From the initial phone call through installation the experience was exceptional!! The owner Kal, answered the phone, had me send a couple of pictures of our leaking water heater (mild) and sent Dale out the next morning to replace it. Dale is one of the nicest service people I have ever encountered. It was like inviting an old friend into our home. He was kind, professional and thorough. He even noticed our toilet was a bit wobbly and without a word or charge, fixed it!! Amazing!!

As the result of a DIY job on my part we had a leak form in the laundry room. Dale not only fixed the issue in less than 30 minutes but also took the time to teach me what caused the issue to occur and how to avoid similar issues in the future. He was so great to work with and was just a genuinely nice guy.

Kals came out to pull out and reinstall my my grandma's toilet when she had new floors installed and they were very professional and did work beyond what they charged for including fixing a cabinet door hinge when they noticed it was broken and installing her faucet without an upcharge. Wow!

Excellent service and communication, efficient and well priced. The plumber that came to my house was friendly, professional and talked me through a problem that I thought I had. He was able to explain to me how the pipes ran in the wall and how my solution would have not solved the problem. He could have done what I requested and charged me for the hour it would have taken but he was honest and up front telling me it wouldn't have made any difference. I would definetly recommend Kals Plumbing to anyone in need of a good plumber. I was referred to them by a neighbor who was also very happy with their sevice and pricing.

Everything was a success!! I guess you do save the best for last. Rick was the third plumber to come out and he was the only one who was able to determine the problem right away. Matt and another guy showed up on the scheduled day and on time. They did an excellent job and was very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Kal’s Plumbing.

I called to get a water quality test and potentially a new water softener. Kal called me back in less than 24 hours. As suspected, our MG water was extremely hard and our old softener wasn't working. Within 5 days, we had a brand new water softener installed and Matt fixed our leaky toilet as well. Both Kal and Matt were very instructive, explained the process and the equipment. Efficient, professional and respectful. These guys set the standard. Stop looking and hire these guys!

I had an excellent experience with Kal’s. I had a leak in my faucet, and called to get someone to repair it. Kal worked with me over the phone to diagnose the problem, provide a recommendation on a new faucet and then schedule a time for repair.

Mason arrived right on time the following day, replaced the new faucet in 30 minutes, and was extremely friendly and professional. When he was done, the area was cleaner than when he started and everything works great!

Payment was done right away with a credit card, I got an email receipt immediately and the cost was very reasonable, especially compared to when I’ve worked with other plumbing companies.

Super impressed and will definitely know who to call next time!

Kals came out today to install a new water heater only days after I contacted them about it. Dale came out and was professional, communicative, and exactly on time and the work he did was phenomenal.

Ive been getting the runaround from plumbers all over the city for months or they wouldnt return my calls. I contacted Kals on Monday night, heard back Tuesday morning, and by Thursday morning Dale was at my front door with the water heater I requested and was done several hours later.

I wont even contact any other plumber again, I will go straight to Kals no matter what. I highly recommend them for any service you need.

Called Kal's to get a new kitchen faucet installed and diagnose some low flow issues on the hot water.

They were great! Plumber (Mason, i think?) showed up right on time, got the new faucet installed in an hour and diagnosed the low flow issue just as quick.

I needed a garbage disposal replacement and I reached out to a few companies for estimates. I was blown away by Kal's in their communication, timing, and prices (another company quoted me easily double and potentially as much as quadruple Kal's quote). Mason called me a couple of hours ahead of my scheduled appointment and he was able to come earlier if it worked for me (which it did). He was friendly, professional, incredibly helpful with any and all questions I had. He even walked me through another issue which went way above and beyond. I will definitely call Kal's first for future plumbing needs!

I had Kal's out to fix several problems with my irrigation system. They provided high-quality, fast, and friendly service. I love that they do not charge you a trip fee (other than a small fuel surcharge) if you live within a certain area. Was only charged by the hour and for parts. After they completed their repairs I was given very thorough instructions for how to prevent the same problems in the future. I will definitely be using them again for my future plumbing needs.

