Conway Services serviced my air-conditioning unit (capacitor issue) today 6/4/2023. Noah Rodgers was my technician - a nice young man - professional, articulate, works every Sunday (glad he does), on time, and knowledgeable. I received texts informing me of the appointment, what to expect, when the technician would arrive, and a survey nearly immediately after Noah’s departure. I have always said that Conway Services is amongst the best in the Memphis market. I’ve used their services and products since 1999. And now they’re backed by ARS, a large company in the industry that’s among the top service providers. Some say They’re on the high side on price. I say, you get what you pay for in this service business, and that means you can’t get any better than Conway Services.

I am a long time Conway customer, so much that I joined their comfort club. Since they merged with ARS service has been on the decline. Most recently, I called to setup my AC check. It was originally set for May 12th. They contacted me two days after scheduling, to move my appointment a week out to May 19th. The week of the new appointment, I decided to turn on the AC and let it run. It came on blowing hot air. I received 5 calls to move the appointment from the 19th and each time I told the caller, my unit was blowing hot air. It was never placed in the notes of my ticket, of the issue reported. I asked two of the reps if my ticket could be changed to a maintenance call. I was told twice no. The last rep that called to move the appointment, actually listened to me and was able to change my ticket. I received a call the same day and they decided to send a tech out. He discovered that my compressor had locked up. Now I am being billed a couple of grand for labor, as my part is under warranty. I am done with Conway.

To be honest it didn’t start out the best way. On Friday my A/C was blowing hot air even while it was off. Called and they said they had technicians available and I asked if they could come after 2:30 because I had work meetings. They said no problem, 5:30 rolls around and not a word. I call and they said they would reach out and see what was happening. No call. I call back at 7:30 after hours picks up and said they were sorry for the inconvenience and they would reschedule for Saturday. At one point it was 85 degrees in my house, so I completely disconnected the a/c unit.Saturday rolls around it’s about 12pm haven’t heard anything, so I call and they said I’m on the schedule and they will call when they are on their way. 6:30 comes and I call back and they said that a technician tried to call me but there is no record of that on my call log so I said well that’s not true, I’ve been home all day and my phone hasn’t rang once. The dispatchers were all very nice and professional. They even notated in my file to waive the diagnostic fee, and scheduled me for Monday (Today 4/3/2023).Technician showed up around 8am I believe, very friendly and was apologetic about the miscommunication between Conway and I. The technician was Bryant Norfleet, he was professional and did a thorough job of figuring out what was wrong. Thankfully it was just the thermostat and showed us how to wire the new one correctly. Conway corrected the situation and I am very pleased. I will be using them again for A/C related needs. Thank you!

Attic insulation .. Our attic was insulated. The crew was very professional and cooperative. They came in and prepped the area and cleaned up afterwards.. I would definitely use them again. I can see a difference in the thermostat setting already. Thank you soooo much.

I called Conway Services on a last minute bathroom leak issue. My problem turned out to be relatively minor. The folks at Conway services handled my problem as though it was important to them. They worked me in on short notice and had someone to my house that same day. David showed up. Very clean and well marked service vehicle. David was very cleanly dressed and presented well. David fixed my problem in a timely manner. Very honest and straight forward and charged me the minimum. Total experience was outstanding. I will recommend them to my friends and family and I will definitely use them again. Great Job!!!

We needed our A/C inspected and tuned up since this is our first summer in our home. Darvin was assigned to our job. He was professional and willing to explain things to me so I could understand. He worked efficiently and told me the things that needed attention, in order of importance, allowing me to make informed decisions about our system. I am pleased with the service we received, and will use Conway again when it's time to have the heat looked at in the fall.

I am very disappointed in the administrative service provided by Conway. The technician was great and quickly fixed our AC, but everything else about our experience was awful. I called at about 8:30am because our AC had been out all night and at that time it was already 85 degrees in the house. Based on our address, they found the account of the previous owner. I gave the person my information and she updated it in the system (name, phone number, etc). About an hour later, dispatch called and told me the technician was on his way, gave me his name, and even told me he had been covid vaccinated. 2 hours went by and no one had shown up. We had been sitting in a hot house suffering and waiting on a technician we were told was on the way. I called back and the person I spoke to said the call was canceled because they called the previous owner's number and he told them he didn't live there and hadn't called for service. I don't know how this is possible since I talked with a team member who updated the contact information to mine which then allowed the dispatcher to call me and tell me the technician was on his way. So at that point, we had been waiting for 4 hours. The woman I spoke to this time said she would arrange for another technician and would call when he was on his way. I asked if we would receive a discount for the difficulty we had experienced thus far. In addition to my $50 off coupon, she said she would give me an additional $50 off the service call. We left the house to wait somewhere with air conditioning. At about 4pm, a technician finally came to our house and fixed the AC. So it took an unnecessary 8 hours for us to receive service due to the ineptitude of the staff that handled our original call. And to make matters worse, the technician could not find any record of an additional $50 discount, so we only received $50 off with our coupon. I am extremely frustrated by the whole experience and even though the technician was great and quickly fixed our AC, I would absolutely never recommend Conway services to anyone that needed their AC repaired.

I called Conway and asked if they could replace a bathroom sink. I explained I already bought the faucet and hoses from Lowes’s. The operator said why yes. You have to pay a $49.00 Service Call. She booked a plumber. He came over and said we would have to pay $657.00 in addition. My wife waited all day and still had to pay $49.00. What a RipOff! And we are members of the Conway Comfort Club. BUT FOR LONG!! If John Conway was aware of this devotedly practice. I am sure he would do something about it.

Came for a service call on furnace error. Before spending much time diagnosing the problem was told it was the board failing and that a number of other things was going wrong. Said the board was $1200+ alone for a part that was easily found online new for $100. Started a quote for a replacement HVAC at $14k+. Seemed absurd to me and when I told him to leave caught some attitude. Quotes around town and all came back in the $9k range for same or better systems. One of the companies asked who did the diagnostic to determine it wasn’t repairable. When I told them who he immediately called his tech to come to the house and the guy had it fixed in 10 minutes. I will never do business with you again.

I am changing my rating to 5 stars!! Lisa the quality assurance manager reached out to me after reading my review. She was very concerned and asked me what they could do to make my experience with them better. I explained to her that I did not understand their pricing.however I loved Landon. She took the time and really listened to my concern and explained their cost structure. She said she would discuss our conversation with her manager and call me back. She called back within an hour and was able to address my issue. I am very happy with the entire experience. I can truly say Conway cares about their customers! Thank you Landon and Lisa.Landon was very professional and polite. He was open to trying parts we previously purchased. Provided good advice. I would specifically ask for him again. I am very appreciative that I could get someone to take care of the problem immediately, however I still do not understand the pricing/cost of the repair. I reached out to Conway prior to Landon returning after lunch and I was not given much advice. They told me to ask Landon and to look at his tablet. He said he was able to take $85 off the price. It’s my understanding that techs are sent out into the field with tablets that have prices built into them and there’s not much room for negotiation. I feel I overpaid for the services which he had no control over.

Called Conway because they installed my system to tell them my compressor was bad. The lady in the phone told me I was under warranty until 2026 and scheduled a technician to come out. Jerry showed up and spent 3 hours trying to find anything else that was wrong despite being told that it was the compressor up front. Then he went to get me a quote.. came back $2690 for labor only... Said it would be $4600 without the parts warranty. I called to complain and was told I would get a call Monday.. no call. So I called and spoke to a right spiteful fella named Travis who informed me that Conway services would no longer be doing business with me because I had upset Jerry by telling him to get out of my house after his crazy quote. Travis wouldn't explain where they came up with those prices just that they are a premium company and have premium prices.. wouldn't give me a breakdown of the price at all. Steer clear of this scummy company unless you just like to pay 40-50% more than every other ac company..

They call to schedule maintenance per contract. They provide dates and times available. They don't show don't call. They call 12 hours after appointment time, ask to reschedule. Verify available date and time they have available., call day after stating they are overbooked. State this would be second day I would have to take day off work to utilize their schedule. Confirm appointment. Don't show don't call. Still no response.

I have to say Conway has really really let me down and disappointed me. Not being able to fix my system, a relatively young system Conway installed completed new (2016)not long ago is completely unacceptable. This is a system Conway has maintained twice a year since installing. The explanation given to us was we dont have the part we have to order it is completey unacceptable. A national company like conway/ARS should keep inventory in their local branches. If you cant service what you sell, you should not be in business. Now we have to wait out the hottest long holiday weekend of the year with no air conditioning. Unacceptable. Furthermore, you present yourselves as a local company and you're not. John Conway is a sham. You call what you think is a local number with local employees for service and you're routed to a mega call center. I literally spent 30 minutes on the phone demanding and pleading to speak to the person in charge of the local branch and I finally got him (Travis Bassinger) the average person would have given up long ago. To get to him I had to argue like a trial lawyer. He is a great person working for a horrible service failure of an organization. Its amazing the frustration you put your customers through. Not happy at all with you guys. Very very let down and disappointed by your organization. Shop local is the way to go from now on.

Conway services is a CON!Why would I pay more for a simple drain issue. They apparently try to bait you in with the “drain cleaning $73” coupon but then arrive and said it’s $89 service fee and then more for the actual darn service. Nope I should have known I’d be wasting my time. I went to Lowe’s and bought a 50ft auger and cleaned my own dream line. Cost me $49 for the auger at Home Depot definitely the better and should have been the first choice I made.

I’ve made appointments after appointments with them and they always get canceled or “unscheduled”. Had appointment for 11/4/2022. Expected it would be earlier than 4 pm. Grateful that Steve showed up.He evaluated our needs, gave us estimates with clear explanations about potential problems.Kitchen faucet replacement and shower diverter repair went quickly. Steve called for back up early on pedastal sink repair but as it was late on Friday it took a while for assistance to arrive. It was a tricky repair with 40+ year old pedastal sink but completed by 7 pm. $ 1,400.00 for three hours work. Plumbing is expensive. Good plumbers are like gold. Very pleased with repairs.

Great service from Conway, I highly recommend! Donnie, my HVAC technician, was prompt, on time, professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. My AC condenser unit was not working, and he got right to work on it, first thing the next morning after I called the night before. Conway Services was great to work with. I had several hurdles that had to be worked through to get my generator installed. Due to there one stop shop, they were able to deal with the 5 A/C units, 3 electrical panels, and 2 transfer switches all inhouse. I would recommend them to all my family and friends.

