edit---- do not recommend, no interest in making things right with customers that were wronged. I even wrote the review below before the dispute was completely settled, in good faith. The dispute is still on going, the individual is going call tomorrow for the last couple of days.
Toilet flooded, Silver State Performed a job, toilet works now. Had a slight dispute over the charge after having done some research. The company made a reasonable agreement after the fact. Mistakes happen and honest apologies were made.

We absolutely love this company. In the last 3 years we have been fortunate enough to have sold a house and purchased a house. At both locations unfortunately we had the compressors completely fail. We had both replaced within a few days of the initial call! Both compressors and the coolant lines had to be replaced since the Freon is being phased out. Every visit we have had the technicians are extremely knowledgeable and everything works great!
I will never use this company again. I had a contract with them to come out twice a year. The guy came out. After he left, we had no heat on one side of our house. The company wanted to charge us a service call for him to come back. Amber hung up on me when I argued about the fee. I am so done with this company. Calling my warranty company. Now I have to pay their fee, but they will fix it. I found out silver states guy didn't secure the door on the furnace. It fell off and that's why we didn't have heat. I had to pay another company to fix their negligence. I want to be reimbursed.
An update. After getting a message through to the owner of Silver State, they did reimburse us for the money we had to pay to fix their technicians mistake. Our faith in Silver State has been restored.
The ONLY reason I gave them a 4 Star is so you would read this!
They definitely earned a 5 STAR and let me tell you why.
I'm a native to Las Vegas...many decades here.
It's difficult to find reliable people with integrity. I like their accessibility and they get stuff done!! They didn't nickle and dime me for everything. They did what they said they were going to do and did a quality job.
I worked with a different company since JULY (here we are Sept now), who was supposed to install an AC. They gave me such a run around. So I'm sitting with a client who recommends that I call these guys. Reluctantly, I did only because I was happy with the price of the other people and didn't want to start the process again. I'm glad I did.
Matt came out. Gave me a reasonable price and a better price. His install guys were out installing the next week...as soon as the unit came in. They were professional and did what it took to get my AC going that day. They had several guys stop by to bring tools or parts....the teamwork was amazing to watch. I had a great experience with them. I only refer a company to whom I had a great experience with. There is NO QUESTION these are my go to people when I refer my family, friends and clients for AC work.

My experience with Silverstate started with Carla at 5:00 AM. I called her and told her that I didn't have any hot water. She told me that she would call my area manager Tammy and Tammy would take care of my water heater. Tammy called and told me she would be sending Albert out first thing. Albert came out and explained what was wrong and what options I had. He was professional, polite and explained what he was doing so I could understand. The next challenge was my AC went out. It seems like when it rains it pours. I called Silverstate and Doug came out, evaluated the problem and took pictures and then explained my options. I opted for a new AC and asked how long it would take. The very next morning Roberto and Mike were at the house to install the new A/C. Again both were professional and polite. Cameron came by and made the changes to the panel box. All I could think of is How does Silverstate get all these super employees. I would tell anyone who needs a fantastic company to save yourself time and call Silverstate first.

Today I had James do a system maintenance on my unit. He did a thorough job and assured me everything is working perfectly. They will be back in a few months to do another maintenance check. I just had Silverstate replace my HVAC system. I could not be happier! From when Lou came to give me an estimate and explain the process, I never had any questions or concerns. Three gentlemen came and installed the unit in a matter of about four and a half hours. A drywall man came out to make the wall around the new unit match every bit of the rest of the hallway. I could not be happier!
GOOD SERVICE BUT BAD PRACTICE. ASK FOR PARTS THEY PURCHASED, THEY WONT GIVE IT TO YOU. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY RECEIPT. THEY MAKE MONEY ON THE PARTS, MORE THAN 100%. ASK BEFORE YOU LET THEM DO ANY SERVICE. NOT AFTER. YOU'LL GET BURNED.
Absolute great and speedy service they looked at my problem and gave me a fair estimate and quickly fixed my issue. I definitely plan on using them again.
I would avoid SilverState at all costs. I just paid $118 for an inspection on my two A/C units. The representative, Mark, quoted me something in the 3500 range for repairs to be performed on both units. Then I asked him what a new system would cost because my units are 11 years old. He said that each Maytag system would be $12,500. Since I have two units, that would be a total of $25,000 for two new Air conditioning units and two new furnaces. When I asked for the estimate to be emailed or written, he told me that I needed to speak with the manager. In the meantime, I googled best HVAC manufacturers. Maytag is not in the top 10. I also heard from another HVAC technician that previously worked for SilverState that the 12 year warranty that Maytag provides will be required because Maytag products require repairs often. But I called the office anyway on Monday to speak to the manager. The lady who answered the phone said the manager would call me back. I never heard back from anyone nor did I receive any emails with a new system estimate. In the end, I decided to purchase two new Carrier systems through Home Depot which uses Yes! Not only was the price much lower than what the SilverState rep quoted me, but Carrier was ranked #1 in the top 10 for HVAC manufacturers. Yes showed up the next day after I signed the contract to install the new AC units and new furnaces and they were done installing everything in about 3 hours.

Our A/C was struggling and booked an appt for that and general maintenance.Really quick to respond to us which is awesome.
Danny Neske came out and looked at our system. He was very straightforward and honest on everything we asked and what we can do with a system as old as ours. He gave us repair options and replacement options. Explanation was clear and easy to follow. Danny also had a great attitude the whole time which is certainly appreciated given how busy HVAC companies are right now.
Thank you Joe Fonseca for coming to check our water softner. Great guy and made sure we understood what was wrong and what need to be done, all in detail. Again, thank you very much.
Vince Massa is amazing one of the best service technician I have met. He is also so clear and honest about the work that is being done and has options as well. I never feel he is trying to up sell or rip me off, thank you sir for your work and your honesty. Everyone should be as lucky as me to have some one that is honest about repairs in today's world!

I had this company put a new unit on my house and they never bothered to replace the elbow going down into my house as it didnt match up properly with the opening in the unit itself. So the gaping holes were concealed by the frame the unit sat on. the frame had 4 long oval shaped holes that leaked my cool air out and also pulled in direct summer heat.so for 5 YEARS of them coming out and servicing the unit they never caught it or noticed it. i had to go on my roof myself to try to insulate the elbow to increase my efficiency (because i THOUGHT that was the problem). that's when i discovered all my cold air blowing directly outside to the freaking pigeons, and all the dirty hot desert air being drawn in. These ametures actually had the nerve to try and say it was my fault for not finding the issue sooner. this company is incompetent.
I have done business with Silverstate for more than 6 years, so I have have a great deal of experience dealing with their customer service. It is excellent.

We had our home repaired with Silver State Plumbing. I can't say enough about Nate and Jason. They kept us informed about what they were doing. They were very polite and professional the whole time they were here in our home. I wish more businesses had employees like them. Out of a score of 1-10, I would give them a 12. I had a tankless water heater installed, and the recirculating pump was causing vibrating noises every 30 minutes. Elvis came and checked the system and offered to change the location to an exterior wall in the garage. Hopefully, this will eliminate the noise. I'm happy that Elvis offered a remedy to this problem. Once the system is changed to an exterior wall, I will post comments again.
Just had my a/c system checked by Silver State HVAC. They sent 2 engineers - Sean and James. Both were professional, smart and friendly. They gave me good advice about my system and didn't try to up-sell me unnecessary items or service. Silver State is a great company to do business with, from the people in the office to their field engineers, installers and repair teams. Sean and James are great representatives of Silver State and it's a pleasure doing business with them.
I was looking for some information concerning whether to repair or replace the water softener system in a home I recently bought in Las Vegas. I spoke to some very nice people at Silver State and a very knowledgeable and helpful man named James came to my home and took a look at my water situation. He tested the water quality in my home, analyzed the equipment I had and made some suggestions on what he recommended. James also gave me some handy tips on how to prevent future problems. Due to my budget restrictions, I was not able purchase the system from him at this time. However, he so much impressed me with his positive attitude and professionalism that I have saved his business card and will call this company in the future should I need any plumbing, AC, or heating services. This representative of the company really makes me believe it is a very honest and reliable business to deal with. A good attitude makes all the difference!

