Best Water Leaks in Austin TX
My gas water heater went out and wouldn't re-light. I thought I was doing what the youtube videos showed but evidently I hadn't set the gas high enough to light it. He came promptly and lit the heater and did not charge since it was too simple. Rooter-Man is my new go-to company! Thanks so much!

Trevor was very professional and took the time to make sure I understood the issue and the solution. He also went out of his way to get a warranty part for my water heater. He was very helpful and gave extrodinary customer service. I highly recommend this company as their turn around time is very fast. I also love the fact this company also sends you a photo of the technician along with their name!

It's a typical story, where you have something unexpected, decide to break. As usual, at the more inopportune time. A leaking water heater isn't something you want to put off fixing for long. So I called around and sent out the usual Yelp quote requests. A&T plumbing was not only the first to respond early in the morning but had the best response.Their prices weren't the cheapest or the most expensive, but right there in the middle. But I liked the transparent pricing, availability, and good product (it had good reviews). Others were way overpriced or had no problem recommending another unreliable product. They came by as scheduled, replaced the water heater quickly and professionally. No more leaks and the water is hot. I recommend these folks as well as a water sensor! As that saved me from potentially expensive repairs due to it being located on the 2nd floor.

Your staff are very polite and pay close attention to keeping the work environment clean after working in our house. They are very knowledgeable and have fixed our issue in a very timely manner. We suggested our neighbor call you with a gas leak issue and you were there to help very quickly. Thanks so much!

There was a pipe leaking from the street to the house. They knew the problem but did not mention money until they were onsite. $99 to drive to the house. $400 to dig to find the leak. That's before repairs. Not a local business.

Brad did a great job and took the time to really understand and solve our plumbing problems. We'd had no fewer than three other plumbers who had come out previously and proposed everything from It's hopeless, just live with it, to $6000 to excavate and lay all new pipe. Brad actually knew how (or at least was honest enough) to fix our existing fixtures, and was done in about an hour. Did I mention he was also super nice?

I hardly ever write reviews anywhere, for anything, and am pretty private (hence the weird Google name, lol), but had to for these guys. A long-time friend of mine suggested Redbud to me because I was looking for the impossible: professional work, ballpark range of costs upfront with no hidden fees later, experience in working with older homes, a company taking COVID precautions (masks, shoe booties, etc), leave no trace of trash/leftover materials and has excellent customer service. She raved about them & the integrity of their owner. Redbud has exceeded my expectations! I should have written a review last year, but I like to evaluate a company thoroughly first. We had several estimates done on our leaky tub & clogged drain. Not only did they have competitive prices, they fixed the problem & was one of the two companies that actually found the leak in the crawl space. We called them again for our low-pressure shower output, which turned out to be a diverter problem and now the strong flow is awesome. The new faucet is perfect for our claw-foot tub.Another time our hot water heater was corroded, leaked into the house & stopped working. They replaced it and added a drip pan prevent water from ever leaking into the house like that again. One time our furnace needed repair, but the repairman said we also needed a plumber to bring a certain part of the repair job up to code, which that company would be more than happy to do with their own plumber. We let that company take care of the HVAC. However, we called Chris at Redbud & it cost less than half what the other company's plumbing department would have charged. The HVAC company even commented that Redbud did their part of the job right. Now, our kitchen faucet leaks and the pipes underneath the sink are starting to corrode. I didn't think twice, and never will, about who to call for all of our plumbing services.Unlike some companies, they don't tour through your home looking for extra work or have lengthy conversations to convince/upsell you to buy something you don't need. It's great to have this peace of mind & I'm so happy with them!Nicole W., Austin, Tx

Technician was great. But this company does a poor job communicating and seems to care very little. My heat stopped working on my heat pump. Technician arrived Friday morning. Diagnosed and said I would hear about parts etc later in the day. I even called them early Friday morning and was assured parts would call. Never heard from them all weekend long. Call on Saturday was told they’re closed. Nothing can be done.Monday parts said they had good news that parts were available and they could start the work. Wanted $1154 to replace the cooling fan on the outside and over $400 to replace a defrost computer board. I asked for a breakdown and they said they don’t do that. Turns out the labor is an hour. So, is the part $900?Told them thanks, but I’ll find another company. They called later and said they could use a non Oem fan and this would cost much less. Too late, other company had arrived.I called to pay the bill, now suddenly there is a fuel charge added to the $89 . They never told me about this. Told them I was only told $89. They said they tape everything and would review the tapes and get back with me. Nope. Never called. Sent instead a receipt for $89 and $7 fuel charge.I requested to talk to manager at 7:50 this morning. It’s nearly one. No call.I will never use this company again. In my opinion, they are not honest and gouge their customers. If they cared they would call back and they never have.

Abel is awesome and trustworthy, highly recommend. The solution to our problem could have involved a $1,000+ replacement part, but before he jumped right into replacing it, he tried making adjustments to see if he could save us the money, which worked! He went out of his way to explain the problem, presented my options, and did his best to save us money.

I contacted O&M for a hydrostatic test. They charged a fraction of what other companies charged, were super easy to work with to get on the schedule. Within in a few days, Antonio came out, was very quick, professional, and answered all of our questions, and performed the test efficiently in a 30 min time frame. Working with O&M was a great experience and I would recommend them to anybody needing plumbing services!
