I am more than just impressed, I am grateful for Baltimore Water Heater guys! I live in Fed Hill, had an emergency, and called two big companies. Both times I got a secretary with no knowledge of plumbing or costs. One company even charged to just look at it (and not until the next day). Then I called BWHGs. Rob gave me a flat fee on the phone, without seeing it. He asked me to take some pictures, then came right over. It was a bigger job than he had anticipated due to the previous plumber's shoddy job, but Rob still stuck to his initial flat fee. Folks, Use BWHGs. You will talk to a real guy who knows his stuff; he will take all guesswork out by giving you a flat fee; and to top it off he's a nice guy who wants to help and is truly grateful for the work. I would recommend BWHGs to anyone who needs a water heater replaced; they are so good at it because it's all they do!

The 2 man team that came to the house was punctual and professional. Robbie told me the costs before they started the work. The company is very transparent and lists a lot of the prices on their website when you book services. Robbie and Brandon showed me where the issue was and repaired it the same day. Wow is all I have to say after James Anderson replaced my old, dilapidated pipes with modern pipes! James is a Master Plumber and is very meticulous, thorough in his work but what i like most is Mr Anderson communicates with his clients/customer every step of the way!! He is very knowledgeable and an expert with his craft!! James will be my Go-To-Plumber from now on whenever I need help. I'm so glad that our paths have crossed.

These guys were amazing! I requested help on a Saturday, when my hot water heater started leaking. I made an appt online for Monday, but got a call on Sunday afternoon asking if I’d like them to come early! EARLY!!!! Dave showed up and we came up with a great plan to get my hot water heater replaced — 2 hours later, we were back in business! Fantastic!!!

I heard about this company through a friend. I was pleased when I received an immediate response along with a next day appointment for my gas test. I was unfamiliar with what a gas test was as this is something that should have been performed on my home prior to purchasing. He was very knowledgeable and professional and wanted to make me aware of the process. He scheduled all of my inspections and pulled the necessary permits in a timely fashion. He also coordinated the inspection times with my schedule and tried to limit the amount of days I would need to take off from work. This was very important to me! He did a great job and the prices were better than I was quoted with other companies! I will definitely be using them in the future.

We contacted Metcalf to install a new hot water heater and sump pump for our new home. We worked with Mike and Allen. They were highly professional, courteous, on time and pleasant to work with. They took precautions to wear masks and took great care while working in our home. The install of our new water heater and sump went great and we are very pleased with their work. We would highly recommend them!!

Very friendly and quick to respond. Explained what the issue was, how he would fix it and how to prevent it from happening again. Was very knowledgeable and took time to really show me what the problem was. I will definitely call him again for any future repairs.

Stilwell was dispatched by my home warranty company to repair a shower valve. The plumber attempted to disassemble my old shower, and broke the trim, as well as the posi temp cartridge. While trying to put it back together, he leaked a large amount of water into my wall, causing a large water stain on the ceiling below. I was told that replacement parts were not available at their supplier, so their only option was to completely replace everything at a much higher cost on a later date. My warranty would not cover those costs.

Rather than having Stilwell come back and complete the job, I reached out to another plumber that was recommended. He obtained the parts needed to perform the repair from the same supplier that Stilwell claimed did not have them. He completed the repair with no issues.

Stilwell tried to scam me for hundreds of dollars by completely breaking my shower and stating that excessive work was needed to fix it.

I would not recommend Stilwell to anyone, for any reason.

Ted and his partner were extremely professional and courteous when replacing my hot water heater. His assistant was very courteous and professional wearing boot covers the entire time. Ted and his partner made sure to announce themselves each time before walking into the living room since I was home. I would recommend this company to my family and friends!
