The service provided by Above and Beyond Electric Company was excellent. Their technicians were knowledgeable and courteous. They made sure the work area was clean before they left. Would use again for any electrical issues.

John and Jason were both great. Very quick to isolate and repair an issue with my home electrical outlets that could’ve set the house on fire it was so bad. Thank you gentleman.

John was great! Very helpful and explained everything to me so I understood what we needed to do. He was also very gracious to help me when I accidentally locked the door to the room we were having the work completed!

For the price, better communication, follow through, job completion the first time (as commissioned) and arrival within a reasonable time of set appointments shouldn't be too much to ask (as well as communication when the appointment can't be met within several hours of schedule to determine if client should reschedule or is okay with being stranded waiting on service). Following up with advice or a plan to fix devices or equipment that isn't working seems to be an area to improve as well as communication for either the removal, disposal or retention of unused equipment. We went with Above & Beyond despite their being one of the higher bids.

I would recommend Above and Beyond and especially their technician Zach Bing to anyone seeking electrical help. Zach quickly diagnosed my problem and gave me a few options to fix it. He then fixed the problem and explained to me how to fix it if I have the same issues with other outlets. I hope I don’t need help in the future but I will call Above and Beyond if I do.

We had a different plumbing organization replace a section of the main pipe in our yard. When they did they cut an electrical line running between our two street lights. While they said they would mark it they did not. Above and Beyond provided a quote, they were very helpful in scheduling and came out with all of the right tools to find the line and do minimal damage in location and reconnecting the line. Overall, we could not be happier with their service and are looking forward to using both their plumbing and electrical services on a bathroom remodel. The customer service was very helpful and the work was very professional.

Robert and Zach showed up on time and were very professional in how they presented the quote and did the work. The work was in a difficult area to get to and they came up with a solution to complete the job. They cleaned up afterward and removed all boxes and packing material. I would definitely use this company again for any electrical work.

Robert and Zach came because our central a/c was not getting power. They didn't leave until they were satisfied they had for sure found the problem which ended up being one of breakers, which they replaced. They also changed out the receptacle the unit plugged into because they found the wiring was old and done differently now then when the house was built in 1990. They were both pleasant and I felt very comfortable with both of them and would certainly highly recommend Above and Beyond and will definitely use them for any more problems we might have i the future!! Great service!

I was referred to them by my cousin who works with them professionally. They said they would be here about 230. at 229, they pulled up in front of my house. the looked for the cause pf the problem and completed an estimate. I agreed and away they went. a half hour later, my AC is working. They suggested improvements which I will have dome. They explained it may take all day so I will be prepared. One thing ont on this lise above wa friendliness. My Andy, the wonder dog is alert to every move. The young men tried to make friends.

They were prompt, courteous, and respectable. They got to the problem and completed the job without a hitch.
Will definitely use them again. I could not be more pleased.

Repaired gas lantern

We wanted three new smart switches to control exterior lighting. We bought the switches but when I opened up the existing switches there were no ground wires. Above and beyond fished out the necessary wiring and installed the switches. They also diagnosed the issue with a flashing under cabinet light and installed a new one. The service was quick and professional and the end product has the look of someone who cares about the quality.

Robert and Zach were extremely polite and thorough. They explained all the work in detail and fixed a problem we had for years that other electricians could never spot. We were beyond thrilled and will definitely use them again and refer to all of our family and friends.

Due to a fire and grounding hazard in the meter box, I was without power on Friday afternoon, before July 4th weekend. Despite the last minute notice on a busy day leading into a holiday weekend, Nathan and his crew came out that afternoon, and I had power again by 5:15 that evening. They were all very friendly, and the work was very well done. Several days later, when I began to have problems again, Nathan came back out after hours to personally assess and repair the problem, which was in the breaker box this time. I'm very impressed and would recommend this company as professional and courteous.

Above and Beyond Electrical has more than lived up to their name for me on multiple occasions. Nathan, Zach, and Robert have all surpassed what was required of them and provided me with exceptional service that, frankly, is a rarity today. Every project they have helped me on has turned out to yield phenomenal results.Nathan was very professional and got the job done quickly and masterfully on his first visit. In particular, Zach and Robert dedicated almost an entire day helping me install some rather difficult star light panels for my home theatre. They never complained, were courteous, found solutions through some hardships they encountered, and ultimately provided me with some of the best service I've ever received from a company. Not to mention their staff (Kim and Pam) excel in their own right, as they are polite and helpful whenever I call for service. John was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I will use this company again for my electrical needs and repairs.

We had a few projects across the house 1) replace the single kitchen light with four canless LEDs, 2) add a canless LED over the sink on a separate on/off switch, 3) replace the single light fixture in the hall with two canless LEDs, and 4) install two canless LEDs in the laundry room.

