Best Cooling Unit in Nashville TN

I have to concur with a lot of folks here...C&S installed a new heating/air unit in my home in February and everything ran great. When the AC kicked on in June and ran for prolonged times, water back-up in the unit and flooded the return trunk line. C&S came out, indicted the drain was installed backward and tried to charge me $120 service call and quoted $700 to replace the trunk line. I noted they installed everything and that the problem occurred when the AC finally had to run for prolonged periods. They still wouldn't budge despite admitting they installed the drain wrong. I got the BBB involved but all they said was they'd like to mediate the disagreement...ultimately, after 3 months, they said they would comp the service call and install the trunk line, but i had it fixed by then...no one should have to go through that...it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know you created this problem when you installed the unit...i see they are still accredited by BBB despite my complaint...

Great experience! They were able to come to my rental house quickly and repair a leak in the kitchen sink faucet. Very responsive. Would use again!

My water heater finally died after 17 years of use. I was able to schedule a free estimate through Home Depot just before midnight for the following morning. Jason with ARS came the day after and did an excellent job taking out my old unit and putting the new one in. He was very thorough with the work and explained all the features on the new unit. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with! Everyone I spoke to with ARS had great customer service! I hope not to call them in the near future, but will definitely be using ARS from now on.

Great work

This was my first time using Frog Heating, Air and Electrical, but I was really impressed by their responsiveness. When my AC went out on a Saturday, they offered me the option of a same day visit or Monday morning explaining the pricing difference. I selected Monday and they were prompt, called in advance of the technician's arrival. Upon arriving, the technician wore protective gear to keep our house clean. Luke (our technician) worked quickly, diagnosed the issue and was able to address the issue (more of a thermostat issue than our HVAC). He went above and beyond with his level of service. Frog will definitely be our go to should we have issues in the future.

They need to learn the rules of the road like not driving in the left lane and not passing anyone for miles and not texting and driving.

I just had a wonderful experience. We had a power surge that fried out newer tankless water heater. I called after hours and was dispatched to a tech. The person who called me back helped me troubleshoot and was super honest with the assessment that it would either be a board-level repair or replacement. Because of this helpful honesty and it not being just an after-hours receptionist like the other places I called, I followed up and got an appointment for the next day. The person I spoke with in the office was also super friendly and helpful and I was scheduled right away.

Next, Russel came to my house. And was super friendly and helpful. He spoke with the manufacturer of the water heater and helped get the boards replaced. It's only a year old and it made sense to repair it if that was possible. I know that if I had service from other plumbing companies that they wouldn't have gone through the trouble and would have recommended a full water heater replacement. I'm a long-game person, and being honest like that is what compelled me to write this review, and also I'll be using Jewell again for myself, and clients. They weren't my regular plumber or HVAC company going into this, but the fact that they were there after hours to speak to, and have provided stellar honest service, I will be back.

Bob C. was my Tech and he was friendly, professional and was able to pinpoint the trouble within 5 minutes of arriving at the house. Very happy with the service and pricing was competitive.

We decided to move back to our rental house in Nashville to find the HVAC not working and the water heater leaking.I spoke to multiple companies and received multiple quotes.Although Hoffman Bros weren’t the least expensive, the service was a cut above. I rarely write reviews, positive or negative, but these guys are really buttoned up.Each person I interacted with was extremely professional, well spoken and straight forward.Above all other feelings throughout the process, I’d say a level of comfort about the quality of work was the most significant.Thomas initially came out to look at the water heater, and actually found the leak where other companies hadn’t. They had just told me it needed to be replaced. Thomas said it could be fixed if I chose to.Then Billy came out to look at the HVAC. Billy is a vet in the industry and a wealth of knowledge. This is a guy who could go to any company in the industry. I asked him why he stayed at Hoffman and he spoke about professionalism and culture. Billy made me feel like I was in the best hands and stayed engaged in the process the whole time. Even stopped by during the install to make sure it was going well.Then there was Trent who ran the install, with Matthew who cranked out a lot of the work as well.These guys were extremely professional, efficient, respectful, and just overall good guys.The job went extremely smooth and I have every certainty that this was top notch work. I will use them again without question.In closing, I’ve worked a lot in the staffing industry. The quality of the people a company retains is a direct reflection of the folks at the top. And if I’m basing an opinion on the gentleman I’ve interacted with, these Hoffman brothers are great people who have a great culture, largely based on educating the customer and making them feel comfortable.If they didn’t, all these top notch guys would be working for another company.