I really don’t do not know what I should rate Conway Services. The maintenance technician that do come and service my grandmother’s unit are always friendly! However, if you have to contact Conway Services in the middle of the night request some help because the A/C has went out AGAIN and no technician is available, it’s poor service INO! My grandmother is 87 years old and pays monthly for the Comfort Keepers. Her unit is pretty new but every few months something goes on with it. I am not complaining just to be because this the second time within a year, she has had an issue. One time during the Winter she had just got home from her hospital stay due to her having COVID and her heat went out. Thank goodness I go by and check on her all the time. My grandmother won’t really know she is hot because of medical condition, if it makes sense but she could tell their was no air moving in that house last night at 91 degrees and it was night.. i call they say someone can be here at 8am no one showed and they finally call at 10am. I had to pay out of pocket for a family friend to go out and look at the unit and he fixed it. I also have to tell Conway she is a Comfort Member each time because they try and charge her full price when she pays monthly…. I’m just basically saying Comfort Keeper seems to be FALSE advertisement whoever told us those perk of having that membership, has lied and makes the company look bad… I will probably cancel it because it seems to do no good… maybe corporate can explain and thanks in advance…

My wife and I are first time homebuyers and are navigating the ins-and-outs of what I takes to completely maintain the systems running our home. The downstairs portion of my home was very warm and I was perplexed as to why this was since I change my filters regularly. I decided to get an A/C tune up and diagnostic from Conway Heating and Cooling. The tech that was dispatched to my home (Brayden Stapleton) was VERY knowledgeable and professional. I appreciated the time he took to answer all of my questions no matter how trivial they were. After literally 3 minutes, he identified that I had a bad capacitor which didn’t allow the compressor to function. The tune-up he performed was awesome and got my family and I back in a cool home in these blazing Tennessee temperatures! I’d recommend him specifically for my future repairs if needed. Thank you!

Contacted Conway for a back up generator and installation. Michael came out and gave me a quote and explained the process of having one installed. After meeting with him and going over everything we signed up to have a generator installed. The day of the install Kevin and Jon came out and we went back over everything before they got started. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Had our generator ready to go by the afternoon, just in time for a power outage! Great service all around. Very pleased! Thanks guys!

After purchasing my house, I needed an outlet changed in my kitchen, so I can use my oven. I booked the appointment in late November for December 8. The day before I get a call that they needed to reschedule due to another project. That’s fine because I understand things come up. It’s rescheduled for December 29.. another 2 weeks out. Come day of, no one showed. No call either until that evening they they needed to reschedule me again. A month wasted waiting. I am highly disappointed with this company considering the high reviews.

I made the appointment because they claimed that it would be 83.00 or it would be free. The work was done in an hour or less and they charged 373.00 dollars. They knew very well about their advertising but they were said they do not honor it. I hate false advertising. Yes the man said something about using his camera and 75 ft of something or other. But at the end of the day he didn't do anything but just break up a clog with the machine he already had it should not have cost that much. He should have informed me on the front end that he was not going to do the service for the price of $83 as he was fully aware of what he was there to do.

No confirmation received regarding appointment. I called one hour 35 minutes following appointment beginning time to confirm. Received a message soon after that they were on the way. Did not show up. A couple hours later received a text they would be here in 30-45 minutes. Were not here as promised. When they arrived only had HVAC person. I had requested an electrical and plumbing check also. The person who arrived said he couldn’t do that. Called office and was informed the local Cordova TN office is temporarily closed. I am very disappointed to hear that. I want to deal with local people. I did not feel they knew I was a Pro member until I told them I pay $18 per month for pro special service. I’m not sure what’s going on in the business , but I am concerned about communication with this business. The office called to schedule the plumber to come the next day. Apologized for the communication problems. I plan to determine if paying the extra $18/month is worth it considering the changes and confusion I experienced today.

Horrible Service. Rescheduled me 3 times. Had online that they clean window A/C units, when I called to schedule they said they did window units. When someone came out here to do it, he claimed they don’t do window units. All the man could tell me is go get another A/C from walmart and throw out my old ones. After some frustration and confusion on the scheduling, a Quality Manger (Lisa) from Conway contacted me. She was very courteous and understanding. Most importantly, they made the situation right and corrected the problem.The technician who responded was Kenny. He was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He worked on my unit until the job was done at 2100 hours.I am now a Conway Pros Club Member. Great customer service “save” by the office staff and nice “close” by Kenny.

On Tuesday we woke up to water pouring out of our ceiling because our hot water heater had burst overnight. We called Conway services and they had a representative out that same morning.Conway representative Mr. Joe Moody came out looked at the problem and went over options with us. He was VERY professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.After making our selection, a very professional installation crew showed up early the following morning and made the installation.However the next day I smelled a gas smell in the attic. I called the regular service number, after 5pm, and was treated very pleasantly by the young lady who answered and explained my problem to her.Within 30 minutes, Mr. Joe Moody was at our home and resolved the issue. Again Mr. Moody was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.Conway is lucky to have guys like Mr. Moody working for them. I would use their services again based solely on my experience with Joe.

It took 5 people close to 10 hours to do this job. There was no follow up to inspect the completed job. There was an additional vent that was not installed. The paperwork says I get a Wi-Fi compatible thermostat. They installed a standard model. I asked and was told that the Wi-Fi model did not apply to me. Only one tech acted in a professional manner going so far as to apologize for the long install. A couple of the others only complained about fellow employees and poor management. The lack of training was obvious from the salesman down to the techs. If you use this company be sure you get EVERYTHING in writing. The AC works fine but the customer service was all but absent.

Technician Alan did great job installing my toilet. However I am less than satisfied with Conway’s overall service. I have used Conway for years and have had a good experience except this time. Conway was supposed to come out and replace toilet Monday April 24th. Appointment was rescheduled without my authorization. Appointment was rescheduled for Saturday April 29th. Technician was supposed to have toilet on the truck ready to replace. Technician didn’t have a toilet. For some reason was under the impression I was providing the toilet which isn’t my responsibility. Finally got toilet replaced Monday May 1. Again the technician Alan did a great job and he was very friendly and professional. Conway needs to improve how they handle their scheduling and make sure everyone is on the same page. As a result of Conway’s failures I had a non working toilet for a week that should have been replaced much sooner. Very disappointing with Conway’s handling of this

We had a backed up drain in our kitchen. The plumber came out and tried to snake it 5 times before saying he needed a jetter machine but that the jetter matchine is currently broken with no repair date. He suggested that we call another company to come out and that for the time being, we could still run our dishwasher and use the sink but that it would eventually back up again. I turned on the dishwasher immediately after he left, and an hour later, our sink was almost overflowing (as evidenced in the photo). I called and left a message for the plumbing manager on two different days to ask about the jetter machine. Here we are, seven days later, and still no communication from a plumbing manager.

I think the value was good and the technician was very professional and asked if I had any questions throughout the process. My issue is not with the technicians. My review would have been great if they were able to keep my original appointment. Over booking is not good customer service. No one called me. I had to call them to find out they were running behind. No one showed up during my time slot or after . I wasted 6 hours of my day Sunday waiting without so much of call. So I cancelled and was hesitant to rebook but I did anyway for the next day and that service worked as planned. Technicians are good but their scheduling needs work or communication.

Josh was the first person that I came in contact with in my journey to find new heat and air system. He was on time very very personable and professional. He laid everything out for he recommended system gave me three options . He was very knowledgeable . He was so helpful together we decided what i needed based on my home not what was most expensive. Conway offered things that I would have not thought of like some one to come and remove door and trim to the closet for the unit. My AC kept freezing up which had a lot to do with the fact the the temp was 95 degrees on average for about a month. I called Conway to come check it out. They came quick, and the guy was nice. I'll give them that, but those are the only nice things I have to say. The guy found about 12 things wrong with my AC system, and gave me a long list of things that needed to be replaced totaling from about $3,500-$6,000 depending on how much I wanted to replace. But he said he strongly recommends I get the entire system replaced, which would be anywhere from $10,000 to $14,000. Anytime I asked details about fixing parts without replacing the whole system, he was very vague and gave me long answers but never really answered my questions. Since I didn't feel like wiping out my life savings in my early 20s, I decided to get a second opinion. I called a small local company to come check it out. They were here for about 1 hour, replaced a capacitor and the thermostat, and fixed the problem for about $400. My AC has never worked better. Conway will not get another call from me.

Beware.....Not the same service I had experienced in the past. If you like to be OVER CHARGED call Conway if not call another company. I had a water heater replaced, nothing special just a 50 gallon tank heater and it was over $3000 dollars. I had previous experience with this company and it has always been reasonably priced with great service. Including a similar service 9 years earlier. This time I was basically charged $2000 dollars to install a water heater that cost $1000. There was a miscommunication on the cost and after the install it was too late. I called the company to discuss the pricing hoping to receive some adjustment but was met with nothing but excuses and got nowhere. They had a quality assurance program prior to the service so they were able to use this to double down on the all excuses. I will make sure and steer everyone I know away from using their services in the future and I suggest you skip them when needing services.

Malcolm was our service technician for today. Very knowledgeable and professional. Accomplished the work / maintenance we required. Informed us of a hot water heater issue that needs to be addressed. Diligently set us an appointment for the hot water heater to office. Will ask for Malcolm in the future for our heating maintenance. I was charged $475 to repair a loose toilet and replace the wax
seal. I needed it fixed so I went ahead and reluctantly had the work done. I have no complaints with the tech they sent out but I will never be able to justify the price. They got me once. I will never go back again.

Run away!!! FIND ANOTHER COMPANY unless you’d prefer water to pour out your ceiling 1 hour after a “repair” was done then the person no show twice after they were contacted to come out. Forget trying to get in touch with a supervisor to figure out what the heck happened during the “repair” because no one is ever “at their desk” so they have to “send them an email”. Scheduled service on Saturday July 8th with an appointment between 8am and noon on Monday July 10th. No one showed up during the schedule time and no phone call until 9pm informing me that they will be at my home in 45 minutes. No I would not allow them to call into my home at that time. They did not reschedule my appointment. I called July 11th for another appointment and I was told between 9-1pm. I will not hold my breath on this one. They have their call center in Houston TX and you can not get any one from the Memphis area to call you back. No AC since Friday night. What is troubling is that I paid over $300 to be a premier member. They take your money real fast but no service.

This was a perfect experience; we highly recommend Conway!A week ago we woke up to no hot water; our 11 year old hot water heater had stopped working. I'm so glad we called Conway!Scott came out within two hours and the very next day hot water was back, via a great new tankless water heater.Scott along with every member of the team doing the work was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I called about getting my AC looked at for repairs/replacement. The first young man to come out was pleasant, checked out my system ad gave me an estimate of the cost of the repairs needed. The second guy who was arriving to give me the price for replacement of my AC system was rude, quick and condescending. I communicated that I was only needing the quote and not planning to move forward with financing/payment at the time and would be giving them a call in a couple of days. It seemed as though hearing that information really upset the young man and he began asking intrusive questions as to why I was not going through with the financing price- inappropriate and unprofessional. I repeatedly told the young man that I would be calling them with my decision after I spoke with my partner about everything and he continued to question and want to discuss WHY? I will not be calling back for that reason. Maybe the guys are paid on commission or something because he was behaving as of he was going to lose money or something if I didnt purchase that same day.

