I called early in the week to schedule a plumber to come to my house and fix a leak. The window was 12pm-1pm Friday the 22nd. They sent me an email the day of the appointment to confirm and I did so. I get to my house shortly before noon on the day of the appointment and wait for the plumber to show up. At 1 pm no one has shown up nor has anyone contacted me to tell me they would be late. I called and text shortly after 1 pm to find out if anyone is coming. No one answered the phone and about 20 minutes later I did get a text stating the plumber was running late and would not be there till after 2:30 pm. I am rather disappointed that I wasn't notified earlier that they would be late and could not make the scheduled time.
I realize that things happen and the appointments are made ahead of time based upon scheduled finishes and not everything goes as planned. What bothers me is that no one reached out to me before 1 P. M. to tell me that they would be late. You know at 12:30 that you will not make your 1P.M. appointment, you should have called or reached out to me before hand.

Edit: They followed up with me and took full responsibility for the lack of communication. I was impressed with their professionalism and wanting to fix the issue.

Morgan wanted to cut new holes under my bathroom sink and re-plumb drain line which did not need to be done. I wanted a new pop- up for my sink. I called in another plumber and they fixed my problem without cutting new holes under my sink.

Andrew was very efficient and knowledgeable. I had a late emergency and he came quickly. If I have another emergency I will definitely request Andrew

Right off the bat when talking to the scheduler/operator I had a feeling this place was not at all professional. When the tech arrived with tools in a bucket I didn't feel any better.

And then the time came for the fix...
The tech didn't have a handle puller to pull my shower faucet handle off. I stupidly agreed to pay a visit fee of $80 on the weekend. I regretted it right away because the tech had no shot to fix the problem, not having the tool to get past step one.

Don't go with this place. Absolutely no reason to pick them over an Eric Nelson Plumbing or Athena or Burnomatic or Uptown Plumbing.

Didn't get the refund I was after either,
A week later (Saturday) I called them to ask for some sort of refund. The person on the other end said it was busy that Easter weekend and told me they'd look into it and call me back on Tuesday. It's now the following Monday and I never got a call. Called them and ranted as politely as I could. He offered me 10% off my next plumbing job with them. Ha.

Great company open 24 hours a day 7 days a week

Set up an appointment for them to come out. They said they would be there between 11 and 1. They never showed up. I called to see what the deal was and the woman that answered the phone said. Oh.Their response that I'm confused - I just confirmed that the number I called to set the appointment is the number advertised on their website, so it is the correct business.

Super fast response and action taken to pipe leak in basement. Great work at a reasonable price. Will use again in the future.

As a new homeowner Chris was great at addressing my questions, issues, and providing clear answers and solutions. He left me with a better understanding of the plumbing in my house as well as addressing safety issues and engaging in preventative maintenance.

Without a doubt, one of the best companies I've had experience with. Not only did their customer service excelled in every way, they knew exactly what they were doing for such an affordable price. Will be calling Joe again!

I've been using Janecky for over 2 decades. Most recently they installed a cast iron tub, facuet and drain system, pulled all the proper permits, passed everything without issue. They are really good at what they do. Show up as scheduled, stand by their work, using legitimate licensed plumbers whom they treat really well. I see their trucks all over the twin cities for a reason. Call Dave and Shelly Janecky and give them you're business.

We had extensive electrical work done by our team spanning 4 days, to include panel replacement, adding a service in our garage for a hobby woodshop and future electric cars and numerous lighting and outlet upgrades. Matt, Jack and Dylan did an exemplary job on our huge list. They were very professional, fun and took the time to answer questions along the way. We will miss having them around.

I had a plugged kitchen sink. They arrived on time and even before they did any work they told me the total cost would be $450. They removed the drain trap under the sink and then ran a snake through the pipe. It took a total of 10 minutes to do this. They unclogged the line but I thought $450 for 10 minutes of work was a bit ridiculous. I will never use them again or recommend them because of their inflated price. When I initially called and asked how much it would cost, I was told the trip charge was $59 and then there would be additional cost depending on what work needed to be done. It would have been nice to know upfront that for a simple drain clog the minimum price would be $450. I have never spent this much money before to unclog a drain. With previous people, I was billed after the work is complete because it depended how much time was spent on the project and what was involved.

He’s services my mainline multiple times and always does a quality job. He was very responsive when I was in dire straits. He will be my first call every time I need a plumber for life.

I called Roto-Rooter on Friday evening. Aleister was out within an hour with his bubbly, positive attitude. What I thought was a main drain issue was not. He was unable to locate it and called to have a camera come in the following morning. There was no charge for this visit. Saturday morning, Spencer was there. He tried to use his camera and was not able to see much due to the standing water (and to come to find out, the way the pipes were installed in my old house). He gave me the bad news that it was going to cost a few thousand to tear up the floor and re-route the pipes. He would have his guy come by Monday afternoon. Cody showed up and took a look with all his equipment. He wanted to know what he was working with. The install of my pipes that I mentioned earlier, made it difficult to get to the clogged pipe. But he was able to snake it at just the right angle and remove the clog without any other services needed. What I thought would cost me thousands, only cost $400 because of everyone's through inspections. I am so happy that I am able to use the sinks in my house again. Very fair and high attention to detail.

Josh (4348) arrived when promised and was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us. With the rains that made everyone's basement flood, our floor drain also backed up making our flooding worse. He quickly fixed the problem and fixed the broken and uneccesary part so it hopefully never happens again! He was able to fit us in days before anyone else and with his service we won't go anywhere else!

Corey and Todd were great! I had a mainline sewer repair and Corey came out right away when I contacted him. He explained the work that he needed to do to make the repair, both prior to the repair and during the repair process. His quote for the work was competitive and reasonable. He cleaned up after doing the work and was all-around great to work with. I would highly recommend Metro Earthworks!!