Overall had an awesome experience, put in my request for service and was sent a tech within the hour! Vince my service tech was awesome took really good care of me.He answered all my questions accurately and was straight forward with his assessment and helped me all the way through why my whole system needed to be replaced. Matt my installer came out next day and got the job done efficiently and was polite as well as professional, answered all my questions and walked me through my new AC system features and functions. Massive RIP OFF! Began saying my unit was beyond repair, worked down and ripped me off for $2500 for a repair according to the receipt that should have been under $600. Problem, according to a different company tech the real repair was worth less then $300! BEWARE seniors, they’ll prey on you! Bill
This is now the second time in the last two weeks that this team has come to my aid.
The first experience was with Taylor and his apprentice who came to inspect a leak we discovered from an earlier job the previous owner had used them for. They were quick, courteous, professional and did a top shelf job to set us up for success.
The second experience we reached out and requested Taylor, but learned he was unavailable when Michael (and his apprentice Joe) came to our aid.
We have a home built prior to 1980 and to have a water softener installed, required a custom build job. Without skipping a beat Mike explained how he was going to do the task required and knocked it out of the park. In addition to our water softener, he educated us about the benefits of a flow regulator and took care of our reverse osmosis water filtration system to boot!
Without question, if you have a need for a plumber, this is the company to call

While our house was actively flooding from a main line break from our well, and other companies wanted to take 3 days to a week to fix the broken line, Silver State arrived within 45 minutes, worked late and properly fixed the broken pipe. Our shower valve broke and saw they had great reviews so I called them. The CS rep on the phone was so professional and courteous. They were at my house within an hour. Sean, arrived on time and diagnosed my ac issue. He explained the repair and after approval had my ac up and running. Contacted Silver state to get a quote on a sump pump. Matthew and his colleague were patient, polite, professional, respectful, extremely knowledgeable and very matter of fact. While at our home, he uncovered faulty / defective pipes and stated that the manufacturer of these pipes had been involved in a class action lawsuit - we have had numerous plumbers come through our home in the time we’ve lived here and none brought up the potential severity of the situation with us. Matthew took the time to show me the defect(s), went through and showed me the class action lawsuit, and wrote up a very detailed work order and went through it with me line by line. I hugely appreciate the honesty, integrity and the time Matthew spent explaining everything to me. I would recommend Silver State, and especially Matthew for any of your plumbing needs

Two techs showed up for a simple job; gurgling in tub drain when toliet is flushed. Tech said he would have to pull toliet and send camera through drain to see if there is a possible solution if not more work might be required at a higher price than the 1500 quoted. He then asked if he could look in sewer line , so we went out front to locate it and he said he could't find it maybe the pavers are covering it, he didn't take the time to try and look under loose rocks as I explained to him that's where it could be, he said well sending the camera through the pipes will locate it, hence another reason to justify the 1500 dollar price tag; I asked him if the company had a machine to located a water pipe he said no never heard of that. I told him that is how they located a water leak in my foundation , 2 feet deep, in a house I owned in Az 20 years ago. He indicated he never heard of such a thing. He left, I googled the symptoms and found that running hot water down the bathroom sinks, toilet and bathtub with Dawn dishwater liquid...Believe it or not it worked!!!
Sounds like an Elderly Scam to me.
I've had work done before by this company, they were very respectful and professional, don't know if this tech is new and trying something stupid or the company has taken a risky move.

Nothing but great things about this company. Lou inspected my ac units, educated me about the ac units, and discussed my options. I felt no pressure from him like I did from other company’s. Pricing was great for the units. On the date of install, the ac warehouse did not have my units. They did do a free upgrade to a better units, with no increase in pricing. The crew was professional and respected my house. Give them a call and ask for Lou.

Having just moved here from out of state, we were in desperate need of a good and reasonable plumber. We ended up choosing Silver State due to the good reviews and especially because of Walter. He had done some work for a neighbor and came highly recommended. Walter was sympathetic to our situation and was able to work with us on different options. I chose Silver State Plumbing because they installed my last water heater and I didn’t have any better recommendations to go with. I’m extremely happy with their service. My water heater was past its warranty and was leaking beyond repair(but not to the point of flooding). I called them at 6pm and their after hours service took my info. Twenty minutes later I got a call and they said they could send someone out the next day when I got home from work. They gave me a window of 4-7pm and actually arrived 4:15. Walter was very courteous and explained all of my options. I said I was thinking of getting a water softener system as well and he gave me quotes for several different combo systems. I chose a mid-range option and ended up getting a very generous discount after Walter spoke with his supervisor. Walter said he could go pick up and install the water heater that night, but the softener would have to be installed the next day. Taylor arrived to assist him with installation and he was equally well mannered. They stayed that night until everything was running perfectly.
Taylor returned the next day (my day off) and installed the entire water softener system by himself because there were no other technicians available to help. He was there for many hours getting everything just right. I was very impressed with his diligence and accountability.
The next day there was a noticeable leak from the new piping, a solder joint that had a pinhole. I called Silver State and they again got right back to me and scheduled a tech for the next day to re-solder the joint and everything has been perfect since.
I will definitely call Silver State the next time I need any kind of service they provide. Kudos Silver State Plumbing!

Called on a Saturday to ask about someone coming out to use the camera scope to find what was blocking my tub drain (it won't drain). Was quoted over the phone $89, and told the supervisor was the only one who could do it and they would set up the visit with them. Monday, a plumber from Silver State showed up (NOT the supervisor as I was told would be here), told my husband who was home that it would be $400! The plumber, after being told what we were quoted, called his office (who previously told me $89) and told him I was never quoted a price! They then proceeded to have my husband pay $25 for them to send out the wrong person who couldn't do the job and be called a liar. I will also be filing a report with the BBB about this.
Two service providers pulled up and everything was maybe or no the situation changed during the investigation of leak. In the end no work scheduled or done due to uncertainty of the product or personal available. 24/7 was a misinformation 25 dollars spend on lip service.

After scheduling a simple rough in valve replacement (all plumbing exposed easy access should take 30-45 mins at most) they gave me a time frame between 10am - 1pm as of 2:30 pm no word and it may be another hour.. I cant wait around all day for a company to finally decide to show up hours after the agreed time frame. If you want prompt service DO NOT USE This company or you will be waiting around all day. If your not going to make the time frame call me and tell me.

Worst customer service ever! I would give them zero stars if I could. We purchased a brand new unit from them in 2014 for $5,000. Less than a year later the pump went out and so we had it replaced. Now less than a year later again the same pump went out. Not sure if they used refurbished parts or just generic cheap parts but I asked Dan the owner if we should have to pay for a pump every year and he said yes!!

Been using Silverstare for 6 years and the have always been there when I needed them. The last service call the technician diagnosed the problem made sure I had heat and cameback Monday morning after getting the part.

My first review was these guys were great.
After leaving, I realized the hooked up the cold to the hot and the hot to the cold. I called to have them come fix it and it was 4 days.
For the price I paid, I would think I would get a faster turn around.
I had to call someone else to fix it.
I called and asked for a manager to call me and crickets

I give this business 5 stars only because of Chris Cody. My water softener blew on a Saturday & we could not shut the water off to the unit. I called Silver State Plumbing. They came out Sunday morning. Michael came out, removed the unit, & repaired the piping. He also said we need a new pressure valve. We scheduled to have that done on Monday. On Monday a different tech came out & installed the valve. After he left we realized we had no water pressure at all. I called Silver State again. This time they sent Chris Cody. He discovered the valve was never adjusted. He took care of it. He checked every faucet & toilet to be sure everything was working properly
We purchased a new water softener & Silver State was going to install it for us. Michael came to install it. He did a horrible job. It leaked & it looked like I did it myself! Not a professional job at all. We called & asked for Chris to come back out. He totally redid everything. He went above & beyond & we couldn’t be happier with the job he did.
If I need plumbing service in the future, I will call silver state & request Chris. I hope he never leaves them.
I’d also like to add that the people that take the calls are also extremely professional & helpful & make sure any issues are resolved in a timely manner. They made me feel my concerns were very urgent & important.

