I had a wonderful experience with Dallman Plumbing services. They had appointment availability the next day, and were able to complete some complex repairs, along with explaining everything that they were doing. The price was more than reasonable for the repairs done, and I’ll be using them again in the future if I have more plumbing issues!

Dave and Travis installed a new electric high efficiency hot water heater and two water heaters, and cleaned up some old lead plumbing that had already been disconnected. Not only that, when I had my health inspection and there were a few plumbing things that didn't pass, they came right out and helped me get up to code to open. They did a great job, kept everything pretty clean, and were friendly and helpful.

Absolutely AMAZING service! My very old furnace decided to just stop & they came out right away gave me an estimate & the next day installed the new one. The guys were great that came I could hear them jamming to music to help the time pass & I am all for music lol. They were very kind & very professional. We recently had an issue with our washing machine, and someone referred us to Prestige Plumbing. They were so timely with our request, had excellent customer service and communication, and the quality of their work is outstanding. I called them after discovering a horrible smell coming from the bathroom and basement. Their office staff was cheerful and polite, and they put me in touch with the service department immediately. I was told someone would be by within a couple hours and that they would call before they headed out. Maybe 45 minutes later I got a courtesy call saying a plumber (I think Greg) was on his way. I was SO impressed already! Then he discovered that the smell was coming from a sewer pipe from a toilet that was removed during a foundation repair. The pipe was never properly capped, but Greg fixed it in ten minutes. No more smelly house! He answered some other questions I had about our fixer-upper and he was so nice with our dogs that I sent him off with a bag of homemade cookies. HJ Pertzborn was worth every penny, and now I'm going to have them replace our water heater. SO impressed!

I was quoted one price for a sink repair, billed much more (think $80 estimate and $130 bill, somewhere in that range), then informed by the owner, Ken Buczak, that since I hadn’t talked to him directly, I was on the hook for the higher cost. I clarified, “Your own employee who answers the phones isn’t qualified to quote service charges?” and he said, “You didn’t talk to me, so you owe us $130.” When I asked how I could possibly have known this and suggested that it was illegal, he offered to see me in small-claims court. I didn’t take him up on it over $50, but I was furious.

This was several years ago, and I’m still angry. I’ve never been ripped off that flagrantly before (or since), and I get angry all over again every time I see their storefront. I’m sorry to see other reviews here reporting similarly shady practices from Verona Plumbing & Glass, but based on my own experience, I’m not surprised.

I was just googling to find Jack's contact info and was surprised to see a negative review. So I am countering. I used Jack a lot years ago and can't imagine he's gone bad. Good fellow, easy to work with.
