Best Hot Water Heater Service in Austin TX
After having a reported gas leak in one of our units, the gas company confirmed one appliance was not properly secured (the oven) while another pipe needed to be replaced (furnace). We called S&D plumbing based on their positive reviews. The service was very expensive ($300+ to replace a pipe and tighten a pipe attached to the oven) and they failed to account for the $50 first time customer discount I had requested when I booked based on a coupon they had on their website.Additionally they reviewed our other unit just to be safe and said there were no issues. Not even a week later, we had a gas leak in the second unit (oven) where they gave us the thumbs up. Either they didn't properly check things, or they caused an issue when checking. Thankfully the gas company was willing to fix the issue (for free) after I told them how much I paid S&D the last time I had this issue.I'd recommend finding another company to work with.

Tory was my technician. He came by the house on time, was professional and replaced my disposal in under 30 minutes. No complaints here what so ever. I would use this company again.

Juan was at our house in less than two hours, after we called with a septic line blockage. He provided exceptional service at a reasonable price. He was friendly, cleared the line and gave us the info we needed to contact the MUD.

Pierre and team were timely, professional and didn't jerk us around with mystery fees and surprise charges. After being referred to A&T by 2 of my neighbors, I chose to get 2 quotes for our crumbling and clog-prone 54 year old sewer line repair work. 1 from A&T and another from a competing company. A&T was more in line with my expectations. I expected there to be delays and let them do their thing. It's done when it's done, and there were some hurdles with rock, etc, but the end result was completed professionally. Best of all, the team were very very responsive during the last mile, ensuring that things worked. Glad I chose them and will do so for future projects. I'd happily refer them to others as well. Thanks Pierre!

Had a dead garbage disposal and backed up dishwasher, plumber came out on time and had it fixed in less than an hour, worth noting their minimum charge is like 125, but imo you get what you pay for, and I valued the speed and professionalism with which they resolved my issue

tl;dr: great work, good prices, versatile - highly recommendedWe had a leak in our garage and water in our water heater pan. Unfortunately they were not related, it turns out we had a leak in our laundry pipes and our 18-year old water heater was giving up the ghost. We called our regular plumber but he was unavailable, so we called the references he gave us as well as some companies off Yelp like Thunderbird plumbing. Ted from Thunderbird seemed the most knowledgeable and trustworthy (according to Hope, who used to work with a lot of subs as an architect and a construction project manager), and surprisingly enough also had the cheapest estimate. (Some plumbers wouldn’t even do all the work we wanted, like installing a pressure relief valve).A few days later Ted came to do all the work, and it seems to be done really well. He even replaced our main water shutoff valve without charging us more than his original estimate. All in all, a great experience, well worth a 5-star rating.

Had them out to fix an old 1960’s cast iron pipe. They used the light ray system to fix where the hole was and roots were coming in. Highly recommend! Excellent service. Hopeful that this will be the last time we have to have a plumber out for this issue!

If You dig back through the 5 star reviews, you will come across a 1 star review by someone posing as Jack Crow. I want to go on the record publicly to inform one and all that that is a fake review! I wish nothing but the very best for the owner of Plumbquick and their top quality staff.

Consumer beware. We hired Good Flow for an inspection and they lied to us about our plumbing and over quoted us. We had to get a second opinion and sent out a second company. The second company confirmed we didn't have any issues with photos. Anyways, long story short, I highly do not recommend Good Flow. I don't want anyone to go through the horrible experience we went through. This is a shady company and trying to make money using scared tactics. Also, read other people's reviews as their stories are very similar to mine. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE USE THEM! THEY ARE CROOKS!

I had a job to repair a slab leak. Barry came recommended. I had to handle the job remotely. Custom Plumbing was very professional and advised not to tear up the slab till the leak site was detected. It took a few extra days, but once found the guys were in and out without a hitch. I am satisfied and would definitely recommend

Stan’s was awesome! I called on a Sunday while at work to get my kitchen sink I clogged. Alex was absolutely awesome and offered to come out that day, but I was working. He recommended I call Monday morning to the office to have someone come Monday. So I called and they came 45 min after I called! Alex and Roy were great. Efficient and super professional. They unclogged my drain quickly and left my space under the kitchen sink cleaner than it was before! I have high standards for plumbers and Stans defintely met mine. I will definitely be calling Stan’s again and requesting Alex for any of my plumbing needs!!

I’m revising my review because overall I’m disappointed with what I paid for what was done, especially since one “repair” has actually not worked and made it worse. My review is not about Chris’ plumbing expertise. He may very well be an amazing plumber. My review is about the value of the service vs costs and lack of transparency, including not providing an itemized invoice with a breakdown of labor and materials and warranty information. In retrospect I was dissatisfied with paying almost $300 for minor repairs that were partially incomplete.