Sean came out this evening because my AC was not working. He determined that it was a power issue not a problem with the unit. After he checked what he could outside he went up into the attic to check the fuse there. While he was working up there he discovered the problem. A couple of geniuses from Ion Solar and the City of LV did an inspection today so I can get my solar power hooked up. They were in the attic and shut off power switch to the AC and air handker. He flipped the switch and we were in business. So grateful he kept searching until he found the problem. Highly recommended Silver State HVAC and especially Sean.

What can I say that everyone else hasn't said already? Mike and Matt are amazing, the loyalty, commitment and honesty that they possess are beyond words. I've never experienced workers with so much knowledge and love for the job in a very long time. Matt and Mike explained and showed us what needed to be done and were adamant in making sure that they left us with nothing to worry about. This world would be a much better place if everyone worked as hard as these two. I was truly blessed that these guys are the ones that ended up on my doorstep. I believe Mike and Matt are a great asset to the company...and community.

I just had my yearly ac service done by David Adams and I am very pleased. He checked the unit for any problems and cleaned it, showing me before and after photos. He was very professional and he even changed my washable filter and cleaned it for me. Great experience.

Danny was our tech today for our A/C system maintenance. He was amazing. He arrived early and got to work right away. He explained in detail everything that he was doing as he went along. Danny was very professional and explained everything fully. I feel bad that our water spout was quite a distance away, so his hose wasn't long enough, so he had to fill a bucket with water to clean the coils. He also made recommendations on changing out our vent filter monthly since we burn incense and candles quite often. He also recommended the membership plan and went over what's all included. We will definitely look at adding the membership at a later time. Overall, I'm glad that we were referred by my parents to have Silver State come out for our maintenance and look forward to having you guy's come out for future services. Hopefully we'll get Danny again!

The absolute worst! I scheduled with them for Friday. They gave me a 3 hour window, 3-6pm. Originally I had appreciated them working me in same day. They did not call to say they were running behind their 3 hour window. They left me a voicemail at 6:15pm saying they were really busy and hoping they could reschedule me. I called back right away and got an answering service. They did not call me back until 8:23 p.m. I called this morning, and the young, non-customer service chick they have answering their phones wanted to argue with me that they had not canceled my appointment yesterday, but rather that I did not answer my phone (so it was my fault), and she then hung up on me! They never showed to the appointment; obviously could not make the appointment time; didn't bother calling before the window ended to give me ETA, or ask appropriately to reschedule. I would NEVER recommend this company, and their loss- I actually have to completely replace my air conditioner, so I will give my thousands $$$$ to a business that actually knows how to run things.

Vince from Silverstate came by to check out a rental house that we were supposed to have moved into on the first. We haven't been able to because the AC wasn't working and we have a baby. He called ahead to let us know he was on his way. He showed up on time and was polite and friendly. He checked out each section of the system and explained that the system needed replacing, which we had heard from another Technician from another company, who had been subsequently jerking us around. Vince was very thorough and honest, and didn't leave us guessing. Highly professional and refreshingly honest. We would recommend Silverstate based on his customer service alone.

Technician caused water damage. They did nothing about except quote me a $550 repair.
On Sunday June 4 in the late afternoon my 23 year old heat pump gave out. I called Sliver State Refrigeration Repair and within an hour Vince showed up to diagnose the problem the problem that the condenser fan motor was shot. He explained to me that he could replace it but that there might be other problems with it also ,but would not be able to tell until a new motor was installed. He also explained to me about the R 22 Freon which will be discontinued in 2020. After weighing the cost to replace the fan, and the fact of R 22 Freon not being available after 2020 I decided to get a new unit. Hated to spend the cost for a new unit but thought it would be the wisest thing to do. He called the company and they had it set up to install between 8 and 10 the following day.
On Monday June 5th there they were at 8.15 in the morning Roberto and his helper. They finished the job around 11.45 in the morning. I to would like thank Roberto and his helper, and also Sliver State for the outstanding job that they did, and for the prompt service they provided. the unit that they installed was a Maytag Heat Pump which runs so much quieter, and cools much better than my old one. My only hope is that I get the same 23 trouble free service from this compared to the one I replaced.

Amazing customer service! After calling several places to help with an air conditioning unit that went out Silverstate was quick to help and had our unit up and running. Everyone was knowledgeable and polite. We’ve had them do yearly maintenance checks on our furnace and cooling systems and they are always on time and very professional! We highly recommend them!

I have been blown away my the customer service at this company. AC’s and their units can be tricky in Vegas. When something goes wrong in the summer heat, it can be devastating; when you have a 2 year old, that’s the first concern. I contacted this company with a huge concern and they arrived early. Their employees are not only professional, but honest people that really want to help. 10/10.
I had a tech come to my home who was very polite, patient and when above and beyond and answered all my questions. I think I will be using this company for quite a while.

Our home warranty company sent out another company and after almost two weeks without A/C couldn't diagnose the issue. We finally gave up on the warranty company and called Silverstate as recommended by a friend. Doug was very knowledgeable, he had our issues diagnosed and fixed in less than an hour. Called for an HVAC problem . I have 1 unit with dual zones. Advised that the damper motor has been replaced before so I know what the issue was. Juan checked everything BUT the damper motor!! He then advised that the $25 service charge would go up to $69-$89 because he was spending too much time to diagnose the problem. But he COULDN'T tell me what the problem was!! He then said well I could replace the motor @$400 but if it isn't the problem then it could be the pc board @$1500. I threw him out of my house!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! They will upsell you for everything but your problem!!

I’m giving 5 stars for my review. The reason I called this company because I received a high water bill and the water district said we have a leak. So i called Tuesday and the next day Jordan the tech showed up on time. First, he checked the possible leak in the house and found nothing and then he explained to me what to do next. So I payed only $25 which is the service fee as advertised. Thanks for the great service.
This business is unprofessional at best. We called to inquire if they service water softeners and they informed us that they did, and that a diagnostic would start at $25. We excitedly scheduled an appointment with them hoping to get our softener fixed. The technician arrived and instantaneously informed us that since their company did not do the water softener install, so they would not diagnose or repair it. The tech, Chavis K, then refused to leave the property without collecting the $25 fee, after refusing to perform a diagnosis. Feeling uncomfortable, my partner paid the man in cash. After calling the company back, they refuse to refund the fee. We have owned our home for 10 years and had many repair companies on the property. This was the absolute worst experience we have had in ten years. I can only IMAGINE the money they are STEALING from unsuspecting customers. This company also does not provide any physical evidence of their transactions. Should have just refused to pay and call the police. Please, reconsider your choice if you are thinking in investing in this company, in any way. Also, I never write reviews. I am in total disbelief... ZERO STARS.

Very dishonest and deceiving. Instead of getting down to the issue I was having with my water softener they told me I needed to get rid off my new water softener (that isn’t even a year old ). They charged me the service fee of $25 for coming out and tried to sell me a brand new 3k worth water softener from their company ! When I hired another company the next day it turned out I was having a minor issue that needed a small fix!
We had a major main water leak that resulted in a complete water line replacement & repair. Taylor, Lead Plumber, Nate, Apprentice, & their Supervisor, Jordan, all did an exceptional job. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts! Tricia Myers & Vickie Cole

Juan was the tech who came out and replaced our thermostat. He was quick and friendly. He also suggested a maintenance program to help with preventative maintenance of our HVAC and plumbing. We would 100% recommend this company.
Excellent service from the office staff and field employees, Walter and Joe. They both were extremely conscientious, polite, knowledgeable, neat, friendly, and thorough. I cannot praise them enough. They will always be my go to guys.
Received a spam text out of nowhere from this company today and all our phones are on the Do Not Call list. Therefore this company clearly doesn’t follow any legal procedures in their business. We will be providing our experience with everyone possible and report this company for their poor and illegal marketing practices. All should be warned about bad companies doing bad things. There’s plenty of companies that do what they do here in the Vegas valley so there’s no reason to support one that does illegal things.

