We are not on city sewer and have a septic tank with a warning alarm where we live. The alarm was tripped on a Sunday afternoon and we knew we either needed the tank pumped or maybe our pump failed. We experienced this before and knew we needed to get service ASAP. Monday morning I called PDX Sewer Solutions to help us out. Rob took my call and discuss options with me. He came over quickly (within 1-2 hours) to take a look and assess our situation. He was able to what we needed and he helped us right away. Rob was so kind and easy to work with. He explained everything in detail and the price was lower than other companies we have used in the past. I am an extremely happy customer and they will be my first call the next time we need service. We had an issue with our gutter drain field. Even though gutters had been cleaned, they were not draining. Smitty's workers came over and dug up the area. Found the pipe connected, a new drain pipe and a pop-up. This looks like it will take care of the problem. They did good work and were reasonably priced. They put things back as they found them. Update - After numerous calls to Mr. Rooter requesting for the work to be completed and approved by the city, the approval was gained on March 22nd, 2019. Almost 4 months since the work began.We purchased a new home that needed sewer work back on February 15th 2019. Mr. Rooter came in and did the work prior to our move, completed the sidewalk restoration, but never followed up with the city to get the final approval. After following up multiple times over the course of two months, they finally scheduled for the inspector to come in. The city stated that the sidewalk was not meeting their standard and they had to redo it to get their approval. Fast forward 2.5 months, on May 3rd, they came to take out the sidewalk. We've followed up multiple times, have not heard back, and still don't have a timeline of when the work will be fully completed and approved by the city. It's been 3 months - this is unacceptable!

Having used Clark County Plumbing a couple times now, both with good results, I would gladly recommend them. They are very easy to communicate with and stand behind their work. No one is thrilled about having to call a plumber, but when you need to, it's nice to have a resource like Mike and his team that is trustworthy and knowledgeable.

We had a leak in our main water line. It turned into a massive job because the leak detection company had difficulty locating the leak. Sarkinen plumbing had to do a great deal of work for me over a number of weeks. Derek and Daniel were both co-leading the job. Both are extremely professional, genuine and responsive. I was in a pretty desperate situation, and was afraid that they would try to take advantage of me. They didn't at all. They were honest, direct, and clear with their communication, and very reasonable and fair with their charges. I HIGHLY recommend Sarkinen. I feel strongly you can trust them to be reasonable, and deliver responsive, high quality work that they'll stand behind.
