I have relied on Terry Vereen Plumbing for the past 6 years and I've always been quite pleased with them. I called on them again today and was equally if not even more pleased with their service. Update:After my prior review relating to the trip charge, Nikki from Swift Brothers reached out to me and tried to earn my business so I'd thought I'd give them a try. They seemed eager to earn my business and I appreciated that.They had a next day opening which would have been great, but I had a scheduling conflict so got a slot the day after next between 12pm and 4pm. I was surprised when I got an automated email then a call from the plumber around 9:30 am letting me know they were on the way and 20 minutes out. No worries, fortunately I was home, and better to have an early plumber than a late one or a no-show!Plumber arrived, was polite & professional, and ready to work. I explained the job, received and accepted the on-site estimate which was explained clearly, and work got under way. I was very pleased so far and Swift Brothers would have earned a five star review had it not been for two things.First, when moving the new toilet into the bathroom, the plumber cornered the toilet too hastily, hitting the tile wall and breaking a corner tile on the doorway. My heart instantly sank. Accidents do happen, it wasn't intentional, and I did receive a verbal apology - however it doesn't change the fact that my vintage 1958 bathroom with original tile which was in good condition and survived intact since Dwight D. Eisenhower was President is now damaged in an obvious spot for no good reason. So now I have the new unwanted project plus the added expense of trying to source a replacement corner tile of matching color and finish, and then finding a tile contractor to extract the broken tile and install the new one in order to bring my vintage bathroom back to its full glory. That is, assuming I'm ever able to find a replacement corner tile that matches. I almost expected a discount due to the damage, but in reality no discount would of really made up for the time and cost I will expend fixing this.The other issue and reason why I cannot give a more positive review, is that I noticed the toilet would run about every 60 seconds. I wasn't sure if this repetitive drain/fill cycle was a due to defective toilet or an installation issue. Before leaving, the plumber tested many flushes, but never waited very long between each flush. I called Kohler, the maker of my toilet, they are sending a replacement canaster thinking it was defective. Not wanting to wait almost a week over a holiday weekend with a constantly running toilet, I pulled out the installation instructions I saved and started investigating the inside to the toilet to see if there was anything I could do in the interim. Ended up that the inside components needed to be tuned and adjusted properly. I needed to adjust the float to match the canaster fill line and adjust the lever chain to be correct length so the rubber seal on the canaster makes contact where the water drains out. After I did those two things, the toilet stopped draining and refilling on its own. Simple enough and easy fix, but not something I'd expect to have to do after just having a toilet professionally installed.Overall, this ended up being a mixed bag. I needed my water heater replaced and some piping repaired on short notice and this company was prompt, professional and courteous. They showed up on schedule, provided great service and did quality work. I have used Flow Solutions several times. Although I have a home warranty, for any plumbing issues, I call direct to Zef at Flow Solutions. The job gets done right, the first time! All of the techs are very friendly, professional and clean up all messes before leaving. It's hard to find a plumbing company you can trust, but I've found mine!

Very expensive. They charge way too much for the work actually performed. Reach out to more honest companies. There are many out there.

I always request Jose for my plumbing needs as he gets it right the first time, ALWAYS! He is a true professional and should be training other plumbers! He's an asset to any organization...I won't accept any other plumber since I've had too many lesser qualified ones.

I want to say that this company is excellent. Cam was my technician today and I was most impressed with his dedication, efficiency, professionalism and his correcting any mishaps he discovered. I feel confident in the workings of my AC units after his care.Jeremy came to service the split mini in the She Shed. He assessed the situation from the symptoms I gave him. Got right on it. It needed some adjustments and refrigerate. I also like that he explained everything to me as he went along. When he left the Douglas heat pump was working beautifully. I highly recommend his work!

We had a very positive experience recently with Donovan Heat & Air. They replaced our wounded and dying HVAC system and delivered and installed it well before the promised date. The lead installation guy, Brian, was outstanding! He took the time to answer all our questions and allay any trepidation we had. Also, I had several informative interactions with the two sales reps Aaron and Rich and a friendly person in the office answered the telephone every time I called. That counts.

Bought a townhome on 2/1, which came with a home warranty. The upstairs bathroom apparently had a faulty cartridge. The plumber that warranty sent out took off the handle and then proceeded to tell me we had to tear out tile to access the cartridge. I wasn't going to do that and so warranty company allowed me to call out a 3rd party. I called Amelia and Tracy answered and immediately put me at ease. She asked me to send her pictures and once I did she assured me this could be fixed w/o tearing up tub. Within 2 hours Daniel shows up (3pm) and by 3:37 he had the old cartridge chipped out and the new one in and operational. Tracy also did not speak negatively of the other company but instead just pointed out that Amelia has some very experienced technicians who have done this multiple times. Bottom line is Tracy and Daniel took a very stressful time for me (could use our water for the better part of 36 hours) and put me at ease and repair was done quickly and affordably. Amelia will not only get every plumbing job (hopefully I don't need them very often...LOL) but I will also tell every one I know about my experience with them. Thanks so much Tracy and Daniel!! Q

The last company we hired to come out failed to tell us the condition, show us the condition, and was in and out and on his way. Joe was thorough with the cleaning, inspection, and report. Joe spent an hour going through the air conditioner and assessing the maintenance needed, and then spent additional time to show and explain what he did and what he recommends for future visits. My husband and I were extremely impressed with the service and highly recommends this company.
