I like to do business with local (preferably veteran/woman owned) businesses ... but I do my research & don't do the get 3-4 quotes' stuff ... True Blue was everything I wanted! Cody came out the same day, was REALISTIC about what he could /could not do that day, but addressed all my issues, even brought his supervisor (Ike) to my house to answer questions he couldn't answer! (I like that!!! If you don't know, admit it, get the answers from someone who does!!) Cody was awesome! My dogs loved him! (That alone says a lot!) He was SO helpful, polite, respectful, and PROFESSIONAL! He came the same day I called (late afternoon - although I knew it would take longer to take care of my issues) he took care of the most important one that day ... came back the next day to take care of the rest - and - him admitting that he didn't know much about water softener systems - brought his supervisor in to advise? (His supervisor knew what he was talking about - & what we were looking for! Cody used it as a learning experience! :) ) We got our basic plumbing issues fixed and decided to install a water softener system - cause let's face it! We live in KCMO with HARD water... do not regret that decision at all! And True Blue (and Cody) is now MY company to go to for plumbing!!! an added plus? Apparently, one of my neighbors was having plumbing issues, saw his truck - & he was back in the neighborhood, helping my neighbor the next day! :) btw ... I'm not an idiot .... I've worked for HVAC/plumbing companies for YEARS (retired from one after 7 years) ... I know the game ... True Blue is honest, reasonable ($49 trip charge!) Can't beat that!) and VERY professional and responsive! You can't go wrong with True Blue!!!

Tarik did a great job installing our new water heater. He was friendly and very quick to answer any questions I had. He even helped us out by giving information to our home warranty company to be reimbursed. I definitely will call them for any future needs and recommend to all our friends and family!

I had a Saturday emergency leak situation, and after calling a few spots, landed here. The person who took my call rearranged the schedule, even calling another client who didn’t have an emergency to see if they would be willing to push their appointment back (thank you to that kind person!), and got me in with very short notice. Alex came on time, was friendly and helpful and took care of getting my hot water heater good enough to use until it’s fully replaced. I really appreciated him explaining things to me, and being friendly. He mentioned how much he loved his job, which always means better care for customers. Overall, my experience was pleasant in tough circumstances and I could tell Alex is a really good man. It gave me trust to use this team in the future.

When I called True Blue Plumbing the receptionist was friendly and helpful. She Said they could send a plumber out that day. Unfortunately I was busy, so they set up an appointment for the following day. That was great because I thought I’d have to wait at least a week.Before the technician arrived I received a text letting me know he was on his way. The text included a picture of the technician so I would feel safer knowing who it was at the door. I really appreciated that. Once here, The technician introduced himself. He wore a mask, which I thought was very polite. When I showed him the problem with our plumbing he knew exactly what to do. He wrote up a plan with three different options for us and explained each one to me. He didn’t make me feel pressured in anyway.When I chose which plan I wanted to go with he explained to me what he was going to do and how long it would take. He was able to do everything we need it done in just a few hours. I had forgotten to move some things out of the way and he cheerful he did it himself. I really appreciate how comfortable he made me feel with him here, and that he had everything he needed to fix the problem on his truck so I didn’t have to wait for him to come back on another day. I highly recommend this company.

We needed a new hot water heater, we live in a older home and they had to bring something’s up to code.
They explained everything they had to do. They completed the job and cleaned up. They were both very nice. I will definitely be using this company again.

I tried to have a family member do this job workout success. I was not able to use hot water in my kitchen until it was repaired. Michael provided me confidence in his way to fix the leak problem effectively without worry of CVPC pipe coming apart at the couplings etc. and flooding the basement.

Anthony came out to help me with a bath tub spout and pipe I messed up in a wall, he definitely put my needs before his and I am very impressed. he could of took the easier route for himself by knocking out tile which would of cost me a more money by having to call a tile guy to come replace the tile, but instead he put the customer first and found a way to do the repair by crawling into a small cabinet on the backside of the wall and was able to cut an access panel and fix it from behind the back wall instead of knocking out tile from the front. He saved me hundreds of not a thousand on getting a tile guy out. Anthony also was very pleasant to chat with during the process, he didn’t mind me lurking over his shoulder and was happy to educate me (as a new homeowner) on some plumbing for beginners. Anthony is the definition of a professional with OUTSTANDING customer service. True blue plumbing should definitely do whatever they can to keep Anthony on their team he definitely made their company look like the real deal!

He explained everything that needed to be completed and also noticed a few other repairs that we would need to fix at some point in time. He took time explaining what needed to be fixed but did not pressure us into purchasing anything additional right then. After the job was completed, Devin explained everything that he had installed. Woke up this morning to a rusted floor of my water heater. Went through Home Depot because I have an account there. True Blue was the company they contracted for the install, and I'm glad they did. They sent a courteous gentleman named Micheal. Micheal was the complete professional, explaining everything he was having to do step-by-step and why he was doing it. Gave me some tips on what to do to prolong the life of my house and my equipment. Wasn't a huge shocker to learn he was trained as a union plumber. Best kind of plumber because they make sure they are the best trained workers.I've got other work I'll need to get done with the plumbing in my house as I am refinishing a basement. After today, I already know who will be doing the work.

I had True Blue replace a toilet in a bedroom bath. The quoted price seemed fairly high to me, (I've purchased and replaced several toilets) but it was a quality toilet and the plumber seemed very knowledgeable. I was told a new water supply valve and line was included in that price. I was also told that if the mounting flange needed repaired/raised, it would only be a small price adjustment. The plumber's tablet quit functioning, so i didn't get an itemized bill at the time of service. When I called to pay my bill it was quite a lot higher that I expected based on the quotes I had received. Examination of the invoice showed a price for the toilet/install $50 dollars higher than quoted price of $850. It also had a charge of $356 dollars to repair the flange (which was adding a new one on top of the old one(?) to raise the height of the flange above a tile floor) AND $208 for the replacement of the water turn off valve and line between that valve and the toilet. I communicated with True Blue regarding the disconnect and was told, essentially, it is what it is. Maybe $1400 for a toilet install isn't too out of line with other's experiences, but it's way out of line with mine. I would not recommend them based on price, transparency or customer service. We'll see on the quality....

I needed to have my furnace looked it due to leaking, it was not a plumbing issue and he was Jerime was nice enough to inform us of the issue and told us how to go about it. Honesty is always appreciated!! Thank you for coming out!

I had my hot water heater start leaking water. I called True Blue Plumbing LLC and they sent Michael Allen out who did an excellent job! I appreciated that in advance I received a text message with the name and picture of the plumber that was actually coming to my house. He had everything he needed and finished the job in under 2 hours. After he was done, he walked me through the regular maintenance and upkeep I needed to do to keep the hot water heater lasting for years. Tankless water heater went out on a Saturday, True Blue came to the rescue and got us a water heater installed that day .......now, the cost was a shocker, but I think that would be for anyone!!But Dave, the serviceman was very patient, in answering my million questions and doing a on the spot video for me for issues that may arise.When I had to call 2 days later, Dave was here within a couple of hours, fixed the issue and was on his wayNo one wants to come out thousands for these things, but if you do, call True Blue....and ask for Dave, he's awesome!!