Part of the membership includes preventative maintenance; with the increased heat I've noticed my AC struggling, so I set up an appointment.I called 6/14/2022 to schedule said maintenance and received a date of 6/29/2022. The scheduled appointment came and went and no tech arrived. Conway's dispatcher called around 5pm and attempted to reschedule for 7/19/2022.When I indicated the delay was unacceptable, It was rescheduled for 7/2/2022 (a Saturday). Once again, no tech arrived, and when I received a call I was told they could still come out, but there would be an addition $99 fee for the service call, or they would reschedule me for 7/21/22.When I asked to speak with a manager, or someone with control over billing, I was told there was no one else in the building, but I was welcome to send an e-mail.I'm also welcome to take my business elsewhere, which is what I'll be doing.tl;dr: Conway services may perform adequate work, but they are unreliable, unorganized, and eager to slip additional fees into any project.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------EDIT:Conway made contact near immediately the first business day after I posted my review. Conway services pay huge amounts of overhead and pass their expenses on to you! We were quoted $18,000 for a new 3-ton HVAC! And whatever their Comfort Agent said about staffing and materials shortages, this is the last straw. And how much to repair the unit? $1,200 for a cleaning and capacitor repair alone! (not incl. the call-out fee, taxes, etc). Insane! That is extortionate and you are better than paying their ridiculous prices. There are so many other HVAC experts in Memphis that are far better than what you get with Conway who don't prey on vulnerable people. Don't fall for their slick marketing they are NOT worth it and you will never get your money's worth with them.

When my heater broke down I called them and they sent someone to look at it same day and they recommended to replace the entire HVAC unit since it was old. They gave me an estimate with a final price and I agreed to replace it and they sent a team the following day and they finished the work.They are definitely more expensive than the competition but at least they were quick and here is the other problem:They cannot get anyone to send me a detailed receipt of my purchase. The team leader who came and installed the unit told me the lady in the office will send me a detailed receipt along with warranty paperwork in an email. I didn't receive anything, I called and emailed multiple people.I do not think it's too much to ask for a detailed receipt explaining what I paid for. I am sure a large business like this keeps detailed billing and should be able to produce a detailed receipt for me explaining how much each part costs, labor cost, taxes and other fees. They just keep sending me the same invoice with the same final price with no details.

I requested plumbing service to come look at a potential clog in my bathtub drain. After several attempts they were unable to fix the issue and advised that i could have a potential crack in my pipe. They suggested getting a general contractor. They charged me $273 to not fix the issue. They left a mess in my tub which is unacceptable that i had to cleanup. I will definitely not recommend them to anyone. I wish the owner could see what they left me with. Terrible service.

In January this year I had plumbing problems where water backed up into the bathroom. I had some plumbers come out and was not satisfied with their work, I then called Conway who came out the next day. The technician was very professional but had to called the field rep out to scope the line. They found that the roots from the trees had collapsed my line and it had to be replaced. Mr Hayes (the field rep) discussed financing the repairs and I decided to take the plan to get the repairs done. The agreement stated no landscaping done after the project was finished but he said after 3 months of allowing the ground to settle Conway would come out an fill any trenches made from the digging. The sub contractor came out right away and replaced the sewer an water line and I was pleased. 3 months later I called the office to request the fill in and was told I'd be put on schedule with the contractor to be serviced, after multiple calls I'm still getting the same freaking lie. I asked how hard is it to bring a load of dirt to fill a trench that was caused by your work. The contractor is an extension of your business and you are responsible for getting that done. I spent 5k on the project and can't get $100 load of dirt to satisfy a customer... that's unacceptable. Needed my AC serviced but didn't dare call Conway...first time customer and last time customer.

I set an appointment for my annual furnace check. The technician showed up thinking my heat had gone out, which it hadn't. Then he shows me a red tag and said the last company who did my check left this tag and that it meant I had a crack in my furnace and carbon monoxide was leaking into my house. When I inspected this red tag, it was a simple warning tag about precautions of hooking up propane to your furnace. (this was not left by the last company). He did not clean anything, but checked my clean filter I put in last month and then proceeded to have me sign the paperwork that said he discussed 3 issues with me (which he had not) that would cost 5k in repairs. My furnace has never given me any issues and I've been told it's in very good condition. I get annual checks to keep it maintained and now all of a sudden there's multiple high cost issues. I called him out when I read he discussed the other so called issues with me (He had not but claimed to on his paperwork). It litterally took him longer to fill that out than it did to service my unit. Nothing about this appointment instilled confidence or trust that I wasnt getting upsold on things I didn't need. I dont even feel I received a proper annual maintenence service.

I've used Conway in the past. Actually bought the HVAC system 5 years ago we currently have in our house. But I will never use them again. Set up an appointment with them with a 4 hour window (12-4) They never called. So I called them at 4 inquiring whether they were behind or if our lines got crossed. The person answering said that they would escalate this to dispatch and I could expect a call in 5-15 minutes. They never called.At 5 I called back. This time the person who answered told me that the techs were probably backed up but if I wanted, I could either reschedule for Thursday (it's Tuesday) OR wait. I told her that I was going to wait. She assured me that I would get a call back with more information in.....5-15 minutes....I got that call at 5:30. They told me that they couldn't get to my house that day but they could reschedule for tomorrow or the next day. Now, why would I reschedule a 4 hour window with a company that didn't honor the 4 hour window in the past? Why would I give my money to a company that has that little respect for my time that they couldn't bother calling within that time frame to reschedule or even before?As the saying goes, if you fool me once, shame on me....but fool me twice... Update: 6/30/2022Ricky Williams was wonderful. He was very professional and was able to fix my broken AC unit. It was under warranty so i didn't have to pay anything. The unit was down from Friday, the 25th until today. Thank you for getting it working again.Joe was able to get two shower and tub kits done in half a day. My new fixtures look amazing and they don't leak anymore. Great service from all the people at Conway!Update: 5/20/2019 Resolved. Issue was fixed.I bought a tankless water heater and have had problems with it non-stop. I have had to get in my attic to reset the error codes 6 times and I have only had the system for 2 months. The technicians can’t tell me what is causing the problem and the last time I got a visit I was not called and the tech showed up at my house at 8PM. They recommended replacing the unit but I never got a call back to set up an appointment. I am currently waiting for Conway to tell me how they plan to fix this issue. I will update.

I still have a warrant on this motor from conway.This is the third time the motor has stop functioning. I've requested a new motor. We're still paying for this motor.I.pray i get a new sufficient motor.General Manager called me on 05-01-2023 , stating he was sorry about my issues I've been having with the fan motor which was suppose to be brand new, from 06-2022, fan motor is still under warranty until 06-2023 right? Conway is still not honoring the warranty we have.I was told on 05-03-2023 by a general manager, we would get a new fan motor and a new warranty would come with the new fan motor. The tech stated he didn't know anything about a new fan motor or a new warranty. Wow! 06-02-2023 Conway Services still hasn't picked up their goods nor have they honored our request for a call back, nor a response to our certified letter that was signed by a employee at Conway. Conway please come and get your goods, and refund our finances.

I had an appointment scheduled for plumbing services on Friday after 2. I spoke to a person with Conway at 2:12 & confirmed that I was home waiting for them. The man said a technician would arrive within 45 minutes. After waiting two hours, I called back, and the person said they called at 2:28 and I never responded that I was home. That is a lie. No one ever called at 2:28, and I had already confirmed I was home waiting at 2:12. The person told me someone would call me back shortly to get a tech to my home. No one ever called back. It is now 3 days later, and still no one has phoned. When I called again today, they show no appointment in their system. If you are expecting good service and honesty, look elsewhere. They lie, do not show up, and then do not communicate. I have used Conway for years, but I never will again. They are dishonest and decent service has fallen by the wayside.

While Conway is certainly not the cheapest company in the area, at one time believed the premium prices were worth the services provided. I have spent a considerable amount of money, probably more than I should have, with this company over the years. I was even foolish enough to spend money on their service plan. While most of the services Conway provided in the past were performed well, although with an inflated price tag, the latest attempt to get Conway out to our home has been a disaster. After three no call/no shows, I'm beyond frustrated with the lack of response and care this company has shown. The lip service provided by the customer service team is nothing more than that, just empty promises falling on deaf ears at this point.EDIT:I contacted this “Quality Assurance” manager as instructed by the company’s review. No response was ever received from this individual. One can only assume that this person is so overwhelmed by the amount of customers logging complaints like I am, that she doesn’t even have the time to respond to all of them…or they don’t care enough to. I did however make a fourth appointment with their “Customer Service” department. I was less than surprised when for a fourth time, they no called/no showed me yet again. Save your time/money and find another reputable HVAC company. There are plenty of them who will do better work for less money.

Plumber came in to fix my kitchen faucet on Friday 4/21/23 and he said he has unstopped the faucet and is working well. The following day my son tried to used the sink it was draining slowly. I stopped him from using it and I called Conway back. They told me they are sending someone out. The plumber came and sawed that it wasn’t draining properly and told me he will fix it but I have to pay again for the same service I already paid. I told him am not going to pay for the service twice that he needs to contact his office. He walked out and drove away. I called Conway back again and this time they said their office will contact me about it but until now nobody has contacted me about the issue. My sinks is still not fixed and they still haven’t refunded me. The customer service is very poor.

Last two times we've had their techs out, Conway has been everything you'd hope for. Polite, honest, and knowledgeable about their craft, Allen made sure to explain everything involved including the possibility of what might fail during the repair. Some people just want the tech in and out, minimal chat, and a leak-free shower but you get so much more with these guys and gals. I love that Allen was personable and willing to share a laugh or two while he got business taken care of which made the process of spending money you don't want to all that much more bearable.

Appointment was scheduled for between 8 and noon. I called Conway about 10:45 as we had not yet heard form the electrician. Answering service promised to call back in 10 minutes or less.Never returned the call.At 1:00 called again. Same promise. Again no call back.Electrician called at 3:10 to say on his way. Remember the appointment was scheduled for between 8 and noon. Arrived after 3:30Upon arrival they quoted light switch replacement would be at $116.00 per switch. We had several to replace.Plus didn't have any switches on his truck. Wanted to reschedule.The appointment was made for light switch replacement over a week prior.The 2 gentlemen were polite, but horrible service. Waisted our whole day.Service declined because of price, failure to answer our calls, and late hour of arrival.

My problem was already diagnosed and the technician did not have part on truck! I waited all day on Memorial Day weekend and then problem not resolved. THEN, I was charged!!!!! I am done. We were very impressed with everyone we encountered at Conway! They were all friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable including Marvin Hayes who gave us the estimate and Brandon Jeffries and JR Shaw who worked so hard in our attic on the hottest day of the Summer! Marvin explained that Bartlett city required the hot water heater to be strapped in the attic in case of an earthquake and Brandon and JR did an excellent job!

Zachary was professional and good at his job. It has been 6 hours later and there is no leak from my toilet so it was a success. However, the cost was double what Lowes charged me and $200 more than Choates charged me ( one company didn’t show up and the other didn’t give an appointment respectfully). I am glad Conway showed up and got the job done but sad I paid a ridiculously amount ( which brings sadness).

I really do not care for Conway. I feel they are overpriced for the work that they do.I recently had a service from them.They stood us up twice. They had a 2-hour window never showed up, never called to say they would not make it and I wasted four hours of my life.When they did reach out, it was only to inform the worker was on the way 8 hours later and after hours. The same thing was repeated the second time. It gets dark at 5:00 and they expected me to meet somebody at 5:30 p.m..I thought this was very poor customer service and ridiculous. I was very very upset because I live an hour away; And for them to waste my time that was not cool.No, I would not recommend Conway!There are definitely better HVAC services & better prices from better companies.Do your research and pick another company.

