Maybe not the cheapest…but had another issue with floor drain backing up. Technician took ample time to snake the drain and assure us it was fixed. Lifetime guarantee also, so that speaks volumes. And coming out on a Saturday with no extra trip charge is a bonus. Thank you!!

Called requesting consultation for my mothers home after seeing so many positive reviews. The woman on the phone was very nice - I explained to her it was not urgent and she was kind and set us up for Mon/Tues. My mother called on Monday to ask for a time to ensure she would be there and the gentleman she spoke to said i am too busy to do this today... then proceeded to tell us there was a fee for his time.
Called today to let them know that we would no longer be needed their services due to the rude behavior of this man (we do not need to give our limited resources to people like that) and he initially hung up on me because he thought I took to long to talk, then I called back and he pick up the phone frustrated IS ANYONE THERE?
Get a grip dude...you are way to rude to be picking up the phone.
I'd pass on this place, there are plenty of options in the Twin Cities.

I called Discount Plumbing because my sinks were backing up. They said they could have someone out in a few hours. I had them come the next morning. I was given a window of 8-11am and a quote over the phone. At 8:10am I received a call from Mike, my plumber that he was 20 mins away. He arrived exactly 20 mins later. Mike was friendly and worked fast. He got the drains moving in about 30 mins. Price was exactly what I was quoted. No hidden fees. Mike cleaned up after himself too. Will definitely use Discount Plumbing again.

We had the best experience with Alex - he was extremely accurate, thorough, and truly went above and beyond!We had a very complex leak and our association had called multiple other companies to come out, but none were able to identify the cause and next steps. When we called Paul Bunyan Plumbing, Alex came out and he almost immediately identified the issue, ran all the appropriate tests, was extremely clear, helpful and friendly - he is an absolute lifesaver!!This is an amazing company, trust them with all your plumbing needs!

I hired this company to unclog my kitchen sink. I initially talked to Joe by phone and he told me they would guarantee to unclog my pipe, which turned out not to be true. Brett came to snake the pipe. He seemed nice and professional. He worked for 1.5 hours and could not fix my pipe. He charged me $300 for it and told me my pipe had corrosion that was preventing the snake to go through. (PS: I hired another company and that was not the case. The pipe was clogged due to thickened cooking oil.) He told me he would charge me $3800 to fix it. This was a high price, but it was in a reasonable range. So, I agreed for him to come back and fix the pipe. He came back with Joe, who sounded more like a slimy car salesman rather than a plumber. He changed his word and told me he was going to charge me $4800 instead of $3800 that Brett promised earlier. He also told me he was not going to clean up after he fixed the pipe and I was responsible to do it myself. In other words, after paying him almost $5000, I had to hire someone else to pour cement and fix the damage. That is just unacceptable. I have no idea how this company is still in business. They really need to get rid of Joe. Brett would do a much better job running the business.

Efficient and professional. I highly recommend Janecky. In 2008 they resolved a plumbing problem within 20 minutes of being onsite - a problem another local plumber could not fix despite making 4 failed attempts. Just used Janecky again (Oct 2016) for a new water heater with install, another great customer service experience. Use them, you will be impressed!

The cost is higher than some other businesses, but the customer service rep offered to apply a $75 coupon. Tone, the tech who cleaned the drain, was professional, kind and efficient. No hidden or surprise charges. Very pleased!
