Meticulous Plumbing

I've been using Meticulous as my go-to plumbing resource for a few years now and have been consistently impressed with how responsive they are, how well they diagnose problems and explain issues all while giving me options and being flexible. They text when they are on their way, I've never had a no-show, and their high quality of work always impresses me. The entire experience starting from the website, to an appointment, through the estimate and project phases, has been enjoyable, stress-free, and reliable. Highly recommend!

In March/April, I had a plumbing leak under my house. I called Meticulous Plumbing to repair the leak. Erin was professional and very transparent with the quote and the worked that needed to be done. After much back and forth with the remediation company, Erin was finally able to complete a temporary fix on both the kitchen drain and a hot water line. She explain to me that the plumbing was very old and need to be updated (mixture of galvanized and pvc), since Erin was familiar with the house layout, I had Meticulous provide a quote for a whole house update.

Fast forward to August..... Meticulous just completed my whole house update and did a fantastic job. Seth and Josh were very professional throughout the whole process, giving me daily updates on their progress and were able to answer any questions that I had.

From the office personnel (Anne and Tamara) to the craftspeople of Erin, Seth and Josh, Meticulous has a fantastic team and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Since, I have a newly plumbed housed, I probably won't need them in the future :-), but I would definitely hire them again!

I have used Meticulous plumbing for several jobs, most recently to replace a water line. They live up to their name. Their work is simply the best.

My second experience with Meticulous Plumbing. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Meticulous is the definition of extraordinary customer experience.

Everything went smoothly, from scheduling the quote to the final installation. I would highly recommend Meticulous Plumbing and would use them again. Terry was great to work with and he always wore a mask for our interactions. He was prompt and completed the job faster than expected.

We have used Meticulous for previous plumbing services, which they performed professionally and well. This project initially was to replace a toilet that liked to clog regularly, but evolved to include replacing a cracked cast iron stack pipe. The team came on time, worked efficiently, and neatly. They kept us informed of what they were doing, and had the pipe replaced and the toilet installed in about 5 hours. Both jobs done cleanly and neatly.

Once again a well done and very satisfactory project completed by Meticulous.

Highly recommend the folks at Meticulous Plumbing. We were having ongoing issues with water pressure and other plumbers were recommending/pushing a whole house re-plumb ($$$$) even though some of the plumbing was recently upgraded. Reached out to Meticulous and Leo came out and was able to pin point the issue. A week later, Joe came out and fixed the issue. Problem solved. If you're looking for honest and professional plumbers - these are your folks.

A fair price for good work from nice guys. Terry Taylor and his apprentice came to take a look at a problem with my dishwasher. They diagnosed a simple but serious error elsewhere in the kitchen plumbing system and presented me with two options for repair. They had the parts on hand to do the job right away. The bill came out to about $320, which to me sounded fair for a home visit, diagnosis, labor hours, parts, and the knowledge/experience to know how to take care of it. I appreciated that they were considerate of my home - they donned shoe covers before entering, cleaned up their work area, and practiced COVID-19 safety precautions. Plus, Terry was super friendly and brough a good sense of humor to his work. Would hire again.

Our tenant called us because there was water dripping into the kitchen from the upstairs tub and we needed to get someone out there quickly to fix it. We called Meticulous Plumbing and they were able to get out there fast to take care of the problem. The plumber called our tenant and scheduled everything with him and then called us to let us know what the problem was and give us an estimate to fix it. They completed the work quickly and the price was fair. I would highly recommend them if you're ever in need of a plumber.