No service was perform. Call and explain that I had a water leak as told by the Utility Co. but there were no visible sign of a water leak. So I would need like a specialist who could detect this. Communications somehow got lost and they sent some who didn't have equipment to do the job that was outlined.

On Saturday, we had an appointment for Conway to come out and provide an estimate to install additional ductwork. No one ever showed up. After calling several times for an update, we were continually told that they were running behindand someone would be in contact. However, we never received any calls with updates and by the end of the day, no one had called or shown up.Today, we have an appointment for general maintenance on our Generac. We are having the same issue with no one calling to let us know when someone will arrive even though we are at the end of our appointment window. When we call, all we get is the answering service.At this point, I would absolutely not recommend this company due to lack of responsiveness.

The best company around !!!! I left a message on their website last night at 10.00pm, I had a stopped up washing machine drain. They called me at 8:00am before I could call them…. They followed through with updates on the arrival of the service guy…Steve was awesome he went right to work, my drain required several attempts to unplug but he kept going at it instead of going up to the next level and charging me more money!!! I have used this company for installation of a HVAC system and hot water tank… they again were on top of the job!!!! I know sometimes delays are unavoidable, but does Conway not have other techs to cover when the scheduled tech is that far behind in order to keep customers from missing more work and having to rearrange other appointments? Perfect name for a terrible company CONway. I will never use them again. I requested service on a mini split repair that was scheduled for the morning. I called several times throughout the day and only one guy showed up after 6 pm at night. WHAT? You can't be serious. The guy that showed up never gave me an estimate on what it would cost. He just says it's going to cost, really. I spent almost $6000 on an HVAC unit from them a couple of years ago and the new unit is worse than my old one. I won't get into the frustration and ridiculous conversation I had with them. They make no apologies, but are full of excuses. How are they even in business? Just know I would never recommend them and I will not use this company ever again. They are HORRIBLE!

The technician came out on Sunday June 4, 2023. Needed dye test done but all the guy did was just walk away and stated “I’ll see what I can do” he lied and said he put Freon in but didn’t because he didn’t have any Freon to finish the job so we was charged $615.00 and still no air nor answers! So I called the next day they said someone was coming and they never showed! So we had to call “Mister Green Way” to come fix what Conway was supposed to have did but never did. That’s $615.00 down the drain. I can guarantee you this everyone I know will know about the “nightmare” we had with “ScamWay” Matter of fact let me call WREG Investigator…. I bet Stacey Jacobs would love to do the story about this company!

I called to make an appointment but the day of, never received confirmation of any appointment time-I had to call to ask. Hours later the dispatcher called and stated the Tech would be on-site between 4&5 pm. I waited till 7:30 pm and called to inquire where the tech was. 15 minutes later the tech called and said he’d be there in an hour. Upon arrival. I was asked Where’s your thermostat at? No greeting, no apology for being late. The tech diagnosed a bad control board then quoted a $750 repair. My unit has a 10 year warranty. It wasn’t until later that the tech stated that the repair should be free. It seems to me if I have an account the tech should have all of that information beforehand. Overall disappointed that the dispatcher should have called and notified me that the tech was delayed-understandable because some jobs take longer than expected. Not to mention there was a failure to confirm the appointment day of. Conway needs to do a better job of setting expectations with its customers

We had Elgre paine to come out. He talked me threw every step and informed me on additional steps to take so i can maintain the longevity of my unit. The part that was loose, he changed and didnt try to over do the job. Some techs either do too much or not enough and with him, it wasn't the case. He did inform me about the maintenance plans they have available and respected my floors by wearing shoe booties. I did enjoy his service. I would recommend him for a job well done. He was so polite and stated around a couple of minutes to make sure his work was completed. Didnt take long and was on time.

My a/c unit wasn't cooling properly so we had Conway come out and inspect my A/C Tech came out and inspected my a/c told me the Capacitor and coils needed to be replaced and unit cleaned but said if he repaired it and if it needed Freon he wouldn't be able to add any because the type I needed was discontinued and that my current unit was to small for my house which has been working fine for the last 20 years or so, and therefore I needed to replace the whole unit and go with a larger one and told me it would cost around $11,000.00 and how did I want to pay credit card ,debit, or fiancé it 36 months no interest. and could do it asap. Needless to say I was blown away and decided to get a second opinion. The second company I called company came out inspected, cleaned & replaced the Capacitor and added some FREON ' for around $700 and it is cooling my house just fine. So long story short Conway was just trying to sell me a new unit instead of repairing the one I already have . NOT TRUST WORTHY STAY AWAY .

We don’t like to post negative reviews, but were troubled by the visit. We had a compressor of our own that we wanted to test to see if it worked. The tech said it would cost $3,500We have had compressors purchased and replaced for half of that price. We were insulted. We won’t be using them.

I would absolutely recommend Conway Services. We had a complete replacement of the main downstairs HVAC system to include a 16 SEER compressor. Conway Services was on time and initially came out on a Saturday afternoon. Tech and sales people were reasonable when discussing repair of the 18 year old existing system or replacement with a new system. The install was done the following business day. All flooring was covered with paper or tarps. The install team wore Conway polo shirts. Unfortunately a couple day after the install the system started leaking water onto the ceiling below the attic. The air handler was not properly leveled, or possibly settled somewhat, resulting in water pooling underneath the unit from the A-coil condensate drain and ultimately spilling out spotting the ceiling below. I’m a mechanical engineer by trade and sometimes these things just happen. Conway Services immediately sent out a field services manager to level the unit and address the leaking. Then they sent out their contractor who was at the house nearly all day to repaint the ceiling. The ceiling looks better than new. I was charged nothing for these repairs. I know things do not always go perfect. What I want to know is that in those cases the company takes care of the situation without undue burden to the customer. Conway Services was nothing but gracious about my issues with the installation and the damage to the ceiling below. They were very responsive with daily follow ups from the office staff to track the progress. Conway Services stands by their workmanship and was quick to address any issues. That seems like a reasonable way to do business to me.

The plumber from Conway whose name I choose not to use, came to fine a leak I have coming from my upstairs shower. He told me it would be $300 from the beginning and that $300 would go towards the labor to fix the leak. After 30 minutes of me running the shower and a 12X12 hole he cut into my ceiling he tell me I need a contractor to cut more of my ceiling because he can't tell where the leak is. He proceeds to tell me that will be $300. I asked what am I'm paying for, I'm in worse shape I was in before you came put a hole in the ceiling. Then you can't tell me anything about the leaking problem. I am now waiting to hear back from Conway. I knew I would pay more for using Conway services but I at least thought I would be 100% satisfied. But instead I'm I worse shape then before. I really hope they get it right when I receive their call .

I contacted Conway when my furnace had issues. They came out, sold me on a service plan, and tried to get me to finance almost $14,000.00 to replace the furnace and ducts. I called another company for a second opinion. The second opinion found a part that could be replaced for $450. After telling Conway about this and asking for a way out of the service contract, their office still hasn’t contacted me back after almost two weeks. Would not recommend at all.

The only other employee we met was Joe & We were very impressed with him. He was the whole package; product knowledge, people skills, confidence and a great closer! A technician first came out to check a unit we purchased 8 years ago. He informed us about any problems/concerns and made the necessary adjustments. Another technician came the next day. Or two to estimate the cost and payment plans offered by Conway for the replacement of another smaller unit we use for upstairs. Finally, two technicians came and replaced the smaller upstairs unit so far we are very pleased and hope to continue being pleased for the next 15 years. Rico did excellent job diagnosing & repairing water heater. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable. However, parts took almost a week & a half to arrive, and we were without hot water. Turns out, parts were in the warehouse but warehouse people couldn’t find them (or so they say). Rico’s manager finally drove to the warehouse and found them after I kept pushing. The communication from Conway was poor, but the work by repair tech was excellent.

Our A/C unit was installed by Conway 2 1/2 years ago & yesterday it started blowing hot air. I know it's not that hot right now (100 degrees) yet but it was getting pretty hot inside. I called & they got us an appointment for today. A part on the A/C was out, under warranty & they replaced it & everything is running great now. The actual electrician who came to work on my AC was great so this is not about him. However I had an absolutely terrible time scheduling an appointment to get my AC fixed. No one ever showed up for my original, scheduled appointment and no one ever contacted me to tell me the appointment was cancelled. I had to make multiple calls and waited at home for five hours before being told no one would come despite my appointment, and the next available appointment wasn't for another 11 days. My AC wasn't working in Memphis where it is extremely hot so I was very angry and asked that someone call me back the next day to work with me to schedule an earlier appointment. No one ever called me back. Then, 11 days later, despite calling twice to confirm I had an appointment, the exact same thing happened: the electrician simply never came and no one in the dispatchers office could tell me why. Finally after multiple complaints I was able to speak with a local Memphis dispatcher who got me a next-day appointment that finally happened. The local dispatcher was excellent and so was the electrician who came. But at this point I had not slept at home in 3 weeks because of my broken AC, despite visits from two Conway AC techs and appointments with 3 electricians, 2 of whom never showed up. The dispatch system is absolutely terrible and unacceptable and I'm frankly angry that I had to pay $999 for this awful service.

The Conway Crew that installed the a/c unit at 6634 Baudette Cove, Bartlett, TN 38135 on 8/16/2022 was an awesome group to deal with. They were courteous, polite, and kept me informed of what the process was going to be. They worked very hard and cleaned everything up when they finished. I have a two year old granddaughter that was in awe of the floor covering they put down and they treated her with nothing but kindness. Technicians arrived promptly on time and prepared to work. They essentially worked nonstop for 7 hrs to complete the installation of a new furnace. They’re thoroughly prepared our home with floor protection and shoe protection. At the end of work they cleaned up all packing materials and installation debris completely. Before leaving Kevin explained everything they’re had done including how to change the new filter system. I am very please with their performance.

