Returned my emergency call in minutes, a tech was at my home within an hour to repair my water heater.

Furnace technician was knowledgeable and friendly. He went through his findings with me, and even took the time to show me how to turn off the pilot light on my gas fireplace and how to turn it back on. I highly recommend Dave Jones, Inc.

Our water softner was making a horrible noise so I called Dave Jones to schedule a service call. Bob from Dave Jones was right on time when he arrived. After I explained the issue Bob performed a diagnostic not once but twice while explaining everything to me. The good news is there was nothing wrong and he felt it may have been some air that may have gotten into the water line as the city was doing maintenance. He did a great job and I won’t hesitate to use Dave Jones again.

We recently moved into a house that had an air conditioner that was two years old. The repair person, Steven, was very professional and explained we had a leak. Gave us a rough estimate of what was covered under warranty and what wasn’t. After further inspection, he determined that installation wasn’t done properly so it would all be covered. A less reputable company would have just gone ahead and took my money. I will call them again for all my service!

Dave Jones was awesome! We called with an air conditioning issue knowing it was about to be in the 90s and they showed up next day and fixed it. Our service rep was timely, nice, and knew exactly what to do. Would recommend! This is the third time we have called Dave Jones and they’ve always been wonderfully helpful and expedient.

We called to get a diagnosis about a failed water softener. That done and a replacement ordered, we also had our kitchen faucet replaced and outdoor silicone repaired. Our service tech Bob was friendly, forthright, prompt, efficient, and in every way a professional. A great experience!

Contacted Dave Jones Plumbing for dishwasher installation. Technician was thorough, tested install, showed me how to run the dishwasher and even asked for a broom to clean up the dust from where he had to drill through the cabinet. Very satisfied with his work!

I had significant water leakage from an upstairs faucet and called Dave Jones for after hours service. Not only did they respond quickly, but the tech told me how to fix the problem on my own to avoid the expense of a service call! If that doesn't show honesty and integrity, I don't know what would. A Dave Jones employee driving a marked Dave Jones Ford escape (vehicle#209) blindly blew into a four way intersection at the bottom of commerce park drive in Fitchburg this morning at around 9:35, nearly t-boning my vehicle. After nearly causing an accident they proceeded to drive aggressively up McKee Rd. I understand everyone has bad days, but this is no way to represent your company.

Replaced my water heater. I did not report as an emergency, but they still were out here within 3 hours of them reopening after a 4 day holiday weekend to attempt repair of the old unit. I had been without hot water for days at this point. When it was not able to be repaired they were able to get a new one installed w/I 24 hours.

i had a furnace installed in april of 2016 and less then a year it went to hell i called the emergency dept cause my house was under 55 degrees and when i told them the furnace is under warrenty still they didnt care they still asked for a credit card so they can get someone out to as soon as possible and when i told them that i dont have one they told me they cant fix the furnace they installed even though its clearly under warrenty. and when i asked for a person in charges name and number to contact them regarding this she refused to give me a name or a number she actually danced around that question for over 5 mins

I use DJ Inc. extensively at work and also use them personally for HVAC. In all circumstances, I have found them to be professional and reliable. Don, the tech that completed the AC maintenance this week at my home was very helpful, and went out of his way to look at a few factors relating to our AC unit. DJ is an outstanding and well-run local company...keep up the good work!

When no one else would come out... Dave Jones to the rescue. Everyone else is like oh we don't service those sorry. Manufactured homes in this area have sort of a stigma that no one wants to tackle. Little did any of them know that it was probably an easy fix everybody's like all we can't get parts. Well there are a lot of units that you can't get parts to especially now so why not at least try.

My kitchen sinks wouldn't drain, and my attempts to clear it didn't work. I filled in the rapid service request form on their web site, and got a call right away in the morning (around 7:15AM). They said they could come out between 8-9AM, and as promised, the plumber arrived at 8:15. He cleared the clog and gave me some suggestions about how to avoid the problem in the future. Overall, a great experience and I would call Dave Jones in the future for my plumbing needs.

For a service company I would think that your customer service would be a bit better. Called this morning because I had water actively leaking out of my water heater into the basement and I got you need a new water heater, we can be there in 2 days. No help for the immediate issue, no guidance on how to proceed while waiting, and I got an attitude and was told that I can call another company when I pushed for further assistance with my problem.
Called a competitor, got some immediate assistance, a sooner install date, and actual help without the sass.