The original review was 5 Stars (see below). Our last visit for AC annual check up was disappointing. Our favorite tech, Willie, no longer works for Silver State. Also, it seems they have owner/management change part of which seems to be to have turned their technicians into salespeople. The new guy spent more time talking about their new club to join to save money on system checks, which apparently are in line for a big price increase. He also only did a portion of what Willie did. I will be looking for someone else to do the check-ups next year. (sad face)
(Old 5 Star Review) We have been using Silver State for preventive maintenance service on our home HVAC for about a year. They've been responsive and their prices are very reasonable. Our last check on our air conditioner a few days ago was done by Willie who is just a great guy. In fact, I made him promise not to retire anytime soon. We will definitely call Silver State in the Fall to check the furnace and we will be asking for Willie!
We had an emergency at our house: The toilets were clogged. I called up Silver State plumbing and expected to hear that the would come out sometime later in the day, or the next day, but they actually said they would come out in 45 minutes. I couldn't believe it! I said that's great! The technician actually arrived in less than a half an hour.
I can't remember, but I think his name was Ricky. Ricky went outside and discovered the problem in about 2 minutes. He got some tools out of the truck as well as a snake machine. In 10 minutes he cleared a clog and we could see the water drain quickly.
My wife and I couldn't believe it. From the time of our call to saying goodbye to Ricky was only about an hour. I'm writing this about a week later and still no problems.
I would recommend Silver State Plumbing for any plumbing problems you might have.

Although my review is late im still upset about my service call and if I can stop one person from calling them it's worth it. My problem was a clogged kitchen sink. If I would've waited a little longer the chemicals I put in my sink would've worked. Tech came in my house without his tool bag, filled my sink up with water ran the disposal. Chemicals worked and instead of charging me $25 for service call charged me over $200 said thank you and left. Couldn't even tell me about any kind of warranty. Said he thought 3 months. I contacted Silver State Plumbing due to a running/leaking toilet in my powder room. The customer service was excellent with providing prompt service.
Silver State rapidly sent out a tech to resolve my plumbing issues. Silver State sent Henry Daniels and Joe which were professional, pleasant and prompt. They assessed my issues and provided a resolution instead of giving me a quick fix and a band-aid repair. Henry & Joe went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and satisfied with their recommendations and repairs. These gentlemen know their business and this dynamic duo worked together like a well oiled machine until the very end. I was ecstatic and very pleased with them both, these guys are AMAZING!!! Silver State is the way to go!!

Love Silver State! Lou and Danny are the greatest at their jobs! Never disappointed in their work. Today, the other half of the service team was at my house installing a new a/c and furnace unit. These guys were fantastic too. Appears they did a great job. Have lived in this house almost 25 years and have now gone thru 2 a/c and furnace units. What these guys did by opening up the duct work (which apparently wasn't done correctly 25 years ago when house was built) is already making a difference. I can actually feel air coming out of the vents. The unit should not have to work as hard to cool or heat the house. That sounds to me like this new unit and them properly opening up the duct work means a cost savings on our gas bill. Woohoo! Keep up the good work, guys. Have been with your company several years now and do not plan on changing any time in the near future!
I can't give enough positive comments about Silver State, in particular Vince, After my annual checkup I was told that I needed a compressor after paying $900.00. My compressor was still under warranty so I called Silver State. I was fortunate to have Vince come to my home and after a through inspection and a look at the schematics for the wiring that the original tech did he realized that it was not wired properly!! He corrected the problem and I have air conditioning. I will never use another air conditioning company and hopefully will have Vince come back to my house.

I was having issues with my water heater on a 5-year old home. I called the company(RSP) that installed the unit when the home was built, and they referred me to Silver State Plumbing stating they only handle issues for homes in warranty, and that Silver State handles all non-warranty issues. I called Silver State, and I explained to dispatch that I had a constant drip out of the pressure-relief line, and also had no hot water.
The plumber made it out the same afternoon, but was only prepared to handle the drip which he fixed. He was caught off guard by the other issue of no hot water and said he would have to return the next day. The next day he was a no-show because of another job taking longer than expected. I was pushed to Saturday morning, but by 4:00pm I still hadn't heard anything so I called dispatch and was told the plumber had quit the company and they had no one else that could help me until Monday. The dispatch worker was very nice and apologetic, but I told her I would look for a different company. The new company was out first thing Monday morning and showed me that my water heater was still under warranty, so all I had to pay was labor. This wasn't offered at all by Silver State.

Update: Turns out along with this new AC unit I also received 2 years worth of maintenance; AC and Plumbing. Problem is, not a single technician, sales person OR office worker told me this. It would have been AMAZING to know. When did I find out? Last month when it ran out and they wanted me to renew! Are you kidding me?!?! I didnt even know I had it! I'm so irritated with this company. What a joke! I will never use them again.

Literally refused to install my Air Conditioner. They only install their brands--not because of liability, but because they get a cut of the ludicrous prices they mark up. Companies that hide deals like these are inherently dishonest, and they really only hurt themselves by letting competition get all the jobs. Look for an independent licensed contractor, because these people don't really serve Las Vegas.

They repaired my A/C . Their technician Danny was great. He diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes. He had the part on his truck and replaced it. .My system was up and running in no time. They did not try to sell me a new unit and I would definitely use them again.

I booked an appointment for them to service my AC unit. I lost work being stuck at home waiting for their 4 hour window and the technician never showed up. Completely lost the day and now I have to lose another day waiting for a different company to come.
They also broke the valve for the water heater on purpo!! My husband caught him Nicholas .he called someone else to fix cause he was busted and told us the 4 valves we needed to change were 350$ each!! Lol got another plumber and the valves 20$ each and of course labor silver state SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!!!

He made sure that everything was fixed and had to troubleshoot multiple issues with our very difficult unit. He checked in multiple times to make sure things were good & cared about our unit being repaired same day so we had a comfortable night of sleep. Professional and Timely! I was contacted by Cori to schedule an annual maintenance of our heater system in early October. A few days prior to the appointment Jessica followed up with a call to confirm the arrival time and on the day of the appointment I was contacted 30 min before arrival. The tech, Daniel, was very profession and appeared to be thorough with his testing.
From this interaction with this company, I would recommend Silver State Refrigeration and HVAC. They exceeded every expectation when it came to communicating with you on service needs, reminders, and in-route notifications so that you are sitting around waiting hours on end. And, their pricing for the service is reasonable and affordable.

Good service, but really expensive. I had a kitchen faucet and two check valves replaced, and I furnished all the replacement parts. It was about an hour and 15 minutes of work and they charged $520. Also, the cost estimate ($25) was supposed to be deducted from the bill, but it was not. The technician did an excellent job, but way overpriced.
James was quick at cleaning my system and professional.
We’ve used Silver State to install a new system 2years ago, as well as, system upkeep. They’ve always been professional, prompt, and efficient. I can’t recommend them high enough!!!

Robert and David were here four hours cleaning the ducks for us and were excellent, the installers were wonderful and so friendly,,, if there was a six star rating I would give them that, everyone showed upon time with no problems,,,don’t hesitate to have them do your work if you need air conditioning done,

My AC stopped working and Vince was out in less than 2 hours. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. I will be recommending silver state to everyone.
I also had Art from their plumbing out to give a quote on adding a water line for our refrigerator. He also came in less than 2 hours. We ended up getting a whole house filtration system plus a water line. Art was very knowledgeable and didn't pressure us, just gave great advice.

The absolut best in town
Mike & Nate came out and took care of several issues I had around my house. Replaced both valves for my washing machine, unclogged a couple of toilets! Both Mike & Nate we’re friendly and professional and got the job done quickly. Highly recommend.
Either there are a lot of fake reviews of this company or I got a bad tech.
1. Tech called twice stating he 'lived nearby' but couldn't fund my place. He acted dumb when I suggested using google maps.
2. Arrived an hour later. He said it was ok, as he was 'on time' as far as the office knew.
3. He forcefully removed the inside unit cover- tearing the wall around it.
4. He didn't know how to get to the unit on the roof, I had to show him. Was this a trainee?
5. He looked at the unit for about 2 minutes, then came down and said I need to call for a replacement estimate.
I asked what was wrong with the unit and the tech stated 'it was old' and that it 'ran backwards'. No further info was provided.
6. As a final blow- he charged me a service fee. This would be ok- but they were advertising 'free quotes for new units'. Why did I have to pay to be told 'it's old, buy a new one'?
7. There was no follow up from Silverstate at all. A competitor fixed the unit the next day for around $150, explained what was wrong and stated Silverstate clearly didn't know what they were doing or were trying to make money insisting on replacements.