I called Meticulous Plumbing to fix a clogged claw foot shower/tub faucet after the city had done some water work in the neighborhood which caused problems for several fixtures in my home. The receptionist was very helpful and professional. The plumber arrived early and was friendly. He spent about 10 minutes taking the faucet apart to determine it was clogged internally (which I has told him before hand, but I understand his need to verify) and spent about 10 minutes trying to run wire through the fixture at which point he told me that a new faucet will be needed. He made a call and informed me it would be $550 dollars to replace. He said this price was so hefty because it was a custom fixture and would be hard to find. This seemed exceedingly expensive to me and I wanted to research other options so we went separate ways, but not before I was charged a $70 dispatch fee. I contacted a neighborhood handyman later that day who managed to completely unclog the fixture in only 15 minutes, his charge was $30. When I contacted Meticulous Plumbing I expected thoroughness and experience, but what I got was something else entirely. Out of curiosity I later visited local hardware stores and searched online retailers for an appropriate faucet replacement and found them easily available locally for $75 - $150 dollars, and even cheaper through major online retailers, If I could find such retail pricing so effortlessly why couldn't they have access to something similar or cheaper through a wholesaler? I am stunned regarding their pricing, which would have been over $600 dollars (including dispatch fee) when an amateur solved the problem in 15 minutes without any parts or special tools. I feel badly incriminating the plumber who was dispatched because he was friendly and courteous, but I strongly feel this job should have easily fallen within the expertise and experience of any professional plumber.

So incredibly thankful for Meticulous Plumbing. Whenever you have a main water line breech between the meter and your house, its never good. Seth and Alan showed up precisely on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, were amazingly professional and even repaired the problem the same day. I was stunned at the exceptional level of customer service. I don't like to have to call a plumber because it means there is something wrong....but when I do...the first call will definitely be to Meticulous. Thank you!

After calling several companies, Meticulous was able to schedule us about two weeks out, and we were very appreciative that they called twice to bump up our appointment when they received cancelations or had more availability. Josh showed up on time, was very professional performed great work on our kitchen sink leak repair and it was completed quickly. We called Meticulous Plumbing because of a small leak in the supply line to the toilet. The supply line was many years old and lacked flexibility. We did not want future problems, so in addition to fixing the leak we wanted the supply line replaced. Josh Bennick was our plumber for this visit. He was friendly and helpful. He practiced safe Covid-19 practices. Explained what needed to be done, gave a quote for the work, and then quickly resolved the problem. We should have no problems with this in the future.

I have nothing but the best things to say about Meticulous. I had called 6 different plumbers to get estimates and only half returned my call, the other half came out to give me an estimate but only Meticulous did the full follow up. They have been professional and courteous from start to finish and they did an excellent job with replumbing our 100+ year old duplex. We had a really good experience. They were booked a few weeks out, but they put us on their call if someone else cancels list and were able to come that same week. Josh did a great job, was able to answer all our questions and explain what the problem (and solution) was, and finished up the work really quickly.

My guy Seth was a pro, he figured out what was going on, put in a fix, and helped me figure out next steps.

He even had to deliver bad news about one of the parts in our shower. He was professional and offered suggestions on how to proceed. He also hung out for 10 minutes after my phone silenced our doorbell and I missed him showing up, but was super nice about it and we got it done.

One thing that I don't personally mind but which is worth noting: they have insisted twice now that I order my own parts but that they'll happily install it for me. This may be standard, I don't know, and maybe if I pushed they would order parts for me, but that's something to be aware of.

Still, great service and I recommend them.

Outstanding would be another word! We chose them because their reviews were so good and now we know why. It was a relatively simple job with a very fair quote. The work date was very soon after their free home estimate. He was very thorough in his explanation, very skilled at fixing the problem and above all, METICULOUS! Absolutely we will use them next time we have a plumbing issue.

Meticulous has been my go-to plumber for years. I recently noticed a supply line starting to drip and called to get on the schedule before it would become a serious problem. Their dispatch service is wonderfully professional and efficient. They were able to send a plumber sooner than expected. When he arrived, the plumber was very efficient, informative, professional, and friendly. The job was completed quickly and neatly. I highly recommend Meticulous Plumbing.

Previously satisfied customer, now dissatisfied with professionalism. Previous job was not completed to inspection before the permit expired, but all plumbing was completely paid for. It was unavoidable, and no one’s fault. Now, after literally thousands of dollars of business , they will not provide service. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

I called several times early Saturday until Sunday afternoon leaving a messages that they need to respond by email. About 18 hours after the first call, they sent me an email saying they got my message. The message was a form message, we'll contact you soon. I then found them on FaceBook and summarized the services I needed from them. They responded with a friendly message that said they will schedule me Monday morning and contact me as soon as their office is open again. The advertisement says they are open 24/7. Then they sent a second email that says they do not service my area, but the map on the google advertisement says they do. I can't tell if they are being dishonest or not but the messages from this company (open 24/7, closed from Saturday 3 pm until Monday at ? time, they will schedule then they won't schedule...) are inconsistent at best.