I woke up without hot water on February 8th and realized my water heater wasn't working. I called 4 or 5 local plumbing businesses. Each one either didn't answer, didn't respond to my message until the next week, or wanted a ridiculous amount of money just to show up. A friend recommended True Blue. I called, left a message and 10 minutes later the owner, Devin York, called me back. I told him my problem and within a couple of hours, he had one of his guys at my place. The guy was professional, explained everything and was quick. I paid a very reasonable amount for labor. The new water heater (Rheem) was supplied and saved me more time and headache because I didn't have to run around town trying to find one. I would HIGHLY recommend True Blue Plumbing due to their great customer service, quality of work and professionalism!

New to KCMO just bought house and needed fridge water line installed. Plumber was not able to complete work had to come out next biz day offered discount for inconvenience. Work got completed Plumber did not clean up his job site and no discount was offered. Complained to office was told a follow would happen to clean up job site. No follow up occurred, so tried to use local Supplier to give back and got burned. Be cautious and make sure to inspect job site before Plumber leaves. Very disappointing engagement.

I had been dealing with plumbers and fridge services through my home warranty program which became a hassle when I had to have a fridge person come out, tell me it was a plumbing issue, plumber come out fix the issue, plumber come back out because the leak didn't fix and tell me it was a fridge issue. Finally the fridge guy came out and fixed the fridge but said the work done by the plumber wasn't the best so I called outside of my home warranty to have True Blue Plumbing LLC check it out. The tech came out, fixed the issue in 5 minutes, and since there wasn't much work that was required, there was no charge. Doing the same through my home warranty would have costed me $100.00, so True Blue Plumbing LLC really helped me during a time of need. Thank you True Blue!

I was very impressed with the work performed and professional service provided. The replacement water heater was installed in around an hour and a half. This was a tight space and more difficult job than most. I would recommend True Blue to my friends.

Service was good. Jeff was friendly and professional. But I didn't find out about the dispatch fee of $49 until everything was already complete. Not really any option at that point but to pay for it. It felt disingenuous to advertise a promotional rate for the service and then tack on an extra charge. It's not like they could have done the service without coming out. And there was no mention of the fee on the website. Price was still reasonable, but nothing special compared to other plumbers. Bait and switch is no way to get loyal customers. Won't use again.

I had a kitchen faucet that broke and was soldered in to copper pipes. I have never sweated a pipe before and didn't want to get it wrong so I called True Blue to replace the faucet and set it up with quick connects so I can change the faucet out myself in the future. I received fantastic service. Anthony was able to give me an estimate on the phone that was spot on. On the day of the repair he called me to ask me if he could show up early! I also love that the company sends a text with a picture of the serviceman so I know who to expect when they show up at the door. I couldn't have asked for anything more from a plumber.

I had them come out to fix my low water pressure. The technician said the work would be covered by a warranty. Over $500 repair and now 2 days later the water pressure problems came back. The front desk said because my warranty was verbal and not written they can't honor it. So I'm out financially and my house still has low water pressure.An expensive lesson to get things in writing. My trust in them is gone.

Even though I didn't use this companies offered services, my interaction with their technician (Anthony) was most professional and very informative. The communication was easy and they arrived earlier than expected. I would imagine their services are just as high quality.

True Blue Plumbing was sent to us by our Contractor. We had nothing to do with the selection. The job we had was difficult and the project was not completely revealed. Trent was very professional and called the owner to explain the situation that the scope of his work was more than the contractor requested. Trent did the job we needed and the owner, Devin, came and assisted. They completed the entire job correctly. We are happy with both their work and professionalism and would recommend them to anyone in need. Bob & Pam

Was hired to replace the water heater and repair the sewer main line. Kept adding to area they would be required to excavate and replace, even though they supposedly ran a camera through the line. They delayed coming out to finish the work by capping the mail line clean out, outside by over a week. They only came after a called several times. They also neglected to remove the cover on the floor drain, or tell me anything about the work. It was my Mother's house and she was in home hospice care at the time, and I was managing everything from my home about 15 minutes away. Asa a result of their oversight and general incompetence, the basement flooded because the floor drain was blocked. The estimated damage was over 7,800 dollars. Which could have been avoided by 30 seconds follow up work on their part or telling me that something would have to be done on my park in the near future. When I called to get assistance in clean up and repair, the office never called me back.

The best part is that they were on time and arrived at rhe beginning of my 3 hour window!! Edward was very friendly and professional. He answered all my questions, even about other areas of my house and gave me some tips i could try myself first in those areas. He was very knowledgable and told me about new toilet models that have less problems with clogs. He did not pressure me to buy any extra services or products. I will definitely use True Blue Plumbing again!!

Service involved replacing a hose bib that was stuck open. The hose bib was very accessible on the inside and outside. I provided a ladder in place on the inside to reach the connection. It took less than an hour to replace the hose bib. The technician offered two options for the replacement . I selected the upgraded option. Based on my research no hose bib cost more than $100, with an average well under $50. My final bill was $414 which means I paid well over $300 for an hours worth of work? I didn’t think too much about it until I realized the tech spent over 2 hours parked two doors down from my house. So I feel I paid for 3 hours worth of labor for less than an hour of labor. I’m all for quality work which I feel I received, but I feel like I overpaid for the work.

Had a great experience with True Blue! Alex Manrique was our plumber and he was super friendly and knowledgeable. I showed him the issue we were experiencing and he immediately knew what the problem was. He still went to check to confirm his assessment and also went so far as the check the water pressure to the house as a whole. He didn't try to upsell us on anything other than what he believed to be the issue. I felt confident in his assessment, so we moved forward with the repair while he was there and he completed the repair in just over an hour. Ever since, we have had no sign of the previous issue and the water pressure has been SO much better! Will definitely be using True Blue again and requesting Alex in the future.

My technician was Don, he was on time, professional, knowledgeable for the job at hand. Installed my water heater with no problems. The reason there's not five stars is the extra $300 labor charge that was tacked on to an automatic $675 labor fee. Which I was told the labor fee is for picking up the new water tank and them taking the old one away. Just adding a $50 expansion tank was charged at $150 and cutting two copper pipes shorter and adding couplers was an additional $150. Your labor should be what is stated. So be aware whatever is being installed is not plug and play expect more $$$ than what they tell you over the phone.

Tarik and Mike were very professional and did a great job installing 2 toilets purchased from Lowe’s. They had installed a toilet at our daughters house and we requested them for our house. They cleaned up the rooms and took all trash away. Thank you for a job well done!