I'm a self taught do it your self and through experience I have saved 60 to 70 percent. Part was a little high but labor was supposedly waived. I probably could have got part cheaper but time was a factor. Overall happy and will use again give five stars. Thanks again for your help.

A/C went out on a sunday inside temps reaching close to 90. They were quick to have some one out here and he opened the service panel and instantly saw that the capacitor had blown replaced it and had A/C within 15 min of him arriving!!! Definitely recommend this place and only place I will call from now on!!!
I had an emergency A/C problem and called Silver State Air on a Saturday and they had a tech at my house within an hour. The techs name was Doug and he went above and beyond the call of duty. He didn't have the parts on his truck so he went and got me a temporary A/C unit to hold me until today Monday. He just left and all is nice and cool and I can only say that if you call anyone else you are wasting your time. Thank you Silver State
They showed up when scheduled to.They were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable. They explained what they were going to do and what I could expect. When the crane and installation guy came the next day, they were right on time, stayed on task, and cleaned up after themselves! Very professional and I would hire them again without any hesitation!

David, Anton, and Lou worked diligently for 3 hours into the evening (8pm) to get our a/c up and running in time for the burst of heat expected this weekend. They explained what was done and powered up the unit to make sure it worked. They reassured me that someone will be by tomorrow to check on it for leaks and that it is still running. I have been using Silverstate 2x a year for maintenance services on my unit. They are good about keeping me up to date on my appointments and the technicians are very professional. The office staff is very nice whenever I talk with them. Will definitely be referring to Silverstate to friends and family.

Had Technician Sean An come by to do a check up on my system. Very professional and cool guy! Gave me a lot of info on our units and was very helpful.
I have more words than I am willing to type here. Long and short is that Silver State Plumbing is jacked up. They have a lot of good plumbers, but whoever is runing the show, coordinates, and communicates on bigger jobs just fails.
$4000 to replace old pipes that were back grading and causing consistant clogging and backup of kitchen sink. 6 months later, 6 + different plumbers, and hours of sitting at the house waiting for the plumber to show up, multiple wet floors... still trying to get it fixed.
This week, payed another pumber to inspect work and give second opinion since we are backing up again. He found that the pipes had started to sag and grading is off again and that silver state should warranty thier work.
Contacted silver state, they replace pipe again on tuesday. Wendeseday come home to a flooded landry room. Thurs silver state back out, they look at pipe, have bunch of ideas, ask us not to run dishwasher or laundy and will be back Friday to Hydrosnake the lines. Friday, new plumber shows up, no idea what is going on or that this is a reoccuring issue, spends half his time here talking to his manager to get a grasp, and then snakes line again.
Think if I send Silver State and invoice for the hours and hours I've spent baby sitting, following up, cleaning up, and waiting on them they will pay me thier hourly rate?

I've been using SilverState for several years now. I have always had great service from them, both the office and field staff. I think they have a great balance of what you would expect between great service from a smaller company but also the knowledge and resources of a much larger company. I tried three times to contact them but they never responded. I saw their commercial on TV and I wanted to have my system receive regular maintenance. I don't know why companies advertise and don't bother to take your business, seems like a waste of time.
I used their website first, clicked on the coupon and entered my information. I received an email confirmation that someone would contact me but no one did. After 4 days I responded to the email and asked for someone to contact me. Once again nothing. Last night after 7 days I called, got their answering service. They took down my information and said a tech would contact me shortly, nothing happened.
Today I gave up and called another company I found on Google with good ratings. Actually their tune up price was $10 cheaper. They are coming out tomorrow morning. BEST Air Conditioning Plumbing Repair.
I hope you guys have better luck with this company but if your time is valuable maybe just pick someone that answers the phone or emails and really does something. LOL

We had a power surge last Monday that wiped out both AC units and a bunch of other things.Called Silver State because we replaced our larger unit two years ago for 14,000 dollars. At that time we were told when the smaller unit goes it would be 9,000 dollars to replace it. We called on Tuesday and they had someone there that afternoon, was told the control board and a transformer went on the older unit, and the control board on the newer unit.At that time we agreed to have the older unit replaced, price was now 10,700 dollars, but we were told that was with a veterans discount and the newer unit would be repaired under warranty. They scheduled the replacement for Saturday, but didn’t send anyone to fix the bigger unit, so now we have zero AC , Saturday the installers tried to fix the bigger unit, they determined the compressor fan was bad, no fan in stock they ordered one Monday from L.A. Tech said he would keep us informed, crickets! We tried to get somebody out to replace the fan, were then told the labor on the big unit was not covered and we had to agree to another 135 dollars to “ move forward” we had been without our main AC now for a week. Tech told us on Tuesday he had the fan in his truck but was working on a repair and would put us in the schedule! Wondered what they called our problem? Well today is Weds. and the unit was finally working after the fan and thermostat were replaced. After spending 25,000 dollars in two years we thought we might have got a little better response and been told upfront that labor was not covered on the warranty work. The new unit was actually 10,780, when I was told 10,700. So when doing business you better ask all the right questions.

Vince our technician was outstanding! He fixed our AC when it wasn't cooling. He didn't just fixed the surface but targeted the root of the problem. He was super easy to get in touch with. Our other hvac company was just the complete opposite. So happy I called Silver State. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!
Mike and Nate come out and fixed our shower drain that caused damage. They helped us get Quick Dry out to our house on the same day (a SUNDAY) to get access to the leak. Mike and Nate finished the project within 24 hours! They arrived within the hour of when I first called Silver State Plumbing on a Sunday. And then they finished the job Monday morning. They cleaned up everything perfectly and arrived when we expected them. Mike explained everything involved with our plumbing issue and answered all of our questions. I called Silver Fox and they were prompt. They said that my problem was a fan motor and that they had one in the truck. The motor they had was with four screws. My unit has three. This is obvious from the top of the unit. We waited for another day. They said they would be here at 9 AM and were here at about a quarter to ten. After installing the motor they said that it was probably another problem. A circuit board. Although they were sure that my problem would be fixed by a motor it was now another problem... and this MIGHT fix the problem. I am now in the middle of having the work done. It has been two days. They really don't seem to have it together. I hope that I get this fixed. It is not fixed now nor does there seem to be an end in sight. I will probably not use these guys again. Nice boys. But they do not seem to be to do complex tasks. This was all to take one hour.

Made an appointment to have our faucet replaced and what a nightmare! They said the appointment would be sometime between 2pm to 5pm. I was working so my dad had to COME HOME FROM WORK to be here for them. Once he was already home they called at 3:00pm and said that they would be running a little bit late. So, my dad came home for work for no reason. Finally had to call the office back at 6:15pm to figure out where the technician was and why they had not showed up or called. The technician finally called and said that he would still be ANOTHER 30-45 mins before arrival. The gentleman finally arrived at 7:15pm. The technicians did an okay job, but if you are looking for a company that will be on time, this is definitely not the place to call.

Amber called me right before the appointment time to let me know they were on their way. I had a very unusual connection with a water leak. I attempted to stop-gap repair the leak and made the connection worse.
First call on a Saturday night at 6:00 PM and Mike shows up on time in less than 90 minutes. In the dark, he's able to diagnose the repair quickly. He then is able to tell me about other water issues that I know are happening around the house because of this connection. I wanted to continue the actual repair in the morning and again, Mike showed up at our scheduled time and completed the repair in under half an hour.
I'm blown away by the professionalism and service offered here. I do a lot of research beforehand on pricing and labor and base my trust off of the initial estimate. I don't like to haggle and want the proper price the first time. Silver State's prices are exactly fair and competitive, and the quality of the work puts them above any other plumbing company.

We had a broken supply valve under the sink that was connected to an angle stop. Juan and Nate showed up within an hour of calling Silver State Plumbing on a Saturday morning and had the issue fixed.
We paid $198 for the whole repair, which wIll be reimbursed through home insurance. Juan spoke to the home insurance company while on site for repair approval BEFORE doing the job. Couldn’t be happier with how the entire ordeal was handled.
What an amazing company.

