Replaced toilet

I had gone through three plumbers before one finally replaced my water heater (the one that replaced it was NOT A&T). When they replaced my water heater, they did something to cause my shower to stop working. After two weeks of no shower and many frustrating calls, I gave up on the plumber that installed the water heater.A&T was highly recommended by several of my neighbors at the condo complex I live in. I called them and told them about my problem. The gentleman on the phone immediately knew what the issue was (highlighting their experience and expertise!), and walked me through the fix on the phone in 30 seconds. He was very patient and didn't ask for any payment in return for the call.I've saved their number in my phone and will only use A&T Service Plumbing for any future plumbing needs!

Update 11/17 - 3 days later, sink is clogged again and now my faucet extension hose gets stuck half the times I use it. I'm done.Update: Alvin Santoy came back today. He explained that any time you take pipes out and change things, you possibly impact the seal of the sink. He rechecked everything and fixed the ptrap. So far so good. Thanks to Alvin for his responsiveness.Work was done to unclog drain and while here the plumber moved things around, rerouted the cord from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal and not sure what else. Besides the clogged drain, we had never had any other plumbing problems, no leaks, no issues with the garbage disposal. Suddenly, post the repair we have issues with the pipes under the sink and there is a lot of leakage. The plumber indicated there was a leak in the p-trap and provided an estimate for an additional repair on top of the $350+ I paid for the clogged drain. It just feels as if the work done to unclog the drain caused more issues as now instead of having water backing up in the sink I have water pooling under the sink in the wood cabinets.I sent a note to them to ask for a revisit and received a call from someone who basically told me it was likely a problem with the p-trap and that's why I have the water. But, again, I had no issues prior to the repair visit.Hoping they can resolve the issues. But must admit I was not a fan of the agent who tried to say the issues were due to me not adding on another service with Mr. Rooter.Stay tuned for update!

I was optimistic about using Thunderbird Plumbing to replace a water heater in our home after reading some of the reviews and after my initial contact with them. Unfortunately, the owner seems to have become offended by my asking him how many years of experience his technicians have and if are they certified. The owner's first response was You likely found us by our reviews? I couldn't tell how many water heaters we've replaced. I responded that I wasn't trying to insult anyone and apologized if it came across that way. I was just looking for some peace of mind. He responded with No worries, just let us know if you have any more questions. So I again asked if he could tell me how approximately how many years of experience his technicians have. To this I received two responses - one stating each technician's years of experience, and then another email that said I’m going to respectfully decline. You take care.

David not only successfully replaced my toilet flange, a major accomplishment in my old house, but he walked me thru each step of his creative solutions while ensuring that all code requirements were met. Asked this company to come fix our toilet and drain ended up being a huge waste of money. Two younger guys came out and said that due to the cast iron plumbing, they would have to charge me $1200 each to fix the toilet, shower and 2 sink. This would total to almost $5000. They also charged me $185 just to come out to look at it and never even sent me the quote afterwards to do the work. Basically just a blatant money grab on their end.AWS came out the next week and fixed the kitchen sink for $300 total, and are in the process of fixing the toilet. So I basically paid Good Flow Plumbing $185 to give me a false diagnostic with no intentions of actually completing the work.

This was our annual plumbing maintenance appointment. Chester was very professional and checked all the faucets and bathrooms in our home. He would have drained the water heater but it was a new one, installed in April. We were able to track his arrival via a message they sent us. We like that this company is now in Austin also. We used them while in Houston and they employees were always professional, showing up on time.

Every plumbing emergency we've had has been handled by Custom Plumbing Services. All would have been impossible for us to fix on our own (pipe broken by tree root, sewage clog, broken toilet flange). We utilized Diamond plumbing for having a gas outlet for our patio kitchen and took appointment for a schedule...the initial appointment took weeks and given the market understood that its like that with every vendor but had to call many times...was about to go with different vendor but thought it wouldnt be good if i had commited work ..professiknal ethics trigerred at this point so went with this busines..initial dicussion was to have gas outlet and hook up appliances based on their BTUS or whatever..dontvspeak that language...had appliances at that time so vendor checked and said would come back after everything is ready.Unfortunately was stuck with other projects that took long that were dependent to hook up the appliances and took almost 5 months ..i know it the same everywhere with all other teams masonry, pavers what not..everything took time...when it was ready called the company and they mentioned it was too long which i get it so said i would pay extra which they charged 250 more than 1200 that they charged...and had to call many times for this and they just ignore....So texted them and said had to go with other vendor because of the emergency that other crew was forcing on and hired different plumber for hook up...while we were testing there was gas coming out of fire place and within 5 mins there is gas all over the house and had to go out and cal 911 and when entered back when we were told it was safe..As per the new plumber they mentioned these guys messed up the value and it has fire place and back kitchen gas oultets open simulataneously....its kind of a hazard..who want fire place on when its 90 in austin....and for us to enjoy kitchen the fireplace has to be lit....bad set up....i asked the new plumbers to fix it and as always they said they have to re do again which i have to spend double the amount to fix.Called the vendor from differwnt numer and picks up the phone and says that i spent too much time waiting and accepts that its their fault but would never answer my texts or calls..Seriously unprofessional ethics and bad work. Dont recommend to any..