The electrician that surveyed the work pointed out some things to consider that we hadn't thought of and offered some options. The electricians that showed up were professional, took pains to protect our kitchen from their work, and were only here a couple of hours. The work was top notch and we're happy with the results. I would use this company on my next project.

The folks at Above and Beyond are friendly and helpful. John H. had been to my house for another a job in the last year or two, but this time he was here over several days and tackled a long list of electrical tasks in my main home and in my guest house. He was polite and efficient and did everything we asked including additional tasks after the estimate was written. He even dutifully went and bought supplies I was supposed to have bought after I couldn't find them at Home Depot. John and his sidekick (Nick, I believe) were just great and they were sticklers about cleaning up as well. I will use this company again.

Above and Beyond was recommended to me by an acquaintance. They have completed two jobs for me as of June 14, 2018. In both cases, the work was efficiently and professionally done. The electrical crew was respectful of my home and of my time. They were here at the promised time. Today's work involved digging a short trench in my yard; John and his helper did this neatly, with the least disruption to my lawn that was possible, and covered the dug-out space. I'm very pleased, and will use this company again!

Best experience ever with electricians. Rob and Glenn were courteous and professional and best of all they honored my request to take extra care with my new hardwood floors. After completing the job they removed all of the old light fixtures as well as the boxes. And they donate the old fixtures to Habitat for Humanity which makes me happy to know that rather than going into a landfill my old fixtures will go to a new home! I highly recommend this company and crew.

I had noticed a water puddle in my front yard and after confirming it was coming from underground I scheduled above and beyond to come out. The wait was two days out, called Tuesday and confirmed they would handle this type of situation. I get a call at 4:55 PM Wednesday from the receptionist saying the plumber wants me to first call a company called leak detection to first come out and confirm that the water leak wasn’t from somewhere obvious. Well first, I confirmed they handled this when scheduling, calling at 5 pm the next day pushed me getting a plumber to come out and access the scene to past the weekend, and the defection company wanted $400 dollars for what seemed to be obvious. So anyway I called roto rooter who came out and tried to tell me the same thing but said that it seemed to be coming front right underground and would charge 150 to dig there to see and sure enough it was right in the obvious location. If above and beyond cared to come out and assess it before padding their buddies pockets, they could have kept my business.

Guys were incredible. 100% professional and courteous. Will use them from here on out. They were kind, trustworthy, and did very nice and clean work. Not sure they missed a detail.

We recently bought a home and had quite a list of electrical needs. These included switching out light fixtures, putting in an outlet in a closet, and adding an outlet higher above the other one.

Some of our wiring was old school and were lacking a base as well as our TV media closet needing some serious wiring problem solving going through the upstairs bonus room and attic. John and Jensen were responsible, respectful, knowledgeable and on time (15 mins early actually!!). They handled all of our heavy light fixtures with care as well. We will definitely be using them again!

Very pleased with the work John and Glen did at the house. They installed some light fixtures and a ceiling fan. Did great work.

I take responsibility for not asking estimate on a straight forward connections. Not criticizing the work. That was all professional. Where I have an issue with is the hourly rate. $300.00 an hour plus $89.00 service call charge. That was for 3 connections, one was running a wire from one outlet to the new one 3 feet away. The other was basically wired wired with a few corections. The only supplies were the one regular outlet and a box($8 worth of materials). All wire was in place or utilized from my stash. Again, job done right, but the exorbitant charges for 1.25 hours easy labor. I trusted a fair price for time but this was beyond going rates that I have heard about.
I doubt you will respond with some sort of explanation.

The company called me back quickly after I left a message on voicemail what my problem was. I had called 3 plumbers previously and none called back because it was a job that's not their favorite. They were at my house next morning and had it fixed before noon. Very courteous and professional.

John Hofman came out surveyed site, provided accurate quote & completed install of brand new circuit for my 220v dryer. Works great, resolved weeks of disputes between dryer manufacturer & another electrician. Very happy.

I read online reviews and decided to schedule a service call for an electrical outlet issue. Pam scheduled an appointment and even called a few days early when a technician became available to make the service call.

John was my primary tech, he had a helper but I didn't get his name. John was AWESOME!! He quickly located the problem and solved it. I was very impressed because another electrician told me I needed a much more expensive solution when the source of the problem was simply a brand new outlet that had recently been installed but was defective.

John also solved a minor lighting issue with a hall light that I wired incorrectly when I upgraded the switches.

I highly recommend Above and Beyond, the service was great, everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional and the price for the service was very reasonable.

We had minor work completed for our office today. Robert and Zach were very nice. They completed the work with ease and with as little disruption as possible which is huge in a practice that is seeing patients. The only draw back was they switched my appointment from a morning to an afternoon the day of. It didn't effect what we needed but it could have it the work was in patient rooms. I will be keeping there card and we will use them again if we find ourselves in need!