Trevor did a great job of performing my annual air conditioner cleaning. He provided me with great information and did a fantastic job!

We had a whole house humidifier installed in January 2019 and we never got the humidity levels higher than 20% throughout the entire winter. Few weeks ago, I called in for service and the person who installed it himself came back and said that he forgot to check if the HVAC was set to intermittent, which was causing continuous air flow from outside, which made the humidifier install useless. He said everything should work fine from then on and went. After seeing no change in humidity values, I called for service again and another technician came in today and said that the humidifier fan was never running since the outlet it was plugged into was tripped. I am not sure if it was the outlet or if it was something that was loose inside the humidifier itself since he was moving the wires around from inside. So, basically, during the previous two visits, the humidifier was not doing anything.

I called to report a complaint and I was welcomed by this service dispatch lady, according to whom this was not a problem at all. And, it was my responsibility to open up the humidifier, connect the fan by extending the wires, and making sure that it was running. It was also my responsibility to check what the HVAC system was set to during the installation. According to her, I was shown mercy by not charging me for the consecutive visits, to fix their broken installation! Their “best” installer himself admitted that he forgot to check it during initial install, when he was here last time.

All I wanted was them to acknowledge that the installation was bad and accept some sort of responsibility, but, they didn’t. All they did was to try to make it look like it was my problem.

I was really impressed with their work earlier, but I guess you see the true colors of a company when things don’t go as planned. This is the last time I will be calling them for any work, as this sort of behavior to a paying customer is unacceptable.

During my annual maintenance, the tech was honest about my AC needs. While I don't need to replace my unit immediately, it's inevitable, and told me what signs to watch for to recognize when it would be time. I appreciate the honesty and professionalism.

I called to have someone come out and look at my AC. I was told since they came out last year, they would only replace, without even seeing what was wrong. Another company, small part and it was fixed in 15 mins. Very disappointed

I had issues with consistent water heat in my upstairs bathtub Jodie figured out the issue in 10 minutes replaced the control valve and all was good.

I called Dave Jones because I had a water heater issue, they had been out to fix a similar issue 6 months prior. Not only did I receive same day and timely service, but Bob the tech was friendly, polite, and extremely knowledgeable.
Bob fixed my issue in no time and not once did he make me feel like he was in a hurry or had other places to go. He took his time educating me and offering recommendations on using a water softener. Bob also gave me pricing on a new water heater should I choose to replace it the next time.

Recently built a home with Victory Homes, Dave Jones was the contractor that installed all HVAC and plumbing. 10+ service calls over the first 3 months of living here.
- recirculation line wasn't installed correctly
- HRV wasn't configured correctly which resulted in humid air being pumped into our house during the hottest months. Our wood work swelled because of it.
- Thermostats were never programmed, fan speed was set to the highest setting
- Hot and cold water lines were crossed for half of the upstairs. They cut into new drywall to switch the lines.
- Ducts were never labeled, that resulted in several trips to correct
- HVAC was making a whistling noise due to leaks in the duct work that wasn't installed correctly. (still whistles)
- Upstairs modular shower is squeaking due to being installed incorrectly
- Pot filler was installed incorrectly, water ended up leaking down the back wall damaging drywall in the basement bedroom

Dave Jones is a dumpster fire. Stay away. If you're building a new home and they are listed as a contractor, request someone else.

Adrian came over this morning for an HVAC filter service. He is always right on time, so friendly, and respectful of our home. He is a great asset to the company! That smoke did quite a number on our main filter after only 3 months. I'm glad I had the service done!

I am unbelievably impressed with the remarkable customer service my wife and I experience from Dave Jones. Last Saturday, our 20-year old furnace was experiencing issues. We called Jessica, the on-call representative, and she dispatched a field technician within a few hours. The field technician diagnosed the furnace problem within 60 seconds. We had to make a decision quick because a polar vortex was in the forecast. Less than 48 hours later we had a brand new high-efficiency furnace. Many decisions were made along the way and Keith, with Dave Jones, was quick to provide us with the information.

When Madison was experiencing the coldest temperatures on record, Dave Jones was there to ensure the safety of my family was their top priority.

We used Dave Jones for installation of an EV charger. Everything went great. Rodney was very professional, showed up as scheduled and quickly knocked out the job.

The plumber was very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. He also shared the reasoning behind doing it a certain way. He answered all my questions and was timely and professional.

