Best Water Line System in Baltimore MD

We have been using this company for 6 years now. From water heater replacement, pipe relocations and plumbing leaks. I always get a quick response and they are out usually that day.

This company was amazing! Kevin was the technician who came to my home. He was professional, he listened to everything I had to say about my issue. I had a small leak coming from the bathroom through to the living room ceiling. I explained to him that I had installed a new shower head several months prior and the pressure was very forceful to the point that the shower curtain was being blown around. Kevin said that could be what caused the leak but he was going to run a few tests to make sure. He ran the water in the tub for a good while, came down to check the ceiling, it was dry. He then flushed the toilet many many times, checked the ceiling and still dry. Lastly, he ran the water in the sink, checked ceiling, still dry. He surmised that the problem was the powerful shower head ( the curtain not staying closed to keep the water from leaking out of the corner ). He even googled splash guards on his phone to show me what I might want to use to help keep the water from leaking out! I was lucky that he had a lower pressure shower head in his truck that he installed for me. Saved me a trip to Lowe’s.
He could have easily told me pipes were leaking behind the walls, needed to be replaced, cost thousands to fix BUT HE DIDN’T!! He was honest about it just being the shower head and nothing more! For this, he has a customer for life and I will recommend Ace Plumbing to everyone needing a plumber!! Thank you, Kevin for being an awesome technician!

Be advised they will temporarily fix the problem, and then charge you to come back to fix what they messed up the first time. I hired them to fix my hot water heater. The plumber appeared to not know what he was doing and simply wiped water away which temporarily fixed the problem for 4 days. This cost almost $300. I called back and said it was not working again and that he did little to fix the problem and was told they would send someone but would be charging me again. I canceled the appointment because I will not pay another $300 for another slight fix when they didn’t fix it in the first place. Use anyone else.

Our technicians name was Bruce Jordan he was prompt, professional, thorough, and exceeded our expectations.

We had water heater installed and we had a previous issue with our shower which he went out of his way to look at and also repair.

We had a very good experience with the technician and this company we will use them again.

As usual, Tant's workmen were polite, professional, and efficient. They rapidly unclogged our shower, and found that the defective shutoff drain in our kitchen which other workmen had identified, was in fact brand new and in perfect working order. THanks!

Mr. Liana has been great to work with. He is easy to schedule with and communicative. He is knowledgeable about what our options are. For instance, he recommended we do nothing for a small shower handle leak (I appreciate someone who recommends what’s best for us, rather than trying to push for a project we’re better off without). I don’t normally like to spend time writing reviews. Metcalf is however an exceptional business. Stephanie is a pleasure to speak to and is very diligent in coordinating appointments/schedules. In the almost 3 years that I’ve been a homeowner I’ve had this phantom leak caused by the guest room shower. Finally, it was consistent enough that I called a plumber. 3 plumbers and an HVAC company later i finally found Metcalf. Mike, my plumber, was respectful and knowledgeable. He treated my situation with care which meant the world to me. His knowledge and expertise allowed the problem to be correctly diagnosed and actually fixed! He is a professional in his work and how he treats his customers. I’m very happy with their service and would call them again!

Great work, fast service, experienced and knowledgable team. I first worked with Fitz Mechanical 8 years ago when we installed a new boiler in our home. Stilwell was dispatched by my home warranty company to repair a shower valve. The plumber attempted to disassemble my old shower, and broke the trim, as well as the posi temp cartridge. While trying to put it back together, he leaked a large amount of water into my wall, causing a large water stain on the ceiling below. I was told that replacement parts were not available at their supplier, so their only option was to completely replace everything at a much higher cost on a later date. My warranty would not cover those costs.

Rather than having Stilwell come back and complete the job, I reached out to another plumber that was recommended. He obtained the parts needed to perform the repair from the same supplier that Stilwell claimed did not have them. He completed the repair with no issues.

Stilwell tried to scam me for hundreds of dollars by completely breaking my shower and stating that excessive work was needed to fix it.

I would not recommend Stilwell to anyone, for any reason.

Excellent honest service. I was quoted 678 from other repair service I found online he said he needed a part so may be a couple days. After waiting 2 days I decided to call Michael & Sons to see if they could come sooner. They got me in the same day and Antonio Noel was the technician he was in and out in no time and diagnosed the problem which was only a dirty sensor. Charged me 89 bucks for service call and gone. Amazing this guy saved me 600 bucks compared to the crook that came before him. Thank you Michael & Sons will do business again
