. I was amazed to receive a return call within minutes from the owners wife. An appointment was made for the following day. Assuming that he already had other appointments (which he did), I was again surprised to receive a phone call early the next day alerting me that Nick (the owner) was on his way.

When he arrived, he was very friendly and personable. He made a quick and very fair estimate of work needing to be done, and did it in a timely and professional manner. He even took the time to look at a few other issues around the house, and instead of jumping on a possible money earning job for his company (like some other chain contractors in the area), he honestly informed us that work wasn't necessary.

Last night I found my water heater was leaking. I knew it was 20 years old and needed to be replaced. I called a friend, who recommended Nate Deleganes of Pacific Crest Plumbing. I called and spoke to his very helpful wife. She worked me into Nate's schedule, and coordinated our schedules so that Nate and I arrived at my home about the same time. Nate was quick, courteous about my house and cleaning up after himself and his apprentice. He showed me what I needed to know about the new water heater and took away the old one. If you have to replace a water heater, this is as easy and as fair priced as it gets.

Yesterday, late afternoon we discovered water on our basement floor. So we called Pacific Crest Plumbing. I asked the receptionist if anyone was available immediately, knowing that the chances were slim. She said she couldn't get anyone there right away, but the owner could come out early this morning. And Nick and an apprentice arrived this morning, as expected. They quickly diagnosed the cause of the problem, explained it to us, and then fixed it.

I would recommend Nick and his assistant for their prompt response, expert diagnosis and repair, and also because they are nice people.

My 18-year-old water heater died, and since I wanted an American-made replacement I went to the Bradford White web site to find a plumber in Portland who installs Bradford White water heaters. That's how I ended up finding Pacific Crest Plumbing. What an excellent experience in every way! Nick came out the next day to check out my situation and determine what tools and other parts would be needed so things would go smoothly, and the next morning he texted me to let me know that he was on the way. He did a beautiful professional job, clearly explained things, and answered all my questions. He even discovered something weird with my switch panel and pointed it out to me so I can have it checked by an electrician. Communication was excellent, and on top of it all, he's a really nice easygoing guy, very easy to deal with. HIGHLY recommended. He will be my go-to plumber from now on.

I had some work done by Casey's Plumbing, that ultimately I wasn't satisfied with, nor was the root of the problem fixed. Casey's was going to charge me again to come out to fix what should have been found and fixed the first time they came out. I called Nick at Pacific Crest for a second opinion. Nick spent a significant amount of time with me on the phone to evaluate the problem, he felt bad for me when he found out how much Casey's charged me for a relative simple job, that didn't even solve the problem. I told Nick I wanted him to come and evaluate. He came over to our house solved the problem and explained simply how to fix it myself. He could have charged me several hundred more dollars, but instead he told me how to fix it and didn't even charge me for the service call. I was amazed at his customer service. I have never received that kind of professional courtesy. Nick will be my go to guy for plumbing from here on out. Never again will I call Casey's. I highly recommend Pacific Crest Plumbing.

The thing about a plumber is that you don't realize how important a good one is until you find your toilet is backing up or your basement is flooding in the middle of a torrential downpour in Portland. In both cases, the first people we called were the folks at Pacific Crest Plumbing. Anna and Nick are two of the finest people I've had the pleasure of working with and I can't recommend them enough.

Aside from Nick's attention to detail, it is his honesty that I find most refreshing. When we had him come out to bid on a job, instead of trying to upsell us on stuff we didn't need, he gave us level-headed advice and actually talked us out of some more expensive options.

I had a faucet that was running slow. Nick came out and looked at it. He took it apart and found that a washer had sucked inside the line. He got it running better. We talked about it and it was a builders model faucet so I asked about an upgrade. He told me about a few different faucets and said his office would send me a few links to faucets we talked about. I chose a Delta Touch faucet, Nick came out and installed it and I LOVE it. How cool is it to wave my hand over the faucet and have it come on. No more dirty hands having to touch the handles to turn it on. I couldn't be happier, a great product and great service.

