Tim was able to fix my emergency problem! He arrived quickly, listened to the details, and got to work fixing a leak and replacing some faulty parts. He was understanding, kind, and professional. Sent them email in early April to obtain a quote for some really basic work that needed done—dishwasher hookup, farmhouse sink hookup, gas line connection for new cooktop and running line to connect an ice maker (newly remodeled kitchen). Provided images with demarcation to make it super easy. No response. Called the office after a week to see if they got my email and to verify I sent it to the correct address. They were to get back to me but never did.

I gave up and hired someone else. I get it, contractors are super busy right now and demand is high. But you have to be responsive and communicative. I generally like to support smaller, local business but they’re too busy for me.

Found another plumber who was able to do the work and I’m hiring him for more stuff this summer. He was incredibly busy too but he returns calls and communicates.

I asked to install a shutoff valve on the cold water-in to the toilet in a rental property. Then, I wanted them to replace the valve assemby and float valve. The toilet was filling very slowly. Norblom replaced components in the tank, but didnt install a shutoff valve (I found this out later).

Then, I told them to install a new water faucet in the kitchen of the same unit (different appointment). While they were at it, might as well have them install shutoff valves under the kitchen sink, too. This is a 100 year old building that doesnt have modern conveniences. The person I spoke to at Norblom said I'll look into pricing the faucet because they apparently dont carry the type that unit needed (?).

A plumber went in and installed shut off valves under the sink, then left me a message saying he didnt have the parts to repair the faucet. I asked for a new one, not a repair.

I talked with the owner, the most I can offer is an $80 credit. They charge a $97 minimum, plus parts and any labor over 30 min. I've already paid $400 for the minimal work they've done. I'm not paying more. I found a guy on Craigslist that did everything I wanted that Norblom didnt, and perfect quality work, for much less $$.

Update on April 18, 2023: I had Brent D out for plumbing issues, and once again, the service was excellent. I’ve used Erickson a handful of times since my previous review and they continue to impress. Brent was awesome, explained my issues to me, kept to the quote, and did a fabulous job.

Everything from start to finish was a fabulous experience. I was very stressed out when I called initially as my water heater rusted out on a Sunday morning and my basement was flooded. I called and was quoted the usual pricey emergency quote and I couldn't afford it, but they called me back soon thereafter and talked me out of my panic mode by helping me solve the immediate issue so I can wait until Monday for normal service. Just for this, I was so thankful.

The tech - Mike P - showed up on time, stuck to their quote, went above and beyond with their repair, and was polite the entire journey. Definitely will use their service again. The technician was really cool and friendly as well. Wonderful experience for sure - despite the fact it all stemmed from a crumby emergency situation. Everyone I worked with was fantastic.

Best plumber in town, no question.

My wife and I just moved into our first home. I went to replace the shower head in the master bathroom and the whole arm came off. I tried calling three other plumbers only to get voicemails and haven't yet heard back from two. John answered right away and was at our house within 30 minutes of answering and had us back up and running one hour after I called him. Will absolutely keep using John's services!

Mark was a big help! He coached us through what he was going to do with our bathrooms. He did a very quick install. Our lower bathroom looks better than before and now has a functioning toilet. I would highly recommend asking for Mark A. when you call this company for service. Great job!

Called Kal's to get a new kitchen faucet installed and diagnose some low flow issues on the hot water.

They were great! Plumber (Mason, i think?) showed up right on time, got the new faucet installed in an hour and diagnosed the low flow issue just as quick.

Had a water leak and called Street Plumbing because of the great reviews. So glad I did, Jason and Nate arrived within a hour and fixed the leak. I would highly recommend Street Plumbing.
