Jake and his team were extremely courteous, professional, and efficient. They wore booties inside the house, laid floor covering in the space where they worked, and cleaned up after delivering on their service promises to fix my leak. What’s more, Jake is a very effective, patient communicator who carefully walked us through each step of what he intended to do. In the midst of an extremely stressful upstairs leak, he made us feel calm and reassured. The best part is that he fixed the problem. We’ll definitely be using Jake/Hoffman again. 10/10 experience.

Mike cleaned out my sewer line CORRECTLY after two failed attempts by other plumber techs from other companies. Their equipment is top notch. He invited me to view the camera they ran into the sewer line so I better understood the issue. Resolved it in quick fashion.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Great experience!!!

Josh and his partner were great! They came in and gave me a run-down of the steps they were going to take, did their inspection, had options and quotes for me, and took care of my issue. I also got regular communication from Hoffmann Brothers leading up to when they were at my home. The whole process took maybe 30 minutes. Hire them!

Hoffman Brothers sent two drain technicians to repair a French drain in my driveway that was clogged and causing the garage to take on water. They cleared the entire drain and the attached piping to where it terminates. The drain is now working like it is supposed to work. I'm very pleased with their work, their reasonable pricing, and their professionalism.

Jake was personable and knowledgable. Gave me all the options available but I never felt pressured to do anything beyond what I needed. Definitely recommend!

I called Hoffman Bros towards the end of the day Saturday and they got me in on the very next business day. My sink was totally blocked and my dishwasher was flooded. Henry let me know the estimate upfront and prepared me for the cost if the problem turned out to be worse than we thought. Thankfully it wasn't so bad and he was able to fix it in about an hour. Henry was very respectful, wore a mask and shoe covers, and was very Covid-conscientious of our immunocompromised household. Def would call Hoffman Bros again, but hoping I don't have to for a while. ;)

This weekend our hot water went out. I made the service request on Sunday and they were at my door first-thing Monday morning. Their team (Rodney and Blake) were extremely professional and provided guidance on my current issue and options available to remedy it. They did not up-charge or push any one solution, instead they talked through the pros and cons to each option. By lunchtime, I had running hot water and assurance that I’ll have it for years to come. Highly recommend Hoffman Brothers for any plumbing or HVAC needs (they provide our house with any AC maintenance as well).

The professionalism and quality of work from Hoffmann was great. The plumber who inspected the issue did the work immediately and quickly despite being near the end of the day.The reason I removed stars is the lack of transparency about pricing and the overall high price. I was given an estimate and charged accordingly, so I knew what I would be paying which is fine. The job took just over 2 hours, and I estimate there were around $150 of parts used, but the bill was over $1000. On top of this there was no itemized parts, materials, and time on the estimate or final bill. They also charged both the inspection fee and the estimate, but I am used to the inspection fee being waived if you decide to do the repair.While the work was great, I wouldn't recommend Hoffmann because the price is higher that I think is reasonable for the amount of work done.

Serviced and cleaned my Tankless water heater.

I had a tankless water heater installed with hot water recirculation. Additionally, I had a hose bib repaired. Aaron and his helper were very professional and were very approachable. All in all, a good experience.

We made the appointment and we’re the thankful that someone was able to come the next day. Henry was very thorough and knowledgeable.

Miracle workers, they came to the rescue for a main sewer drain line clog for a Multifamily property and they did not stop until the property was up & running again. I was very pleased I had another company come and got no answers and then I wanted a second opinion and glad I did. They went through everything and found out I had a leak. I’m looking forward to getting it worked on and happy to finally get my issue resolved!

This was a frustrating experience. A huge waste of time and money. I already knew I needed a sewer pipe replaced. I called and talked to the scheduler and told her this. She put my on hold (clearly verifying something she didn't know) and returned to say they would do a complimentary sewer scope and diagnosis of the problem. Great. I don't need the sewer scope, I know what needs to happen, but if you have to do a sewer scope before you'll dig up my yard (understandable) and there's no charge, works for me.Scheduling: the woman I spoke to said the drain tech would come out tomorrow, but they didn't know what time, they would call 30-45 minutes before. Also fine. About two hours later I got another call saying that the 7:30 time slot had opened up, would that work for me. Great. So my husband drives out to the property early the next morning, and of course no one shows. UGH. So frustrating. I call the company and they say they had an internal miscommunication and the 7:30 time slot was already filled. Would have been great if you had let me know that.Charge: The person I talked to on the phone very explicitly told me that there was no charge for the sewer scope and diagnosis. If they had told me it was $225, I would not have agreed. When the tech arrived, they told my husband it would be a $225 charge. HUGE difference. So now our choices are to either pay the $225 to get a bid from Hoffman Brothers or be delayed further waiting for another company to come out and bid the job. So frustrating. Seems like a clear bait and switch to me, either that or horrendous disorganization (which fits with the scheduling experience). I'm surprised to see so many positive reviews, your time and money are better spent elsewhere.

Hoffmann has been great! We had them do some gas line work, and replace our HVAC units. Hoffman will charge a bit more than you expect, but we found it was well worth it. Exceptional customer service. Professional employees. Good communication. On time. Good follow through. Highly recommend!

I have used Hoffman Brothers for multiple repairs over the last several months - I am always pleased with their knowledge, professionalism, and quality work. I made an appointment on Monday for a bathtub drain issue and was able to get on the schedule for first thing Wednesday. The providers arrived at 7:15am and provided a quote for a series of repairs, providing me options based on price and priority. Highly recommend!