Short Version: I encourage you to do a little more research and think twice before choosing True Blue. One suggestion is to use someone like Anthony Plumbing who will cost more but at least you can take comfort in knowing it's done right, by highly qualified installers, and they provide 24/7 support. Most importantly, you'll know their owner won't say, tell her it's not that cold out tonight so they'll be fine. What it meant we were without heat or hot water for 18 hours because ATMOS Energy said the gas leak from their installation was so bad they had to shut off gas to the house.Long Version: While doing your due diligence researching companies before making a costly decision, you'll do like I did and read as many reviews as you can. Unfortunately, you'll find examples of unhappy customers everywhere and consider True Blue's overall rating high enough so you'll think it will be fine. You likely save a little money with them, but you could also end up in the situation we're now in after a new tankless hot water heater installation.After the installation, the True Blue plumber told my wife there might be a little condensation but nothing significant. However, as soon as the first person took a shower, there was a significant flow of water which was pooling back into our wall. The installer installed the drainpipe as a single PVC pipe straight down next to the wall instead of taking it to the floor drain. Of course, the result was water backing up into the framing of the wall. At that point, we asked for someone more qualified to come out and take a look at his work, and take the drain tube to the floor drain.At that point it obviously wasn't a big deal and we thought we had peace of mind because they sent out their master plumber to inspect the work.However, 9 days later we now have strong smell in our basement, and Atmos quickly found what they called, a significant gas leak from where True Blue rerouted our gas line. Unfortunately, the leak was too significant, and they had to shut it off for the entire house. All of this is exacerbated by the fact it's a Saturday and True Blue doesn't provide 24/7 support. Because this is such a significant issue, the owner is called and I've already provided his response. Bottom line, no one's perfect, mistakes happen, and stuff breaks but for me it's always about how someone responds in those situation which defines who they are as a company.

Helped identify the source of the leak and took care of the problem. Chris was very polite and knowledgeable.

We had our siding replaced and one of the outdoor spigots needed to be extended to accommodate the new, thicker siding. Alex from True Blue came out the next day and gave us a free estimate. He would have been able to make the repair that day as well if it weren't for a few factors which kept him from doing so. A few days later he came back and fished the job correctly and for a fair price. We will be happy to use TBP again for any future plumbing needs.

This guys came to my apartment to install a sink. I had already paid installation fee and they are charging extra fee. They say the extra fee is because I bought a different kind of sink. Instead of calling me before installing they went ahead and installed so they can charge me. Very terrible people. Do not reccomend them at all.

Chris went over and beyond by picking up a replacement sink for our job. We were out of town and this was an occupied rental.

Well so far so bad with this company. Contracted through a guarantee to be here same day through Home Depot and no call back. Nothing. Had to stay on hold for half hour to be told the guarantee didn’t mean a thing and refused to come til tomorrow. Now that I think of it two stars is way too generous for a company that didn’t call back. Offered no discount for not showing up after having the balls to use the word guarantee then showing that that word seems to have absolutely noMeaning at all. Do not put yourself in harms way and use this company in any way unless you are out of town and the issue is one that doesn’t have to be done til you get back into town a week later.

Chris diagnosed some wet subfloor, replaced toilet flange and was able to put in a new laundry box. Very professional and thoughtful about cutting dry wall to diagnose. Due to an issue with a leak in a laundry box valve, suggested a replacement. Was not pushy at all about it. Did his work quickly and cleaned up after himself. Would not hesitate to hire this company again! More reliable than my local plumber and about as expensive.

Called Home Depot to get a new hot water heater installed. They sent out Micheal A. And Chris H from True Blue. They quickly realized we had an issue that would affect the life of our new water heater. They worked with me to fix the additional issues and help me stay on budget. They were both caring while being professional. They came back the next day when they said they would. They worked hard and got it completed in a timely manner. They are now my go to plumbers and I will only be using them in the future. I will ask for Micheal or Chris when I call for service. I will also recommend them to all my friends and family.

I had Mike out today and I can’t say enough about him! He was very professional, trustworthy and Honest! I had Bob Hamilton plumbing out Sunday for this same call that Mike just fixed, now understand Mike charged me 285 to fix my issue. Now the plumber you can trust with your house keys was going to charge me over 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS! Now I can only say I will never call that Bob plumber again ever! The technician was wonderful, but the company charges a ridiculous amount for labor. The part cost under 20.00 and they charged me 215.00 for 15 minutes of work. I was shocked! I will never use this company again for this reason.

Ike was the technician who came to my home on a clogged main drain. He not only was on time but actually arrived earlier than original time given. He was very professional and friendly. I would not hesitate to call True Blue for any plumbing needs.

This company installed a water heater today for us through Home Depot. She showed up over 2 hours late outside of the window without any update calls. The window had already been pushed from 8-12 to 10-2. She showed up at 4:30. We called dispatch numerous times who kept saying that oh I thought she called you. She admitted she wasn't experienced which when someone is dealing with your gas line is extremely scary and honestly dangerous. A company shouldn't send a service tech out on a job that they aren't comfortable doing. The company had obviously put this girl on way more jobs than what she could handle and didn't even send back up when she was still working at 7 at night. Signs of a terribly run business. The tech had never even heard of the soap/water test to ensure there is no gas leakage so she is obviously super inexperienced. The service took much longer than expected and since she was already very late threw off our entire evening plans which were to visit a friend in the hospital which we were not able to do. There techs are not certified plumbers, just trained for a few months. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. NOT SAFE. NOT PROFESSIONAL. LOW QUALITY SERVICE.

Had a good experience. Dom showed up and had the old tank drained and moved quickly. He had to go swap out tanks due to my error upon ordering so was slowed down due to that. But once he had the right tank he had it in place and installed quickly an hour later we had good hot water. Would recommend this company.

Home Depot set us up with True Blue Plumbing and we were totally amazed at how well this plumbing company and our plumber, Devon York, took care of our situation. We had been without a kitchen sink and unable to run water for several days. Upon hearing that, True Blue was willing to get here in a hurry and handled things quickly and expertly. They installed a new sink, garbage disposal, and faucet set very quickly and did a great job. I can't thank them enough for such great customer service. We noticed a puddle under our hot water heater Friday evening of Memorial weekend. We called & were able to setup an appointment & installation for Memorial Day. The plumber Alex called before he arrived & arrived within the appointment time window. When he arrived he identified everything that should be done before preparing an initial bid which is based on the job rather than by the hour. He also noted the plumbers are not paid on a commission so the initial bid process was straight forward with him not trying to push us into getting a higher commission sale. We looked in every once in a while & he would provide explanations as to why he was doing what he was doing. At the end he walked us through the strongly encouraged maintenance to extend the life of the hot water heater along with the breakdown of the bill. We have now found our first call for any of our plumbing needs & would hope that Alex would be the one who gets our job assignment. If any of our friends ask for a reference we will be suggesting True Blue Plumbing.

They called me to reschedule my appointment 3 times and when the day of the service call came plumber calls at 7:30 am and says he will be on the way in 30 minutes did not show up until 10 am 2 1/2 hours later took 5 hours to replace 2 toilets and had to pay extra on site for something that he broke. Needles to say I will not use them again.