I spoke with Technician Gabriel Fychok from the LA Area he’s great at his job only that he’s a self proclaimed Slave owner and that he owns the company, he told me that I have dusty knees as well
I called them for a toilet valve fix, I was told it was going to be $130 including their driving time 30 mins and service time 30 mins, if it takes longer it will cost extra. (They have my address so they know how long the drive will take). They came out and fixed the valve in 15-20 mins and left the site, but the bill came out to be about $200. I called back regarding the price difference, they said they'll look into it get back to me, which I never heard back. I called again why I didn't get an email I was promised, they said they were too busy and that I will hear back from them the same day. Haven't heard back for a week, and I filed for an amount adjustment with my credit card company to the amount what I was told. A few days later I call a call from a CS lady that was extremely rude. She basically said I never said that, why is everyone okay with our pricing but not you and she starts making things up (lies). And she goes on and casually tells me That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard and I can hear her co-workers cracking up next to her. I decided not to lower myself to her level so I just hung up. What do you benefit from trying to argue and insult your customer? Anyways, that was probably the worst customer service rep I talked to in 40 years. I feel sorry for the owners of the company. Advice to management - please revisit your hiring SOP so you can filter these bad ones out.

These folks are incompetent, un honest, confused, mis leading and definitely not timely! I’m a residential property manager but we have 1 commercial office in our portfolio! In April we needed help with an AC that went down so we asked Silver State to go out and help us fix it. It took them 4 days to get out there after multiple empty promises. They claimed an air filter and a loose belt caused this and charged me over $500 to fix the problem which we agreed and paid to resolve the matter. The following morning we received a call from our tenants claiming AC still doesn’t work so we called Silver State to come back out. This time it took 3 days for them to come back out and it took 6 days to obtain a quote after me constantly haggling them which was frustrating and upsetting because the entire time my tenants were suffering. The quote finally came in at $5500, apparently we needed to replace the unit! WOW!! This is where I turned to my residential AC guy, he came out same day and noticed problem with thermostat, he replaced it and the issue was resolved a month ago for $100!! Can you believe that?? I waited 2 weeks before calling back Silver State to make sure that was the issue. I finally called Silver State explaining what happen and some guy that was part of management said he apologizes and offered to refund half of the $500 plus that was collected. I wanted a full refund he claimed a technician had to go out there and apparently this is one of their best technicians. That’s very scary….regardless at this point I agreed to the refund just so I can move on. However, refund never came and he stop replying to my messages or returning my phone calls. This is what happens when you call Silver State, its not acceptable and now I have WARNED you!

Had the best experience with Silverstate! First off I was told someone would be by my home from 1-3pm. I had a tech knocking on my door at 12:45! Super fast service! Nick, the senior technician was super friendly and very professional. His mission was clear.... to make his clients happy and he did more than that! He was very knowledgably of AC units. He took one look at it and knew exactly what the issue was, fixed it and was in and out within 10 minutes.... Will for sure use this place in the future!!
I try to stay positive & don't always review all businesses. I was expecting a tech between 12:30 pm & 3 pm. They arrived early. Great! I was shocked. Down hill from that point on. They were pleasant & wore masks. I ended up paying $125 for a fill valve replacement. $25 for the service fee. They (Juan) played on his iPhone & his iPad for the next few hours. I showed him the leak & he spent 6 minutes replacing it with MY brand new parts.
There was another personal issue which is confidential but no one that I employ will ever bark or text me orders. Not Juan, not anyone, EVER.
I would never refer this company to anyone, ever! I hate upsells & despise the trades game

Excellent installation. Works great. Just had a Maitenance service and all in specks. I've used a couple of other area companies for equipment check ups and have been underwhelmed with their technicians. Silver state left nothing out. Friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough.

Tech Danny was very professional! He did his job and maintained out HVAC system and gave advice on possible future endeavors we have.
This review is overdue for Lou! On February 2019, we were at the tail end of finalizing the paperwork to become new home owners. We had concerns about the AC and heater units in the house and called Silverstate HVAC & Plumbing. Lou was our contact, he did an awesome job walking us through the inspection. Louis discovered a lot of “cut corner” work, especially for the heating unit that sits in the crawlspace of the second floor, which was a concern during the prior inspection of the house when we closed the deal. He went in detail of the types of unit replacements needed due to the layout and size of our home to be properly heated/cooled, the teams process of installments, and the after installment inspections, the quote for the entire process was fair and we were able to refinance. I also agreed with his interest of replacing our water heater which was not up to code and close to be out-dated.
The work order process was taken care of all in one day—I couldn’t keep track of the number of crew members; maybe 8-9 guys, each in in two-man groups working on every unit! They cleaned up after themselves—no mess left behind and hauled the old material away. They even installed our new thermostats, which were not purchased through the company. The work was done within 4-5 hours. The crawlspace unit was a challenge—but it got up there! A few days later we had several visits for the after inspection, which the inspector caught something wrong in our crawlspace. The next day, two workers came over to review the concern—it was minor; a couple of installation panels got moved, it was taken care of either way. The inspector came back a few days after that and approved their work—we’re in the green! The third week of March, we just had another inspection which I’ll need to make a review for—Wesley was great, too!
The heater’s and AC units are running very well—heat/cool our loft living space quicker than I thought! The water heater's running well, too! I’m impressed with the Company’s service! Lou is straight forward—honest about the work required and a friendly guy! We’re happy clients!

Buyer Beware!!!!! I just used these guys for a water softener install. I have no complaints about the quality of the work Rene did. My problem was with the shady business practices he displayed. He said that it was going to cost 800+ to install the unit because he needed some other piece or whatever. I said fine then I’ll just go with Home Depot cuz they said they could do it for 375. Then this dweeb from silver state plumbing said he had the parts on his vehicle and he could do it for 300! Lol I’m glad I knew about how much it was supposed to cost otherwise I would have been out 500$!!!! So for anyone wondering for a new home it should cost 3-400$ to install ur water softener. What a tool.
Called them to help me detect an in-wall leak, which their website has a page dedicated too. Turns out they don't have the equipment to scan thru the wall to do this properly and instead appear to want to eyeball the issue to offer a quote to fix based on that.
Also, their service call promise of $25 jumps to $165 if you happen to have a home warranty. Buyer beware. Feels like a bit of bait and switch style scam and clearly not delivering on the thru wall scans that other plumbers provide (which was the service I was looking for).

Quick response and we’re able to send a technician to help right away. Michael F. was polite and observed CoVid 19 precautions at all times. Michael was punctual, honest and educational. He helped me save money by informing me that my Delta Faucets had a life time warranty for parts which saved me over $250 dollars. He advised I call delta first and order parts for a more affordable service. I was able to make a follow up appointment with Silver State Plumbing and request for the same technician. They were very quick to reschedule and make accommodations for me that fit my schedule (I work night shift). The technician also educated me on yearly maintenance that’s required for water heaters and what to do to flush out an anode rod! All my years of owning homes, not one plumber has ever told me about how to maintain a water heater and how to keep the your plumbing clear of calcium build up if you don’t have a water softener. I’m just totally impressed by the honesty, great work and fast service. Thanks Again!

Vince of Silverstate Refrigeration & HVAC was a real life-saver to me. He made 3 visits to replace a motor that wasn't functional and didn't stop until my home AC worked to bring the temperature down from 95 degrees to a livable 72 degrees. This was at the end of July, one of the hottest months of the year. This senior citizen is very grateful to be able to stay nside her home once again! Thank you, Vince, from my heart!

Just had maintenance done on my furnace by David Adams. Very friendly, honest and informative on what he has done. He will go into detail on what he checked. He will let you know what needs to be replaced or fixed in the future and what other check points are in excellent condition. Very knowledgeable in what he is doing. He also did maintenance on my air conditioner and experienced the same results. Liked the way he suggested ways that might help you save money.
Didn't troubleshoot a shorted heater relay in a temperature chamber while the temperature was rising. The technician was overwhelmed and said he didn't want to work on it. His diagnosis was the refrigeration system was blocked.
I emailed owner and he calls me. Instead of working things out, he gets rude, wouldn't let me talk. Told me the system had more problems than a relay. Good luck with your business treating a customers like that.