We purchase a tankless water heater on 6-4-2021... they told me I had warranty on the parts but at the same time they tried to charge me over 900 dollars for a part that that I got myself for 150 dollars.... Matt came to perform preventative maintenance on our AC system before summer. He checked and cleaned both the unit outside and the unit upstairs. While in the attic, Matt noticed that the tankless water heater had water in the pan. He notified me immediately and recommended someone come check it out. Conway had a plumber come within an hour and corrected the issue with the hot water heater before it became a big problem. Matt could've just stuck to his job but he saw something and let us know. Conway is a company that I highly recommend. They gave me a good price on a complete new system and came out the day after I talked with the sales professional Jacob. He gave me several choices and didn't pressure me to purchase things I didn't need which I appreciated. Two really nice guys showed up to remove everything inside and out before I knew it... I got a much needed complete new HVAC system. Made by Carrier and both Tim & Prince, the installers, were just great! They arrived on time & got right to it on a long days work. Tim explained everything he was doing too as the day went on. Really made me feel that he respected my property & me. Prince, literally was one, he was so helpful to me while in my attic, I don't want to say just exactly how he went way above what a home owner could ever expect from an install but let me tell you, he DID & my new duct work is spectacular! These guys were so kind and I enjoyed their presence like we were all old friends. I had a huge mess in a room where they had to install a new out take vent and I didn't feel that either one of them judged me for this over packed room. They just moved the furniture and took care of my home while they worked the day away! Tim and Prince both worked hard all day doing an excellent job in removing my very old system and by installing my new Carrier. I'm chilling in my bed writing this review happy to be cold tonight and because they insisted we check the heating before they cleaned up, I'm positive that I will be warm next Winter 😉 they left my home super clean too, nothing left behind. I will never use this company again. EVER. And suggest you don’t either.I scheduled Conway to come out and do a tune up on our AC. The guy who came out, Pierre, was phenomenal and very professional. He did a great job.That following week I called Conway because our unit froze up everyday after he left. The rep I spoke to got me on the schedule same day from 10-2. 1 o’clock came and I did not receive a call. The rep I spoke to then stated I was still on the schedule and the tech would be calling. It was now 3 o’clock and still didn’t receive a call. I called back and spoke to a very rude rep. She stated I was still scheduled and tried to get me to prepay for Freon because my grandmother owned the home and was not there but could not give me a price. She stated that if Pierre put Freon in the ac unit, it was a gift and they would charge me this time. I told her I would not pay if she could not give me a price. She then stated I was still scheduled and would be hearing from the tech.It’s now 7pm on a Saturday, no air all day, and still have not heard from Conway. I called back very upset but rational and spoke to another rep, explained the situation. She stated the reason no one called is because the work order was not assigned to a tech. At this point, I gave up. I knew they were not coming. She told me I would be assigned to local dispatch and I would likely hear from them on Monday, which I was not contacted and still have not been contacted. 2 weeks later.They were real quick to try to sell me an overpriced unit but could not get here to service my unit.0 stars and will never use them again.A very unsatisfying experience and customer.Kayla Adlon / Brenda Toler

We had a limb fall on our power box. We had no power and got someone to come out right away. They gave us a good quote and the Electrican that came out was extremely nice. We are going to use them to fix our issue and will be using in the future if needed. Prior to contact with Conway, my family endured a nightmare of a time with our old system that we discovered was too small for the home after we purchased it. (Be mindful of home inspectors not doing their jobs properly). So homeowners insurance denied any repairs due to the improper size after they had already sent a tech that made us wait 3 days without AC before arriving and who left wires botched up & severed in places causing AC to go out again. However, once Conway stepped in, things went so smoothly. We literally got the unit, including furnace as well installed the very next day after the consultation. The technicians including Steven V. did very thorough and neat work. Drop cloths were utilized to protect floors during the process, and there were at least 2-3 items that needed to be taken care of for the system to operate as expected that were not included in the initial quote that the technicians took the initiative to complete without additional charges. I cannot say how much I appreciate them doing the job right. Thank you thank you!

Spring A/C & Heating Tune Up & Maintenance. The Receptionist & Technician were both professional and courteous. However, I had to call two (2) days in a row to get the Technician to come to my house for the service. No one called or informed me they were not coming. We had Conway Services install 3 new HVAC systems in the spring of 2017. We had a larger unit installed as well as additional ductwork in our upstairs. Recently we noticed that the system was running nonstop and it was hot. We had Conway come out and after several days and no show techs, it was determined that we have a leak in our evaporator coil. While the tech was searching for the leak, he noticed that the ductwork was not installed properly - the holes were never cut in the insulation resulting in very limited/no air being pushed through the ducts. He explained that is why the back room never felt cool (summer) or warm (winter) and was causing our unit to run more than normal. He said his supervisor would be getting in touch with the installation manager and I would be receiving a call to schedule the repair. I still have not received a call from Conway so I called today and left a message for the installation manager, Dale.Now, onto the next issue - the leak in the 5 year old evaporator coil. The part is covered under warranty, but the labor is not. We have a 10 year part, 2 year labor warranty. The repair estimate I was given for labor only was $2,222. When I questioned this astronomical price, I was told that the repair would take 4-5 hours and this is the price all customers are given. Let me break that down - if it took 5 hours, that would mean more than $415/hr, 4 hours = $500/hr for only the labor!I reached out to a local business and was quoted $900 for the labor. That's still a lot for a 5 year old product that costs a lot to begin with, but is much better than the quote Conway gave.So, the moral of this story is that 1. Conway doesn't complete installation jobs, 2. They don't stand behind their work or products, 3. They will pad their prices to cover warranty repairs.They are blinded by sales, quotas, and dollars.Shop local where they stand behind their work and products and STAY AWAY FROM CONWAY! I will never recommend them to anyone ever again.You can see in the picture where the insulation was not cut to run air to the air ducts.

My husband & I were having an issue with our air not cutting on(upstairs in our house)back in may so we called and they sent out technician who pushed the button and air came on.(we had been trying for 2 wks) He checked our system and said everything GREAT NO PROBLEM! Paid $ 100 he left & air cut off and did not cut back on. We went ahead and went on our planned vacation & came back air still not working. We went and bought Thermostat changed it out still not working. We called back they sent another technician who diagnosed problem as thermostat. He did quote price of $390 + $89 total $469 dollars & my husband agreed (I was not there or I wouldn't be writing this) because it is HOT, and while installing my husband told him about the one we just bought (for $50) but it didn't work & the tech told him that it is usually not the thermostat but the plate behind thermostat that goes out(happens all the time).I get home & find out how much and flipped my lid. I called this morning to complain and I get told Mr. Conway doesn't even work there anymore that it is ARS I explain why I am upset and all I get told is they will refund the $89 for service call. What upsets me is $390 being charged for something they get for probably $25. To ALL CUSTOMERS buy your OWN THERMOSTATS & REPLACE THE PLATE AS WELL & SAVE YOURSELF your HARD EARNED MONEY!! Also know that the FRIENDLY MAN YOU SEE ON COMMERCIALS IS NO LONGER WITH the company that bears his name!! We personally will use some one else in the future! GREENWAY, CANNON BROTHER's someone. Just a side note, 1 thermostat has now cost us $569 dollars ($100 for first call where nothing was wrong LOL to this $490 yesterday.) My way of thinking is the tech should've told my husband about the plate going out before installing when my husband had told him about us buying the thermostat from LOWES and we would've just owed $89 for service call & diagnosis. Better yet the first tech to come out should've stayed to see if air cut back on after it cut off! Then it might could've been fixed then instead of saying no problem! Just wanted everyone to BE AWARE of CONWAYS practices & up charge on things you can get for $50 bucks! The service tech was professional and knowledgeable. I described an issue I was having with one of my HVAC units and he was able to identify the problem and fix it (a blown fuse). Had my annual A/C maintenance. The technician looks at my outside unit tells me I need another unit. He says you feel the cool air coming from the top and how it is vibrating. All of this before coming inside to check the furnace. So, I place a repair ticket in with my home warranty. They came out the same day. Replaced my Refrigerant oil and tightened core stem. Absolutely, my unit is 17 years old and it doesn't look the best, but it still functions. Please do not be pressured into buying another unit with this company. Their honesty at this point is in question.

My HVAC systems started having issues on the hottest day of the year. Jerry spent over 5 hours at my house, troubleshooting, working in my hot attic and outside on the units. He did his best to get them back on, but we need additional plumbing work to fix one, and the other one needs replacing. Jerry patiently explained all the issues to me, helped set up additional appointments with plumbers, and to replace the old unit. He was courteous, professional, polite, and sensing how overwhelmed and frustrated we were, very calming, assuring us this would all be fixed. I wish every service provider was as great as Jerry was today.

Bruce from Conway came to our house to repair a leaking external spigot and to install a garbage disposal. Bruce looked and acted very professionally. He inspected both issues and gave me multiple solutions and the cost for each and seemed genuinely interested in the best solution for us not the most expensive. Left my home cleaner then he found it. If I need plumbing services again, I’m asking for Bruce by name.I would also say that while I’m not sure Conway is the low cost provider, every experience I’ve had with their technicians has been this exact same way; professional, efficient and customer focused.UPDATE: HVAC went out over Labor Day weekend. Jerry was sent out the next day and quickly determined the issue and clearly explained the solution. Even my crazy dog charmed by him.

Our downstairs unit stop working. Conway's tech Desi, came out to diagnose our system.He looked at the outside unit using his gauges. Told me my system had too much refrigerant.Released the refrigerant then told me that I needed a pressure switch replaced at $640.00and my evaporator coil had horrible restrictions and needed replaced at $4,390.00.I had a second opinion from another company.They told me my pressure switch was bad and that I was super low on refrigerant. Well after all was said and done the second opinion fixed my problems of low refrigerant and a pressure switch for a grand total of $300.00.Needless to say I will never recommend nor use Conway services again due to my experience with their tech, Desi.

The gentleman showed up on time. That pretty much all he did. I led him to my bathroom and he was surprised it was a toilet problem. He then says let me go get the bill together. Mind you he hasn't tried to flush or even touch the toilet. He then comes in and states it'll be 700 dollars which I declined. He then charges me 89 dollars for a free diagnosis. Which was why we called a clogged toilet. So they charged me to tell me what I initially called them for. I would love my 89 dollars back but I'd love to have the toilet fixed more. One of their technicians quoted us with a $13k full system replacement when they came to look at our system. I, obviously, called around to get a second opinion, and another company got our system up and running for under $300. I was told by the man who actually did fix the unit that When Conway Services left our home, they completely shut the power off at the unit outside; I was told by the man who eventually fixed the ac this was likely done on purpose to make it miserable in our home so we would be more likely to move forward on the repairs. Recently bought 2 brand new HVAC systems and was working great until a couple of days ago I started noticing they were not cooling as efficiently as they should. It was 80 degrees inside our home and they would not budge down one point at full pull for the units. I called Conway and they immediately sent a tech out (Kevin N). Kevin was outstanding and professional and really showed how rapportive and true to their word about how responsive and promptly Conway honors their warranty. He came and found a leak in the refrigerant line in one of the main lines. He immediately got to work and was very courteous and highly respectful throughout the whole deal (also while sweating and working in the humid and musk heat in the attic and outside non-stop). It was soon fixed and once again made our home go from a green house to an igloo. 👍. Overall this left me very impressed and very satisfied as a customer that I chose Conway. They are the best you will find and get in the business. And if you happen to get Kevin then consider your self extra lucky because you got a great tech and professional all around! 🙏👏💯

They didn’t show up on the day they said they would. I had to call them back the next day.The main line is under their warranty but they said the issue was not the main line, but a branch line. They charged $373 for the work and offer no guarantee for any length of time. The technician was nice enough but, he can only follow the Conway policies.

