Disappointed. I needed a new water heater. They would not give any sort of ballpark on expected cost for the installation over the phone. I had to pay for them to send a guy to give me an estimate. I felt he was more of a sales guy than anything. They quoted three levels of installation in good-better-best tiers. Their cheapest water heater package was 20% more than the other company I had gotten a quote from and their top tier that they suggested was around two times the cost. My main take away was make sure you quote multiple companies.

My furnace quit working on December 23. It was nighttime and getting cold so I needed service ASAP. I called for service and ended up talking to Tom. He was ready to come and get the furnace working, but based on the symptoms he was able to talk me through the problem and we got it working over the phone! I have an older furnace, so to be able to know off the top of your head how to troubleshoot and fix a problem over the phone shows how talented this guy is.

Tom is a true pro and he saved me a ton of money! I will call Erickson from now on, and hopefully get Tom.

I am very pleased with Standard Heating. Beginning with scheduling for the tune-up, and service on my furnace. Our technician Nathan is very thorough and explains everything he checks and cleans. We are members of the Smart Club and are confident that our Furnace and A/C are being cared for. My AC (and furnace) are likely approaching the end of service and replacement options discussed. No pressure to do immediately. Work area cleaned up. Will likely use when replacement time comes.