This company was late by a few days to get over to my somewhat urgent issue. Called their Human Resources and they were complete trash in helping me. The guy who showed up to work was crabby and very unprofessional. Heard good things about this company and I hate even giving them 1 start, but that’s as low as it goes. I’ll use duck tape as a last resort before calling these guys again...

We've used Dave Jones a number of times in the past and have had good and timely service, with very fair pricing. This time was the same, however, we were disappointed in that the service person put a small gouge in our (recently refinshed) hardwood floor and a scratch in our granite counter. Neither os huge, but it would seem that a little more attention to detail like a drop cloth and counter cover could have avoided this problem.

A+ Service from the crew at Dave Jones. Our fan went out on our furnace so I sent them a message through their web portal (it was after hours and I didn't think it needed an emergency visit). Julie at DJ promptly replied back the next morning and set up a service call that day. They were pleasant, respectful, clean, and quickly solved the issue (fan controller module). Price was reasonable especially given the speed at which they were able to address the problem.

Contracted Dave Jones, Inc to re-route a cold water line in my kitchen. The craftsman arrived early and affected the repair in less time than anticipated (< 1hr). Quality of the repair was superior, and the craftsman was courteous, and left the work area cleaner than found.

We came home to no heat in our home and a puddle of water on the floor and water dripping down the walls. We called for service thinking it was the heater but these were two unrelated issues that technician Trevor serviced in a timely manner. He took the time to explain the issues, why they happened, and what he was doing to fix them both. He went above and beyond and diagnosed that we had a faulty hose bringing the water to the dishwasher which was causing the leak through to the basement. I would recommend Dave Jones and technician Trevor to anyone out there having an issue with their furnace!

I got back from vacation and found our furnace didn't work. I called Dave Jones and they had someone come out that day. He found a wasp nest in the air intake pipe, so once he removed the nest everything worked fine. I was very happy with the responsiveness and the person doing the repair.

The kitchen sink got clogged and after several tries at un-clogging it and the pipes below started to leak, it was time to call a plumber. The local plumbers were busy and not sure if they could unclog it. One of them recommended Dave Jones, Inc.

Now I know Dave Jones, Inc to be a big company that does big commercial buildings. Why would they help me with this little problem? But I called them and they were very nice on the phone and could come to my house in 2 days.

Bob, the technician arrived an hour early and I was still in my PJs. Never the less, I was happy to see him. I showed him the problem and he said 'No problem. Let me get to work'. Well, he did. The leaking pipes were off in minutes. He put an arguer down the pipes for 30 feet and then installed new pipes. This took about 35 minutes. He tested the new pipes with both hot and cold water. No leaks from the sink, it flowed like a river.

The price was within what I expected, good services, he was polite and efficient.

Next time you have a small plumbing job, Dave Jones, Inc. Maybe you too will get lucky and get Bob.

I shouldn't have to clean up after these guys! Last week, Rodney install my smart thermostat and had his shoes on the whole time...he even walked over the rug where my toddler usually plays. It's just careless and unprofessional. Yesterday, Peter installed my water softener and made a mistake and installed a water heater instead. He gave me a discount and installed both (water heater and water softener) but I also had to clean up after him. He was 15 minutes late, also wore his shoes the whole time too! There was dirt, salt, and some shavings off the copper pipes left behind. I had to mop and vacuum after they left! IT'S UNACCEPTABLE!!!
I was so disappointed and annoyed I just wanted it done and for them to leave!!! I have been using Dave Jones for a couple of years now but I will no longer be using their services. I shouldn't have to just deal with them to get the services done.

My partner emailed to ask if they serviced water softeners because we're new homeowners and their logo is on our water softener, and when we moved in the tank was empty and we wanted to know what to do and we got a very snide and rude email back so we are just going to do it ourselves but it was pretty shocking to get that reply back from a salemen.

Had a gas line run from the furnace up to the kitchen (for a new stove) and out to the yard (for a natural gas grill). Pete kept me informed throughout the process and sought confirmation before he had to cut one more access hole than originally planned. The work was careful and thorough, and even though it took longer than anticipated they charged me the estimated price.

My heat wasn't working properly. I called after hours and left a message. I received a call back and they let me know I could wait until the next day based on what was going on. That saved me the big after hours charge, which I appreciated! Scheduled a service call for later. They called me before they came so I didn't have to leave work too early, and troubleshot and serviced my furnace. I only needed to be home for an hour, and it wasn't too terrible in the cost department.