We found and called several companies through Google to help us repair what we thought was a leaking gas line in our kitchen. We ultimately went with Hoffman due to our great phone conversation and customer service experience when discussing the issue. We subsequently learned they'd also taken care of some sewer work for my sister (who said they did a great job), so we knew we made the right choice with booking them.As promised they called the morning of our appointment and let us know exactly what time to expect our technician, Cody. They followed up with an email and text message that included his picture (so we knew exactly who to expect) and estimated arrival time.Cody arrived exactly when expected and quickly got up to speed on the issue. He performed a thorough investigation and even identified some unrelated issues with our ductwork, which was something another company completely missed in our attempts to tune and improve the air flow of our HVAC system. We gave him the go ahead to fix everything and he knocked it all out in record time. There was a near immediate improvement in the feel of our air conditioning and of course. no more gas leak!Overall we're grateful to have had Hoffman Brothers come out and take care of our issues. The customer service, professionalism, and general experience they provided was second to none. They are now on our recommend list and will be our first call if we ever run into other issues.

Matt was super knowledgeable about everything I needed fixed! It started off by me just calling the Hoffman Brothers for toilet and water pressure issues. Within in 30 minutes it made sense to get two new toilets installed along with a new pressure valve. Matt came out and did all of this in less than 4 hours. Thanks to Matt and the Hoffman Brothers I now no longer have knocking pipes after every flush and piece of mind about any emergency shut off situations I may need to take care....oh yeah, he also fixed my gas fireplace on his initial visit in 10 minutes.... overall a great professional experience that was definitely worth the money. My tankless hot water stopped working so I called Hoffman Brothers because my usual plumber was out of town. Jason showed up promptly at the scheduled time. He was very clear as to the potential charges for the repair. After investigating, it appears that the previous owner of my home hadn’t serviced the unit since it was installed in 2008. It was filthy. Jason cleaned out the filth and got my hot water up and running. He was clear about the cost from the get-go and adjusted his estimate based on what he found. I never felt like I would be surprised by the bill. He also advised me of recommended service times going forward and that their work had a year warranty.I felt like I got a good value for my money with a respectful, professional and pleasant service person.I would definitely recommend Hoffman Brothers and Jason.

Had a concern regarding a high electric and water bill. Called on a Saturday evening and they came out Monday morning to inspect. Upon speaking with Jason, he was able to find a leak in our crawlspace as well as replace our water heater and toilet components. I feel so much better that the plumbing on the home is in good shape now. I only wish I had called sooner. All repairs were done same day and I am happy to leave a positive review!

Cody was great. He showed pictures of entire unit. He explained everything and gave multiple choices of fixing the unit or replacement. He called to set an appointment for me to talk to the replacement man so I could make and educated decision. He even helped get my cat in the house. My 20 year old unit looks almost new again. Color me impressed.

Hoffman brothers offers a free drain evaluation when arriving to do the work. Once the evaluation is done they present you with options to move forward with. The specialist I dealt with listened to my issues and tested a few things. During his evaluation he was able to clear the blockage without using tools thus keeping me in the free evaluation category. Saving me quite a bit of money while I'm hurting for cash. He did note that I still have a partial blockage and provided options on how to permanently fix the issue once I can get a few paychecks and comfortably afford to fix the problem. I don't know of any other company that does that. The final services were not cheap, but based on the services they provided me today I would gladly pay the extra cost because I can feel confident they can take care of the issue in ways only true experts can.

The scheduling was very easy and they text you the service person's name and photo before they come to your house so you know who to expect. They didn't try to upsell us or push services on us! Trent just left after taking care diagnosing what I thought might be a costly issue with my pressure switch. When my heat kicked off in January I got an error message on my thermostat indicating the pressure switch was open. I had originally called another company to come take a look, they said I needed a whole new switch that they had to special order and I was ready to pay $500+. I’m so glad I called Hoffman Brothers for a second opinion. Trent came out and after checking levels and putting the system through its paces, calling the manufacturer to double check that everything was in line with my system and the error message was no longer showing, he let me know I was good to go. He recommended at some point getting maintenance done because my unit was really dirty, which was true thanks to my huge dogs and the trees that hang over it. It felt like a genuine suggestion from someone looking out for my best interest, and I asked him to give the unit a deep clean before he left. He’s a super thorough guy and it looks and runs great. I feel much better informed about my system now and for way less $ I got much higher quality service. I’ll be calling Hoffman Bros for all my home repair and maintenance needs going forward. When we were not able to complete a plumbing repair that we started, Hoffman Brothers scheduled one of their technicians to come out within 48 hours. Mike was prompt and friendly, and diagnosed and fixed the problem in the same visit. Recommend 100%.

Billy was one of many people I spoke to about getting our upstairs attic converted space some proper heating/cooling. While most folks focused on selling me a new system, Billy took the time to study the system that was currently existing at my property. He then proposed the best approach for investing into my existing system in a way that would satisfy our current cooling needs and set us up well for future expansion when our current system hit its end of life. Cannot stress enough the patience and pure philosophy that the Hoffman Brothers encourages in their people. Great work & great experience overall !

