Tyler repaired some toilets for me, this required some careful cutting due to rusted bolts and contortion die to the small space. Tyler was great throughout, explained some technical items and left the rooms cleaner than he found them.

Weilhammer Plumbing gave great advice over the phone for FREE that could save me thousands of dollars in an unneeded repair. I was calling around for free quotes for a potential plumbing job, and some companies were charging $50 just to diagnose the problem, when all I wanted was an estimate. The advice I received from Weilhammer was helpful and they even offered to still come out to give me a free estimate. I will definitely keep Weilhammer in mind the next time I need plumbing work done.

Be careful of the FREE ESTIMATE promise. Apparently unless the tech can physically see the pipes (like anyone could) and see the leak, if they have to cut a hole in your drywall(2 holes) it will cost you. Yeah, I had to pay 140 bucks for the tech to be able to destroy my property and leave it.

Plumb Doctor backs up their guarantees on work. Six months ago they replaced our sump pump. The home warranty company, that they no longer do business with, would only cover part of the repair. They recommended work to be done, but it would be at additional cost. We trusted them and they did good work.

Flash forward six months and our sump pump broke down, but was under manufacturer warranty as well as workmanship. We quickly found out that Plumb Doctor was no longer doing business with that particular home warranty company and the initial discussion was one around that company being responsible. We had also stopped doing business with that home warranty company because of poor service and experience so, we were worried this would be a problem. However, we had the recommended extra work done and paid for it. This is where Jaimie from Plumb Doctor was amazing. She conveyed our story and situation to her bosses and staff as well as kept open communication with me. This was extremely important considering my basement was about to flood all over again.

So, within a short period of time Jaimie arranged for Ricky to be at our house that afternoon. Ricky found the primary pump had failed, replaced it on the spot and fixed a leaking pipe. Plumb Doctor was responsive. They were considerate of our situation and time. Finally, they backed up their guarantee on work.

Thank you Jaimie, Ricky, Jason (who had done the original work) and the Plumb Doctor Team. You have plumbing customers for as long as I'm around.

We hired Hamm & Sons to help out with a commercial remodel here in Lawrence. Yesterday was their first day on the project and I will say the guys showed up on time and were very professional and knowledgeable. Our building is challenging as it is big but they figured things out- got to work and at the end of the day- cleaned up! Thanks guys!

I had a full repipe for a 2 story house including basement. All big plumbing companies were charging me with outrageously high prices. Harmon’s did it for about 2 times less and were on time stayed in touch and did an amazing job in a nice timely manner!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I was so impressed by my entire experience! From calling the office to schedule an appointment to the plumber completing the work, it couldn't have been easier. The office staff member (I don't recall her name) was polite and informative, giving me a quote of various services I was considering. Their availability was extremely convenient with an appointment the very next day. The plumber, Chad, was very knowledgeable and friendly. And superbly helpful. So far, the work done appears to meet our needs. And the price was more than reasonable. Thank you so much! Can't recommend enough.

Excellent! I can't say enough positive things about Michael and his team. They were kind, explained everything to me, service was quicker than expected and I'll sleep much easier knowing our main and back-up sump pump will be reliable for years to come. Highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

Our house had a clog in the sewer system just before the Memorial Day weekend, causing some blockage and basically caused our basement toilet to overflow and spew some nasty sewage. About 2 or 3 other plumbing companies we called said they could get us on their schedule the week after. Second Opinion originally said the same thing, but I think they recognized this was an emergency for my small family and mobilized the same day to scope out the issue, and next morning to get us on track for the long weekend. Bonus points for being good with interacting with my kids!

Update 7/12: I am taking off a star for general unhelpfulness with our insurance. I also failed to mention that they were generally non-communicative of when they would be coming and going in some instances, and we just kind of assumed/hoped they would come back to resume/finish work.
