Anthony Plumbing Heating Cooling Electric had service availability for my kitchen sink and dishwasher drain within 24hrs of me reaching out. Don Thompson, my service technician, conquered my stopped up, corroded and leaking pipes! He was knowledgeable, unwavering and thorough with the challenge before him. He was informative of not only the task at hand but also my service plan which I am signed up for; he enlightened me of additional services that I may benefit from. I highly recommend Anthony; a speed dial position has been secured on my phone just for them!

Unfortunately this company is just trying to get money out of you. The guy that was sent to fix my ac clearly just wanted to rip me off so he spent over an hour (now I know he was doing nothing) looking around just to tell me that he couldn’t do anything and I needed to call an electrician. I then had to pay for an hour of “diagnostic charge”. It shouldn’t of taken a full 60 minutes just to determine that I needed a different person to come fix it. I am fine paying the trip charge but the diagnostic charge with no progress made in fixing my ac was ridiculous.

Derek was wonderful to work with. He kept me informed on everything. Thanks to him my unit is working again.

I had a very stubborn clogged drain. I tried every home remedy you can think of for a clogged drain. It took the full length of the snake, but the technician was able to push whatever was blocking the pipe into the main line and get the drain flowing again.

Great work. Will be the first one called the next time. Pleasure to have them in my home.

I've used Poor John's for three projects now over the past year or so:

1.) Troubleshooting the source of a bathroom water leak and applying the appropriate fix.
2.) Putting in new wax seal for a hard-to-get-to toilet.
3.) Replacing the drain pipe behind/under the wall of my kitchen sink.

Each time the service was superb, the plumber was honest, the scheduling process was a breeze, and the price seemed very reasonable.

Poor Johns will undoubtedly be my go-to plumber as long as I live in KC.