Trent was amazing, we had an issue with our HVAC system and we couldn't figure out what it was. Trent really took the time and came several time to find the issue and he eventually did! He is committed for sure! Even with supply chain issues he found the replacement part in no time and instead of replacing the whole system like another company was proposing he found the problem and solved it. My 2nd floor AC unit (2020) wasn't holding temp, so called to schedule an service appointment. Ken Rettig showed up at my door with the best attitude and energy I've ever experienced from any service provider. He was meticulous about his evaluation and did a great job explaining the issues and solutions required to get the system back on track. I can't stress enough how professional and friendly Ken was during his visit. The original AC unit installer apparently cut a few corners that Ken was able to make right. He even figured out a way to fix a broken bracket on a part versus having me buy a replacement saving me money. I'm going to try out the maintenance plan - stay tuned.

I operate an Airbnb in my basement apartment and have had numerous guests all year. We deduced that it could have been a toddler that flushed the garment and it took months for it to cause this issue. He placed a camera down the drain and I watched as he performed this task. Great experience with Hoffman Brothers, they did some annual maintenance on our tankless water heater. David was timely and knowledgeable.

I had a crushed water line that became clogged. A local plumber could not fix the issue and made two trips to Lowe’s for consumer parts. Hoffmann came out and resolved the issue by using compressed air to blow out the line AND replace all the cheap consumer parts that were bought at Lowe’s and were not intended to be used underground. I’m in Hendersonville and wanted to keep it local, but I will not hesitate to call Hoffmann in Nashville as they have more training, experience and won’t waste your time and money.

I called for service around 8 o’clock in the morning and they had someone at my house within three hours! Josh was the technician that did the service work and he was excellent! He was careful to explain all of the charges prior to doing any work and he was quick getting the job done. He also explained that there is a one-year warranty on their service which gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend using them!

I called Hoffman Bros. To received plumbing services. I was told about their monthly program for HVAC and plumbing, so I enrolled. I had an immediate need of a leak, but I also needed just regular checks on things. I was told that the plumber would be out that Friday morning (keeping mind I have water streaming), then they call Thursday and tell me it won’t be until Monday. They said they would waive the $45 service fee. I had the HVAC person come out and do a check on Monday also. Both arrived on time. I don’t know a lot about plumbing, but although they came here for a leak, they made me think I needed to do a lot more immediately. Fortunately I did not do it all that day. Unfortunately for me, I did enough that I was overcharged what my plumber friend called “ highway robbery”. For example, I had them give me an estimate on replacing a toilet. There is nothing wrong with the plumbing- just replacing the toilet- they quoted me over $700. That is just for putting in a toilet. I guess after they got away with overcharging me with everything they had done that morning, why not? The horrible thing about it is that after paying such high costs for the repairs, when I turn on my tub faucet, the water still comes out dark. It has been over a week. I don’t want to call them out again because they will just charge more money for more ridiculous things that I don’t need. Even the HVAC got away with almost $500 in repairs, and he was just there to do checks. In my opinion, they work on commission.

So glad I went with Hoffman Brothers. Chris explained everything to me in terms I could understand. They were courteous, respectful, on time and helpful. I got 5 bids for my cast iron pipe replacement and while they weren't the cheapest, their bid was right in the middle and did not over recommend services I didn't need. I would use them again.

I had a gas water heater issue for about 2 or 3 years. The pilot light would go out periodically under certain windy conditions. I've had 3 or 4 other companies over during that time and all focused on the venting or some other aspect of the engineering of the appliance. All to no avail. Problem hadn't been solved. TRENT TUCKER from Hoffmann Brothers came, listened to me intently, and systematically diagnosed the issue. Turns out my gas pressure into the house is low. No one ever even considered that previously. It also turns out that the fix sits with the gas company, so TRENT TUCKER was honest and didn't play on my naivety and try to replace parts or find a way to justify a more intrusive fix. Josh came out to our office, Xtreme Exteriors LLC, and fixed our plumbing issue, which included pulling up the toilet and unclogging the drain for both the men's and ladies' room; he was professional, knowledgeable, polite, and friendly--he even pointed out that our back flow was leaking, something that we had just had inspected by the city (and passed the inspection on). Josh finished fixing everything quickly and even mopped up the restrooms when he was finished so there wasn't any nasty clean-up for me to deal with! One of their truck drivers was on the interstate with an uncovered bed of gravel that was overflowing. They were in a lane adjacent to me and as gravel was flying everywhere, my windshield was cracked. Was not even driving directly behind the vehicle. Called to see if they could help, and they said there was nothing they could do and took no responsibility.

David with Hoffman Brothers was Prompt, Professional and very Knowledgeable. We felt comfortable with the work he proposed and provided to take care of our kitchen faucet pipe leak. He found the issue and let us know what it would take to fix the problem. We feel we were quoted a fair and reasonable price for the work and experience he provided. We would definitely consider using Hoffmann Brothers again and we would refer them to friends and family. David was great! he made sure to clean the work area just as he found it before leaving.

My experience with Hoffman Brothers was absolutely great. They communicate at a high level and I never had to wonder what was happening or when they would arrive. Once my technician arrived, he was incredibly professional and explained everything. Once we agreed on a plan of action he got to work and finished in the time he said it would take even though he had to work the entire time in a huge downpour. Thomas and the crew did an excellent job removing and replacing my HVAC system. He was very happy to answer any questions I had and showed me all of the parts and pieces that I should be aware of. I chose Hoffmann Brothers to buy and install my new heat/AC HVAC system. Kris came out to talk about my needs, and helped me find the system for my house. He was polite, and professional. He was very well informed which helped me choose my new system. The installers were Brandon and Matthew mostly. They were super nice, cleaned everything up after themselves, and wore shoe covers inside. They didn't stop until the job was done. It was about an 11 hour day for them. (Shout out to the electrical guy, cant recall your name, he had a whole machine shop in his box truck, and custom fitted the duct work) I have no complaints, the system runs great so far, and they did a great job relocating my unit outside. They do the concrete pad and everything. I didnt have to do any of it. Everything is new, right down to the thermostat. Love it. I will call Hoffmann Brothers for my future HVAC and plumbing needs. They have high values and run their business as though they care about customers. Something that is rare these days.