The same day service is impressive. Alex was very knowledgeable and efficient. He explained in detail the damage he found and how he would repair it. The price was fair. I will definitely use this company again.

I kept smelling gas in our house by our fireplace. Others kept telling me they didn't smell it, but I knew for sure it was there. Chris came out and he also smelled it in the same location I was smelling it. Unfortunately, he and his partner were going to have to cut into our built in wooden bookshelf beside the fireplace to reach the gas line and valve. They were very careful and respectful of our house. They were able to remove a portion of the bookshelf with minimal damage. We'll just need to caulk the seams where they cut it and repaint. The fireplace valve packing and other items were just crumbling apart. He and Don (also very respectful), put in a new valve and now there is no more smell. Later that day, the pilot light went out. I called the company back and Chris came back out to make sure everything was okay. Turns out it was probably a gust of wind coming down the chimney that blew it out. He relit it for us and showed us how to do it if it happens again. We are very pleased with the services provided and would definitely choose Chris to come back for any other repairs we may need.

When we purchased our house ALL of the toilets were small and low to the ground. Joshua replaced some of those with adult size toilets and they look fantastic. We are pleased with his work. He arrived on time, gave us an estimate and stuck to the estimate even when he realized one of the toilets would need a little extra work. He was professional and took away all of his trash (boxes and packaging) and hauled away our old toilets. No complaints.

My pilot light had gone out and needed to be re lit- as simple as that. No parts, no fixing anything just re light it. The technician came in and within seconds he had the pilot back on. I have no issue with the expertise but I felt overcharged for such a simple job. I have had technicians come in the past for the same job and charged me no where close to what this company charged me. I really wanted to give a 5 star review but the charges have left me feeling a bit upset

Our water heater was severely out of date, corroded, and had started to leak. Alex put in a new and more efficient hot water heater in less than 3 hours. Water leaked all over home (2 levels) one day after Edward installed the faucet. True Blue says it isn’t their fault…even after an engineer tested the fixture and found no defect to the faucet. They would not even turn into their insurance carrier to investigate. Buyer beware with this outfit.

I’m anxiously waiting for the tech to show up. I was given a 2PM-5PM window. I called the company at 4:30 and was told he’d be here in the next 30 minutes and that he’s close to my location. He called me at 5PM and said he’s on his way and would be here in 35 minutes…not at all close to my location. Disappointed to say the least, and I’m personally late for work because of this. I wouldn’t recommend this company.

I did not expect same day Saturday afternoon appointment. I was even mire surprused that it took less than 90 minutes for him to arrive. More importantly i firnt expect such friendly and efficient service. My serviceman Anthony was amazing got my main drain unclogged in no time.

True blue come out to give us a second opinion with a free quote. The first company wanted to charge us 2200 to replace/repair our floor drain in our basement because they said they couldn't snake it because it was installed improperly. I have called multiple times on replacing water heaters after they came out to give an estimate which I never got even after I called them back to get it again. Guess I wasn't important enough. Not very good service too bad because the technician was very knowledgeable.

Our hot water started to run out very fast. I called True Blue Plumbing to come take a look at the water heater. Alex M. came to our house. We were told that everything was fine with the water heater and he suspected it was an electrical issue with the house, not the water heater. I was then told to call the manufacturer because the unit is new and may still be under warranty. This confused me, why would I call the manufacturer for replacement of any part if there was nothing wrong with the water heater? I called another plumber who came out and was able to immediately diagnose that we had a heating element that had failed as well as a blown expansion tank. He was able to replace both and our hot water was restored to normal. The whole family can shower again without hot water running out. True Blue charged me for the service call (having the rep come to your house) and charged me for the diagnosis.. all to tell me everything was fine and to call the manufacturer, when in fact there were clear issues with the water heater that they missed. I spoke with the manager afterwards and while everyone was friendly and professional, the quality of service was extremely low. I don’t write reviews, however this was worthy of one. Nice people, but I’m not sure I’d call them for assistance in the future.

I had a sink drain issue (every worsening over the past few years which finally came to a head) as a result of my old metal pipe. I called True Blue by recommendation. I was so surprised they were able to send out a plumber later that day, even though it wasn't an emergency! Anthony called prior to arrival to give an estimated arrival. He was EXTREMELY courteous and friendly, taking precautions for both Covid and muddy conditions outside (THANK YOU!). We looked at resolution options that were within my budget. To be honest I was terrified of how much the bill would set me back, but the estimate was affordable! It took him no time to change out the pipe and even put the crazy Ikea sink drawer back in to make sure it fit with the new pipes. He finished under budget much to our family's relief and surprise. Anthony was fast, friendly, professional, and effective. He assured me if I had any problems I could call back, - but the work looks great. Everyone is afraid of getting taken advantage by home repairs; it's so great to have service you know is honest and reliable. We will use True Blue again.

Horrible! They went to my parents to do a reconnect after a countertop install. Tech was very nice but not interested in doing the work. I knew it would be a little extra even though they already paid $400+ for the reconnect. They wanted to charge $1300 more to add supply lines and shut off valves. Said they would have to cut the bottom of the cabinet out. Flew my husband there from Denver and he had it done in 2 1/2 hours and no cabinet cutting. This is project completed by my non plumber husband in 2 1/2 hours. Save your money!

We are renters who had to deal with a landlord dragging their feet to replace a ruptured water heater (Wednesday to Saturday without hot water). Was expecting an afternoon install and was pleasantly surprised to receive a morning call. Tarik and Drew were very pleasant and their conversation made us feel like they cared about our wellbeing as people and not just a job.

I had a new power vented water heater installed through Home Depot and True Blue was their local contractor. I had received several quotes and selected this option due to the quality of the product, competitive price and the solutions offered by True Blue. This was not a run-of-the-mill install, as we had to add a power-venting method out of an old house. Many scenarios and possible solutions were reviewed along the way with a number of bidders, but Devin came up with the best possible way to achieve the best results with the least disruption to the house. These guys weren’t the cheapest but they did amazing quality work. They also weren’t the most expensive. Was a good group who came out fixed a main water line into the house. Took them all day but the quality of work was worth it.

