Best Drain Issues in Austin TX
Requested service at the nursing home where I work. The service tech discovered a faulty temperature and pressure valve on one of our water heaters. After a week had gone by the new valve failed. Requested service again. Another tech came out and said further work was required and he would send an estimate. 3 weeks later no estimate. After several requests to receive an estimate we gave up and contacted another company. By the way, all this occurred before the big freeze.

I called BenjaminBL plumbers because they were supposedly a 5* company. We had a leaking toilet and called them only for them to tell me that they could not come out for 7 days. We went ahead and took that appointment. A family member was here at that time and would turn the water off at night. Earlier this same year, that same toilet had a piece break off during the night and our home flooded impacting most of our house. This flood was two weeks to the day after major heart surgery. I explained my concern about a previous flood and they said they could not come before then. Our day of appointment arrived and 1/2 hour before the end of day, an employee called and canceled the appointment and said they could not reschedule our appointment until 7 more days. They would not schedule it the following day because they were committed all day. I was horrified that they were so unresponsive to our concern of a repeated flood and being that we are elderly, it was not something we could continue to turn on and off the water as we both have walkers. We called another plumber the following day and we received service that same day. BenjaminBL were shockingly unconcerned about our situation. It was disturbing how cold they sounded.I received your response claiming that my daughter was rude who spoke with you after I did. In fact that was not me and she was not rude, simply angry that you were postponing us for another week instead of coming the next day. You also waited until the end of the day to call us in a situation that could have caused us another flood. There was not an apology. Usually when you cancel a person, that person should be next in line for an appointment. Our daughter was afraid to return home to another state and have us with a potential flood as we’re elderly. Is the person so fragile that called that they can’t deal with anger about no service? Do we have to walk on eggshells when speaking with you? What if we agreed to another week and then you cancel again? One more thing we canceled your appointment. By the way you say you are veteran owned and I want you to know that you just let a 90 year old Korean War veteran down. I was adding this paragraph since you commented without us being able to say our side.

Needed a couple of hot water recirculating pumps installed for a remodel. Called a few of the better companies in town since I wanted people experienced installing these systems. Got tired of them all charging $79 just to come and give you a quote. Radiant lowers that to $39 which is helpful. Radiant sent out plumber Zach who was an absolute professional from start to finish. Their bid was almost identical to competitors and they gave me a good, better, best option as I requested. Zach did excellent work and he always took the time to explain everything to my elderly dad who wants to know about the entire process. Work was neat and tidy when he was finished. Thanks Zach and Radiant!(Competition was surprisingly bad during estimate. Criticized recent work and told me I paid too much and should have called him for the installation, when I never told him what I paid to begin with! Toldme it wasn’t up to code when we had passed with what my contractor said is the strictest by the book guy in the department. Obviously just a ploy he uses to drum up business. Couldn’t get him out of the house fast enough.)

Today the technician was supposed to be here between 8 and 10 am. I cancelled the appointment because the technician arrived at 10:15 or 10:20 to start a major job and I had an appointment later after lunch. The excuse the office gave me was that the technician forgot his tools at home and had to go back to get them. This was the second time this has happen with the same technician. The first time I had an appointment with same technician came to do the job he said his tools were in the truck and the truck was in the shop so he had to come back to do the work. The second appointment with same technician went well and the work was done well. But forgetting tools or not having tools with you 2 out of 3 times does not make for good customer service.

Best ones for me, they’ve made me happy so far! Arrived and started work within the hour for the next call. Although cutting a small hole was a bit over valued at $262, I personally value the shower drain plumbing work more. The job was completed professionally and payment was friction-less.DW030 12-IN X 12-IN Cut Hole in Flooring- Wood:12-IN X 12-IN Cut Hole in Flooring- WoodOpen Hole In Wood FlooringFor Leak Repair-$262.62MP-1 Misc plumbingtask:Adjustments of pipe- $350.00

We had a leak in the pipe outside that leads to the sidewalk. The technicians were able to come out to my house within a couple of hours. It was repaired quickly and the technicians, Olen and Travis, were great! They kept me informed throughout the repair, they were up front with the cost of the repair, and they were very friendly!

I am a residential contractor in Austin for 20+ years, and have been using Good Flow for the last 6 years for all of my plumbing needs. Full kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, new sewer lines, leak locating - you name it and they handle it beautifully. Their techs show up on time every time. Their pricing is very reasonable, and they sand behind their work. Highly recommend!

These guys did a great job for me on multiple occasions. The firs was an emergency leak issue that they repaired late on a Friday. I appreciated that they showed up promptly and charged a fair price for the short-notice work. On subsequent occasions, besides standard plumbing repairs, they did some work moving and repairing gas fixtures, quality work in every case. I appreciated that for scheduled service they arrived on time. Strong recommend.

We had two leaks after the February 2021 winter storms. Both were over a weekend. I texted 4 Paws and each time received an immediate response. They came when they said they would. They resolved the immediate issue allowing us to rein the water on. They are very professional.Perhaps most important, they are really nice people. They donate a % of earnings to Austin Pets Alive so I made a contribution as well. This company is now my go to plumbing resource.

We had an issue with water pressure from our kitchen faucet and called Mike P. at Community Plumbing. Mike was able to come by the same day and quickly assess the problem-- a broken cartridge. When he discovered that a new part was needed, and it was not readily available from the manufacturer, Mike called several other suppliers to try to track one down for us. The part was on back order for a couple of weeks, so we did end up having to replace the faucet, but once the part came in, Mike hand delivered it to our home and was willing to assist further.Community Plumbing is professional and affordable, and Mike P. went above and beyond to take care of us. Highly recommend!

There was a very disturbing water leak in my bathroom so I called this company and they came right away and checked my faucets and told me they were worn out over the years so they replaced it with a new one. A job very well done, they had the necessary and good quality materials to fix my problem. 5 stars