They changed out our old galvanized pipes with new pex in less than day. They bored from the street under the house, so no trenches. Great work!

Meticulous Plumbing is so wonderful to do business with. Both times we've needed a plumber they've responded quickly and were able to send someone out early - everything was fixed and working like new within a few hours of my initial inquiry. Twice! The team that sets up the appointments communicates very well and Erin is an excellent plumber. Erin was so knowledgeable and helped us understand the plumbing in our house. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Josh replaced the water shut-off handles under my bathroom sink, and installed a new faucet. He said the handles were very tight, but he got them off without breaking anything. Yay! He was very courteous, and tidy. I will definitely use Meticulous again.

I hired Meticulous Plumbing to repipe my house and replace the water main in the fall of 2020. The entire process was as smooth as it could have been, and I was consistently impressed with the quality of work and the professionalism of the plumbers and apprentices. Meticulous Plumbing came out to look at a kitchen sink issue which they ended up not charging me for because it was just the removal of a loose metal piece that was gumming up the works. I asked them to take a look at a bathroom sink slow drain issue too that they identified what the issue was and repaired it on that visit (which they did charge me for). Ethical, competent, professional, efficient. Excellent service.

This company gets it. They understand that everything starts with good communication. They outlined the price, set a schedule, followed up with reminders, and then the plumber arrived right on time. My problem was a small one: a leaky valve for the line to the refrigerator. Fortunately, it was an easy fix for the price quoted. I liked their text updates. In fact, the morning of the repair they sent a bio and photo of the plumber coming. I appreciate that open, transparent way of doing business. I would use them again.

Mike, Colton, Tamara and Ann with Meticulous Plumbing all did a really great job. They answered our questions thoroughly, were flexible and accommodative to our schedule, and they were patient. We had new water service brought to our house which they coordinated and supervised and went very smoothly; they completely repiped our house using top quality materials including US made PEX pipe, and brass and stainless steel fittings and valves. They had attention to detail and were very thorough. They started the job on time and finished on time and cleaned up after themselves. We had no problem in passing the city inspection. We highly recommend Meticulous Plumbing.

This is the 2nd time I've hired Meticulous Plumbing and both times I was very happy with the result. I think these guys are terrific, and they do a great job for a reasonable amount of money.

Had a great experience with Meticulous Plumbing last week. My inline shower faucet broke and I could not get the water to turn up. I called and they came out within two hours (thank goodness someone had a cancellation) and my repair guy had it fixed within the hour. Super courteous, professional and he told me exactly what he was going to do and how much it was going to cost up front. Great dealing with a company that values integrity.

Seth came same day when they had an opening, did a great job and was
helpful to explain the plumbing issue. The woman who answers was really great-friendly, efficient, and great use of texting. Will use again as the old house demands.

We had an accumulation of relatively minor issues that needed addressing, so I wasn't sure if they could all be done in a single day. Seth managed to fix them all within a few hours. Meticulous Plumbing is indeed meticulous in their work as well as their customer service.

I scheduled the appointment over the phone and received communications via both text and e-mail. They texted me 20 minutes before Seth's arrival with a photo so there'd be no question the right person showed up. He arrived within the 1 hour window given and when he saw I was masked, he masked up before stepping inside. He explained all the work that needed to be done in a straightforward manner, gave me a comprehensive estimate, and then proceeded to do a fantastic job. When he was done working he cleaned everything up and gave me a walkthrough before I signed off on the work. I now have the paid invoice in my e-mail inbox, plus a detailed estimate on some non-urgent work I'm considering.

I'm very happy with the work done, and even happier with the excellent customer service at every stage of the process.