Donnie Walker came to evaluate my air conditioning system. He isn’t the first technician to evaluate the system. My system hasn’t been working appropriately since June 2023. He is the one who took time to evaluate the system and to come up with a solution. He gave the personalized care and attention that I’ve gotten from Conway Services since becoming a customer in 2004. He fixed the problem and communicated the solution to me personally.I’ve had to use the call in service in Houston multiple times with this problem. The service technician did a good job. My problem is the extreme high cost for Freon 410A. $371 per pound is crazy I know other companies don’t charge for a 25 pound container to one customer.. Everyone I asked said a pound should have been 35.00 a per. They said no way I got charged $700 of two pounds for Freon. I will be letting everyone I know the high cost of your service. When I have my unit installed I recommend you to my friends and family who purchase your units. I called a HVAC supply company. The said price of a 25 pound bottle is about $379 to 400.00. Wow this crazy

Had uv systems installed in both my units. HVAC tech has to move both furnaces to make room for them. Ended up have leaks during rain storms and I spent over 6 hours at least trying to seal up the leaks. Multiple no shows to fix the leaks and two hvac techs were unable to fix the leaks and eventually Conway a had to contract roofers to reseal my furnace pipes. They ended up resealing all my pipes on roof and only painted two of them. One of the furnace pipes doesn’t even have the same color as the other 2. I’m still waiting for partial refund since this whole ordeal has caused me pain and headaches and almost damaged my unit and attic floor and ceiling which would have definitely if I didn’t have suspicion upon the initial installation. I spent over 3000 dollars on this and this is what I get. Just give me the whole refund because this should never happen to anyone! Especially when damage was caused to my house which is only 3 years old. Every time I see this company on the road driving it literally disappoints me.

Called on Tuesday afternoon, they said they would be out Wed, but could not give me time window, only that they would call 45-60 min before arrival. At 6:50 pm on Wed they called and wanted to reschedule the service for Saturday or Monday. With temps around 97* and heat indexes 107*+, this was unacceptable. If they would have said they couldn't get out to service a unit they installed in a timely fashion they should have said so and I would have found another company to go with. I called back again and asked to speak to a supervisor, was put on hold and then told the technician would be out today (Thursday).During the service, while the parts were under warranty, they could not warranty the parts unless I paid for a cleaning of the condenser unit. Seems wrong to warranty parts but then charge more for running some water over unit to clean it. So for a $22.00 part (yes, this is what the exact part used costs on Amazon) I had to pay $99.00 for a Cleaning.Doubt I will be calling Conway again, service has gone downhill since the company was bought out and is only using the Conway name.

A tenant reported water backups to tubs and toilets in a rental home. I hired Conway to clear the drain from the house to the main drain. The house is older and does not have a clean out. Al with Conway gave me options for clearing the drain and recommendations for the best cleaning. After overcoming obstacles (no clean out, weather, equipment) Al/Conway successfully cleared the drain in a timely, cost efficient method. The turnaround was very fast and there was no hassle for after hour services. Customer Service and Dispatch were professional and responsive. I rate the service 5 stars. I will definitely use Conway for future needs.

Had them come inspect our system to figure out why our unit was not cooling our house. They discovered a leak that was inaccessible. Wanted to charge $2,800 to build doors to access the unit. It was a job of about $200 in supplies that I could do in 3 hours. Then they proceeded to charge $10k to replace the coil system that had the leak. A new unit of the same size was $11k. Why $10k to just replace the coils??? They said $5k of the 10k was to replace 13 pounds of freon. This is a 2.5 ton unit which holds 6-12 pounds of freon! All sites I visited said to completely fill a 2.5 ton unit should cost $1-1.5k. This company is predatory and thrives on people's need for A/C. Go somewhere else!Edit: Ended up using a local contractor. They are charging 3k to repair our A/C and fill it. Granted it is discounted from 6k, but this was not even an option from Conway. DO BETTER!!Edit 2: received a 10 year parts and maintenance warranty.

Plumber came out - did no diagnostics and seemed confused about what the issue could be. Said he assumed it was the main line but he didn’t have a snake long enough to try to fix it and left after collecting payment.Patton Plumbing came out and identified/fixed the issue immediately (was not the main line).Conway refused to refund the service fee.Would recommend going with an experienced plumbing service - not Conway.

Called it in and they corrected the extra bill but, wow, way to make me angry. Said it was an internal billing thing that was sent to me because they had my email. They need to manage their employees better, and their prices are outrageous.We called them at 2am (because their hours say 24/7) after trouble shooting our unit on our own. We were pretty sure we just needed a new capacitor, but weren’t 100% sure so we had someone come out to look at it. Alex got here after 9am and was very nice and replaced the capacitor no problem and got our AC working again. We are very thankful and appreciative of that. It took Alex about 5 minutes to fix and I know that part can range anywhere from $10-$50. I also know that it is a Sunday and they have a business to run but $428 seemed outrageous to me. Also they said I could have a free quote on replacement of the unit so I accepted that and they also sent someone out same day. I feel so bad that they sent Willie out here to give us a quote when a phone call would have been just fine. They had Willie leave church to come give us a quote … I feel that Sunday house calls should be for emergencies only and there was no need for Willie to leave his family on a Sunday to give us something as minute as a quote.

I recently had Conway replace my older Carrier Furnace and AC system. Everything my sales/comfort advisor, Joseph, said he would do, he did. He measured the space and walked through the different system options with me. He clearly communicated what the process would be like and what I could expect at install. The install team was on the same page as the sales team. Before they started bringing anything in, they walked through and saw the systems and where they would be working. They put floor coverings down throughout the entire area they walked, installed both furnace and AC systems, secured all vents properly, left the attic cleaner than when they got there and were professional throughout the entire day. They kept me up to speed on the progress and at the end reviewed everything they did. Big shout out to the install team of Josh, Brandon and Deirous. You all represented yourselves and your organization in the most professional manor. Thank you for a job well done! I would highly recommend Conway and their team.

I was disappointed this time. I was told when I called that someone would be out the next day between 8-12. Never showed up. They had 1st set up appt. On a day that I had no power, so they moved appointment out about a week and told me if power came back on just to and would move up appt. Well power came on about 3 days later. I called back and that’s when I was told they could have someone out between8-12. No one showed up so I called and they said they were backed up and they would have someone to call and have someone let me know how long it would take to get someone out. It was going into the second week and still no contact. Someone could have had the Courtesy to call and explain and give me a timeframe.but everyone I talked with would tell me they would connect me to dispatch so they could call me, but never got a call.

It is not good. On 29th they send out a tech that had no experience had to be diagnosed by the tech on phone. Waited five days for a part which we had to stay on them and call about it. Lastly, they send another tech and you know he did not want to be there. Rushed to get a temporary fix. Approximately thirty minutes later the ac unit said there was a fault. We called Conway back and they did not want to send anyone back until next day(which will be between 10-2). I hope they send someone that wants to help customers.

We had been without an AC for two weeks because of a unresponsive home warranty company that we are filing claims against. When we decided to take direct action, the first company called was Conway. The technician that diagnosed our system was excellent. The person who followed up with an estimate, however, obviously didn’t want our business, quoting us more than double than any other company at $15937. We have a 1600 sq ft home! We went with Tiger Paws.They were excellent all around, offered the same service even with duct repair, for $7500. We paid cash and are happy with the outcome. I sincerely hope Conway addresses their exploitative price gouging and actually cares enough about consumers to quote accurately.

After reading the reviews, I still decided to keep my Tuesday morning appointment between 8 -11, just to get a quote.I received a phone call, at 7 am the day of my appointment, from Conway telling, me my technician Mike would arrive between 8a - 9a.At 9:15, I received a text with Mike's name and picture. Yes, 15 minutes after the time you called to say he would be here. It is now 9:50 and still no Mike. No updates. No nothing.I wish i could add a screenshot of the text I received. All of the reviews I read about Conway being late or a no show were absolute FACTS. ALL OF THE REVIEWS WERE SPOT ON.Don't waste your time with Conway. If they can not be on time to give a quote to a potential customer, who is less than 5 miles from their office, they are definitely not going to value you or your time once they get your money.If I could give zero stars to match their zero (F)phucks about their customers, I would.

Conway is great down to the service, step by step communication, performance, etc. Only thing I disliked was the field supervisor(Jessica) greeted my dog never once knocked on my door for me to greet her she walked clean said hi and went straight were the techs were. To much is going on for you to walk in anybodies house. Let along another agent was called out and she directed him in like I wasn't sitting there, he did speak and ket me know who he was. The fact of the matter is let me greet whomever is at my door, never do you take upon yourself to do so period.

CONWAY Services Are Amazing.I know, really can a service place be amazing? With them, yes. We first used Conway a few years ago when our 35+ year old AC broke. We went to Home Depot, got credit, and started the process. We didn't know it at the time, but when we got paired with Conway we got soooo lucky! When they came for the overview visit they inspected everything, and turns out our duct work was messed up and missing important components, so we had to get a new system and new & repairing ducts. Everyone involved in the process was incredibly pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable about their task as well as everyone else's.---fast forward to now---We have our AC and Heater checked (almost) every season with them, and today was no exception to the pleasant, professional, service we've come to know, but this gentleman was extra in a great way, so I've *finally* remembered to give Conway a great review. So, shout out to Jerry who came to the house for a routine heating inspection. We hit it off immediately, he explained everything incredibly throughly, answered all of my questions (and there were plenty, as I like to know how my home works) without seeming put-out, and actually seemed to enjoy his job, which makes interactions sooo much nicer.Conway has a new thing where there's a second person who talks to you on the phone to double-check you understand everything that they did, pointed out, and the recommended solutions. I got to speak with Cole for this part and, yes, another shout out for awesomeness is in order. Again, pleasant, cared, and let me go on about Jerry, which is kind of saying something because it was lunchtime.BOTTOMLINE: if you need services, call them. The work will be done correctly, timely, and pleasantly.---they also do electrical and plumbing, I had't realized that until today, if I'd known we'd've been using Conway for all of that too.

I would leave 0 stars if I could, but Pierre Williams was an AWESOME technician and deserves 5 stars for his service alone! Everything else was awful. I took off work because my appointment time was 8am to 10 am...nobody arrived until after 330 pm. I called twice and was told people were without heat and they were behind schedule. I scheduled the first appointment of the day and haven't had heat for 3 days🤷🏾‍♀️. The part I needed couldn't be picked up today because guess what....it was too late in the day. So, it's going to be a cold weekend and it should be fun trying to play scheduling games to ACTUALLY get the piece installed.

Charged me $492 for a $30 part and the Tech was here for less than an hour. Didn't fix the problem. Sent another Tech that then wrote me another bill for $1100. 3 days later that Tech said he quit and would do the job for half. Conway then sent another Tech who said the other 2 didn't know what they were doing. The moral to the story is they got me for about $500. If you're rich and don't care about money this may be the Company for you. The only problem is you'll still have the problem after you spend all your money.On a side note, they couldn't honor their monthly charge for cleaning vents and the other nonsense they offer because I have a package Unit.I knew before I hired them that they would be high. Didn't know they would be incompetent. I hired a HVAC guy outa Somerville named Kyle and he's been here for 20min and low and behold it's fixed for $150...

I called after reg business. Call center set diagnostic check for the next day. Conway called 30 min before they came. Mike Davis answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable of my central air problem. He ran some test replaced a part. Mike went over things to look out for in the future. Wrote a bill,all done and paid in under 2 hours. Complete No Show. When I called to check on status (after sitting in 85 degree house All day waiting on them), I found out that they had changed appt time to over a week later but didn't advise me. I never received any text, email or phone call during whole ordeal. I was never able to talk to anyone other than the call center located in TX vs. TN. While the individual call center employees were perfectly nice, they had no authority to resolve my issue and could only email the Memphis office, who never responded. Terrible customer service. Scott the lead tech spent a fair amount of time checking all parts of my system. He found issues others have missed or did not check. System had leaks everywhere in attic and he also found other issues to include mold, leaking coil, , etc and outside Compressor was loud like a turbine engine. This was a long on going issue Conway found what other service didn't. Very happy new customer so far.Edit: As a result of them finding these serious issues I have awarded them the job to R&R my system and to turn house into 3 zones.