Worst plumbing company in Las Vegas. Let me be clear, their field staff is awesome and did great work... but they were an hour past their 2 hour window (a dispathc issue, not their fields techs) and they charged me $198 to unclog my kitchen sink disposal. Seriously took 30 minutes including paperwork start to finish. I had no idea how easy a job it was, I should have done it myself. They don’t tell you the cost until they show up. And at that point, I don’t really have a choice. My worst plumbing experience yet.
Again, love the field techs. But this company is a rip off!
Our technician Chris, did a great job fixing our leak and cleaning up when done. Would recommend his services.

My AC wasnt blowing any air at all, so I set an appointment with Silver State for 3pm. They called me at 11am to say that a tech just finished a job around the corner and could come over immediately. So I leave work early and meet the tech at my house. I explain the problem to the tech, that the blower motor isn't running at all, and he immediately gives me quotes for a blower motor replacement and a blower motor capacitor replacement. Both quotes were outrageous!! $2,000 to replace a blower motor (a $150 part) and $500 to replace the capacitor (a $30 part). At this point, the tech hasn't grabbed any tools or equipment from his van, he hasn't gone up to the attic to look at anything or attempt any troubleshooting, he hasn't even looked at my outside AC units.... he just gave me 2 outrageous quotes.
So I immediately say to him, no thank you. Those prices are too high for me, I don't need any service from you.. The tech replies, that's ok... but this visit will be $89..
$89!!? For what? The tech literally did nothing but have a 3 min conversation with me. I contacted the front office to see if the service fee could be waived but they refused, saying that the tech drove all the way to my house... eventho they just told me he was right around the corner.
So since I was stuck paying the $89 fee, I figured I'd have the tech at least troubleshoot the problem so that I knew exactly which part was bad. The tech went into the attic for about 10 minutes, he then came back down and told me the blower motor was definitely bad. So I paid the $89 service fee, and told the tech to have a good day.
I then contacted another AC company and told them the problem I was having with my AC, and I told them that Silver State diagnosed a bad blower motor. That company came out to replace the blower motor, and it DID NOT fix the problem. The actual problem was a bad circuit card that wasn't sending power to the blower motor.
So not only did I have to miss time from work, Silver State attempted to rip me off with unreasonable pricing and they also tried to rip me off for $89 for a bogus service fee when the tech didnt do anything at all. When they wouldnt waive the service fee, I had the tech troubleshoot the problem, which he did incorrectly to the wrong part. That ended up costing me even more money, and additional time with no AC.
Worst experience possible with this company, would not recommend. Another AC company came out and replaced the blower motor for a fraction of the cost I was quoted from Silver State. When that didn't fix my problem, they gave me a discounted price on the circuit card and replaced that for me as well. They also gave me my original (serviceable) blower motor as a spare if I needed one later.
Beware of Silver State... they are incompetent crooks!!
I woke up to a wet kitchen floor and called Silver State. Everyone on the phone was very responsive and helpful, and Chris arrived promptly to check out the situation. After doing a thorough check under the sink, Chris determined I had a broken shut off valve, broken kitchen faucet, and the air gap was clogged. He explained my options for pricing (which I appreciated, much more so than one flat rate), and the issue was fixed in about an hour. Such a relief. Chris is a great plumber and I'll definitely be recommending Silver State.

All I can say is WOW! My wife called me to let me know that our water heater was leaking all over the garage. I called Elvis and he had Tony C at our house within an hour. He quickly assessed the problem and had a new water heater installed a couple of hours later. I highly recommend this company for their amazing customer service and quick response. I have heard so many horror stories about plumbing companies in Vegas so I was concerned that this was going to be one of those occasions. They were also very fairly priced for the repair compared to other quotes that we got.
I get upset with my elderly mother when she hires contractors without me. She tends to pay for services that she doesn't need because she is too trusting. After witnessing the care and honesty that they treat my mother with I would recommend them to anyone. The technicians, especially Doug, go out of their way to save her money and make sure that they have completely resolved any issues. They are always friendly and have shown me how to fix some things myself to prevent the need for a service call.

My second bathroom was badly clogged. It was so bad there was black water coming out of the shower and the toilet. So I called Silver State and they sent Mike & Joe to fix it. They did a Hydro-jet, and cleared out our sewage lines. Both of them were really friendly, & emphatic to our issue and took the time to explain things to us in a way we'd understand. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the service. I called and described that my AC was not cooling. The tech came and called me to say “yeah I’m looking at your unit from the outside and everything looks ok so it might be a leak but the problem is that we don’t work with R22.” He then followed up with “So I can send you a quote over for a new system .” ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?? REALLY? So you mean to tell me that with all the homes and businesses that still use R22, your solution is that everyone just get a new AC?? And why why not disclose that you don’t work with R22 BEFORE you charged me $89 for the trip? VERY VERY shady to say the least. Needless to say that I’ve now called another company who has the know-how for R22 and to properly diagnose the problem.

After purchasing a new washer and dryer, we noticed a soggy wall where the connectors were located. Despite our attempts to troubleshoot the issue ourselves, we discovered that the water shutoff valve was stuck open, which required us to shut off the water supply to the entire house in order to disconnect the unit.
We decided to seek professional assistance and found Silver State Plumbing. Their online form made it convenient for us to schedule an appointment for the following day, with a fee of $59. Soon after submitting the form, we received a phone call to confirm the appointment. The woman also offered to send someone out the same day for an after-hours fee of $89. We agreed to this option.
Before the techs arrived, we received a text message containing photos of the individuals who would be assisting us, and also we received a phone call to inform us that they were on their way. I personally liked that they did both as it provided me with a clear idea of who to expect and ensured we were well-informed throughout the process.
When Walter and Joe arrived, they assessed the situation after we had already cut out the sheet rock. While they were unable to determine the exact source of the leak causing the wall to become soggy, they presented us with a plan to redo the lines and install new valves. They ended up needing to pick up some supplies, but were pretty quick to return.
We found both Walter and Joe to be personable and professional throughout the entire process. They were attentive to our concerns and explained their proposed solutions clearly. Despite the initial difficulty in identifying the source of the problem, their expertise and willingness to go the extra mile to find a solution were commendable.
Overall, my experience with Silver State Plumbing was positive. From their convenient online scheduling to the excellent communication regarding the technicians' arrival, they demonstrated a commitment to customer service. I would recommend their services to others in need of plumbing assistance.

Have never been disappointment with their kindness and service. We had new A/C and Furnaces installed back over 6 1/2 yrs ago. Maintenance checks twice a year. Always treated well! Today Vince and Shawn where here for a problem visit with the furnace. Furnace wouldn't kick on. I called at 7, and someone was able to be here in a few hours. Clog causing problem. Problem fixed. The whole process from the first phone call to Silver State, to the actual appointment was handled with care and efficiency. Can’t recommend them enough.
Matt was amazing and got someone to see me ASAP after my warranty company AHS sent a “tech” who ripped apart my evap coil to service it, told me it needs ordered and left. Not another word from them until I called and was told $1600 to order part with no delivery time frame! Guaranteed the part is being refurbished somewhere and won’t even be a new part at that price. Waited 4 days too long before calling Silverstate. Danny Neske was amazing. Gave me options and was upfront about everything. He worked with Matt and gave us a wonderful deal and added a military discount as well. Installing a new unit with no more AC worries in this Vegas heat for 12 years! Cancelled the contract with AHS warranty. Lesson learned, don’t trust warranty companies and go with Silverstate for all your needs!

I am extremely pleased with the maintenance service that was performed on my HVAC. The technician, Wesley was extremely knowledgeable and explained the performance of my unit and addressed my concerns . It is also a good feeling to know that a percentage of my club membership is donated to a charitable organization.

Silver state always delivers! Walter was extremely professional, and very courteous. He did an outstanding job was clean and neat. I highly recommend Silverstate for any plumbing issues. I like how he explain the process along the way.
I used Silver State Plumbing for the replacement of three toilets. Technician Chris R. arrived within the three-hour window as mutually agreed in a clean Company flagged vehicle and in uniform. Chris was polite, professional and believe it or not had a bounce in his step! Finally, someone good at what he does and here to perform the job in an expeditious manner. Solid workmanship and would not hesitate to have Silver State Plumbing back again.

