I purchased an Angie's List deal with Service Plus to have our heating/cooling unit tuned up. A few days before the service call, I received an email from Service Plus telling me the name of my technician and a little bit about him. I thought that was incredibly unique and wonderful and it made me feel more comfortable about letting him into my home.When the technician arrived, he was friendly, personable and very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and never once seemed bothered by me. He did a great job and we've not had any issues with our heating/cooling system. We fully plan on using Service Plus again if the need arises!

A friendly plumber gave me an estimate on fixing a leak in my crawl space and moving my water cutoff above my floor. Everything was good until the $750 estimate. This estimate was way, way too high. How do I know? After I declined, I went to Lowes and spent $100 on supplies, then fixed it myself in 2 hours. It would have been much less for Roby, as I had to buy tools and 100ft of pipe, when I only needed 4. In other words, if the professional was as slow as I am, they were asking $350/hour.

Plumbers need to figure out that with shark/gator bite connectors, amateurs can do a sufficient job easily. I would have preferred to pay a fair price to have a pro do the work, but I'm not interested in getting ripped off.

Jacob and Robin came to clean my air ducts today and were incredible from the time they got here until they left. My house was pretty messy and we had to move some furniture in order to get to a vent, they were very pleasant and professional. They explained what they were doing and allowed me to see what was going on. 100% would recommended these two guys to everyone!

We had them install a new system about five months ago and it went smooth. Then something happened and heat stopped working. I called and they were here in less than 3 hours. That is what I call prompt service. Furnace just needed a small adjustment and heat is working again. The tech was very knowledgeable too. So far I've been happy with my furnace.

David was helpful and knowledgeable about our plumbing issues. He recommended solutions, worked with me to discover what worked for me and my house, and did a great job in implementing those solutions. He unclogged a drain, installed two outdoor faucets, replaced a water pump, and fixed some pipe in the basement. His work was of high quality. Highly recommend.

Not sure I would recommend this company in all aspects of their work.

The company was hired to do some plumbing related work, which included installing an air gap device for my water softener and putting a lid on my sump pump pit. After installing the sump pump lid, the plumber contracted to do the work neglected to inform me that water was being discharged out of a couple of pipes above the pit into the sump pump. Because of the lid installation, water was then being discharged all over my crawl space floor. These two pipes are very hard to miss. I believe a professional plumber should have brought this to my attention and if I had not caught this, it could have caused a lot of long term and expensive damage. I brought this to the attention of the estimator in charge of my work and was told the plumber did exactly what was in the work order.

Additionally, I had a furnace shut off switch installed by a contracted electrician. The electrician used a light switch as the shut off and mounted it onto the side of the furnace. As a result of this, the switch is blocking the air filter trey and can now not be opened. This being something very easy to catch at first glance. Now I can't replace my air filter until this shut off switch is relocated.

My estimator was also very hard to get ahold of. When reaching out about the sump pump situation, I was promised a quick response from my estimator by another employee through an email to which my estimator was included on the email chain. It took me three times within a week and a half to get a response from the estimator. However, there was plenty of time for them to type up an email asking for the payment before I got a response.

These were just a few of the issues I encountered with them, but not all of the work performed was disappointing. I had some carpentry work done and the contractor for that did a fantastic job.

Additionally, mold dogs were awesome guys who are very good at what they do. It was great having them out and am very satisfied with their performance.