Nick installed a new dishwasher and disposal for us and resolved some issues with plumbing in the kitchen. For starters he removed our old dishwasher that three other plumbers couldn’t remove. He was great at communicating everthing with me throughout the process. He will be my first option for any plumbing work going forward. My family has much respect and appreciation for him!

Second time I’ve used Nick to replace a hot water heater. It says a lot when you remember someone from over 10 years ago! I was so impressed with the quality of the water heater and his professional kind service that I knew I didn’t want to go with anyone else when it was time to replace it again. We recently had our gas water heater spring a leak late at night. We'd had Pacific Crest Plumbing work on a bathroom addition a few years prior and have had no issues with that work, so called them up first thing in the morning to see if they could help us quickly. Nick was able to stop at the house a couple hours later after earlier appointments, and after looking at the unit and confirming its death, we talked through options and he provided a quote and the possibility of an install of a new gas unit the following morning. He kept us aware of his arrival time the morning of the install, and the work was cleanly done. The workmanship was good and we talked through the operation afterwards. I'd definitely recommend him for any plumbing work.

The BEST!!! Our water main broke on a busy Friday afternoon so we frantically called anyone we could find to get to us right away. That turned out to be a disaster! Once they turned the water off and left we were able to calm down & gather our thoughts We started to look at other options and RATINGS. Nick wasted no time and came out to assess the situation first thing the next morning (Sat). He was so friendly, polite, and understood our situation perfectly. He really is such a great guy and very professional. He had the situation under control and completely taken care of within just a few days. Thank you Anna, Nick and Treven! I had a great experience with this company. There was a leak in my main line that was getting worse and could of ended up a major problem. I hired a leak detection company and knew where the leak was coming from. I saw there reviews for this company and decided to call them. They're a small family owned business and I spoke with Anna. She said that they were currently in the middle of something and would call back. She called back when she said she would and let me talk with Nick, who after I explained the situation in detail gave me a very fair estimate. Treven came on time and I showed him the area. I thought that he might have to cut into the driveway but he dig it out with out hurting the asphalt. The problem was fixed and they were done in less than an hour and a half. I was discounted the estimated price for breaking and replacing the asphalt. Great team. Would recommend them and use them again if I ever have a problem in the future.

Superior customer service at the best price ever! I called them because the flow in my kitchen sink was low - so, not an emergency. Nonetheless, although they were fully booked, they managed to squeeze me into their schedule. Nick spent at least a half hour at my house (figuring out not just the kitchen sink problem, but also examining and giving me advice about a shower issue and an aging water heater) and when it was all over, he refused to take ANY money! Who ever heard of having 30 minutes of a plumber's time for free? I couldn't be more pleased, and will definitely call Pacific Crest for any future plumbing issue.

This is the second time I've used Pacific Crest Plumbing to do work on my home built in the 1950's. My pipes started flooding my basement and with a 4 month old in the house I needed to get the job done quickly and done well. I was worried about having to wait a long time due to Covid 19, but as always, Nick was able to provide high quality work, at a great price and get here quickly (within 2 business days). He provided advice on how to stop the leakage and not cause anymore problems before he got here. I definitely plan on calling them again, when it comes time to redoing the plumbing in my home.