Erin was great - just got down to business and took care of the install, was detail oriented, left things tidy, communicated the process ahead of time, and was experienced and adept.

We absolutely love Meticulous, and scheduled the work ahead of time to install our new kitchen faucet ... which we realized we needed on an earlier service call from them. Much of the dispatch fee from the you need a new faucet, not a repair original visit got applied to the installation visit. We've enjoyed Dave and Leo in the past, and are thrilled with the work of Erin.

I reached out to Meticulous plumbing and initially received a availability date out several weeks. Because the work was minor (replace kitchen faucet), they advised there was a possibility of pulling that availability in. They were able to come out 2 days after initial contact! Joe arrived quickly with an apprentice. They were able to assess the job, provide an price, and complete the work in an hour. They were both professional, pleasant, and they left the work area clean. Top notch! I highly recommend Meticulous Plumbing.

We, so far had Erin, the plumber, come to our house to evaluate the project at hand, which will primarily involve rough in plumbing for a shower. She was knowledgeable and answered every inquiry we had concisely. We didn't feel rushed as she took whatever time we needed to explain the project and provide options. We hired Meticulous Plumbing to run a water line to our fridge so we can use the ice maker (hello 21st century!). We were originally scheduled about three weeks after I first called, but we were pleasantly surprised to receive a call that they were able to send a plumber over two weeks early. The plumber who came out was Erin, and she was friendly, professional, and respectful of our home. Truly a pleasure to work with. She quickly assessed a couple different options to complete the job, presenting the pros and cons of each approach. Erin got the job done neatly and quickly, and everything worked out great.

A few other reviews have also mentioned this, but I really appreciated that the text notification that Erin was on her way included not just her name and a photo (to know who to look for), but also a short personal bio. I liked getting that introduction to our plumber.

Erin identified the source of a horrendous noise our pipes were making when the sprinklers came on. I've had 2 other plumbers look over our pipes and they could not figure out the cause or source. I am very pleased with Meticulous Plumbing.

Bought a house about a year ago and there was a hole in the top of a closet that had been cut and a slow leak developed over a couple months. I called to have this looked at, Seth came by, quickly identified it as a leak in the hot water pipe connecting to the guest shower, then came back a couple weeks later and fixed it. He was very professional and polite, I will definitely be using Meticulous in the future.

We were having trouble with our shower valve and Seth gave us two options to fix it. He worked efficiently to replace the valve cartridge and gave us a clear explanation of what he was doing.
We will definitely call Meticulous Plumbing the next time we have a plumbing problem.

Their prices were astronomical. Charged over $300 to replace a simple shut-off valve that took 15 minutes. They wanted over $600 to replace the workings of a toilet. I purchased a kit for $25 and fixed the toilet in 30 minutes. I would never call them again.

Okay, I have to say - Meticulous Plumbing is HORRIBLE. They sent out a plumber to assess the minor issues we were having. He could not fix anything (even just replacing a gasket or anything minor), quoted us several hundreds of dollars for super invasive work for fix a bathtub drain that was not holding water and a pop-up sink plug that was broken). We got someone else to come out, fix all in an afternoon with simply replacing some worn out parts. Then the owner of Meticulous (Leo) was very rude and argumentative with me when I call to complain. The plumber that came out was either incompetent or outright lying to us and the owner was rude and defensive. I would NEVER recommend them. If we had just taken them at their word we might had paid thousands of dollars and have walls and ceiling cut into simply because they were unwilling to tell us that these were simple fixes that a handyman could do. When I asked Leo why we were not told that at the dispatch (which we paid for - I assume part of what we were paying for was to get the assessment!) he said that no plumber would ever tell someone to get a handyman. On the other hand, he also told me that plumbers would not do simple fixes like replacing seals etc! I hope their dishonesty is NOT a quality shared by other plumbers. Completely unprofessional.

Our old shower valves started leaking and we needed to replace the two handle shower faucet with a new Delta valve/faucet system. The new items are smaller than the old, leaving a gap in the tile. Joey did an amazing job caulking the gaps. Looks great. All the work was done professionally and the area left clean. Very happy with the work and results.

