KB Complete came to service two air conditioners after one of the A Coils froze over. The technician was professional and friendly. He added 4 pounds of R410A to one unit, and 2 to the other unit, at $70 per pound. The technician checked one system for leaks, he said he checks any time he adds more than 2 pounds of refrigerant. He removed the condensation drain line to hold the R410A Leak Detector up to the condensate discharge elbow. He did not reconnect the condensate drain line. The AC ran for 3 days without having the condensate drain line connected, which filled the catch pan under the furnace with ~8 gallons of water in the attic, above 2 floors of finished living space. I happened to see that the attic light was on and went up to turn it off and found the flooded catch pan before it leaked through to the living space. I reconnected the condensate drain line, set up a fan, and called KB that night. I did not get an answer. I called the next morning, which was a Saturday. They sent out a technician a few hours later to drain the catch pan. The second technician was also friendly and professional. He cleaned both of the AC coils at the compressors, something the first technician did not do as part of the servicing of the units. Everyone with KB was friendly and professional, and scheduling and payment was smooth. I spent a few hours of my Saturday at home because of the oversight. If I hadn't had this experience, I would probably use them again. Their services are not cheap. I paid $420 for 6 pounds of R410A. You can get 25 pounds of R410A from Grainger for $428, and much cheaper wholesale, although I have not shopped around to see if other HVAC companies charge significantly less than $70 per pound. I was charged $89 for the technician trip fee to show up, $151 for the 'government handling fee' for the refrigerant, and a $99 diagnostic charge 'for HVAC - had to get out the meter.' My total bill for servicing two air conditioners and adding 6 pounds of R410A came to $771. If I had only had one AC serviced and added 3 pounds, the bill would have been $404 before any 'government handling fee' had been added. Update: After posting this review, I was contacted by KB Complete. They apologized and seemed to be genuinely upset by my experience. They offered to come out a third time to check on why the high-water float-switch in my catch pan did not shut off the air conditioner. They sent a card with a partial refund. They do seem to care and want my business in the future.

I contacted Connelly to do some work for my parents as they tend to get theirselves into “situations” with contractors. I left a message after hours to have them come out and quote a job and explained the situation. They contacted me the next morning. They agreed to contact me after they diagnosed the issue. Unfortunately but not unexpectedly the job became a bit bigger than we had thought but the plumber was very informative, knowledgeable and respectful. My mom said “make sure you leave an amazing review”. So here I am. Not only was their communication great but they were well priced for the work that they did. We will be calling again to finish some more less urgent work in the future. It’s always nice to find a company with good, down to earth people. Thank you for all of your honest, hard work.

I can't say enough good things about Midwest Water & Sewer! I was looking for a company that uses the pipe burst method to replace 90 feet of sewer line on my home, from the basement to the county main. My home is 97 years old with cast iron/clay tiles. Pat, the owner explained the process throughly, how many days it would take, the type of piping they use, and replacing the saddle on the county main line, was included. The price was great too!! Pat is very customer service oriented. He always answered the phone, and when I had to leave a voicemail, within minutes, he returned my call. The process took three days and at the end of each day, his crew made sure the workspace was clean of free of debris. At the end of the third day, Pat called the city inspector and they came out and gave their approval. If you are looking to replace a sewer line, look no further, chose Midwest Water & Sewer. You won't regret it!