Walter our technician and repairman went the extra mile. to ensure our installation was correct. There was retrofit involved due to age of property and he double checked everything to ensure the installation of the water softening system and sink installation was done to spec and there were no issues. I called Silver State Plumbing after a water valve in my dishwasher failed, causing my entire kitchen to be flooded. When I called, they guaranteed service that day, and within 45 minutes, a nice gentleman named Mike arrived. Within minutes, he diagnosed the problem and within the hour, it was fixed. I am so thankful and grateful to Silver State Plumbing for their amazing service, dedication to the community, and relative ease to fix this situation. Great job, thank you so much!

Lou Weber who was my service technician was excellent. Not only did he fix my problem he went above and beyond to make sure the problem was taken care of. I have used Sliver State since 2014 and Lou has always been my service technician. Will not use any other company and will always request Lou as my technician. Lou’s asstiant Sean was very professional as well. I will highly recommend Silver State to anyone with heating and air problems. It is nice to know that there are still company’s that don’t take advantage of you and care about the customer instead of just making money.

I called silver state last night for emergency service on my air conditioning unit They called back within 5 minutes. They sent out Vince within an hour. This was in the height of 115 degrees. He spent hours here doing work to figure out the issue. I would recommend Vince and silver state to take care of anything in my home. You must call Vince at silver state before anyone else. Anyone else will rip you off.

Had a bad leak in bathroom, called multiple companies on this Labor Day weekened and as expected every company inflated their prices. I called Silver State Plumbing who gave me a great quote. Again, this is a holiday weekened and a Saturday. Plumber came on time, did his job to perfection, no emergency fees charged, and what it did cost was very little considering my circumstances. I definately recommend this company if you're in need of their services.
My neighbor, who is disabled with 2 children, called this company Friday night. Was told she needed a whole new system. 2nd opinion today, just needed to replace the original motor! What a bunch of Crooks!
I bought a new A/C and heating unit from them last year and the Maytag unit not only proved to be very efficient, but quiet as well! Thomas came today and serviced the heating unit for the one year service and only charged $25! Could not be more pleased with the installation and service! Efficient, on-time and courteous!

The kitchen sink backed up late on a Friday night. I called another company which offered 24/7 emergency service. I was told that no one was available until the next day. My maintenance appointment was scheduled for 2:00 - 6:00 the following day (Saturday).
At 2:15 on Saturday I received a phone call from the other company. I was told that they were “rescheduling” my appointment because they were too busy to resolve the problem on that day.
They wanted to reschedule my appointment for the following Tuesday or Saturday. I explained that I couldn’t wait that long for the kitchen sink to be repaired. Needless to say, I canceled the service with Goettl.
I called Silver State first thing Monday morning. They scheduled an appointment for me that day. By the afternoon I had an unclogged and working kitchen sink.
Silver State called me and sent a text with the name of the technician who would be coming to the house. Mike arrived within the time frame I was given. He was polite, professional, considerate and practiced social distancing protocol (he wore a mask).
I would highly recommend Silver State for all my plumbing needs!

I recently used the services of Silver State for my business. It took over a week for my air conditioning to be repaired. This was during the week the temperatures read 114 plus degrees. On the third visit from Silver State I received a quote for 3 hours of labor. The technician was on a call back and spend 1 hour and 5 minutes to finally repair the unit. I ended up paying for three services calls in addition to trip charges. If you have extra monies to give Silver State by all means use them. As a business owner I do not charge twice or three times for the same services provided.
Silverstate provided excellent service. They were prompt and on time.
Danny the technician was very courteous and conducted himself very professionally.
I would recommend Silverstate to anyone without hesitation.

My A/C went out at my place and it rose to 90° quick inside the house. I called silverstate and they were out there within an hour to fix my unit. Doug was my technician. He was knowledgeable, friendly and quick. Within the hour my unit was up and running. I would recommend anybody needing their air-conditioning fixed to call. Thanks y'all, you ROCK

Vince was pleasant and helpful, and informative.
We decided it was time to replace our air conditioner, and Silver State was one of five companies I spoke to. Each was good in its own way, but Silver State stood out as the best for us. I asked Vince why we should invest in his Maytag unit instead of other brands, and he told me about it without once saying anything negative about any other brand. This is a sign of a professional, as well as a sound product in my opinion. The installation was two days later as that is when it was convenient for us, and the gentlemen who installed it knew what they were doing, were professional and polite.
Everything was professional and they made us feel confident we made the right decision in this investment. I'd recommend them for sure.

Called SilverState on a Sunday and they had tech Willie come out on Monday. Willie was Awesome and fixed the problem within minutes. We were reluctant to call any company about our AC unit thinking the cost to repair/replace would be too much for us to afford. Thank you so much Willie for your fast & friendly service. I have a membership but the wanted almost 300.00 to replace a faucet. We have been a customer for about 5 years. I thinking their pricing is excess for longtime customers.

I had air conditioning problems a technician from Silver State named Doug came out and he diagnose my problem and he was straightforward and and honest. He even looked up my air conditioner found out I had a warranty on the parts I recommend Silver State to everybody thanks Doug!!!
Amazing, Professional, Outstanding are all understatements and pale in comparison to the service we received. Professionalism was shown in the highest standard. They replaced my old R22 system and worked with an amazing attitude and speed. If you ever have them work on your AC, be sure to provide them with cool iced water and refreshments to help in this vegas heat. It definitely helps raise spirits. I would definitely recommend the two techs Gammy and Johnny to anyone who needs installments or even repairs. This company really has some honest workers. I would definitely do business with Silver State Refrigeration again.

Mike came out, abswered all my questions. Fast and efficient.
I owned two home so I took a service contract for each house. The contract seemed good at the time, check the AC, check the heating, system, flush out the water heater and do maintenance, and finally 3 service calls. My toilet did not flush called on a Sunday, when the plumber came out did not even look just said the problem was under my sink and would cost $375 to replace valve would not do anything else said had to order part call office on Monday and schedule time. Office never called back went to another plumber. When doing maintenance on the AC unit said that they did not go into the attic to check anything as they did that 7 months ago for the heating check. Never checked any of the vents and told me I needed a part for $175 on both of my units in both houses. Very poor quality of work and always trying to sell you more then needed. I contacted them 3x expecting a call back over 4 days. Wanted to work with them because they came highly recommended. Finally someone on the phone told me they won't call me back because they aren't taking new clients during peak season. They could've said that from the beginning.
Believe me this place is a ripoff!! My son went up told us the part we needed. We priced it at 167.00. This greedy company told me the part would cost 577.00. That's okay, we will replace ourselves. And I don't need a new unit which I'm sure they would lie about and ripoff us even more. Sad. My brother's are in the a/c business. But of course its the weekend so we will wait and do it ourselves. Don't recommend people who take advantage.

We had an AC unit break down recently and called Silver State for assistance. Have used Silver State for over 20 years for AC problems, and was very satisfied with their professionalism, knowledge, and communication with us as to what was wrong with AC, and options on how it could be fixed or replaced. A special shout out to technicians Aharon Rodriguez and Grammy Gamalieo who were very knowledgeable, hard working and pleasant even though they were working on a holiday and temp was above 100! We will always count on Silver State for all heating/AC needs! They’re the best!!

REVIEW of PLUMBING SERVICES: Came out to inspect leak in ceiling. Although we were unable to locate the source, the technician, Art, devised a plan w/detailed instructions on what to do when/if it reoccurs. Was here at least an hour & still only charged $25 as advertised. No hidden fees! In fact if they come out again to inspect the same issue that fee is waived. Was impressed w/their professionalism, punctuality, thorough inspection & especially the final cost being as advertised. Will use again!

I Had a young man by the name of Christopher Roberts ( Smart Efficient highly recommended) very respectful on time did a very good job appreciate the knowledge on my services done by him.
They installed a new heat pump package unit in September 2022 with new thermostat. It's only going to be 7 months, but so far no issues or problems. I was contacted by Silver State for an appointment to come do maintenance on it and they called me to ask if they could come earlier than scheduled. So far using them to replace my unit has been a good experience. I appreciate that.