The two guys that came out were friendly enough; however, it wasn't until I told them that I already had someone from Hicks come out and quote me the service I had mentioned before they would provide me with the same option. Turns out, Hoffman was going to charge me $250 more than Hicks to perform the same service-refrigerant fill. They didn't seem too happy about me telling them, I'll think about it and get back to you.... Alas, I'm happy I DID think about it.... I don't THINK I'll be calling Hoffman again.

We called Hoffmann when our heating unit died on an icy day in Nashville. Within minutes, Hoffman sent Trent and Thomas to our house and fixed the unit the same day. At first they didn't have the blower on their truck to replace our broken one, but Trent went out of the way to locate a part in their warehouse and brought it back across icy roads.Throughout the entire visit the Hoffman team was professional, courteous, and open about what they were doing. Wonderful service and very well-trained, friendly workers who are pleasant to have in my home. I’ve had them out to do HVAC maintenance, install a dishwasher and garbage disposal, and install a claw foot bathtub. Each time the technician took time to talk to me and explain exactly what the problem was, how it got that way, and how much it would cost to replace or repair it.

David was wonderful. Very trustworthy!

Hoffman Brothers took a look at my unit and told me I needed to replace the whole unit due to a leak and quoted me 9k. I had two other HVAC companies come out to take a look at my unit and both of them said that there was no need to make repairs or even change out the unit. Hoffman Brothers used a scare tactic to make me spend way more than I needed to. The other companies quotes were half as much as Hoffman Brothers for a full AC unit swap.I will never use Hoffman Brothers again and I urge people to please get different quotes if they’ve dealt with Hoffman Brothers.

I'm sure their work is good, but check on others pricing. Paid $95 to get a bid to replace a reducing valve, expected their price to be comparable to other bids I recieved. Even after paying the $95, I saved close to another $100, by going with another compny. No reason to doubt their work, pricing I'm not as sure about.

Shower drain was slow and now it doesn’t drain at all. That cost me $250. In order to repair the next thing it might be is an $833 estimate. I can not stress enough how nice & professional the tech was but I’m going to bed with my shower filled with black water and I guess I’m glad I showered before he got here. Job # 210479EDIT :2/19: I sucked out the gross water & poured some liquid lightning in there and let it sit for 15 hours instead of the recommended 15 minutes. Now it works like a charm. Best 10 bucks I ever spent

Previous plumber (Hiller)told me my grinder pump was shot and needed to be replaced and I needed hydro jetting and it was going to cost several thousands to fix. Henry from Hoffman brothers fixed it in five minutes. He said pump will eventually need to be replaced but not today. When it does finally die, my business will go to Hoffman brothers. Hoffman is my new plumber.

Disappointed in my service with Hofmann Bros. I was a member of their monthly plan when my air conditioner stopped blowing cold air last year. A tech came out and I was told it needed a new TXV. $2700 later and the air was cool. A month later the same part broke and they fixed it because it was under warranty. I continued to have issues of the house maintaining a temp, it could never get below 75-76 in the hot months, humidity levels in the 80s. After multiple times of a tech coming out I just kept being told my 5 year old unit was “working to the best of its ability.” Fast forward to this year, the same thing happens, AC not blowing cold air. This time Hoffman Bros says it needs a compressor) I decide to get a second opinion and I’m told the unit was filthy (which is included in my HB membership and was not recommended or done by the tech) and the TXV (that HB installed now twice) isn’t metering Freon correctly and it needs a new one. I decide to let this company fix it because I no longer trust HB, at the same time he does say it needs a compressor so I also get that fixed. Now that it’s fixed CORRECTLY my air has never been colder, humidity levels in the house stay below 60%, and I can get the house cooled easily. The new company said a TXV has to be welded in correctly or the components can break and he said the previous TXV looked like it had been welded in by a 5 year old. I’m convinced HB sent out a tech who couldn’t correctly install the TXV the first time which is why it went out a month later and again a year later. I called to cancel my HB membership and talk to someone and was told someone would call back. Guess what, no one called and I got an email my membership was cancelled. Don’t waste your time. Find a local home-owned company who knows what they’re doing.

These guys were great! They were very responsive, everyone was super on time, and the total time from diagnosis of the issue to completed installation of a new unit and work on the ducts was less than 48 hours. They were definitely the fastest, most efficient, and most professional option. They took care of an issue that multiple other companies could not/would not with our duct work. They also clearly explained every option and every step along the way. If we ever encountered another issue, I would definitely choose to use them first.

It was initially installed using the existing plumbing for a hot water heater using a 1/2” gas line, but he evaluated the situation and informed me that my unit was starving for gas which is why it was huffing multiple times before unit fired up. He changed out the 1/2” with a 1” gas line, gas meter was changed out by gas company in a very timely manner to support the higher gas volume and now my tankless water heater is running smooth and quiet!! I also had him check the water pressure and he said it was too low so he bumped it up for me and now the water flow is much stronger for showers and all the sinks!! What a nice improvement that was as well!! If there are any other future plumbing issues that I can’t fix myself, then I’ll definitely be calling Matt to help me out!!

