Donny T is a great technician for Ben Franklin. Strait foreword, genuine and personable. He knows his stuff! Took care of the main issue and addressed all other concerns/questions in detail. Nicely done Donny! Also, Gus C came out today and replaced a faulty ejector. Same deal. Genuine, straightforward, knowledgeable and personable. Nicely done Gus C! Had some issues with scheduling, dispatch and etc. Was going to drop BF for life. Ben F’s scheduling operations/ call centers need some work. I’d recommend Donny and Gus to all. These guys are legit. Ben Franklin……okay….we’ll see.

My sump pump went out on NYE (a great day for that to happen)! Grateful Plumbers was one of the suggested plumbers for Thumbtack. Adam answered the phone on New Year's Day and I was able to get scheduled in for the very next day. He was a couple of hours late, but had called me to let me know. The quote was pretty high (around $563), considering that I went to Menard's and was able to buy a sump pump for $150. I knew this ahead of time, but there was a $49 call fee for him to come out to the house, which would have been deducted from my total bill had he replaced the pump.

Our serviceman, Chris, was wonderful & I appreciated all he did! I loved that carters plumbing sent a text letting me know when he was coming WITH a photo of Chris! That level of detail was fantastic ??

David did an outstanding job of replacing my water heater and the price was half what my usual company charges !

Gentlemen was able to replace my water heater the same day I called. He even replaced a shower head that wasn’t putting out a lot of water pressure with a new one. Overall, I am satisfied with the work that was done for the fact that it was quickly done and fairly priced.

Our main sewer line was block causing water to backup in the downstairs bathroom. We called Roto-Rooter to come out on a Saturday evening and they sent someone immediately. The service technician who came out was very friendly and had all the right tools to clear the blockage within just a few minutes.

I have used Plumb Doctor several times over the years. They have always provided quality service at a good price!

Called for an initial septic tank pumping. Was told there was good and bad news. Good news everything seems to look real good. Bad news there might be an issue with the baffle. We'll send out a technician for free quote. Got the best case vs. worst case quotes stated to me as 2 separate quotes. Best case $3700. Worst case scenario $6500. At no time was it stated to me that the $6500 would be in addition to the $3700 for worst case. Agreed to the numbers of what I was lead to believe was either $3,700 or $6,500 according to what was stated to me before getting to see the contract or fine print. READ THE FINE PRINT,
and don't agree until you've seen the contract. Work was started and found out it was worst case scenario of what I believed was $6500. Agreed to have it done. Come time to pay, total was best and worst case scenarios together. Over $10,200 for 4 hours of work. For transparency, the quotes should have been written either by itself for best case or combined for worst case and stated as $3700 for best and $10,200 for worst case scenario combining the two numbers stated and written. $10,200 never was stated to me verbally or in writing until it came time to pay. Very misleading and a huge punch to the gut financially for a family of 4 on teacher's salary and 2 toddlers. Be VERY VERY careful with this company. Workers were nice. More like wolves in sheep's clothing.

The best part about bob is that he is honest, he is not some pressure tactic salesperson. He does great work also. He is easy to communicate with and he comes out diagnoses the problem, gives you a price or heck he might even give you advice on how you can fix it yourself and save money. When you call bob you get bob, not some random person from a company. We were very happy and will use him from now on. Definitely recommend

Solomon came out to look a my hot water tank after 2 others was not able to resolve the issue, Solomon was done in a few minutes, and now my hot water tank is working great, issue resolve. Great guy and patient, he will be my go to plumber for my future needs.

Alex from Steg was covering emergency plumbing calls and came out and resolved a gas line leak in plumbing near our furnace today! He was professional, competent and quick. We appreciate him and Steg resolving the issue. Our experience with Alex today was excellent! Highly recommend Steg based off of this experience!

Company was very responsive to my inquiries and questions. They were able to install a new water heater quickly. I was frustrated that they would only quote a flat price. They refused to give me a line-item estimate with the equipment and labor separately, or hourly labor. This allows them to offer the same installation price for any job. Essentially, the easier, simple jobs subsidize the cost of harder jobs that take longer. They also wanted me to pay for an annual maintenance plan in order to receive their “member discount”. After I negotiated to get the member discount without having to sign up for annual maintenance, their price was comparable to other quotes.

Update to my original review above: I just received a promotion in the mail from Mr. Plumber where they advertise: Water Heater + Installation for $1699..... Really? My cost was almost double that! So, I wonder what the difference is? Although they claim that the way they price provides a better experience, I stand by my contention that their pricing is not transparent. You know what your price is up-front but you don't know if it is a fair price for the product or a fair charge for the labor.

Satisfied
