We called Michael & Sons to give us an estimate on running a natural gas supply line to our new inground (heated) swimming pool. We chose you because of the outstanding service provided to us when we purchased our replacement hvac system a few years ago. The crew at the time was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful.This time we weren’t so lucky… or happy. The technician asked me questions that I had no idea what the answer are. He asked how deep my opened trenches are (pool utility trenches still open) and how far away the heater would be. He would know both by just walking out our back door (which he never did). He told us that we couldn’t do it with our current gas meter, and that you guys don’t replace meters and that that it would be about 6mo to get an upgraded meter from BGE! That was it. Paid for a wasted service trip, and out the front door he went.We will now be reaching out to your competitors to see what they have to say. Maybe they’ll at least give us what we call for… a quote to run a gas line. We’ve done a lot of “talking up” Michael’s & Sons due to our past experiences. I had a very disappointing experience with Nick. He was paid to fix a plumbing issue, but not only did he fail to resolve the problem, but he also caused additional damage in the process. I was left with broken fixtures, no resolution to the original issue, and the worst part is I prepaid for the work. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this plumber and would advise others to be cautious when considering his services.
