RotoRooter was called because water was backing up in the garbage disposal sink. On Monday, RotoRooter dispatched a tech who failed to notice the water back up and who performed a snake operation (that ultimately was not needed) charging me $411. After the tech left, I ran water into the garbage disposal sink and the water continued to back up. I quickly called RotoRooter to let them know the problem I called them about was NOT fixed. The next day, a RotoRooter plumber showed up. I showed him the problem and he told me there would be an additional $875 charge. I then asked him what it would cost to remove the disposal and simply replumb that sink to act like a ‘normal’ sink. The charge would remain the same, and he would NOT discount it by the unnecessary $411 charge incurred by the first tech a day earlier. I strongly objected. Ultimately, the plumber called his boss and agreed to reduce the total to $725. I agreed, only because we needed the kitchen sink to work properly. But please know how unhappy we were with the RotoRooter service provided, which wound up taking two days with 2 different techs. And in the end, the overall price to remove the garbage disposal and replumb the sink was in my opinion way out of line for the work done and the inconvenience RotoRooter caused. Suffice it to say, we will not be using RotoRooter in the future.

Had a main-line clog in the morning. Same day, a service personnel (# 3756) was able to come out and clear it; no issues now.

I would give a 10 if I could! We had to have wall hung toilets in our condo, our first plumber was out of his league. we suffered for 2 years with barely functioning toilets. When Hovde came on the job, they had the problem solved immediately, even though it was tricky and difficult. And Sue is the most wonderful manager ever! She tolerated my frustration that was actually directed at prior plumbers, laughed with me, and got it done with grace and efficiency. USE THIS COMPANY! You will be very happy!

Bob was very nice and honest. He came out to flush the water heater and also gave me an assessment of how the pipes and water pressure are in this old house. These guys are the best.

A terrific plumbing contractor. Our Combi-Core water heater went out on the weekend before Thanksgiving. I was able to get a call back on a Sunday afternoon with a replacement quote based on pictures I sent and was promised to be put on their schedule that week. The office communicated the specifics and Isaac and Tom arrived promptly on time. They were personable, professional, and retained their great attitudes even after having to work through some delivery complications that extended their day. Isaac went above and beyond by answering many questions, advising me of maintenance tips to extend the unit's life, replaced a faulty pressure/temp gauge, and then labeled every shut off/valve on our 'complicated' water system.

This was a pretty big job. Technician arrived fairly early within the time window, was pleasant, professional and diligent. The cost was well within reason, especially for the amount of time it took. I'm happy with the service received.

Had a backed up floor drain in the basement. Brian arrived early, at the very start of the given service window, which I appreciated. He was very courteous and careful in the house. He got the job done quickly and efficiently with minimum mess. He was good with making suggestions for next steps in assessing the condition of my drain pipe to the street. I called Roto-Rooter to get a second opinion after another plumber gave me what seemed like an outrageous quote. My intuition was correct. Should have called Roto-Rooter to begin with.

I was referred to Metro Earthworks and I am so thankful I was. Our job seemed simple but turned complex quickly. They are highly skilled problem solvers that worked towards a solution and not towards an opportunity to take advantage of the situation. The owner, Corey, was there from start to finish – prepping the site, running the equipment, and cleaning up. They are the only company I would work with if you are in need of sewer repair.

Jesse was out at my home that’s currently undergoing a basement remodel. Super nice guy and did exceptionally good work. Highly recommend. His plumbing is tidy and thoughtful. While he was out he found time to remove some unused saddle valves as well as install a filtered hot water line to our hot tub. Cool trick Jesse!

We had the privilege of working with Logan who came out to fix our A/C. He came within the time-range we were originally told, he was friendly and respectful, he was very thorough yet direct with his explanation of the problem, and he did not try to sell us on things we did not need. My husband even asked him what Logan's thoughts were on us upgrading to a new A/C unit, and he was very honest and told us that it wasn't necessary at this time, that we could probably get another 5-10 years out of our current one and that the repair he was suggesting that day was all that was needed. Their prices were a bit high, but in today's market and with it being in the middle of the summer, we weren't terribly shocked. We highly recommend them for these reasons! As this was our first time using them for anything since we're new to the area, we will definitely be using them again for any of our HVAC needs in the future.

Very fast, knowledgeable service. He came out within a couple hours of receiving our call in the evening and had our laundry room back-up fixed in no time. Gave great advice and we had him out a couple days later to replace some pipes too. He was efficient and even did a quick fix on our toilet at the last minute at no charge. Prices are very reasonable and he saved us a ton of money on our water bill with the toilet fix. He is definitely going to be our regular plumber. Highly recommend!

Great service

My first interactions with RightMark were positive. Mark took the time to talk us through a whole list of minor issues that were flagged in our home inspection. When he let us know his pricey hourly rate, we pared down our list significantly to the red-flagged items only. By then, however, we'd shown our cards as naive first-time homeowners.

When Mark's plumber arrived, he didn't have the updated pared down list, so we had to pay for the time it took to explain the updated list. When the plumber took off the toilet to change the wax ring, he told us our toilet was beyond repair and asked us whether we wanted to buy a new toilet then and there. We had to take him at his word, and we really had no choice but to say yes because we only have one bathroom and we don't have a car.

We ended up having to pay for the plumber's time to pick up the toilet plus the marked-up price on the toilet plus time to retrieve a different seat because he picked up the wrong one the first time around. We also had to pay for the time it took for the plumber to find out from Mark how much the toilet would cost. Mark was in a meeting when the plumber first called, so we had to pay for the plumber to wait for Mark's response. And the plumber wasn't clear in the quote that he gave for the toilet whether it was for parts or parts and labor. I misunderstood that the quote was for parts and labor.

In the end, to replace the wax ring and the toilet, dispose of the old toilet, and to have one pipe connection manually tightened and one gas pipe capped, we paid a whopping $851.
