I was referred to Electric Eel by a friend. I called 7:30 p.m. on a Friday and Dan (the owner,) answered. He offered me excellent advice which saved me hundreds of dollars. He was able to come to my home on Monday and service my system, as promised. He charged me a reasonable price. I DEFINITELY recommend this company to service your plumbing needs.

Very quick response. Dave was here within an hour of our early morning phone call. He explained everything he was doing and what caused the sewerage backup. He also contacted Restoration for us. We were not aware of that service. They also have been most helpful.

I had trouble getting many to return my calls but the staff there responded and serviced my needs right away. Once we picked a delivery date, they had my new water heater installed in about an hour. It was all much easier than I expected. Greatly appreciated.

We had a small leak in our ceiling that was coming from the upstairs bathroom so we called Liana to come check it out. He came over about 2 hrs later and It only took him a couple of minutes to show us that something in the shower was not caulked properly and was causing the leak downstairs. He recommended we just caulk it on our own and didn't charge us for anything, not even a quick service call. He was honest and professional and we will definitely call him for any plumbing services in the future.

Dama and Linga came and promptly found where our clog was and cleared it out. Very professional and courteous.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing responded quickly to our situation. Even on the holiday they were the only company to offer a fix that day. Specifically our plumber was David. He was prompt, professional, and happy to indulge my questions throughout the process. We hope to not need David's expertise again but if needed he will be our first call.

$175 for the permit (which we never saw!) is ridiculous and excessive and the work had to be redone by another company so $1,100.00 was a waste! We do not recommend them.

Excellent Service Tech. Seemed knowledgeable and attempted to solve the issue but was unable to detect or duplicate the concern. Although he was unable to fix the issue, he gave sound options that I am following with regard to a possible defective appliance vs giving me a service that may not have fixed my problem.

OMGGG I wish I had found Metcalf before I put my trust in a disastrous person who isn’t licensed and didn’t know what in the heck he was doing. My new construction project has been so much easier, so meticulously done, by seasoned, licensed professionals who absolutely know what they are doing. Les Metcalf initially met me at the house and spent THREE HOURS of his own time, walking through the property, explaining every single detail, answering all of the 5,000 questions that I had, and he was the www.the bomb.com. Let me tell you, you might want to give your work to someone recommended by a friend who says they do good work, but look at what happened to the homes by Reisterstown Road Plaza, three homes exploded, and unfortunately lives were lost because someone chose to go with someone who proclaimed to be able to do a job that they were not qualified to do. I did significant research, I read every single review about Metcalf Plumbing’s work. I made sure that when I found a plumber to install my new GAS lines and WATER lines, drains, shower systems, etc., that they were licensed, reputable, and came with recommendations from hundreds of customers.
You get exactly what you pay for. I’m so incredibly happy to have found Les Metcalf. This is not a fake review nor a paid advertisement. I’m a real NEW customer, who found myself in a real jam, with a lot of complex needs that required experienced professionals who knew what the heck they would be doing, and I got exactly that.

My heater went out during the night, so I called Fitz first thing the next morning. They were at my house within an hour, diagnosed the problem, then got the part we needed, and had it repaired just a few hours later.