We recently bought a home in midtown and were having some scary issues with our electric. John and Glen came out and did not leave us waiting. The appointment window was between 8-8:30am and they arrived a few minutes after 8. We talked to them about the issue and they got right to work. They were very knowledgeable and were able to recommend different solutions to the problem. They were very honest and respectful with our home, and put everything back just as it was when they arrived. John and Glen were able to put my worries at ease and fix the major concern that day. They also gave me an estimate for a few other projects that need completed. I definitely will use Above and Beyond Electric, and request John and Glen in the future!

Rob was our technician and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. He was very polite, courteous, he listened well, and he took time to speak with me in order to explain what he was doing, why he was performing the tasks he was performing, and how much the procedures would cost. I never felt pressured to have any of the work completed. After I explained to Rob everything that I could see was wrong, he said that he would get to work right away, he checked out the areas of concern and completed that task well. The wonderful thing is that he kind of had a feeling that something wasn't quite right with our microwave area. He found the problem and then explained it and the costs to me. I never felt that I was being pushed into getting any done. He cleaned up after himself and took care of all issues swiftly He was a great listener. Had he not been able to read between the lines then he would have missed the problem with my microwave. He fixed it and now I don't feel like anyone will blow up

Pam was a delight to speak with as well. She called me fifteen minutes before Rob arrived, which gave me time to clean up and get things out of his way. I'm normally not a cheerful person in the morning but with this team, being cheerful just become part of how it should be.

John put covers on his shoes so as not to carry dirt from shoes inside the house. Nathan from Above and Beyond came out and gave me a quote on some work. I had another well known company come out and give me a quote too. The other company was going to charge me over 100% more than AB. AB came out and did the work perfectly. The two guys they sent let me know everything they were doing and were extremely professional. It was a two day job but they wasted no time both days. I will always use them for any future electrical work.

Side note....the other company has a ridiculous number of reviews that are almost all perfect. Something stinks.

John and Connor were excellent. They were coverings over their shoes to not track in mud from the rain. They truly went above and beyond to help us. Our power was completely out. They took the time to go the their warehouse to find the parts that we needed and even came back within 30mins. When I called this company the receptionist was very sweet and said they would be at the house in 20mins. This company is truly above and beyond.

John came to install a power outlet. He assessed the situation, and proposed a much easier alternative. He got the job done in a fraction of the time discussed using high quality parts.

About a year ago, I used this company to service my home. The guy that came out was very professional and nice. Also the ladies that answered the phone were nice. This prompted me to call them again hoping to get this quality of service again. Well a guy named John came this time. I greeted him but no response. (I let that slide). So I showed him the dryer outlet, he just started taking off the plate and I said wait a minute you are supposed to give me an estimate first and he replied oh yeah. (That wasn't good at all). I wanted him to clean up the mess he made. No big deal. I cleaned it up. But the problem was he charged $182 just to replace the dryer outlet, since he took the plate off. I've allowed him to replace it. The price was just outrageous for a 5 minute job. That's about 3X more than what the average electrician would have charged. I pride myself on being nice to people and I expect the same in return. I was not only disappointed in the price but in the quality of service that he provided.

Their name says it all. I looked high and low for a superb plumbing company and found them! Now, I am thankful to know them since they have now completed top quality electrical services at my home. They installed sconces in my bedroom, lighted magnifying mirrors in my bathroom, and extra outlets under my bathroom cabinets! So professional and they keep everything so very clean. Love them!

I am so grateful to Nathan. An HVAC guy found a raw, burned wire running along my attic floor on a Friday afternoon. It took all kinds of searching trying to find an electrician on a weekend. Another electrician recommended Above and Beyond. I sent a PM through their Facebook site Saturday morning because they don't have a weekend emergency number. Nathan responded, and then drove all the way out to Millington on a Saturday because we were concerned the wire would start a fire. I was so grateful not to have to call the Fire Department. Nathan confirmed the wire was ancient, and no voltage was going through it, and was even nice enough to fix a lamp since he was out here anyway. He is solid gold. Great service. Highly recommend.

I am absolutely very very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism of Above and Beyond Electric. Their dispatcher Pam and Kim were very responsive in communicating your needs and scheduling appointments. I appreciate the fact that they call you beforehand to let you know that the electricians were arriving. Nathan gave us a quote on the job and was very honest in giving us advice on what needs to be done. Then we had Rob and Tom as our electrician and could not have asked for anyone else! They were extremely professional, punctual, hardworking, cleaned up after they were done and meticulously checked to make sure everything was working fine before they left - they even skipped lunch to make sure things were finished on time (this was a 7-8 hour job!). Rob was nothing short of AMAZING. He went the extra mile to fix up a GFCI outlet in the bathroom without us asking!! Companies who take pride in their work and value their customers are hard to come by these days. I highly highly recommend Above and Beyond for all your electrical needs. They have excellent electricians who provide high quality work and truly go above and beyond for their customers.

