A technician was able to come out the same evening I discovered water in my basement. He communicated with me about every step of his process. He was very professional and respectful.

We found ourselves with a clogged drain on a Sunday and Pablo was to us in less than an hour. He took care of everything promptly. We highly recommend Pablo to anyone who needs a high quality solution provided by a kind and professional person.

Terrible! We explained our plumbing problem and scheduled a plumber. He arrived on time but couldn't repair the shower BUT said he would come back and bring the replacement parts and fix it. He came back AND DIDN'T FIX ANYTHING! But we were charged for 2 SERVICE CALLS! Absolutely ridiculous!

We have used Cutting Edge Sewer and Drain twice for our main sewer in our South Mpls home. The first time we had our main sewer back up and they were able to come out within 24 hours. The tech was great and talked us through the process and let us know what was wrong and what we could do in the future to prevent backups again. We called on them again 9 months later to do preventative maintenance and again we had great service. They called to let us know they were on the way. When they got to our house they were friendly and prompt. They left our space the way they found it. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends or family!

We had repeated problems with a backed-up toilet and had plumbers out many times to clear the clogs. Rob and Jose from General Rooter not only removed the clog but also determined why the toilet was clogged so often. By running their fiber optic camera down the pipe, they found two what they called “bellies,” low spots where the pipe had sagged and didn’t drain properly. This, along with cracks seen in the video, requires us to excavate the cement slab to replace the pipe, and Rob referred us to a plumber they trusted to do the job well.

They could have just cleared the clog but went further to provide a solution to prevent reoccurrences. Thank you General Rooter!

Brad was very friendly and did a great job. He cleared out my clogged utility drain and replaced the the old drain basket because he found it had a leak. I would highly recommend Guy's Sewer & Drain and will use again if needed.

Only complaint was cost to clear drain was not revealed until he was here. Cost was exorbitant ($430.00 for less than an hours work)so will not ever use them again!

My wife and I have had two experiences with Roto Rooter (RR), and neither of them were great. First, we had RR come out to look at our dripping bath faucet. The issue was with old handles that needed to be replaced, but the tech said he couldn't get the old handles off and suggested that we needed to take everything down and apart to do the work and that he otherwise couldn't fix the issue. However, we had a second company out that was able to replace the handles with no problems and fixed the dripping faucet . The one positive thing about this experience was that RR didn't charge us.As for the second experience, we figured we would give them another chance, so we had RR out to get a quote for clearing our basement floor drain. Like last time, the tech suggested more work was needed, as he said the floor drain and main sewer line should both be cleared. We had a second company out who said (and confirmed what a third company stated on the phone) only the floor drain needed to be cleared. Consequently, the total cost was less than half of what RR quoted. Again, the one positive thing was that RR didn't charge us for the visit and estimate.I am giving RR three stars because of the free visits and estimates and good customer service. The two visits from RR were not great though, which is disappointing considering RR generally has good reviews online. Thus, as is recommended for just about all services you hire someone to perform, I suggest getting a second quote if you get one from RR or any plumber or drain cleaner.

Matt's Plumbing Solutions came highly recommended to us from a good friend. Matt came out to give an estimate to replace a very old toilet and vanity in our South Minneapolis home. In the process he looked at some plumbing beneath the bathroom that we have questions about. Matt was able to provide excellent information and solutions to our problems at a reasonable price. Scheduling with the team was easy. They came out and replaced the two fixtures as well as most of the piping beneath. They did an amazing job! When the toilet cracked a couple weeks later due to an issue with the old original flange, Matt came out right away to fix the problem. He and the team were friendly and I felt very comfortable having them in our home. We are new to Minneapolis and it gives me great peace of mind to know we have someone we can trust in the future. Sabastian called and texted me to confirm my appointment. On day of appointment, he also gave courtesy call to inform me of his estimated arrival time. He came with his trainee on time and replaced 2 compression stops underneath my bathroom sink. They got the job done on a timely manner and explained everything in a way that I can understand. I appreciate that he also took the time to recommend replacing my water softener and explained why it needs to be replaced. Due to his professionalism and got the job done right on a timely manner, I will recommend Sabastian to my friends and family. Thank you!
