Rick and Tim came to help me relocate a drain in my kitchen and did a wonderful job. They were both friendly and professional and clearly walked me through my options. I really appreciate that during COVID-19 they were both wearing masks without me having to ask (seriously, thank you for caring about your customers!!). Should I have any future plumbing needs, Jake the Plumber will be the first people I call! Booking process was also very slick; all online and very quick response times. I had a plugged kitchen sink. They arrived on time and even before they did any work they told me the total cost would be $450. They removed the drain trap under the sink and then ran a snake through the pipe. It took a total of 10 minutes to do this. They unclogged the line but I thought $450 for 10 minutes of work was a bit ridiculous. I will never use them again or recommend them because of their inflated price. When I initially called and asked how much it would cost, I was told the trip charge was $59 and then there would be additional cost depending on what work needed to be done. It would have been nice to know upfront that for a simple drain clog the minimum price would be $450. I have never spent this much money before to unclog a drain. With previous people, I was billed after the work is complete because it depended how much time was spent on the project and what was involved.

Technician, Chris, was friendly and explained what needed to be done. Dispatch communication is excellent as well. I knocked one star off only because I think the price was excessive but then again I've never had to call a plumber before.An hour after the tech left, another Roto-Rooter employee surprisingly was at my door offering to give an estimate for the water damage restoration. I was thinking...GREAT SERVICE! Felt bad for the guy though, it was his first day on his own, his iPad was locking him out, and after about 2 hours there, he wasn't able to complete the estimate. Ultimately, I choose not to use Roto-Rooter for the restoration. I thought the price is alarmingly high for what is needed at my house. I would rather pay a contractor to rip out the old wet drywall and insulation and replace with new. Nothing else was damaged, so I can't really justify paying the high cost of restoration services just to have someone tear down a wet ceiling and insulation in 1/2 of my garage. I may even tackle it myself this weekend.

We had recently purchased a home and almost immediately detected a backed up complicated sewer / toilet. the problem was not addressed by another company and Corey was great at addressing and diagnosing the problem on a Saturday, offering immediate and long term solutions to our problem that was bigger than we anticipated.
