Do not use this scam of a company!!

I was in a bit of a pinch & needed a handyman to fix the garbage disposal at my rental property. The service itself was good. The issue started when I received the invoice & saw I was being aggressively overcharged & charged for made up fees. I attached the actual invoice below.

1. Labor - $115 an hour is already an excessive price for a handyman, but I needed the work done quickly. I called my tenant who was home when the garbage disposal was fixed & he told me it took about 40 minutes to fix. Ace charged me for 1.75 hours! The general manager said I was charged the extra time because the handyman had to go shopping for the part. Shopping is not a skilled labor! This is extremely unethical to charge as labor. Not to mention Home Depot & Lowes are both within 1 mile of my home.

2. Service fee - $60 Handymen normally charge a service fee to come out & quote a job. If you end up not using them, they charge you the service fee. This scam of a company tried to double dip & charge me for the service fee too.

3. Truck stock - $10 I was never given an explanation of this fee. Another fee Ace uses to steal from their customers.

4.Materials - $161 (40% markup) This was the nail in the coffin for me, and confirmed that Ace is nothing but a scam. I asked the general manager for a copy of the receipt. He refused to provide me a copy of the receipt! He finally admitted that they charge a 40% markup on all materials! When I made the appointment nobody informed me of this excessive markup on all parts. A 40% markup on materials isn’t the industry average, it’s out right fraud!

I would not recommend anyone using this scam of a company, and will never use them again!

This company consistently provides outstanding service and products EVERY TIME. Today Patrick Z and Kevin S replaced a very ornery leaky sink. Last week KB Complete provided outstanding AC installation. They stand by their products and services and they are loyal to their loyal customers.

JTP has been my family's go to plumber over the years. He puts pride and compassion in his work and provides detailed information on what he's doing and pricing. I would recommend him to everyone if I could!!!

I was expecting a very expensive repair job and after Steve researched the problem further (before starting the job) realize the solution was much easier and did not require the heavy price tag. Saved us tons of money at Christmas. The repair will likely need to made eventually but not today. Thank you! I would recommend CPS to anyone. Professional, honest and trustworthy.

Plumbing issues are never a fun experience and never happen at a convenient time. With that said Mike at Bristol Plumbing was very easy to work with. One call and he was at the house that day. He repaired the problem, was clean and did a knockout job in a timely manner. He had us flowing in the right direction in no time. Could not be happier with the work. He is a true professional. Would highly recommend him to any and all my friends.

Call Chase now - don't even waste looking at other options for water heaters.

Our water heater went out, and I first tried a larger name company in town - that was a quick mistake after they quoted an outrageous amount. I called Chase, but he wasn't going to be able to get to me for 2 days - we have 3 kids (one is a baby) so we needed hot water back ASAP. I went about scheduling someone else who gave me a quote over the phone and said they could probably come the next day to repair/replace.

BUT it was what happened later that afternoon/evening that made us go with Chase - he texted me tips to troubleshoot, and when one thing didn't work he gave me other options to try. This was BEFORE I scheduled with him. He was simply doing this because he cared and it's clear he loves what he does. It was free advice, no strings attached.

After that, I cancelled my other appointment and scheduled Chase to come out in 2 days.
It was worth the wait and cold showers I took.
He walked me through options, pointed out things to be aware of and went above and beyond

It's clear he's knowledgeable, honest and loves the work he does. I would recommend him for any water heater work and only wish he did more than just that.

No frills, no spills - Quick Relief Plumbing originally handled a home warranty call I had for low flow in all of my home faucets. Anthony F. was very honest and professional about the work - including what the warranty probably would not cover. He made quick work of what he could fix and gave me a fair quote on what the warranty would not cover. I appreciated his professionalism, the speed as which he worked, and his honest opinion on what needed to still be done. I immediately decided I would have QRP come back out and do the needed work. I met the other Anthony when he returned a few days later to complete the work. During this visit, he took care of what needed to be done and even showed me how to do some maintenance on my water heater without charging me. It's nice to know companies like this exist.

They pulled out toilet to fix the drain. They splattered my walls with sewage, tore up a piece of molding and spread the wax ring all over my floor and carpet. They also scraped he rest of the wax ring from their boots or something on the brick planter in my backyard. I learned that when I sat down on it. They did take money off my bill but my house was just remodeled and the damage and 2 hours we spent cleaning up after them was ridiculous. The owner told us that Mr. clean would remove the stains but it didn't. The bathroom will have to be repainted and a piece of trim replaced. It will cost more than they took off of the bill.