I met Nick after another local outfit fixed the main shut off valve in my basement. The fix was needed after discovering that my water bill had unexpectedly jumped from previous usage and in the steps to determine if there was a leak inside or outside of the house. Because the main shut off was faulty that was the first needed step. The first plumber did indeed replace the main shut off inside the house for 550$. Being a first time homeowner and not being a plumber by trade I assumed that the cost was industry standard. After the shut off was repaired the plumber confirmed that the meter was still spinning and that the mystery leak was outside, meaning that I would need a new water main at a cost of 5300$ of which they would deduct the 550$ we paid for the shut off to be replaced. The price tag was way beyond what we could financially swallow with out a second opinion. Thats how I met Nick. He came out the same day to access and bid the water main replacement. 2775$ was the bid he gave and even apologized that it wasn’t less given the short distance to the house but that there are minimums on equipment which I completely understood. Nick was very honest and upfront about what needed to be done. I asked about a “re-plumb” of the entire house which was being very strongly pitched by the other two outfits that I took bids from. Nick asked, “why, is something broken or not working well?” In fact we don’t have any notable water or plumbing needs or problems. That exchange demonstrated that Nick wasn’t at my house to get my money, he was there to do an honest job and help me sort out the problem at hand. Nick did an incredible job with prep to protect the inside of my house and the clean up was as if he’d never been there. On parting Nick even said I could text him plumbing pictures/questions in the future and he’d help triage the situation for me. That kind of service comes from values that we should all aspire too. Nick is a now a permanent in my contacts list as Nick the plumber and now if someone asks if I know a plumber I can enthusiastically say, “yeah, I know a guy.”

Nick is truly amazing. I called Pacific Crest Plumbing for help installing a new drain assembly in my pedestal sink. It seemed like a pretty straight forward job, but I was struggling to access the pipes behind the base of the pedestal sink. I thought I was going to have to remove the pedestal sink, which was more than I wanted to take on by myself. When I called Pacific Crest, Nick let me know that he had retired but nonetheless asked me what I needed help with and told me that, because he loves plumbing, he'd be happy to answer any questions I have. This was exactly what I needed. This is the first time I've tried to do basic plumbing, so I'm learning as I go. I've been learning from YouTube videos and online reading. Nick explained the basics of my project and helped me troubleshoot some issues, while also giving his opinion on the cost range to hire a plumber and some plumber recommendations. With the new info Nick gave me, I decided to give my project one more shot, and it worked! I got the drain installed and there doesn't appear to be leaks. Thank you, Nick! I'm beyond grateful for your help.

I came home from vacation to a $1200 dollar water bill and a major leak. I called Pacific Crest, explained the situation, and Nick was able to come out same day.

Nick was able to quickly and thoroughly diagnose the situation and get it handled. He was clearly knowledgeable and also quite friendly. I didn't feel any pressure or that I was being taken advantage of.

At the end he even gave advice on negotiating my water bill with the city. I hope I don't need him for anything else but if I do he has a customer for life.

Top notch service! I recently had an underground pipe leak, and Nick quickly assessed the problem, returned with the needed supplies, successfully patched the leak, and charged me a very reasonable price. I cannot say enough good things about Nick, his wife Anna, and their crew. We had a pipe break during an ice storm, and I could not find any plumbers to come out to fix our main line because I think many others were in the same boat. We had no water at home, so Nick shuffled clients around to get out the same day to look at our pipe, and it was fixed the next day. They were so helpful, friendly, and professional through the process of navigating the repairs, the city inspections, and the homeowner's insurance process. I highly recommend Pacific Crest for all your plumbing needs!

We had a main line break between the meter & our house at night. Nick came out the next day to look at the job, gave an estimate and came out when he got the needed supplies to fix our problem. He was honest, timely and we will call again if we need plumbing services. He helped us out about 5 years ago with a job so we called him first thing.

Fast, professional and informative! Nick is really the best. I've used him three times on my rental property as well as here in my home. He is always very quick to respond, offers very clear options, and always explains the best way to do things. He is clear, articulate, and very easy to work with. Nick did amazing work for us. He repiped our house and couldn't have been more professional and thorough. The work was done perfectly with as little disruption to our house as possible. I thought I had a plumbing problem in my bathroom and so called Nick's company. However Nick discovered it was not a plumbing issue. The wetness and mold were from poorly installed tiling and a crack in the grout line in the shower.

Nick showed me the problems that were causing the moisture issue so the bathroom can be done properly. He also pointed out 2 dangers in the bathroom that I was previously unaware.
He was respectful, knowledgeable, prompt and gave me names of a reputable tiler and an electrician. I am very grateful for his thoroughness and concern for my family's safety.

