My A/C went out late Sunday night. I called Silver State and other companies to try to get an early Monday appointment. Silver State was the only company that could confirm the early appointment. Amber called me right before the appointment time to let me know they were on their way. Lou, my service technician, diagnosed the problem right away and had me up and running within 15 minutes, which is a huge relief when you know the high is going to be 105 degrees! Lou made some recommendations to me about future maintenance which I appreciated. I will definitely call Silver State again and would recommend their service.

Last week, my water heater burst. I contacted my home warranty company, and they set me up with 5 Star.

When I called to set up the appointment, the receptionist/dispatcher was very pleasant and professional. I was able to get on the schedule for the next day.

Garry was also very professional, and really seemed to know his work well. He took a look, and said right away that a replacement was needed. He also pointed out some items that were not up to code, and noticed some water damage that would not be covered under the home warranty, but could be addressed under our homeowners' policy.

He quoted out everything needed to bring everything up to code, and arranged for someone to come out regarding the water damage. He didn't have the right size water heather with him, or it would have been replaced immediately (he had the standard sizes in his truck, but ours was not standard for the size of our home).

The next day, the dispatcher called me, and gave me the info on the replacement and items needed to bring things needed to meet code. She also gave me the price, which was discounted for my birthday (today). She said that Garry would be back to install the new unit first thing this morning, and he was.

The connections on the new unit look a lot more legit than the old one. I can't wait to hit the shower!

All in all, a very pleasant experience!

I would give them a zero if it was an option. Terrible service, incompetent plumber who did not diagnose the correct problem for our leak and plumber was completely rude and disrespectful. Also, tried to take advantage of A senior citizen. Stay away from this company!

I was approached at Home Depot to have Yes! HVAC come to my house to tune-up my AC units.They called me mid day to inform the technician got tied up on another repair. I scheduled my day around these guys only for a no show. Very unprofessional, dispatch another guy, ask if he could come after hours, but no. Offered to come out in a week. I never understood that train of thought: we made a mistake so you go to the back of the line. No chance you ever get my business and I will tell anyone who listens not to use you. In fact I am giving up Home Depot for letting you solicit from their store.
