Best Vent System in Austin TX
Radiant installed our A/C unit after our old one failed. Overall, the experience was positive. The process went smoothly from initial proposal to installation. We were able to secure a maintenance plan as well, which was a bonus. However, that's where my experience was soured. During our previous maintenance check, the technician forgot to plug in the fuse to the condenser. We didn't notice for several weeks until the weather started getting warmer. I just find it shocking that the technician concluded their work without properly wrapping up. I thought our new unit broke down until I noticed the fuse sitting on top of the wiring box. While I'm sure this was just a small oversight, I hope Radiant sees this review and ensures their technicians are following protocol. Overall, I would recommend Radiant, but perhaps a little less whole-heartedly after my last experience.

I wholeheartedly suggest calling Mr. Rooter before calling any other plumbers in Austin. My experience with them, as you can probably guess, was very positive. I was impressed by how the plumber immediately determined what the issue was, and how he rapidly fixed it. Plus, he was a really nice guy. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Awful company that has no integrity or want to do right by their customers. I just spent $5,000 on a new HVAC SYSTEM 2 months ago. TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH!!! We discussed that I keep my home at 68-70 degrees and they recommended a certain unit. The unit never cooled my home sufficiently. I had to call them out 5 times and every time I got a different explanation for why it wasn’t working then they switched out my thermostat to a thermostat that they can run tests on.... still no follow up or a reasonable explanation for why my house would never cool to 70 degrees.... I can’t even get it below 75 degrees until 2:00 am when outside has cooled down. This has been going on for 2 months now and they finally told me that there is nothing they can do about it and that it acceptable for the unit not to be able to cool to 70.... they said their guidelines is that as long as the HVAC cools the home down to within 25 degrees outside then it is working properly. And then they basically told me that if I wanted to cool my home down to 70 degrees that I’d have to pay for them to install a bigger unit that would cost $2k more on top of the $5k I already paid. Then they didn’t even have the decency to come out and take their test thermostat back and put my nest thermostat back on the wall..... the test thermostat is still on my wall! These people do not care about their clients and they gave me the run around for 2 min ya before basically telling me f*** off. Now I am going to have to speak to the manufacturer of my unit to try to get help. I am contacting the better business bureau. And if nothing helps I will be contacting my lawyer. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!!!

I called plumb quick after the winter storm in Texas. After hearing my problem and how long I had been waiting for a plumber they shuffled me to the top of their queue. The plumber, Dustin, came out and had a theory that a nail had gone through the pipe. After pulling out the oven, we saw the water damage and realized we had to call a mitigation company. After getting mitigation and their plumber out here, it turned out that his theory was 100% correct. Long story short, these guys are extremely kind, empathetic, and competent. I definitely plan to consider them for any future plumbing work!

I called ARS because my bathroom sink started backing up with water from the AC condensate line. The p-trap was clean, so I knew the clog had to be deeper in the line. My landlord asked me to use Liquid Plumber before using a plumbing service, so I did (grudgingly). The sink drained on its own, and the plumber from ARS came out the next day. And so begins a week-long saga that involved three different service calls and no resolution of the issue. Read on if you want the details.First, the plumber arrived nearly two hours past the appointment window. Instead of really examining anything, he just shined a flashlight on the p-trap and turned on the bathroom sink. When the water drained, he said there was no clog and nothing he could do. I told him I would like him to go ahead and clean or snake the line, because I was afraid the Liquid Plumber would only be a temporary fix. He said he didn't want to clean the line because it would be pointless and cost me a lot of money. He also said my issue was probably with the AC, not the plumbing, and went outside to call his supervisor. He told me he would be right back. Twenty minutes later, he still hadn't returned, so I looked outside. He was gone.I was totally confused, so I called ARS to ask what I was supposed to do next. They scheduled me for a service call the next day. About a half hour later, I got a call saying a technician was on his way to my house. (Apparently, ARS and its technicians are not good at communicating with each other.) I had other things to do, so I declined and said I'd just keep the next day's appointment, as scheduled. The next day, an AC technician came to my house. He spent less than ten minutes looking around, and said the evaporator coils were bad. He turned the AC off at the breaker and told me not to use it, or it would freeze up and eventually burn out. He left, saying he would have someone out to fix it in two hours. Problem: ARS failed to call or send anyone. I had to call them the next day to find out what was going on.By the time the third technician came out (several days later), my landlord was convinced ARS was trying to upsell me, and he would only OK a blowout of the condensate line. The AC tech did blow out the condensate line, but in the process he reclogged the main line at the sink. Now my sink won't drain again. So, after a plumber and two AC techs---and what ended up being a week without AC---I'm back to square one, with a clogged sink. I feel like a lot of this could have been avoided if the first plumber had just cleaned the line like I asked. My landlord has asked me never to call ARS again, so now I'll be looking for another plumbing company to fix my sink.

Robert was the most thorough HVAC technician that came to our house. The two technicians from other companies before him were not able to identify the problem but Robert did and he fixed it! Thank you so much! I definitely recommend Efficient and will be continuing our service with them in the future.

THE WORST COMPANY!!! STAY AWAY!!!! If I could give them zero stars I would. Dealing with Christianson has been nothing but problems!! It all started last week when our AC wasn't working as efficiently as it once was. They diagnosed it as a bad evaporator coil. They told us it wasn't in stock and they would have to order it. We asked the man about the time for the product to come in and he couldn't give us an answer. He told us we would need to keep the AC off until the part came in. The lack of answers didn't sit well with me so I decided to call the main number. The lady in the parts department assured me they had a part IN STOCK and she scheduled for us to have it installed the very next day. We expressed our frustrations with her because the repair man who came out to diagnose it clearly just wanted to complete his day, get onto the next call and be done without properly taking the time to repair it when the part was ON HAND. Well, fast forward 24 hours and after we paid for a hotel room in town, because we have a young daughter and it go into the high 90's during the heat of the day, he came back and installed it. He was in and out in under 45 minutes. I thought that was ridiculously quick but me not being the AC professional, I thought maybe he was just an expert and did it enough where it didn't take much time---WRONG!!!! Two days later we notice our ceiling has a foot long water mark on it. My husband went into the attack (Where our HVAC system is located) and noticed ALL THE TRASH LEFT BEHIND FROM THE REPAIR MAN!!! He left old parts, boxes from the new parts, all the cardboard thrown about in our attic. I get it, it's an attic not a living room, but this is just the beginning of his lack of care or attention to detail not to mention just plain RUDE!!!! Upon further inspection we noticed the drip pan under our HVAC system has about a half inch of water under it. We believe they once again didn't take the time or care to put together the water line when done with replacing our evaporator coil. My husband attached the two lines but we called to have someone come back out as it SHOULDN'T BE OUR JOB TO FIX PROFESSIONALS LACK OF CARE. They said the soonest they can get us in is very late the next afternoon. After being rather frank with the operator I let her know that we should not have to deal with a leak coming through our ceiling not to mention cleaning up after their repairmen when we have paid and trusted them to do a job well done the FIRST (a $700 job at that) Isn't that the reason we call professionals???? She agreed and said she would fit us in that evening...needless to say they never showed back up. All in all, save yourself the headache and money and go with a company who is TRUE professionals and take pride in their work and value their job (ie: serving us their customer) It has been nothing but problems and headaches dealing with these rude and careless workers.