I received a call today saying that a technician was in my neighborhood even though my appointment was scheduled out another 2 weeks. Josh, the tech, was great. He surveyed the problem and laid out the best options. He never made me feel like he was trying to upsell something or go a more expensive route. He laid out that he might not be able to successfully snake my drain, but then ultimately did. I couldn't be happier with the experience. I will be a repeat customer.

We recently called Meticulous Plumbing to schedule a plumbing estimate and repair. Meticulous responded immediately to the request for an estimate and they were able to schedule the repair within a week or two. they were able to get us in sooner and the repair was completed by Cody today. Cody was professional, efficient and informative. We hired Meticulous in the past for some gas plumbing work. We are happy with both jobs We definitely recommend Meticulous Plumbing and will use their services again if needed.

Meticulous Plumbing personnel were all courteous, professional, on time, and the highest quality work. The order was to replace the old backyard faucet. The technician added a mounting block, at my request, and installed the new faucet. The installation was superb. I will continue to use Meticulous Plumbing for all my plumbing needs.

I am so happy with Meticulous Plumbing. My family needed a new range, and we decided to make the jump from electric to gas/dual fuel. I received a recommendation from a friend who used Meticulous and I am so glad that I called them.

I worked with Mike, and he was absolutely amazing. He and the Meticulous team ran the gas line, arranged the inspection, let me know when the inspection was going to take place, followed up with me, checked in with me regularly while we waited for the range to arrive (thanks for the slow turnaround, Lowe's), then came back out and performed the install.

In short, Meticulous and Mike are amazing. Mike was so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and personable. His work has been top-notch and I am so very happy with the end result. Had a leak. Now I don't.

Called Meticulous on Tuesday, made appointment for Thursday. They called today (Wednesday) saying they could get out sooner, which was awesome considering the leak was still leaking... and within 20 minutes had found the problem and come up with a plan to fix it.

All said and done, 45 minutes later I was a happy homeowner once again.

We had a great experience with Meticulous and a full re-pipe job. Joey and Coleton did a great job with the onsite work keeping us informed and beating their expected schedule. Linda and Anne were very helpful from their main office answering questions and getting everything set up. Communication was great and the work was well planned and executed. There was an issue with a subcontractor but Meticulous stepped up and made it right. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend them.

On Time, GREAT communication and reasonably priced BUT.....

I had a waterline installed for a new refrigerator. Not overly crazy about the locations of where she drilled in for the lines but they are ok. My problem was what happened afterward. Came down after she left, turned on my dishwasher and faucet to do dishes and run garbage disposal. Water and food debris poured out from the cabinet. Everything underneath the sink soaked and dirty.

While putting the waterline, she must have bumped the drain from the sink/garbage disposal causing it to come apart. I realize that this was not intentional but shows a lack of detail. The installer should have taken a few moments to examine the pipes before completing the job. If she had, I would not be having to throw away over $100 in seal a meal bags, sponges, and other items.

Would I use them again, maybe but if hired again, I would be double checking their work

I called Meticulous Plumbing after another company (3 Mountains Plumbing) refused to provide services for our town-home. Meticulous got us scheduled about 3-4 weeks out as it wasn't urgent. We happened to get lucky and Ann called back a couple hours later with a cancellation - she was wonderful and friendly as well. Seth showed up a few minutes later. He addressed our original issue and we had him unclog a few drains as well. After finishing we found a massive clog in the kitchen drain which he spent about 45 minutes clearing. He was very friendly, professional, and efficient. Everything was left as clean or cleaner than when he arrived. I would highly recommend Meticulous Plumbing and will use them again in the future.

What started out as a simple kitchen faucet replacement got complicated with a mistake on the part of the manufacturer. But Erin and Tamara did what they could to make it right and get me back in service again. These folks care and I really recommend them.

Plumber Joe was fine but $423 for a 30 minute job snaking one line seems like a big ripoff. I won't use them again.

We had such a great experience with Meticulous Plumbing. They communicated very well, always texted and emailed not only to remind but when plumbers were on their way. Plumbers were VAXINATED, which is hard to find in this industry! The work was more expensive than we thought and booked a few weeks out, but that is the state of affairs right now. I would highly recommend them.