I gave them a second star because they responded quickly and the technician was polite, here is why I didn’t give them the other 3 stars. I called because my sewer line was backed up, I wish I could say that this was the first time, but I’ve been down this road before. I had the clean out area ready so all the tech had to do was open it and run his snake. The tech quoted me $85 for the service which I agreed to. After running his snake I noticed the standing water in my garage did not go away. The tech went to his truck and retrieved a nifty tool, similar to a metal detector, and traced the sewer line to the street. Apparently it uses some sort of sonar to find the clog. The tech comes to me and explains that my clog is about 110 feet out(turns out it’s 103 feet out) and his snake only goes out 100 feet and that he doesn’t have the attachment to go any further on his truck and that he or anyone from the company won’t be able to come back until Monday(this is Friday) and that when he comes back Monday, because it’s over 100 feet the charge goes from $85 to $385(I may be off on the exact amount , it was over $300) I’m admittedly agitated at this news as the reason I went with this company in the first place was that they were able to come out today, the thought of my 5 person household not being able to shower, flush a toilet or wash dishes for 3 days was less than appealing, and now I’m being told it’s going to cost me an additional $385, but I told him I understood and that I’d see him Monday. That’s when he asked for the $85 payment. Now I’m getting upset, you did nothing to fix my problem and you want to get paid. I then asked if the $85 will be deducted from the $385 that I’ll be charged Monday. He responded “no, Monday will be an additional $385. “ I told him “so you’re telling me because you didn’t bring the right tools to do the job, not only do I have to wait 3 additional days but I’m also being charged $85.” He replied “it’s not because I didn’t come prepared” I pointed out that he had just explained to me that he didn’t have the appropriate attachment to extend his snake which was the reason he had to return Monday and that because the clog was 10 feet further I’d have to pay an additional $385. I paid the man and called another company who did the job the same day and informed me the clog was at 103 feet. $385 for 3 additional feet, that’s more than $100 per foot. Because of this experience, In the future, they will not be my first choice.In their response to my review, instead of a simple apology, they claimed they did 3 hours of work (he was there for 1 hour)and that I failed to cancel my appointment for Monday, attached is the screenshot of my text to them letting them know I texted and called (left a voicemail) to cancel.Because of their unprofessional response combined with the lie to justify their position, not only will they not be my 1st choice, they will not be a choice at all.

Great experience. Plumber called before arriving and arrived on time for my appointment. Accessed my problem and gave two estimates as to what my cost would be depending on if he was able to unplug my toilet with the toilet snake or if he would have to remove and reinstall the toilet. He was able to unplug my toilet with the toilet snake. My toilet now works perfectly. What I truly appreciated was knowing what my cost would be prior to having any work done. As well as knowing there was no cost to me for the plumber to come out for an estimate. Other plumbing companies wanted between $48.00 and $98.00 just to come out and give me an estimate. I would definitely use this company again and recommend it to others.

I will never use another plumbing company again. This company knows what they are doing, the bid came in hundreds of dollars lower than comparable local plumbers. Extremely professional, on time, and incredibly professional customer service both by the professionals that did the work, but also fantastic and personal customer service over the phone. I had a water heater replaced and was told by other bidders that the job was “not possible” because of the limited space to work in. My home was built in the 40s and there are always surprises when making repairs. Not with these guys- they got it done faster than expected and cleaned up after themselves like they were never there. “Not possible” was easy for them. They are just what I expect from a professional standpoint… and my expectations are high. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a QUALITY plumber and great service. Thanks guys!

Alex was awesome! Listened to my issue, uncovered a leak and educated me on how to maintain my drain cleaning! He replaced a piece of my drain and ran a drain snake to unclog the drain. I had Bob Hamilton out a week ago and they had the same info that Alex did and didn’t fix anything. Bob Hamilton are thieves and they work on commission. Go with True Blue and request Alex!! I’ll never deal with anyone else for plumbing again!

They installed a water heater for Home Depot Professional Services. Felt like it was a bait and switch overall but we had to get this water heater replaced for our rental house. Initial quote over the phone was 969 for parts and install, once True Blue installer Chris had a look it jump to 1467. After some negotiating the price was settled at 1250 for everything. Even though it was quite a bit of back and forth, that was fine but he left a leak at the main shutoff, even the tenant pointed out to him before he left and he said it was too fragile for him to mess with. If you are going to agree to fix everything, you don't leave a leak over the water heater you just installed!Updated 2-14, happy to report Devin fixed the pipes they left leaking before. They were quick to respond back to the review making everything right as rain! Thank you to Devin.

Saturday morning, of course, I noticed water on the basement floor coming from the master bathroom. First of all I did not expect to get help today. So I was really very pleased to be able to get help on Saturday. I found these folks to be knowledgeable and concerned about walking around in my house and cutting out drywall. True Blue (Edward) has been Great!! We have had to have all new plumbing replaced and sump pump installed. We had serious odors in the basement due to pipes crumbling. As soon as they run the camera and saw the bad pipes. They scheduled the work in 2 days. They have been great in during the entire experience.

Hands down the best plumbing experience I’ve had. Handled the repair as if it was his own home!!

I had Ike as our tech and he was the best. Very personable and he knew what he was doing. He made sure to tell me what he was going to do and when he was done he told me what he had done and what was wrong with our drain. They are very reasonable company and they will warranty their work. I had others going to charge me double to triple what True Blue charged me and didn’t offer warranty like True Blue did. They are definitely someone I will use in the future and will refer them to family and friends!

I had a great experience with True Blue. I needed modifications to my kitchen water line so I could get a dishwasher installed. Time was important, True Blue was able to schedule me for the next day when others were looking at times a week out.Alex contacted me when he was on his way. He was professional, nice, etc etc. The important thing is that he came up with a really good solution for my problem. My waterline was all weird, the dishwasher was hooked up to a distinct line that was hidden behind the wall and hard to get to. He had the elegant idea to take the hot water line for the sink and put in a tee joint so it could service both the sink faucet and the dishwasher. Smart solution, the work was well done, and the price was reasonable.I'm done with the radio darlings like Bob Hamilton, Service Experts, and AB May. There's a reason they advertise so much on radio and tv...because their high prices give them enough income to invest in advertising. Does it make their services better? Nope! Just more expensive. True Blue was great, they're my go-to from now on. I will ask for Alex each time I need work done.

Very professional, explained that I almost certainly had a frozen drain and told me that it should resolve on its own and even told me some ways that I could speed up the process. All included in their free estimate, didn’t try to get me to pay for something that wasn’t needed. Will definitely be going to them in the future.

After several very expensive quotes for a large plumbing job, I called TBP for a smaller urgent repair over the Memorial holiday weekend, and Michael came out same day and quoted my urgent job and my larger job of replacing stacks, changing a washer drain, and adding a whole home water system. He gave a very good price to cover both jobs and I went with it. Michael came out when we next planned, and he lead the job doing most of the repairs, and now my home is done right and things work as the should. Highly recommend these guys, Michael even chased my dog down that got out the front door accidentally, stand up guy, and I’m very happy with the work performed by TBP.

Disconnect and reconnect for HDThen installed a turn off hot water valve.Fixed the pipes under sink to basement due to old cast iron pipe that was so clogged only a finger with opening for water. He was efficient friendly knowledgeable clean and worked diligently to complete complicated and unexpected needs.We will use True Blue again but will want Michael for the service

Luke called me to say that he could come earlier than his original time schedule which was appreciated. He arrived looked at our scope of work and proposed a 3 option plan for our plumbing project which was also helpful. Overall I was impressed with him and his recommendations and will definitely consider his bid for my work, but I need to complete my flooring before we do the bathroom project.