First off, I called them on a Saturday morning to fix our heater that wasnt kicking on. The Technician came, the same day at around 4pm and swapped out a faulty gas valve. Michael A. Was extremely professional upon his arrival for our service call. He thoroughly inspected our hot water heater upon being told our pilot light had been intermittently shutting off and finally no longer lighting. It was determined that we needed a new hot water heater. He was very knowledgeable on the available options and talked us through each one explaining each one in great detail. We went with a tankless after having so many issues with a tank in the home. He got us set up and on the docket for the next day to have it installed. Thank you so much for your hard work.

Conway HVAC sent technician Doug Maddox to my home after I requested a 2 system full check because of a prior problem. Doug checked both systems throughly while explaining what he was doing and he then checked and cleaned both condensers until they looked brand new. I didn’t have to ask him to complete any tasks he was the utmost professional.

Appointment was scheduled 2+ weeks in advance for 10am-12pm for semi-annual maintenance. Technician doesn't show up during the window. Call at 3:30 saying going to be there at 4:00, didn't show up until 4:45 and knocked on my garage door rather than ring the front doorbell. I have to turn the technician away because we're now leaving the house after waiting around all day. So I call to re-schedule, but the soonest they're willing to accommodate me is 30 days out. I've been a Conway customer for a long time, and was probably going to use them to replace both of my units next year, but I'll now be cancelling and taking my business elsewhere.

We are installing electrical connections for a hot tub and they sent a technician a day early (called to confirm ofc). We thoroughly reviewed what was needed to complete the connection. Kevin, our technician had an awesome demeanor and was incredibly helpful. He showed us a few ways to save some money as well where as other technicians were trying to price gouge us. We will definitely be using them in the future if only for Kevin's attitude and professionalism.

I call for them to come out and replace AC duck that they should have replaced when they install the AC unit Which caused leak damage to the outside wood of the house they said it will be three weeks before they can come out three weeks came they did not come out or call and when I called them back, they did not have a reason. I had also paid for Pro service $216 ask for them to refund back on my card because they did not show up. I have not received it yet. It’s been over a month. I also did business with them with a water tank. They did not install it properly. It did not work at first, They also call someone out to replace the shingles. They did not replace the right color of shingles and wanted to insult my intelligence, saying the singers on the roof we’re old. I would not recommend anyone to them because I have also been told they charge two times or three times more for the service and also take your old equipment and sell it for scrap.

On my initial phone call to Conway I spoke to a very friendly lady whom made me very comfortable with using Conway. She provided me all the information I needed to schedule and what to expect.Service guy showed up sooner than expected, Dylan Gatlin whom was very personable and knowledgeable person. Because of my interactions with these two representatives , Conway is top of my list for all my HVAC needs.Definitely a 5 star recommendation.

I was charged a ridiculous price $400 to be told your pipe was too small for the newer washing machine drainage. I still need to call another plumber. I have no change in the water flow blockage. I will never use them again!

My A/C went out about a week ago - Conway was able to get a technician out the next day to diagnose, which no other company I called was able to do. The initial diagnosis they determined turned out not to be the issue which unfortunately led to the whole process taking a few more days. Honestly, I would have been insanely frustrated because of this but Conway was willing to work with me because of the error and additionally, the tech who worked on our house the next two times (Adam) was more than professional in terms of keeping us updated and getting the work done quickly and effectively both times he was out. He honestly turned a very frustrating experience into a much more tolerable one. I can't really blame them for the misdiagnosis though, as my understanding of the situation is that both parts were bad to begin with. Would recommend due to the responsiveness and professionalism.EDIT: Three days after they fixed our system, it went out again. After some back-and-forth and countless phone calls, they finally sent out a senior technician to work on the system. He wasn't immediately able to fix the issue but instead wired up our blower motor so that it would constantly run so we would at least have some air circulation throughout the house. However, I later notice that we have a HUGE leak in our kitchen ceiling after he worked in our attic. Despite the fact that our ceiling is now damaged and is ACTIVELY LEAKING WATER, they can't send anyone out to fix it. Honestly, at this point, save your money, time, and energy and just go with someone else. The level of incompetency from this company as a whole has done nothing but infuriate me.

Your prices are ridiculous. $1000 to change out a receptacle. I had planned on having much more work done, but when I was quoted the price to replace an outlet, I changed my mind. I will do without. Never will I use Conway for anything. You used to be a reasonably priced company but not anymore. And it still cost me $89!

While I generally believe Conway does good work, I do believe they are extremely overpriced. I called them out to give me a quote on replacing a busted cutoff valve behind a toilet after a hard freeze. I was appreciative that they were able to get me on their schedule within 24hrs however, within 5min of being here the tech quoted me a price of $800 (which was lowered by two hundred dollars after management approval). The job seemed to be pretty straightforward considering there wasn't any copper to deal with but only the new pex tubing. The job consisted of replacing the busted valve, a few fittings, and the finishing crimps. While the tech did run into a fitment issue that required a part that he didn't have on the truck that he had to leave to pickup; the overall job only took about an hour which in my opinion shouldn't justify an over $500/hrs labor charge. Just to be clear, I'm not trying to be a cheapskate considering I had just spent over $15K with them less than 2 months prior replacing an hvac unit. I just felt like I was being taken advantage of and I didn't feel like my loyalty to them counted for anything. I digress... They got me squared away so I guess that's all that matters. The tech was also very professional throughout the ordeal.

Toran and the installation team were very friendly and professional. I wish I knew everyone's names, everyone in the team seemed to be stand-up and dependable professionals. Everyone worked with a great attitude and a smile on their face. The team was very careful about keeping the place clean and the water heater install itself looks very well done. A plumbing install manager also made a visit during the install. Overall great install experience with Conway.I definitely also need to call out Marvin Hayes, Conway's plumbing advisor - he initially walked me through what the service entails and the different options available. I used to have much better confidence in Conway. But my recent experiences have changed that confidence and trust. After four visits to my home in efforts to fix our A/C system, it was clear that I needed to get somebody else. The technicians failed to pinpoint the problems and even misdiagnosed what they decided the problem was each time they came out. I originally had a capacitor replace by them in July for 600.00. This appeared to be the problem, which made sense after seeing the old one and hearing what that technician said. But after that, we continued to have our unit malfunction and the original person returned as well as another one twice within approximately 30 days. As everybody knows, the weather in that time was horrendously hot too.The last visit by one of the Conway plumbers was recommended by the AC tech since he said the drain line was clogged up. The plumber inspected it and, bottom line he wanted to charge over 400.00 to attempt to clear it up. But saying that it might not actually work but I would still pay the charge. I refused to let that happen!So, I contacted Choates who sent somebody right out. Within 1 1/2 hours their guy had done a complete assessment and found the problem. And, he clears the clogged drain line by putting a short hose in it and blowing until it cleared. So much for a 400.00 price tag to accomplish the same result! And, the complete cost to do everything, including the parts that were replaced was little more than half of the Conway plumbing standard charge for clearing a condensation line. The Choate's guy also made a repair that he didn't even charge for too.Shame on you John Conway!

This one is probably going to be a bit long, so settle in:I’m going to start with our salesman (Joseph Wigginson)—I cannot speak highly ENOUGH about him. He was purely fantastic. He was open and honest, and even though he is a salesman, he didn’t try to sell us something that we didn’t need. He actually listened to my concerns, and accommodated me accordingly. A whole new system is not cheap, and the initial number was SHOCKING. He worked with us, to get us within budget.NOW I’m going to review our service technicians (Josh Culbertson, Kadryn Smith, and Devin McNeary). Seriously—top notch. Those boys need a trophy AND a raise. They are the epitome of courtesy and professionalism. My husband is a veteran HVAC technician, and he is thoroughly pleased and impressed. I could literally go on and on about ALL of the people that we have encountered, EVERYONE has been beyond phenomenal. I would recommend Conway to anyone and everyone all day, every day. We are beyond grateful and pleased, and are actually sad to see “our guys,” go, but are super grateful for a new system.

I went online to find a plummer. I got calls from Conway for two days, when I finally answered, I was told they would send someone out for a FREE estimate.NOT. When the tech got here ,He stated that there was a service fee of $89 just for him pulling up. Called office, they wanted to know who called me DUHH and offered some coupons if I had the work done. Paid $700 to get outlets changed as that’s what the guy said was the problem as to why my lights weren’t working. Next day problem persists so call back and they send a senior guy out to double check work. He says the first guy did everything right my fixtures were just going bad. Why the first guy didn’t tell me that was the problem I don’t know. Only reason they’re receiving a 2 star is because they were nice. I’m grateful I didn’t spend money on the other projects he suggested. Be careful

Jeff was extremely helpful and informative. He took time to explain what caused the problem and how to prevent it from happening. He made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. We've been long-time customers and had them do two system replacements in our home over the past decade. Though we usually get a different tech each visit, they're always polite and professional.On a call service today we knew that we needed to recharge our leaking, older bedroom unit that will need to be replaced within a year. Used to be that the first pound of R410a was free to paying service plan members, but not any longer.OK, so we need three pounds of coolant. For a long time, monthly dues-paying customer. Costs are rising for coolant due to regulations and dwindling supply, but let's say wholesale prices are in the $20-ish/lb ballpark. Typical quoted prices in my area are $100-120/lb, installed.Conway? Would you believe $300 PER POUND? Yep, I was quoted $900 for 3 lbs. Oh, and would I like for them to send someone out to discuss that new unit I'm going to need?The $900 was insulting. Thanks but no thanks, I don't want to waste my time or yours on whatever you'd like to charge me for a new unit. I called and canceled my club membership, seeing no real value in it for me any more, and have a local provider coming by this afternoon to quote all of the needed work (and his coolant is installed at $100/lb).Conway chased away a customer today with ridiculous, extortionate pricing. But I don't blame the service tech who was just doing his job very professionally.

I am extremely frustrated with Conway and their inability to follow through with scheduling & inaccurate description of the appointment schedule . I had called yesterday 5/11 to get someone out for our issue and they scheduled me for 9a-1p and the email stated that they would call 30-45 min before arrival. They apparently tried calling me at 7:20a which is perfectly fine if I had been given the expectation that the window would be 8-1. I was getting ready for my job so I missed the call since I had prepared to receive a call beginning at 8:15 and beyond. When I called back the lady in the office laughed and said they moved on to the next person. I was completely understanding of them moving on, but she verbally agreed that I would still be in the rotation for someone to come out. By 12:25p I had not gotten a call that anyone was coming and was nearing the end of my 4 hour window. I called back and another lady said she would have a tech call within ~15 min to let me know when they'd get to me. It is 4:20p and I have already gotten another company out and has fixed the issue in the meantime. I believe they probably have great technicians that do great work, but this is not how you handle a customer. If you can't get to the job just say that. I read an almost identical review to mine a few days ago and just didn't take it serious until this experience. I highly recommend the company, Airwise--ask for Grayson. They were able to fix our issue going into this warm weekend. Let this be a major learning experience, Conway!