Josh from Meticulous Plumbing did an excellent job refitting our new countertops with a drain rebuild and faucet installation. Plumbing work is always sticker shock (figure what seems reasonable then multiply that number by 3) but I have no issues with the quality of the work. I do think their prices are competitive with other professional plumbing services, and the communication was awesome. Some ballpark figures so you won't be overly shocked. Installation of a customer provided faucet $450. Installation of a garbage disposal $450, rebuild the sink plumbing (pvc pipes, connections) $570. In retrospect I would could have installed the faucet, it consisted of screwing in a single retaining washer and nut, attaching the hoses to the outlet and counter weight. But the technician's skill of figuring out the angles and replumbing the drains was certainly out of my skill set. Hope this is helpful when it comes to estimating your costs for a similar project. I would recommend Meticulous Plumbing.

As with others, Meticulous is our permanent plumbing company. We've had positive experiences every time with two different plumbers over a 4 year period. Their staff are not simply focused on the job, they seem to have a real commitment to connecting to the client and communicating completely about what is needed and necessary. This is the second time I have contacted Meticulous Plumbing. The first was to repair a pipe that went from the garage to the outside faucet. Dave did a great job. He was timely and professional. The second time was for a backed up pipe by the washing machine. I made the appointment, but when Meticulous Plumbing had a cancellation they called and asked if I would like the earlier time. I was delighted, and agreed to the new appointment. Once again, Dave did an excellent job, fixing the problem in a short time, in a professional, courteous and yet personable manner. Meticulous Plumbing has my confidence and my repeat business. I have recommended them to family and friends and will continue to contact them for plumbing repairs.

Just like their name, they are indeed meticulous which is exactly what you want in a plumbing company. Communication with dispatch was great, they even pushed us up in the schedule when a spot opened up due to a cancellation. Our plumber was Erin who was very thorough in her observations and assessment of our immediate and potential future plumbing issues. We had a low water pressure issue and she was able to identify corrosion as the cause. For the immediate, she flushed out rust from some of the lines and replaced our kitchen faucet and got things running better than ever, all the while being super respectful of our space. It was very painless. I never expect tradespeople to be so friendly, but Erin was extremely personable, considerate, and tidy. I would 100% call Meticulous Plumbing again!

I can't say enough good things about the exceptional service Josh and his colleague provided on their visit to my home. There were two faucets in bathrooms to replace, a rocking toilet they steadied, and moved an outdoor faucet over a couple of feet from it's old location. A fixed price was quoted for these tasks that was fair and within the range I expected after they covered the options available. Josh and his colleague started their work promptly, worked steadily, explained what they were doing clearly and why, and cleaned work areas well after completing the work. I really appreciate the willingness of the two men to mask up while in the house, and their consideration for the one cat who eluded capture to put in a room away from the activity, taking care to close the door to the room she was in while working in the area. The work was easy to schedule and the office staff make sure I knew who was arriving and when. Josh and his colleague were friendly, willing to explain their work, showed up with the right equipment and tools to do the work, walked through all that had been done afterwards to make sure I was satisfied, and explained clearly what I needed to do afterwards. The entire process from beginning to end was great. I look for companies with Angi's List Super Service awards when deciding which companies to contact, and Meticulous Plumbing's service didn't disappoint. I will definitely use them again if I have any plumbing needs.

I like that everything was explained to me. I like to know where every little one of my pennies are going. I work in a service industry position as well and I know how important it is is a consumer as well as a professional to be able to tell someone what you're doing and why. We had a laundry list of plumbing issues: new kitchen faucet, toilet replacement, three other leaking toilets each with a different issue, bathroom sink pop-up drain stops that needed fixing, and then a broken connection under the kitchen sink. We called in the midst of an ice storm so Meticulous couldn't fit us in for several weeks due to the emergencies, but they communicated regularly, as they waited for a cancellation. Once we had an appointment, Joe arrived right on time. He looked at each task, drew up a bid (it was not cheap, but it was fair), and then set to work. He clearly knew his stuff, explained each problem, found a couple of complications, but worked through them. In addressing one of the unexpected problems (a broken valve preventing us from turning the water to the toilet off) he went under the garage and found a mysterious leak and he helped identify the source (no charge). I can't say enough about how pleased I am. It all looks and works great. From the the woman managing the schedule to Joe doing the work, they were first rate. I hadn't used them before, but would only use them in the future.