Extremely happy with the service I received from True Blue. Had water leaking through my ceiling in kitchen on a Saturday. Gave them a call and they were out later that afternoon. They diagnosed the problem and got it fixed that same day. The technician, Chris, was outstanding. He was very good about explaining and showing me the problems and what we could do to fix everything. I was so happy with service I had them come back out a few days later to do some other work that had been building up. They give you an estimate before work is done but don’t charge until after it is completed. Highly recommend True Blue for any of your plumbing needs.

the guy came out and looked at the water heater and and went into the kitchen turned on faucet no hot water... he said pipes are frozen and to leave cabinet doors open and faucet on nothing happened the whole night... he didn't even attempt to unthaw the pipes... I had another company come out and spent almost 3 and half hours unthawing the pipes... I don't recommend this company...

Ike did a great job. No one likes to pay for plumbing.. It's also one of those things that keep adding up. Doing A didn't work, let's do B. Well now we have to try C. However, Ike let us know estimates for all our options and that he thought they'd take care of it. The work was fast and efficient.I'll definitely call them again in the future.

We called yesterday to have someone fix a leaky faucet. They scheduled us between 12pm-3pm today. No one had showed up by 4pm. My husband called and they just said we were next after their current customer. When no one had shown up by 5pm or called to let us know what the plan was, we canceled their services. We’ll try someone else.

I just bought a house, and need some plumbing work done. I scheduled an appointment with True Blue based on their rating and number of reviews. Sorry to say I'm one of the ones who did not receive the five star service others have raved about. The technician was supposed to arrive between 1 and 4, and at 3:45 I called to double check that I had the correct date. I was told the technician was busy, and the scheduler would try to find someone else. A half hour later, no such luck and they tried to schedule for the next day. I politely declined because I had rearranged my schedule, and didn't even receive a courtesy call about the missed appointment. Had someone bothered, I would probably be posting a very different review.

Called for a main backup. Edward came out and gave the bad news I knew would eventually come. I needed to replace the main. Showed me the camera so I can see the problem (old clay pipes). He got us so we could get through the night.Minimum disruption. Next day they came out and dug 1 hole by the street and used a hydraulic press to pull my new main through the old one breaking it up as it went.Very happy with the work. The final invoice came with videos of the pipe as proof, but I did not need it.

Alex was a life saver. He spent 3 hours not only installing a kitchen faucet that needed to be modified for the unusual sink I owned, but found 2 pipes that apparently been mis-installed 6 years ago...leaking slowly all that time. Thanks to Alex he knows his business and was very courteous.

We had a broken shower valve that was leaking pretty badly, so called True Blue and had a plumber here within 45 minutes. He promptly identified the problem, explained 2 different solutions and repaired everything right then. Highly recommend their services.

This was my first time going with this company. I do NOT recommend them at all! The tech was nice but the company policy is a scam. I was told on the phone that the trip charge is $49. I was charged $217 for a trip charge and a diagnosis fee when all the tech did was go in the attic and tell me this is an HVAC issue and not a plumbing issue. $217 dollars for a few minutes of no labor is SCAM! I will not go back to this company and I don’t advice anyone else to do so either.

True Blue Plumbing legitimately saved our butts! Our main line ruptured and backed up into the house late in the afternoon, at the end of the business day. I called and talked to (so believe) Jamie and she literally ran and grabbed Tarik who was wrapping up for the day and sent him out to get us temporarily fixed up. Tarik explained the issue, walked me through all the details, and got us lined up witching a couple days to get our main line replaced and back up and running. He was friendly, professional, and explained everything to me throughout the process which made me way more comfortable than I’d expected. I was totally pleased with the job that Josh performed to improve the way that the waste in the tank and stool was cleaned out so that now then when it is flushed allwaste disappears as jt should.

They don’t charge labor. They roll it all into one big ball of a charge. No itemized bill and after talking to them told us repeatedly that it was for the job, also the woman I talked to said she wouldn’t pay that much to install just a faucet. $700. To replace a faucet

Had sewer repair (full main line trench) and repipe plumbing. Edward made sure the job was done right. Work was done efficiently and correctly. There were a couple of small glitches along the way and Edward was faithful to his word. He addressed my concerns and addressed issues other companies would have dismissed. After very bad experience with other companies doing other home repair, my experience with Edward has given me a step toward believing I can trust a business to be fair and honest.

AMAZING company! We have had a LOT of plumbers in the 6 years we have lived in our home. All have been less than professional, late, canceled on us, or didn't correctly repair our plumbing issues.ANTHONY was not only the most respectful and professional plumber we have ever had, but he was a HUMAN! He came on last minute notice to evaluate some valve issues causing our son's bathtub faucet to randomly switch to scolding hot water. After his evaluation, he offered to fix things that day. Due to our son's nap schedule, we asked to try for a different day. He offered the next morning, and arrived ON TIME to get work done. As a father himself, he could see my son was more interested in following him around than eating breakfast, so he asked if he could show him things. He took my son through the whole house to have him help open the faucets after water was shut off, and also showed him how to do things. Let him look at his tool box, and had him help hands on with holding some of the smaller parts. I could NOT BELIEVE how kind and caring he was. He not only finished all the work in order for me to get my son down for his nap, but he also shared personal stories of his time as a stay at home father... as he could see the struggle of me trying to make it through the toddler phase as a stay at home mom with my son. I have never met a business professional with such care and compassion for not only his job, but for his customers. We will NEVER use another company again, and will always make sure Anthony is our plumber for future work! So happy to have found this company, and him!

True Blue Pros! I've used True Blue Plumbing for twice now. (main entrance valve and water heater installation) The first time their technician was communicative, honest and very efficient. There was an issue with a minor leak a few days after the install but the tech immediately came out and sealed/fixed the problem and it never occurred again. This second time Alex was awesome with the installation of our new water heater. He was very communicative on all the issues and advised the pressure reducing valve was too small for our size of home. He never tried to sell me a new valve but the information he gave me led to the new PRV as well. After the install he explained all that had been performed, cleaned the area thoroughly and was very friendly. A few days later (at my request) he came back to check the water pressure and blew the lines to remove any and all sediment that had gathered.True Blue Plumber are paid by salary and no hourly. There's no pressure from them to upsell any worthless products or services. I will recommend True Blue to anyone in need of a plumber and will continue to use their services in the future.

I called True Blue for help with a corroded water line that was holding up the install of my new washer. Chris showed up on time (I especially liked the “heads up, on my way” phone call about half an hour before), was friendly and jovial, professional, and honest. He gave me cost-saving options on all of my repairs (including faucet replacements, under-sink leaks, complete shower replacements, and various calcification issues), and best-case and worst-case cost scenarios for everything. I appreciate that estimates are free as a first-time homeowner; it allows me to see what kind of expenditure I’m looking at down the road. Chris was awesome and I plan to use True Blue for all of our plumbing needs when YouTube DIY gets me in over my head!