We've used Conway multiple times for HVAC, Electrical and plumbing repairs and installations.Today they came out and installed a new 50a 240v plug for an EV Charger. They called ahead when a tech became available earlier than scheduled, tech arrived and gave an accurate quote, picked up the parts and returned promptly. Whole install completed from quote to payment in a few hours - before he was originally scheduled to arrive! Tech was friendly, courteous, answered all our questions and installed it exactly where and how we wanted.This has been a consistent experience. Every tech has been early or on-time, knowledgeable, and friendly. Work has been done same day when possible, or next day when a part has to be ordered.We've thought about trying other services but Conway has tackled everything we needed for good rates and great response times. Why gamble a consistently great experience over a few bucks!

Kitchen Faucet installationand they checked my AC/Furnace to see if it had a surge protector. My New AC/Furnace was installed by Choates. Conway DID NOT CHARGE ME for having a technician come by to look and give me a quote on a surge protector. Choates wanted to charge me $100 to send someone out and do the same thing. Conway seems to care and not charge the consumer crazy fees which I also had a plumbing issue Conway did not charge me for. Conway also has faster replies from the tech as well.

I would give 0 stars. To advertise $89 to remove a clog and to charge more was very predatory. We were charge I am very disappointed in the service I received from this company. We were charged $269. We were quoted $700. We are new homeowners. We had an upstairs toilet that was clogged and experienced slow drain. The tech came out in a timely fashion and cleared the clog. However, the same toilet overflowed and caused ceiling damage two weeks later. I called and asked if they warranty their work and was told NO. I had to call another company in the middle of the night to effectively unclog the toilet and recaulk our toilet to prevent future ceiling damage. It is sad that a provider wouldnt warranty their repares within 30 days considering this is a problem that could have been solved with the $269 we paid. I am extremely disappointed in the service rendered.

My a/c would not come on so called Conway as my normal service was unavailable due to customer back logs, Conway sent a tech, he was unable to fix the problem, sent another the next day same result, sent another 3rd day got uni t started and charge $250 for trouble shooting and service call, unit stopped after about 20 minutes after he left, 4th day another tech serviced unit 5 lbs of 410A refrigerant at $371.00@ and reported leak in evaporator coil and quoted a replacement cost. Of 2,134 if warranty is in effect if not warranteed $4,269 and would only refund $150 of the previous $250 charge for totally nothing accomplished. Called my normal service provider for second opinion on leak, he found no leakage at evaporator coil but did find leak at servicing Schrader valve, he replaced the Schrader and added approximately 1/2 lbs of 401A and charged $98.00 for service call, refrigerant & repair, I leave it to the public to decide but in my opinion Conway Services are the very last on my list to call for anything in the future.

Service was fine. We still have an open issue with vibration from the replacement of the blower motor. Service tech suggested it be reviewed during the spring tube up in 2023 since the vibration seems to have when in the cooling mode.

Great service. The two service technicians were very professional and very courteous. Got to the house exactly when they said they would. I contacted the company due to me believing I had a plumbing issue. Jay Moody (plumber) came out to assess the concern. He throughly inspected the suspected cause of the leak I called in about. He found the issue to be related to my HVAC system, so he recommended a HVAC specialist come take a look. The HVAC specialist (Dylan Gatlin) cane and was just as thorough and professional as the plumber. He assessed my concern and gave me a detailed synopsis of my HVAC issues. They were both AWESOME! Short story: Conway services stood me up during a heatwave in Memphis, TN. Not cool, literally!Full story: My A/C went out during the night. I called first thing that following morning. The lady on the phone let me know that they would put me on the schedule and I would receive a text message soon. Within 5-10 minutes I received a text message that stated my technician would arrive between 9am-1pm. The text message included a number to call with any issues. Around noon I was absolutely dying waiting in my house during a horrible heatwave with no A/C so I called the number. They assured me that a technician had been assigned to me and would text me soon with their ETA. Well 1pm came and went so I called back again. This time they said there was a mistake, they don't do service calls with a time frame of 9am-1pm... I'm not really sure how a mistake like that could happen but whatever.. She told me that Ricky had one more job and then he would have lunch and then he could come help me... Well after waiting two more hours and no Ricky I had to call another company. I called Conway and canceled. Then that evening (after the other company had already fixed the problem) Conway called me again to say they were sorry but they would have to reschedule me for tomorrow. So essentially they never would have showed and their communication is so bad my call to cancel hadn't been relayed to the technician.... SMH...

Conway heating and cooling services came out to evaluate my older units. The company was very transparent throughout the process. They offered us many different affortable options. My husband and I decided it was better to replace both units, since they were more than 20 years old. Instead of continuing to repair them over and over again. Conway sent a crew out the following morning to remove both older units and replace them. Conway replaced and connected both furnaces all in one day. That's right! All the work was completed in one day. The crew was very professional and friendly.They laid down protective covering to prevent any damage to my carpeting and floors. The crew was very informative about the work which was being done in my home. They answered all of my questions and concerns throughout the entire process. Which made me feel more comfortable. Conway also corrected some mistakes which were made by the previous home owners. Which Gave us better air flow in certain areas of our home. After they were done the crew cleaned up thoroughly behind themselves. Conway Services did an amazing job on my homes heating and air systems. They also guaranteed there work. The plumbing service offered by this company is probably not a good match for owners of older homes. I asked them for help fixing a pinhole leak in a copper pipe in the crawl space under the bathroom in my 1900-era home. The person they sent out offered three options: (1) the $89 service fee; (2) an attempt to fix the leak ($417, including the service fee); and (3) repiping the entire house ($12, 875). The problem was that the technician was not able to gaurantee that the second option would work, and that if didn't he said my only option at that point would be (3), a complete repiping. It seemed I had no choice but to get a second opinion, so I wrote a check for the service fee. As it turned out, I was able to find someone who fixed the problem for about $150 dollars. The following day I told my story to a supervisor at Conway. To the company's credit, she agreed to waive the service fee according to the company's total satisfaction policy. However, she explained that it was not cost-effective for the company to attempt to fix plumbing problems in older homes, because of the unknown outcomes. This is why they couldn't guarantee that permanently fixing a leak like mine would be successful, and why they recommended a complete repiping for an older home.

The 2 guys that came in never even tried to resolve the problem by taking simple steps first .. I only have a washing machine drain clog in which is not bad as at . And he tells my husband he MIGHT have to go on the roof. Why not start small with snaking the drain first to see if that will resolve it and if that don’t work tell us there is something major going on then that would have allowed us to make the decision then on what to do and paid him for what he had done. He wanted us to pay a service charge , for what??? , for telling us what it might be without even checking it out first .. I use to love Conway because of their employee Scot , Scott was a joy and very professional but, the 2 that came out today made me never want to use Conway again.. and the lady that answers the phone she is a sweetie pie.

Jonathan was on time, efficient, and professional. He explained everything he was going to do or had done and was clear and concise. He wore gloves, mask, and shoe covers and was respectful to my property. I have always been happy with Conway’s employees.

I contacted Conway about a laundry line and bathroom sink that were not draining properly. I was informed that the only way to solve the issue was to replace the old cast iron piping underneath the house. I agreed to have the work completed because it is an older house. Conway did come out within the next couple of days to complete the work. They dug a trench in the backyard to gain access to the pipes under the house. After the work was reportedly completed, the sink in the bathroom was still not draining and there was an open trench left in my backyard.I again contacted Conway to inform them of the issues. I was told that they could not determine why the sink was not draining. They continued by stating that the trench was left open because there was no clean out drain on the house. However, the house actually has 2 clean out drains. I paid 13k to have the drain pipes replaced. I had to wait 2 MONTHS before having this issue resolved. The bottom line is that Conway was quick to collect the money and slow to complete the work properly. After calling for months, I could not get them to come out and do what they were paid to do. No one at the company is on the same page. I got a different response from each person I contacted. TWO MONTHS and 13k later and I still had the same issue I was having before contacting Conway! When I decided to file a complaint with the BBB and with a bank that uses Conway as a vendor, I finally got a call back to try and resolve the issue. I WILL NEVER USE CONWAY AGAIN!!!!

I called them in the morning their sales person was out by the afternoon. He was very professional, and very thorough. And he knew what he was doing. They told me everything that I was going to get warrantees were on it and also I talked to an adjuster there and asked if I understood everything that was going on. I would highly recommend this company, not only are they professional, but they are right on it!

Kevin, Tony, and Zatavious were very professional from start to finish. They delivered all services as promised. They were polite and very respectful. Upon completion of the job, they took the time to explain what was done and provided us with all the information needed on our new HVAC system. They were meticulous about cleaning up once the job was completed. I will definitely be doing business with Conway Services again.

Kentrell from Conway fixed my thermostat after it failed, and they replaced it under warranty. Conway also did a great job on the installation of my whole house system a few years ago. I am very pleased.

I have used Conway in the pasted. The price was affordable and the work was outstanding. But to have two ceiling fans put up you want to charged over $500 is robbery.

I’m giving Conway two stars only because the tech really meant well.I called because I had a clogged P-Trap. When I set the appointment, I was told that they would come out and assess the issue and provide me with a free estimate - I already knew what the issue was. Anyway, the tech came back with an estimate, I said fine… Long story short a couple of hundreds of dollars later, the issue wasn’t resolved. I still have a clogged drain.Then I was told that they would send another tech later that afternoon to provide me with further explanation and more estimates - no call, no show. No follow up from Conway. Their own company name was CON in their name brand.I’m disappointed and won’t be ever using them again. They were of no help & my bank account is short hundreds, again with ZERO solution. As a matter of fact, the clog is WORSE now.

Conway replaced a malfunctioning heat pump for me. The service was outstanding. For example, while working, technician found an issue with a dryer vent hose that was deteriorated and depositing lint in the HVAC area. Not only did they identify the issue, but fixed it as well....without any additional charge to the original quoted price. Everyone was very professional and job was completed to my satisfaction. I highly recommend!

I have scheduled 3 appointments with them. I took off work. They never showed. When I called I get a customer service company out of Florida who claim they let Conway know if the issues and they will have them call me. no calls. Go elsewhere folks.

I spent yet another day (12 pm-4 pm) waiting for Conway to show up for a scheduled appointment. No show/no call! This the 2nd time they have missed an appointment! We called first thing this morning to confirm the appt. before driving two hours to meet them at our Memphis condo. Called Chickasaw once it was apparent Conway wasn’t coming, and they worked us in for service this evening.

I received timely communication from the company as to when their service representative would be at my home. Ken, our service technician, arrived early and was very professional. We have dogs and he was very thoughtful about letting us get the dogs situated so that he could do his work. He was really very nice and extremely knowledgeable about what he was doing. He was courteous and wore booties on his shoes. Just a very polite gentleman. I give him personally a five star!

I called early in the morning as I awoke with no heat on a chilly morning. The serviceman arrived at the scheduled time, diagnosed the problem quickly and remedied it. He was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Plus the price was as quoted before he completed his repair.