I've used these guys for a few projects - they installed a urinal, some extra spigots for hose bibs, and have repaired and replaced old piping that had froze. They are on time, have clear communication, and do excellent work. I would gladly recommend them.

We asked the general contractor who recently did some work for us to recommended a plumbing company to replace a toilet. This is a job I did not want to tackle myself, since the toilet to be replaced was on the second floor. The contractor recommended Meticulous Plumbing. We had already purchased a toilet and had it ready for them. Two guys came out this morning to do the work. They were both friendly and very efficient and did a great job, making sure everything was to our satisfaction and cleaning up thoroughly. I've know Leo and his crew for a very long time. Meticulous Plumbing is the only Plumbing company I would ever consider using. They indeed are Meticulous and so very knowledgeable in particular with the older homes. Honest as the day is long and a true good old fashioned family business. I'd be lost without them.

Seth and Cody did a great job on my home repipe. Each day, I got a text notification when they were on the way, and they wore shoe covers in my house. Since we are at home during the day, I was worried about water shut offs, but they kept all shut offs to less than 4 hours per day and gave us plenty of notice when they were planned. The work passed inspection the first time, and they had someone out to backfill at the street later the same day. I had a minor issue with the work I wanted to discuss, and Seth came out the next week and fixed it immediately. I will definitely be using Meticulous for my future plumbing needs!

We first contacted Meticulous Plumbing to install a new toilet, which they did a very good job doing. Following that, we had them install new pipes and outlet for our clothes washer and a water line for the fridge. They did such excellent and professional work and advised us every step of the way so we knew exactly what was happening. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing project!

The plumber (Erin) was very friendly and did a great job explaining my options and giving advice to avoid having the same issue again in the future. She was great to work with. I didn't get another quote so I can't really comment on the price but I feel like it was probably fair. I would use them again next time I need a plumber.

These folks were tops! We had Joe as our plumber! They were always so communicative, texted information on the person who was coming into our home. And as a woman who works from home alone, it was so nice to see a face and have a name of who was coming into my home. They put us on a cancelation schedule and the work was done a full 2 weeks earlier, always a lovely surprise! They spoke to me like a human, and explained things when I had questions. They were reasonable with the pricing, and didn't try to sell me on work I didn't need, in addition to allowing me to have the outdoor trench dug for them. Beginning with answering the phone - when we have a need, calling to let us know an earlier time than scheduled has opened up, no surprises - the openness and honesty with which we are of the cost before they proceed (yes - we would hope it would be less), and the professionalism of the plumber preforming the work. This is the second time I've worked with Meticulous Plumbing in 11 years. Years ago, Leo assessed an awkward plumbing issue for me and came up with the most reasonable option (both price and timing) that didn't include a jackhammer in 1/3 of my house. This month's inquiry was a more benign water spigot replacement/repair. They had all of my info in the system, which made scheduling very easy. Scheduling was just 2 weeks from my call, partly due to my own schedule, which given the current trades scheduling seemed like lightening speed! I also know that if a time opened up sooner, they would be in touch.

Today, appointment day, they called to confirm if arriving early would be okay. Their technology of sending a bio of the technician (so I know who I'm lettting in) and. the truck tracking helped me coordinate with work.

Josh arrived right on time and was super friendly and knowledgeable. He looked at all my plumbing questions and talked candidly about costs and expectations. Josh was UP FRONT about any possible issues or overages so I could make an informed decision. He was able to set my expectations for this project and entertained my other questions which, as an over-planner, I can now plan accordingly in the coming years for some of the major ticket items.