Bought a hot water heater through HD and True Blue Plumbing was the installer. Anthony was the installer and did a great job. He did a great job of explaining the needs of the job and was very personable even after having a very long day. His work looks first rate and I would not hesitate to call again. Approximately 1 year and 6 months ago, True Blue Plumbing put a valve in our wall. This valve began leaking and causing damage in our basement. I had another plumbing company come out on an emergency call, replace the valve and they said the valve True Blue used (brand: Blue Fin) has been known to be faulty. True Blue said they won't pay anything as it's been longer than 1 year. The cost of repairs is $720 and True Blue's owner via email said Unfortunately it doesn't fall under us.. I don't appreciate companies using cheap parts in my home and not standing by them. Buyer beware.

True Blue sent Chris out next morning to do estimate. Got work started right away.replaced floor drain in basement including PTrap and concrete work and made sure line was clean. Found and replaced leaking washer water faucets. Came back Monday and replaced old shower fixtures in both showers upstairs. Excellent work plus clean up!! Priced within dollars of what we had guestimated. Very pleased with the quick, friendly and efficient service.

Hired for serious work on 12/15/20, work began 12/16/20. All to be completed 12/18. $13,500 worth of work. Outside work and main plumbing done in house by 12/17. Ran into a snag with shower surround on 12/18, understandable. To be done 12/19. I still cannot use my shower....12/23. Six days with no usable shower. Hhhmmm....they were paid in full on 12/18. No calls or updates, only me calling.They were supposed to complete work 12/28, but never heard from company again. No receipt, no warranty info and my key was never returned. Absurd.

Hot water heater installation was great -- the guy who did that was professional + courteous. Souts for a bathroom in the basement and the concrete + prep work for that was awful. Done by a guy who quit the next day.It was really difficult to get True Blue out to fix the numerous errors left behind, and the work is pretty sloppy and having a knock-on effect on other parts of the project (toilet and tile work, mostly).

We have used several plumbers in the past and this business was responsive, professional and friendly. Definitely a pleasure to work with especially the plumber Alex who came out to help. Will be recommending to others and using them in the future.

Plumber stole our toilet and when we reported it, no one seemed to care as if it happens often. Our toilet still hasn’t been returned. Pretty sure all the 5 star reviews they have on google are written by them. Joke of a company. Wish I could’ve given them zero stars.

Chris with True Blue was amazing! Having a backup/drain issues are never fun and can be costly. Chris went to every effort to inform me of what was going on along the way and to provide the best service possible without an astronomical price tag. True Blue was by far the best price for mainline drain cleaning that I found and I called probably 3 other big name companies. I was impressed overall with the cost, timeliness, and overall service provided! I'm now a dedicated True Blue customer for sure!

I won't go into all the issues I had with 3 brand new water heaters ordered from another place, but Tarak dealt with them with us for 2 days, stayed late and made sure our family was taken care of. This review is long overdue. We used True Blue several months ago. I am very pleased with this company. I had a shower valve leaking. Another company let me know there was no fix for this and the cost would be over $1000. I thought that was fishy so I Googled plumbing companies near me. True Blue appeared and their ratings were great. They repaired my faucet at a fraction of the estimated cost from the other company. Anthony was our plumber. Great service. Great company.

A good friend of mine who lives in Highland Trailer Park in Independence had an employee of True Blue plumbing come out and give her an estimate. She was told that a DWV for a tub would cost her $700.00 and to install it the total would be $1300. I know for a fact that this part is under $50.00... DO NOT trust this company if they have employees like this!!!!!

The plumber was very polite and did a great job. I wanted my driveway drain cleared like the last time for 140$ 4 months ago. They recommended a water jet and getting the camera in there to really see what’s going on at that time. (There’s no bid to approve or even review to clear up questions or misunderstandings) So, this time around, I choose to go ahead and get a camera down there on top of clearing my drain....the camera can’t fit and there’s water in the pipe so we can’t see anything. I asked if I was still going to be charged for the camera work and turns out the camera work was a ‘free add on’ along with the 477$ water jet. Oh, so I’m basically paying for the same results x’s 3. “Sorry for the inconvenience” was their reply...no I don’t think I’m going to call them again or recommend them unless they want to charge me a fair price. I don’t get to charge people for special equipment that doesn’t produce results so.....?

Edward came out the day after requesting a quote. Went through things that I wanted worked on. He worked with me to tackle a portion that was within budget of my project. THE QUOTE WAS INSTANT. Came out on a Friday, made an attempt to squeeze the work in on Saturday but Monday was good considering I received the quotes from the other guys on the following Wednesday.Devin came out and got everything done. Did a great job. walked me through the process before AND after he was done to ensure he hit everything and to also make sure I understood what he did and why.This was my first major plumbing project for my home so I didn’t know what to expect, but I needed things done in a timely manner. When those other two quotes finally came in 2 days after the work had already been done it was even more of a relief to see True Blue was even the best option as far as price.Won’t even call another plumbing service from now on. I called TrueBlue plumbing because I had heard of a great plumber named Anthony. My friend and I had just installed a bathtub and shower in our second floor bathroom. Right after we installed, I had no water coming out of my new shower/bath fixtures. Anthony came out and fixed our water pressure issue after working extremely hard running from our basement, to main floor, to second floor and back down multiple times while trying to find what the issue was. A man I could trust - He came when he said he would, called me right after the job was done, explained in detail how he fixed it. A little pricey but....I am very happy with his work. Extremely helpful and fast resolving our issues. Was called to repair our toilet and was able to repair a low water pressure issue as well. Anthony was extremely professional and quick with all work completed.

I requested a quote over the phone and was told they only give quotes in person. I said no problem and a Tech came over. To install a toilet that I already had, they charge $350. To lift up my other toilet to properly evaluate a leaking base--which the tech acknowledged is almost certainly a seal issue--it was going to be $270. Both these prices are very high so naturally I said I was going to get some other quotes.After the the Tech left, he came back a couple mins later and said he wanted to charge a $50 TRAVEL FEE. This fee was never mentioned in any way prior to the tech coming out... Here I am as a potential customer inviting this company into my home to potentially give them my business, and they try to scam me out of $50.I would have considered using True Blue because the Tech was nice and professional enough, but after a scammy tactic like a $50 TRAVEL FEE that was never mentioned before, I will be looking elsewhere.

Update: This estimation process was initiated through Home Depot. True Blue followed up with Home Depot with little result. True Blue reached out to me to explain their status. I requested they provide their own quote and remove Home Depot from the equation as this seems to me a recent issue with Home Depot. I gave them 5 stars for their customer service follow up and determination to make this right.Original: Never received the quote I requested. Makes it hard to wanna schedule work when you don’t know the cost. Visiting technicians were great, friendly an d knowledgeable.

Update -- We needed pluming services and I called True Blue Plumbing to help us out. We had a more complicated situation than we first thought and the team was professional and got us fixed quickly!! Thanks for the great service once again!!We were without hot water and needed a new water heater ... FAST! Chris was able to get a new hot water heater installed bringing our install to code the day after we made the call. He was very patient to answer questions and left our installation looking VERY neat and professional!! Great JOB and thank you!!