Ken was on time, respectful of me and my property, and let me know I wasn’t the only heat pump call.Although we figured my cold house was because of heat pump limitations, he did a thorough inspection from top to bottom to ensure my HVAC system was ok. He found there was nothing wrong with the overall system but a missing condensation valve that should be installed to prevent future problems. He presented several options to install the valve.He made several recommendations to ensure my house stays warm next time we get such a strong cold front.But I have peace of mind my system is working efficiently and properly.Thanks Ken.

Henry did a great job. I know plumbers are busy this time of year but they updated me the whole time. Henry came out and made the repair, checked my upstairs bathroom and under the house for any additional leaks. He made easy replacement recommendations, was quick and communicated the issue. Time will tell if the repair holds but I’m confident it will.

I was so impressed by the quality, value and education I received with Hoffmann Bros. I had three different companies out before them, none of whom I felt comfortable with, nor did they spend the time explaining with the core issue was and give me multiple options for the repairs.I felt very comfortable with them in my home and I’m now going to look into their home protection plan as a result.

I called to have someone come out to repair a bathroom faucet for me. I essentially paid $95 for a sales pitch on the many services Hoffmann Bros provides. My sink was not fixed and I was left with an estimate for a couple thousand dollars.So I called a competitor who came out and fixed my sink at a fraction of the estimate. Because they actually fixed my problem and didn't try to sell me on services I didn't need I will call them next time I need help.

I first thought the price was too steep for the services provided, but I realized the technician did several tests to try to find the problem. I apologize for my initial dissatisfaction.

Our A/C went out on the second floor. The problem was located quickly and repaired quickly. You can count on this company to be honest and straight forward with no nonsense.

Chris was great! We noticed our floors starting to buckle this weekend in our laundry room and did some investigating. After opening a wall between our laundry room and garage, we found a leak that was coming from somewhere in the space between the 1st and 2nd floor. I have used Hoffmann Brothers on multiple occasions, and they are great each time. This time Ken came out for my package unit maintenance and was very thorough and always leaves me with great notes so I know where I stand with my equipment. No one has ever been pushy and they’re always honest and forward with the issue or if there is no issue like in my case. Wont go anywhere else for plumbing or hvac!

I have an electric tankless water heater and was surprised to find most plumbers in Nashville don’t service these. After lots of searching and failed efforts, I finally found Hoffman Bros and they diagnosed my water heater in record time (mind you I’d been trying to fix my water heater for monthssssss). They were super professional, honest, and gave me some options to work with. I will definitely use them again in the future

Their technician (Brian Heiser) came to look at my AC unit but due to an issue with my HVAC system he was unable to do any diagnostics, he charged me for doing literally nothing ($100) but at the time he was super kind and said he would come back and wave any additional diagnostics fee the next day (since I just paid for it), he literally said it to my face. After he left the company called to confirm the appointment for the next day and when I told them what the technician said about waving the fee they contacted the technician and said he denied ever it. They literally could care less about the client, I was even planning on signing up for their yearly maintenance service, they would’ve made so much more money on me. Honestly I highly recommend going with Hiller, I found them to be far more professional and trustworthy, they also seemed to actually care.

Called them for an issue with the AC and they came out within an hour and everything was running smoothly before the end of the day. Highly recommend!

Don't write many reviews. The lever of a 3 piece faucet came loose. A 15 minute job and I have the Moen parts. Quotes $250 which is excessive but I said ok. Find out that doesn't include the $75 trip fee which most places don't charge if you use them for the service. I got gouged. Stay clear of this place unless you enjoy being screwed.

Jake was very helpful in helping us diagnose a leak in our kitchen as well as giving us an overview of options for increasing the water pressure in our house. It was a good experience and we'd happily do work with Jake again.

We recently built a new home and unfortunately are now having to sue our builder - Alan Looney and Castle Homes. As with many things that are horrible wrong with our house I was very concerned about our indoor air quality and overall HVAC system that had been installed. Thus, I called Hoffman Brothers to come to my house and do a complete evaluation. Trent, the technician that they sent was incredible. Based on what we have recently experienced with our builder it was refreshing to meet someone who was actually HONEST, competent, and knowledgeable. Trent went above and beyond. Because of the multitude of problems discovered with our indoor air quality and HVAC system, Trent had to spend over twice as much time than what was scheduled. Yet, Hoffman Brothers did not charge us more. FYI, Trent is one of the smartest and most impressive individuals that I have met in any walk of life. He confirmed things that we had already suspected, he discovered things that we did not know, and he educated us on things that must be done in order to eliminate the personal health (respiratory) related issues that we have been experiencing. Needless to say, we will be partnering with Trent and Hoffman Brothers. Their knowledge and expertise is both refreshing and greatly appreciated. We could not more strongly recommend!

Hoffmann Brother's were great! Same day service estimate for our water heater repair. From the phone call to request services to the repair person coming to the house, everyone was professional and very friendly! When you're in a stressful situation, it helps to have someone be straight forward with you on repairs and costs. They gave us multiple quotes based on our requests, answered all of our questions and showed up the next day to install. We will be using them for any future repairs needed!