We stuck with the original project for today AND he was able to do the work all in the same day (PS, it was nearly 100 today and he willingly went into my crawlspace -- champ!). Josh didn't need much from me so I was able to continue my work. When the work was done, he gave me a general report of the status of my crawlspace (no concerns, yay!). When everything was said and done, I received a prompt email summary WITH photos and the invoice.

There are times you shop around, and there are times you rely on a trusted relationship. I've recommended Meticulous Plumbing several times over the years and will continue to do so.

I am compelled to leave a review - Meticulous Plumbing is the BEST. I called for a follow up and left a voicemail on a Sunday. Monday morning I got a call from Tamara (sorry if misspelled!). She immediately got me on the schedule and when she had a cancellation, called and bumped me up! Joe was fabulous and explained everything really well. He was polite, helpful, professional, and spent as much time as necessary with my husband. Also, since it’s mid-pandemic, I must shout out the protocols in place including: masks required; only one greeter/interactor, no kids or pets nearby. Thank you, Meticulous, for being such a great company. I feel well cared-for and am so grateful for the wonderful work your team does.

Met Plumbing serviceman came to fix a pin leakage in the copper line, connecting the water heater to the recirculating pump. The operator quoted ~900+ for replacing the 18 inch pipe and the total time it would require him to do the job. He mentioned it would take ~ 2-3 hours to drain the water heater and with all those hours added labor, would end up with the quote he put front. I found this unacceptable, since replacing the 18 inch copper pipe plus the drainage of water heater shouldn't cost close to a ~$1000 bill. I ended up paying him $90 for his visiting cost. I got another vendor, who drained the water heater in ~20-30 minutes, NOT 2-3 hours the Meticulous operator quoted me. The total cost was 1/3 of the quote Meticulous provided. I will certainly NOT recommend Meticulous for any plumbing work to anyone I know.

As an update to this review I purchased the cartridge from Amazon and had my 32 year old daughter, who is not really familiar with plumbing (but wants to learn) install the cartridge while I supervised over facetime. It took about 15 minutes. $24 bucks vs $1550, wow!

People hire a professional, whether a plumber or any other trade, thinking that they have the skill and training to do a proper diagnosis on an issue. What your plumber did was like an auto mechanic wanting to put a new engine in a car because of a minor oil leak. I sent a picture of the outside of the shower faucet, not disassembled, to Pfister's tech email. They came back and not only identified the faucet but sent the original installation guide and were able to tell me what cartridge to replace it with. $24 on Amazon plus installation vs the $1550 quote from you. In my opinion your actions were NOT professional. And by the way you advertise on your website as a woman owned company. This could be technically correct but the only reason to make this statement is to draw in customers who may not want to deal with a rude male. When I asked to speak with the owner I expected to receive a call from the woman who owned the company. Instead I received a rude email from a rude male.

Meticulous, I don't think so. This is just another company that thinks they can take advantage of people. I asked for a plumber who could change the valve cartridge on a shower. Instead he wrote an estimate to completely replace the valve and body to the tune of over $1500, because he could not see a brand name on the outside of the valve. When I asked if he had removed the valve cover to look at the cartridge he said no but he could write an estimate to do that. That was after the company charged $89 for a service fee to get the plumber there. It would have taken 5 minutes to take the cover off, instead they highball the estimate and it did not even include patching the plaster that they cut to access the valve, which would have been another $500. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

I have used Meticulous Plumbing for many years, and have always been happy with their friendly and professional service. Regarding this last job, Erin came to our house for what we and she thought was a simple repair. It turned out to be much more complicated, but she handled it with knowledge and skill. And Meticulous lives up to its name. Besides being extremely careful during COVID, they are always respectful of your home, and leave the job site as clean as (or cleaner than) when they arrived. I also want to compliment Tamara in the office at Meticulous. She is very friendly and efficient, and called me back when an earlier appointment became available.

We found Meticulous several years ago when we had a major plumbing issue. We had several plumbers take a look at it. A couple gave us quotes for very intrusive work well into five digits. Meticulous came out, did a thorough inspection, and determined that most of the intrusive work was unnecessary. They fixed our problem for $1400. They've been our plumber ever since. They're trustworthy, dependable, and very skilled at their work. Love 'em!
