Best Fixture Replacement in Memphis TN

I am new to Memphis and needed a new hot water heater and a variety of other plumbing needs. After reading all the 5-star reviews of Smith’s Plumbing, my decision on a company was made. The experience from the quote to install was as expected (based on the reviews) - absolutely professional. The installer - Cody - showed up on time and inspired confidence from the start. Each portion of our job was done professionally, including a hot water heater replacement in a pull-down attic above the garage. Cody and his team did a terrific job!! There is more to the story, however. Part of our extensive quote involved a new vent through our roof, which required another contractor and additional cost. This cost was included in our original quote, but they found a new vent that did not require any roof modification - good news. I called Will, who provided the original quote, to discuss the fact that this roof work was not necessary. He whole-heartedly agreed and refunded that portion of the job within minutes...single digit minutes. Actually, I believe the money was refunded less than 2 minutes, and I am not embellishing. If you are new to Memphis (or not) and want the best, call Smith’s Plumbing. I have owned a multitude of homes in many different states over the years. I immediately made Will/Smith’s Plumbing a contact on my phone and will be the first phone call I make for ANY plumbing needs. *updated 11/4/2020 - we used them for new clawfoot tub and new toilets. They were, once again, FANTASTIC!

I had NEP come out in June to fix a leaking toilet. Gus came out and was very unprofessional. I let him know we have an elderly in the home so please wear a mask and he laughed in my face. I thought he fixed the problem but it leaked within a few weeks. They sent another person back to try to fix it and still couldn’t leak. I’ve been trying to get them to come out and fix the issue. The Secretary was suppose to order a part. I called every week to see progress for the gasket because they had been working on the toilet and I didn’t want to have someone else touch it. 6 weeks later, I got a hold of the secretary again (she was never there when I would call) and she told me she never ordered the part because there’s no part to be had. When I asked when did she know there was no part to order, she responded that she knew when she was trying to order the part 6 weeks ago. I would not use this company. They don’t stand behind their workmanship, have unprofessional plumbers, and will put you as the last priority when they have to come back to fix things they didn’t do properly in the first place.