I wanted to post an update after our bad experience last week. They sent out Edward to check on the work that had been done after my previous poor review. He definitely knew what he was doing and was able to correct the previous technicians work. If possible, I would request him in the future.

Let me start by saying I NEVER write reviews. Mike A. came over on short notice on Saturday for an emergency that prevented us from being able to turn on the water to the house. It was the weekend, and he was still there within an hour of me placing the phone call. I haven't ever experienced such high quality service, it was the simplest process and I HIGHLY recommend using True Blue Plumbing. They do free estimates and don't charge extra for weekend visits. We will be using them exclusively in the future.

A nasty smell coming from our drains needed attention. Found True Blue from good reviews and gave them a call. The technician, Alex came out and was kind, professional, and really educated us on the problem, how to fix, and how to maintain. Alex shared the companies business model and how they work which was good to hear, they don't work off commission or anything like that, and really value the customer and the relationships they build. Will for sure use them again for any plumbing needs.

Tarik, installed my water heater. Explained what he was doing. Did a thorough check of the venting system to make sure it was safe. Install of water heater, shutoff valve, expansion tank and put existing recirculating pump in better than originally installed.

Where to start? I have a rental property that needed a lot of plumbing work done. The technician explained the process, gave his thoughts on optional add-ons (with no pressure to buy any), and arrived on time. True Blue plumbing just finished replacing our main drain line and ran it out to the sewer. Tarik does great work and is very personable. I thought I had a clogged drain and found out I needed to just put water down them more to help the gurgling sound in the tub when I flushed the toilet. Edward took the time and patience to explain how pipes and air in pipes work. Problem I need to add water down the ones I don’t use as much. Really put my mind at ease. Very impressed with his knowledge and so thankful for him taking the time to help me understand.

Alex was amazing. He was on-time and immediately identified the issue(s) with our shower. At the same time he also showed me what he intended to do with the sink... it needed a stopper added. Alex improvised a solution in our old house where not everything had been done properly by the previous owners.

On 10/6 I called them to unclog my kitchen sink. They had done some extensive work for me in 2021, and the work they did and the customer service was awesome. So, when the technician arrived on 10/6, he was very professional, he unclogged my drain, but then told me that I would need some more work done with a price tag of $3,500. I told him ok and scheduled it for the following week. I then got another company to come out because to me it only looked like a grease buildup. The other company's technician said that I was right. I gave True Blue 4 stars because I didn't write this post to demonize the company, but to show that all technicians are not as knowledgeable as others, and it's ok to get a second opinion, even if you do trust a company.

Tarik came and did a garbage disposal install after our other one was leaking. Everything worked like clockwork and install was done in 30 min. Very happy!

It was determined that we have a condensation problem forming underneath the siding due to inadequate ventilation and because of extreme weather, it is freezing and forming icicles! Anthony was extremely thorough and professional. He came up with a plan to work with our siding contractor to address the problem. Our hot water heater went out and Anthony saved the day. I thought the procedure was to simply remove the old one and plug in the new one into the existing connections. Anthony’s install of the new one was far beyond what I thought we were getting. He removed the old and replaced with all new. He went above and beyond to ensure it was all correct, and the finished product looks very professional and organized. He didn’t talk is into anything extra, and it is exactly what we needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to have True Blue do anything in the future at my house. I trust them all the way!

I had Ike for both services the first for running rough waterlines and the second for setting a tub in a new build home. I previously had a very bad plumber for rough in and Ike came in and fixed what the other Company messed up. Although Alex, the installer was very polite, friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job, that is the only reason True Blue gets 2 stars.1st, I didn't hire True Blue, Home Depot did, but True Blue, kept rescheduling my appointments, at first, I was more than patient and then, I wasn't. After 5 days with no hot water, I was pretty hot. They promised to be here between 8 and 11 Saturday morning, and I told them I had to be at a funeral at 1. I was told that wouldn't be a problem. Because of a miscommunication between them and their tech, he ran late, they called and again I reminded them about the funeral, again, no problem. I didn't make it to the funeral.Don't use True Blue Plumbing if you need something done on time. Loved meeting Alex!

We had Chris help us out. Exceptional serviceman, took care of our issue. Replaced our main stack, ran new kitchen line & rerouted it to make it optimal, removed the old kitchen main. Also had him install a new water heater & he knocked it out.Spent a solid chunk of change, but we have no worries about his work or that he'd be here asap to repair if needed. If needed, they'll be our first call. Easily can recommend Chris at True Blue!!! 👍👍👍

True Blue is always there when we need them. Professional and thorough. And often they get there early. This time they rescued us when our sewer line backed up after getting blocked.

Michael did an amazing job! He went above and beyond to make sure the work was done properly.

We went through Home Depot to get some kitchen work done. They sent True Blue Plumbing to install our sink. BAD IDEA! Right side of the sink wouldn’t drain and the garbage disposal shot water up instead of down the drain. True Blue tells me it’s a “venting” issue and for them to check that out would cost $$$. They left. Called them back out the next day because the pipe was leaking and the dishwasher kept backing up. Told me our garbage disposal is too big and still a venting issue. Right side of sink still not draining.Called a friend who does plumbing over, he took apart what True Blue installed and wouldn’t you know it.?.? The True Blue plumber installed a PVC pipe and left it so long, that it blocked the right side of the sink. Kept it from draining and sending the same water back and forth to my dishwasher, which eventually started leaking all over the hardwood of my kitchen floor. NOT A VENTING ISSUE!!!!Spent 2 weeks trying to get a refund. True Blue denies any wrong doing.We will be contacting Home Depot and letting them know and hopefully they remove whatever contract they have with these crooks…..

Anthony was very polite, patient and thorough. He gave me two options for the repair. One option was a less expensive short term fix. The far more expensive option was to completely replace the sump pump, back-up pump and battery. Anthony assured me that the current pump will continue to function for a while giving me time to discuss this with my husband. This says a lot about Anthony, not pressuring me to make a decision on the spot. I will call True Blue for future plumbing needs and I will request that Anthony does the work.

Tarik installed a new hot water heater for us today. He did a great job and was very professional and nice. We will definitely use True Blue again.

They came out with hot water heater, I purchased with Home depot. The guys were polite and professional and throughly explained the additional add on needed due to building code updates. I was surprised they fully cleaned up after there selves and left the area clean which is amazingly since most places don't do good job of cleaning upMy roommate was impressed they fully went over the water heater and explained the temperature they set water heater and explain the lights.

Mr. Alex was the plumber that was assigned to my service call. I will never call another plumbing service again! True Blue is the best no hassle no gimmick company in the Kansas City area. No charge to show up, no random smoke and mirrors, and no creepy plumber guy. Mr. Alex is very knowledgeable and even gave me tips on how to combat some of my clogging issues.