Awful company to work with. They’ll tell you one price on the phone, flat rate labor costs plus materials. Then arrive and provide a 10x higher labor costs. Also they will schedule you over book themselves and then push you back for days and for compensation knock $40 off a quote given. They pull up to my house, and then look at this 45 min job tops, and they’re like yeah this is $1000 job, when on the phone they told me it would be $95 to install a garbage disposal plus whatever pipe they used. Such BS.

I'm torn because I would give Thomas 5 stars. He was amazing and went above and beyond. However, I chose this company based on the reviews and I cannot in good conscience leave a good rating. Had it not been an emergency right before a holiday (when no one else was free), I never would have gone with this company because they charge $95 to even come out. Based off of that alone, I expected the price to be high. But what they charged was ridiculous. It should not have cost more than $200 to replace my outdoor faucet ($100 for parts and $100 for a hour of labor). They charged $342 PLUS the $95 service call fee. Will not be using this company again. Giving two stars because Thomas was great and they were available next day 3 days before Christmas.

Called AM on Friday to schedule for some kitchen sink issues. Scheduled us for the following Tuesday and then, when they had a cancellation, they called us and got us in the same day. I called to have my exterior underground drain lines from my gutters inspected for blockages. It was a great experience, someone picked up on the second ring and I had my appointment scheduled within 10 minutes. The appointment was scheduled for the next morning, so great turnaround time!Our inspector, Henry, showed up on time, gave me the full rundown of what he was going to do, and did it all in a professional manner.When he was done, he gave me the full rundown of my options, priced it out and provided documentation on the spot. All in all this took about 2 hours, with me popping out from time to time when he wanted to update me.Great experience overall, would definitely recommend them!Henry was great and did his work in an efficient and professional manner.The only negative is- The service callout fee does not include any diagnostics, that is in addition to the service fee. I was under the impression small diagnostics were included in the call-out/service fee.

Chris was Prompt, Professional and Thorough in his explanations of needed services, Spoke Very Highly of his Business and Employer (More important than most employees realize) and he went beyond my original issue with a value added service on my second bathroom's plumbing. I can't possibly speak more highly about this young man's work in repairing the primary plumbing problem along with replacing new cut off valves which were stripped in both bathrooms. Working with the HIGHEST RATED Home Warranty Plan under which these repairs fell, on 1/13/21, I first advised that warranty service that I needed someone quickly as we were having to cut off our water all day and on only briefly for showers and baths. I could not wash cloths or clean the house appropriately. After 3 visits...it has been over TWO MONTHS THEY LEFT US IN THIS MESS! I HAVE PAID A MINT IN MONTHLY FEES to them FOR YEARS...far more than today's bill! Chris took care of the problems in such a short time! There was another Hoffman Brothers employee with Chris who went to pick up parts so that I wouldn't have to wait on Chris completing these repairs. He too, was very personable and quite willing to go above and beyond. I am ashamed to say I didn't catch his name. What I learned today is that Hoffman Brothers Clearly Hires ONLY THE BEST and I am very grateful today that they do.

Highly recommend Kris, Seth, and the Hoffman team to anyone in the area. Due to insurance issues we have been with out AC since the floods on 3/28. Last Friday (5/14) afternoon our insurance requested more quotes to be returned by Monday. We called Hoffman and they were able to get someone out same day to provide a quote. By the time Kris had arrived we had worked with at least six other AC repair companies with varying degrees of success and were honestly tired of salesmanship. Kris listened to our needs and made it painless to get a quote. This also turned out to be the best quote we had received for the work! After approvals from insurance on Monday we called Hoffman brothers to let them know we would like to use their services and they got someone out the next day. Seth and his counterpart were equally exceptional and replace our full AC and heat in just one day. They were courteous of our home when they needed to check things inside and always respectful of our timid dog.Again, would highly recommend Hoffman Brothers for any service.

We called the Hoffman Brothers to come and inspect our sewer line. They were prompt and very professional. The two gentlemen that came out were courteous, wore their masks the entire time, and showed me what they found. Overall we had a great experience!

Brandon was a super star. He explained everything that was very understandable to someone that knows nothing about AC units. The reason and the only reason I did not use the service was because of funds. What I needed today was to find out what was wrong with my unit and how much it was going to cost to repair. Hoffman Brothers and their technician Brandon did exactly that. They did not try to force you to do the work today and I like that out of a company. When I save up the funds to do the repair Hoffman Brothers is exactly who I will be calling.

I called Hoffmann Brothers when my normal AC repairman was out of town when we had a motor go out on our condenser. Communication was great, scheduling was great, everything was great until they got to the price to replace a condenser motor. Luckily, I checked prices with another company and the part that Hoffmann Brothers quoted at over $900, was actually $120 OEM (but would take 3 days to arrive) or $205 for a universal motor. Install cost was only $95. So while they may be responsive, you may want to watch out for pricing. I wasted $95 on a service call from Hoffmann. My opinion is their pricing takes advantage of people who don't know what to ask.

Extraordinary communications, courtesy and professionalism.

I Needed two bathroom faucets leaks repaired. I was told the best solution was to replace the plastic faucet cartridges with metal ones as well as replace the seal and springs. The cost was $412.00 which was far greater then I expected and I declined the service. The representative was very professional and easy to deal with.

Lou came to inspect and give us an estimate. Very professional and friendly, helpful. Impressive.

Thomas arrived on time and efficiently located and fixed the burst pipe. He then noticed a broken toilet valve when he turned the water back on, provided a quote, and fixed the valve. So thankful for Thomas’ help!! Brandon then arrived to review the duct work in the crawl space. Due to water from the broken pipe flowing into the duct work, it will need to be replaced. Brandon explained the issue thoroughly and set up an appointment for a repair person to come for a quote. So happy Brandon could come and diagnose the issue!