Recently, Robert and Zach came to my house to do a number of things for me. They were prompt, courteous, and very helpful about my needs. They got a technician there FAST, after I drilled into a set of wires killing power to 1/3 of my house. They fixed the damage, installed an additional outlet, and installed the TV mount I was attempting to do myself all in a couple of hours. Best call I've made to an Electrical service company. They are now my go to gang for all things electric.

Nathan H. came out on short notice and did an outstanding job installing a manual generator transfer switch. Nathan was exceptionally polite, knew what he was doing, and acted professionally. I will be keeping his card on hand should we ever need an electrician again. Highly recommend.

Excellent service from Robert and Zach. Very considerate and knowledgeable and prompt. I would definitely recommend them. However, I am always horrified by what I consider to be high prices - over $200 for 30 - 45 minutes of their time. I did some research and their prices seem to be in line with the average for our area. Maybe it's me.

Above and Beyond did just that. They answered my call quickly. They gave me a day and time quickly. They called twice to remind me of the appointment and let me know the technician was on the way.

Zack quickly resolved the problem and called me to give me the details. I like a job done once, and they delivered!

He provided timely and transparent communications about our home assessment, the costs, and the finalized work. Used both their electrical services and plumbing both were on time, friendly, and quick to fix the problem. Will use again.

They did the electrical for our pool and talked us into installing a moon light in the tree. We were initially happy with the work, but after the moon light stopped working (due to a possible blown transformer) I have not been able to get them to follow up with any advice or a plan to fix it. It was supposed to have a 5-year warranty. Even worse, the light that they installed in the tree fell out.

I have attempted to call and email Nathan several times regarding this issue but have not heard back from him. Pam has been very kind and understanding on the phone and has told me she would ask Nathan to get in touch with me, but alas, all I have gotten is radio silence.

We're now on Summer #2 of not enjoying our moon light that Nathan convinced me would be so beautiful and peaceful.

We have spent more than $1000 on this and have received little more than stress and frustration for our hard-earned dollars. Nathan seems like a nice guy, so here's hoping he will see this and make the decision to do the right thing and help us out.

We have found our new go to for electrical work for our properties. We'll be calling again soon.

We had been accumulating a long list of non-urgent electrical repairs/upgrades but had been stalling on contracting the work because our electrician had moved. We were certain we couldn't replace his high quality service. A bath reno required a fixture install so we bit the bullet and contacted Above and Beyond. Now we're kicking ourselves that we waited so long because Rob at Above and Beyond truly is a Light Magician! He installed a chandelier and can lights, moved outlets, got the unsightly wires from a mounted tv behind the tv so they aren't hanging down any more, moved the outlets around our garage doors so there weren't ugly hanging wires and fixed a burned up outside outlet on a lamp post....the list goes on and on, and he can do it ALL! Nice, thoughtful, and motivated by a desire to do things the right way to prevent any future problems is the way this company operates. If you need an electrician, call Above and Beyond!

Unfortunately, I am very displeased with this company. I recently called to have 2 motion detector lights added to the back of my home. I purchased the lights, wiring and all necessary equipment to have the fixtures added for less than $200.

I was told a quote could not be given on the phone. Rather, it would be $89 for someone to come to my house and discuss the project. When the electrician arrived, I was out of town and my wife was home. The electrician spoke in a very heavy, foreign accent my wife could barely understand. He wrote up the quote and said it would cost $626 to wire the lights, with all of our materials. So, connecting a two wires would cost more than 3 times as much as the lights and all equipment (including wiring).

The electrician called me to discuss the pricing because my wife wasn’t sure. I had a very difficult time understanding him on the phone. After 10 frustrating minutes, I “negotiated” a lower price… Not sure why or how that was possible… Then, once we agreed, the electrician called his boss, then raised the price once again.

Being already committed to $89 just to have the technician come to my house and being so frustrated and feeling very taken advantage of I agreed to have the job completed.

The invoice was hand written and incorrectly added. Once my wife corrected the basic math, my credit card was charged nearly $500 (2 ½ times the cost of materials). I got home and the lights weren’t even calibrated or setup properly. Something I had to do myself.

I know electricians are important, but I feel very taken advantage of and will not be using Above and Beyond Electric Company, Inc. ever again.

John came out and replaced my front door light and a blower motor in my master bath. He diagnosed the problems quickly and the job estimate was fair. His workmanship was outstanding and he wasted no time in getting the job done. After the job was completed, he even gave me a quick tutorial on the different types of modern light bulbs ! Wonderful experience, Above and Beyond is my preferred electric company.