On Saturday night we noticed that we had no hot water. Our water heater was about 15 years old and we noticed water under the unit; we knew we needed to replace it. We contacted several plumbers immediately; Kal's called us back within the hour (on a Saturday night!).
Over the phone he was able to give us an estimate of how much a new water heater would be and followed up the conversation with more information via text.
On Sunday morning Kal contacted us and he had a plumber (Dale) at our house within the hour to take measurements, as our water heater is packed into the smallest closet along with the HVAC and Softener. Dale looked at our utility room and explained step by step what he needed to do to replace the unit. Even though it was a Sunday and his birthday, he told us he couldn't let us go without hot water and could replace the unit immediately. We really felt he treated us like family.
Dale was so professional and considerate. We have a newborn at home and he was very understanding of our need to practice social distance.
I am so grateful that we found Kal's Plumbing. We will never call anybody else.

Just under two hours and 4 plumbing repairs completed for under $500. It seems like so much and then I think of the hours I would need to put in to do the job myself and only if everything went perfect, which it didn't in one case (shower valve), I already tried (sink stopper), and I didn't have the tools or skills for in the last two cases (replace exterior faucet and install shutoff valve for other exterior faucet). Well worth it!! Thanks Kal's Plumbing!

Rick and his team remodeled my main bath, and they did an absolutely stellar job. They were on time and professional, and took great care to keep my home clean and tidy in the midst of flying dust and debris. There were a couple of hiccups that were handled efficiently and with no extra work or cost to me, which I greatly appreciated. Everyone that worked on the project -- from the tile to the paint to the fixtures -- did fantastic work, and the end product looks amazing! Highly recommend Rick for any bathroom remodel or plumbing needs.

Thursday evening shower would not turn off so I had to turn off the waer to the house. I texted Karl's plumbing.
By 7 a.m., got a text that he would call me by 8. I got a call and by 10 someone was here fixing it and done by 11:15. He fixed the main issue and an issue where the faucet had not been done tight. He was careful, clean, friendly, and polite. $181 and all is well. was very pleased and will not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to my friends.

Update 2019: They truly saved me when, with my home up for sale and showings scheduled, they came out on short notice and replaced a water heater that had died -- and they did it in two hours, and I never lost a scheduled showing! Rock stars, they are plumbing rock stars!!

2017: They came out to do several jobs for me at once, in kitchen and bathroom, and did a positively excellent job on all three of them. They were reliable, showed up right as scheduled, they were prepared with everything they needed, had everything done in two hours, and were exceptionally clean (not all plumbers are!). They were very attentive to the little things, very picky about things being just right (as am I). I also got a lot of good advice from them on avoiding problems in the future. Price was VERY reasonable -- they quoted me a maximum which I thought was fair -- and then they came in under that.

Wow! I am so grateful my neighbors recommended Kal's to me. They identified my ancient bathtub fixture without even seeing it, over the phone, just by a description and the year the house was built. Super knowledgeable and what nice guys! They treated me like family. The plumber who did my work was not only easy to have in the house, but he saved me hundreds of dollars by repairing a fixture rather than replacing it, and even included several small jobs at no charge. I'm so impressed. Would recommend them to anyone.

Had a small leak pop up in one of my old copper pipes. Within a couple hours the morning of my call, Kal's had guy on site, walking me through the problem, and telling me how he was going to fix it. Great service.

All I can say is WOW! Such amazing service and so professional. I came home to a leaking water heater and called Kal's Plumbing. They were out in 2 hours to measure for a new one and back 2 hours later installing. Very professional service and would highly recommend!

We have used Kal's Plumbing for over 25 years and have highly recommended to so many! Rick and all the guys are so personable and professional. They have done so many different things for us, incl. kitchen remodel help, new water heaters, water softener, leak analysis/fix, update advice, new faucets, toilets, etc. Rick is an excellent communicator and able to diagnose problems and have the right solutions the first time. All who work at Kal's are great. Many have been to our home and all have done excellent work with no repeat visits necessary. Their work is top notch and they are so friendly. They also care about our community and actively give back in volunteerism and donations. Plumbing work turned out really nice. Super easy to work with Rick and his staff. Ask for Matt to be the lead plumber. He worked on our custom shower and the hardware install turned out perfect.

Also, way more reasonable than most any other shop. Compare and you'll find out for yourself.

I recommend asking this contractor and any other contractor to point out things they see that aren’t right. I had trouble with framing and that trouble cascaded through nearly every bit of the remaining work. Kal's and many contractors will point things like this out, but it doesn’t hurt to remind them to say something if they see something.