We decided to move back to our rental house in Nashville to find the HVAC not working and the water heater leaking.I spoke to multiple companies and received multiple quotes.Although Hoffman Bros weren’t the least expensive, the service was a cut above. I rarely write reviews, positive or negative, but these guys are really buttoned up.Each person I interacted with was extremely professional, well spoken and straight forward.Above all other feelings throughout the process, I’d say a level of comfort about the quality of work was the most significant.Thomas initially came out to look at the water heater, and actually found the leak where other companies hadn’t. They had just told me it needed to be replaced. Thomas said it could be fixed if I chose to.Then Billy came out to look at the HVAC. Billy is a vet in the industry and a wealth of knowledge. This is a guy who could go to any company in the industry. I asked him why he stayed at Hoffman and he spoke about professionalism and culture. Billy made me feel like I was in the best hands and stayed engaged in the process the whole time. I called Hoffmann Brothers plumbing on a Friday when our Navien tankless hot water heater started leaking. We were going on vacation on Sunday so were anxious to have the repair done before we were leaving. Rodney Gardner was dispatched to our call for service. He was accompanied by another technician. They identified the problem immediately and called to see if a local business had the part we needed. They went and picked up the part at 4:30 on a Friday and repaired our hot water heater by 5:30. Rodney and the other gentleman were friendly, efficient, and professional and knew what they were doing. We will definitely call Hoffmann Brothers again for our plumbing needs. Very pleased with Hoffmann Brothers. Jake came out for a clogged sink and to check the hot water heater for possible problems. He unclogged the sink and made sure all other drains were clear as well. He also inspected our older hot water heater and gave an estimate on a new one whenever we were ready to replace it. He could have performed unnecessary repairs but was honest about those not being cost efficient. Pricing was definitely reasonable for the work he did. Extremely professional and respectful. Rodney was very punctual and professional. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and gave some helpful tips on preventative maintenance on extending the life of our water boiler and garbage disposal. When the new gasket for the toilet didn’t do the job quite right, he installed another new gasket to complete the fix. Hoffman brothers is exactly what we needed when I requested service for AC. Fortunately, we received a full service treatment. I will only use Hoffman brothers from here on out. They are exactly the group I trust to be in my house & delivery EXCEPTIONAL service. 10/10. VERY responsive & well priced.

Where to begin? Well to start, they failed to identify my inactive carbon monoxide detectors, deadly issue btw. However when they did (well done) after several months of poisoning they recommended a 20,000-23,000 solution, which I’m sure would have worked however, I fixed the issue for roughy $300 and have now replaced the entire system for $6000. They were so kind as to contact me with regards to “service” today which I feel is an opportunity to sell you on extremely overpriced packages. I took this time to remind the company that I terminated there services for above mentioned reasons. To be clear to this company, I am not interested in worked with you any longer (This has been an issue) and please stop compensating your employees and a manner I imagine is similar to that of a used cars salesman

I called Hoffman Bros and two other plumbers to look at my water lines because I had bad water pressure. Hoffman Bros were the only ones who called back. I had someone over within 48 hours (it was not an emergency) to diagnose the issue which matched exactly what I thought it was. They provided me a quote same day and I approved it because even though they aren't the cheapest, the numbers aligned for this kind of work. They came back within a week, dug up my backyard, replaced the water line from my meter to the house, and cleaned up the site. I have water pressure which is very very awesome and the guys were professional, did a great job and everything works. I am very happy with their work. It was throw of a dart hoping that I called the right guys since I just moved here, and I definitely did!!

I suspected I had roots in my line. Aaron was kind enough to include me in the camera inspection so I could see for myself what was going on. He kept me informed all along during the repair process. Would highly recommend.

Refusal to give a quote on a property during our due diligence period means they’re of no use to any investor.

Terrible customer service!!! My shower head was leaking pretty bad when the plumber arrived and leaked worse when the plumber left. He replaced a cartridge and when that didn't help, he told me I might need a new shower head and charged me almost $400. Upon calling a different company, a plumber was sent to my house and he replaced the same cartridge and told me the cartridge installed by Hoffman Bros was not installed properly (and only charged me $300). I called Hoffman Bros. customer service 3 TIMES asking to speak to the manager for a full or partial refund and have never been called back by the manager. They are supposed to have a guarantee on their work. I don't buy it. They care nothing about their customers!!

Meanwhile, we still had sewage flowing into our house and our plumber would not come back and the city would not come back. Hoffman Brothers promised they would come and give us some options. Jake showed up, investigated the situation, called the city, got them to return, traipsed through the woods with them, found out the city's plan of action and timeline, gave me his contact info in case the city action did not help, and gave me a couple options to make sure it never happens again. We were very happy with the outcome. Although the sewage experience was not pleasant, our interaction with Hoffman Brothers, from the moment they answered the phone and booked the appointment, to how they kept us updated on the expected arrival time of the plumber, to when Jake showed within hours (and exactly at the expected time), to when he left ... that part of the experience was great and I would highly recommend Jake and Hoffman Brothers.