I had suspected there was a water leak behind my shower, but I turned a blind eye for several months until the dribbling stream of water (through the tile under the spigot!) made it crystal clear that willful ignorance was no longer my best option.I found Nick (Pacific Crest Plumbing) on Angies List and Yelp and after reading reviews I had him come out to assess my situ. I liked his demeanor, professionalism and honesty, and I also felt immediately secure in his knowledge and experience. He quoted me a price that was right in line with what I was thinking, so I hired him for the job.

Nick and his assistant arrived right on time, and the experience was stress-free and very pleasant. What was most impressive was how efficient and TIDY they were ... even sweeping and wiping down my kitchen floor, as well as vacuuming up the dust and schmootz (they had to cut through a wall). Very nice! If/when future plumbing needs come up, I will definitely call Nick.

My husband and I bought an older Portland home earlier this year, and we've had a few plumbing issues that needed to be addressed, including a potential repiping of the house. We called Nick and he came out, gave us an estimate, and was very honest about costs and what the work would entail. He did not try to sell us the most expensive solution, but rather gave us options and increments of work he could do to see if initial steps would fix the problem, to prevent us from having to pay thousands of dollars to repipe when it may not be necessary. Ultimately we went with the first step of fixing the problem, which was less expensive, and it also helped our problem quite a bit.

Since then we've had a few other issues, and he and his team have fixed them quickly and very efficiently. My husband and I are very happy with the service, including the very quick email and/or phone support. I would HIGHLY recommend Pacific Crest Plumbing to anyone with plumbing issues! We already have a few more plumbing projects we plan to have them do for us in the future. :)

Okay, well they say that for every bad review you probably have 10 or more good one's that don't get written, or something like that. SO... I needed to write a GREAT review for Pacific Crest Plumbing. Nick, his assistant and his wife are great people. They really care about the job they are doing for their customers. They are quick with an estimate and will explain everything in detail. They guarantee their work and will give you options depending on your budget. ( I had my entire plumbing replaced with Pex, a new water heater installed and a few faucet repairs) They were on time, did a great job at a reasonable price and with a great sense of humor. To prove this, I played a nasty prank on them on April 1st and told them that my plumbing had sprung a leak. I've never had a company respond so quickly before. After calming Nick's wife down when I explained it was a joke, we all had a good laugh. Yeah, it was mean and I would probably never do that again... but Nick said that hardly anyone ever gets him on April Fools, so I hope they forgave me. But seriously, if you are looking for an honest company that stands behind their work, these are the people to call. Absolutely fantastic, above-and-beyond service. Nick is a great guy and I can't recommend him highly enough... he went out of his way, with kindness and good humor, to help me out of a ridiculous situation I created for myself in a misguided DIY attempt.

These are the best guys to work with! I've worked with numerous contractors this year rehabing my house and these are the best guys I worked with. At the end of each day they walked me through their work, showing me the progress , explaining what they accomplished and answering any question I had. I would recommend them to anyone and I am so happy with the work they did for my 1906 house that had out of date and illegal plumbing from the previous home improvement owners.

Our tenants recently called to inform us that they were left a notice from the Portland Water Bureau stating they had excessive water usage. Being out of town I searched Google and called several plumbing companies and was impressed with the response, knowledge and professionalism from Pacific Crest Plumbing. They were able to fit a new line replacement and coordinate with our tenants. Very happy with our experience and definitely recommend.

Based on the recommendations I contacted Pacific Crest after receiving a very large water bill. I wishfully thought that maybe I had a running toilet, easy fix I thought. After doing a little investigating myself it was clear the issue was not my toilet but rather I had a broken water line. The same day I called the owner came out and confirmed what I suspected, I did have a broken line. Nick was friendly and polite, he took time to explain what needed to be done and the timeframe the work could be completed in. I was very pleased with my experience, everything went as discussed and they did such a good job cleaning up that when they were done you couldn't even tell they were here!