Ask for Henry! He solved a 6-year reoccurring problem in a few hours, starting from the minute he got here. He gathered every bit of info, then gave a guarantee that he would find the problem, as well as the possible prices for each potential issue. Not only did he find the problem, he fixed it on the spot, and gave great advice for any future issues. He answered all of my questions, was covid-safe, extremely efficient, and down to earth. He even hooked our washer back up, cleaned up the small puddle, and ran all of the water in the house to make sure it worked. He didn't exaggerate any problems, and only tried up selling the membership after the job was done.

Thomas was the most knowledgeable HVAC repair person I've ever met, and I've met plenty. He conducted a very thorough examination of of the system checking the air flow, temp drop, system pressures, and current draw. He is the HVAC tech you want.

Hoffman Brothers was great from the start. They were transparent and set up a free consultation. Tyler was sent out to take care of my clogged pipe he was very professional COVID Safe and clean in appearance, he explained everything. The pipe was clogged so bad due to being ancient and my sons curiosity no doubt initially he wasn’t able to get it cleared from the sink however he knew exactly what to do he called for help due to a safety policy of not climbing a roof alone Mike arrived in no time and the two had my sink up and running in minutes. Mind you this was at 7pm I am amazed at how dedicated and professional Tyler and Mike are to their craft they are true pros ! I would recommend to anyone also the cost was more than fair .

We purchased a home that was 25 years old and have lived in it for 6 years. We built in a bonus room and had a mini split installed for the additional room. Hoffman has serviced a couple of my properties for the past year and I have had a great experience with them. Most recently, my AC stopped working and after significant troubleshooting on my end, I determined I could not fix the problem. I needed to replace my 12 yo failing(leaking) direct vent 50 gallon gas water heater. After calling several companies, I called Hoffman Bros and was able to get a quote directly over the phone! This is huge! Almost unheard of in this business. Moreover, the price quoted was lower than the 4 quotes I obtained from other local plumbing companies that I had to waste my time meeting just to get a overpriced quote. After receiving the quote, I scheduled the non emergency installation within 2 days. On the day of the installation, Chris Casing and his partner arrived on time, actually 15 to 20 minutes early, and got to work promptly. He fully explained the job and gave me a time estimate for completion. Knowing this, I was able to utilize this time to run some errands. Additionally, he offered to text me 30 minutes before completion so I could return and verify the work was completed as promised. Sure enough, Chris texted me 30 min prior to wrapping up. Upon my return, the new water heater was up and running!I would strongly urge anyone to use Hoffman Brothers for any plumbing needs. Their service was flawless end to end.

Great first experience with Hoffman. I was fortunate to get Quinn Barker as my technician. He was professional, took time to explain everything he was doing and took time for my questions. Definitely will seek out Quinn and Hoffman if I have other issues that come up.

I was impressed by Hoffman Brothers and will definitely use them again. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly nice, they got out rather quickly to fix my issues, they communicated consistently during the process, and Jake was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

The technician (Jake) was courteous and knowledgeable. He did excellent work and did his best to restore my yard after he had to dig it up. Since I did not ask for pricing before hand, I was quite shocked to get a $425 per hour charge (total of $800).

The team explained the problem and options for repair. They followed up quickly and completed the work just as they explained they would. The attention to detail and the work they did to repair the landscaping that was moved to get to the pipe in the yard was exceptional.

These guys were very courteous and friendly, answering all our questions. Their equipment was the best!

Cody came out today to do an end of season check on my AC unit and identified some issues that needed repair or replacement and provided me with options and the best way to proceed. We had a leaking hot water heater that needed to be replaced which meant the hvac needed to be replaced to because the system no longer exists. They knocked it all out in two days even with complications. They made sure everything worked a 100% and took good care of us. Billy, Chris and Mason were awesome to work with. They really knew their stuff.

We had some disagreements at first in how everything was going to be handled and I expressed my discontent. Brian didn't make me feel bad for having disagreements, but understandably his decision making is limited in some regards. Given the fact that I had the system installed by them, he had a manager reach out to me within 20 minutes and we talked. I can't remember his name, but he was very nice. There were some mistakes made on my part it sounds like, but he went above and beyond to reconcile the situation and we agreed to get what is needed done in a way that I think is fair for both parties. We called to get an inspection of our HVAC unit because it was struggling to cool; guy came out told us there was a leak in the system and we were low on refrigerant; gave us a quote of repairs that totaled $1900 but recommended a new unit because he said ours was too old. After he left, the AC stopped cooling entirely. We got a different company to come out for a second opinion. He checked refrigerant levels and said they weren't low at all, and that there were no sign of any leaks. He also found that the fan on the unit had been unplugged. He had the whole thing up and running in 20 minutes. He also only charged us $129 for the inspection and the repair. Do not go with Hoffman Brothers. They will gauge you, lie, and create scenarios where you’ll feel forced to spend a large amount of money. This is the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with.

Used them for prior service and they seem reasonable and honest. But when used for water heater replacement recently, cost was elevated in the amount of $2450 and that's with discount. Tried to obtain an itemized invoice but they were unable and unwilling to provide one. We feel this is unreasonable and unprofessional especially when all we wanted was to see where our $ was been spent. We're also going to file a complaint with BBB. Would not recommend using them in the future.

Matt came to our home to fix a water leak. We had a ton of water under our home and he seemed to know exactly where the leak was. He was professional nice and was in and out in no time.

The technician Chris was fantastic! He made sure we knew what was going on and answered all of our questions. He went above and beyond to help us out by fixing our entire set up. Our gas line is right next to the water heater and he fixes it to work the space better and make it safer. Very impressed with the whole experience and would definitely go back with any other issues.
